They sent regular photo updates and we could tell that our cat was very settled - which was also apparent on our return. J&M communicated really well prior to the sit, letting us know when they had arrived in the country and the times they would be arriving and leaving. They cared for our home exceptionally well. They even topped up cat food crunchies and changed bedding, and the house was very clean and tidy which was joy to return home to. We would strongly recommend them as house/pet sitters. Diane was incredibly organized and efficient. We had a lengthy video chat before the almost two-week sit. She asked many questions to ensure she understood my kitty's routine, habits, needs, and personality. Every day during the sit Diane sent one or more photos of my kitty with a cute caption. Another sitter took over before I returned home. She (the other sitter) reported that my apartment was very clean when Diane left. This was our first time using a pet or house sitter and the bar set by Leslie is very high! She is warm, friendly, communicative, responsible and very clean. Upon arriving, she immediately bonded with our rat terrier, Oreo, by bringing him a new frisbee (his favorite toy/activity) and throwing it for him in our backyard. Leslie has a sweet and mellow dog, Benny, who is now Oreo's new buddy! She kept my husband and I updated via texts/pictures of their daily activities, our house, and was proactive in asking questions before she left. She even dropped our dog off at the kennel for one night at the end of our trip since our flight was too late for us to get home for him! Our home was clean and had fresh flowers from our garden that she put in vases for us! Such a simple and nice touch! We have asked Leslie to come back to sit for us again for 2 weeks in August. I'd highly recommend her to take care of your pet(s) and home too!

Alyssa was a very organized and caring pet sitter. This was our longest house sitter stay and she took excellent care of our home and two sweet and bossy Frenchies. I liked her communication to touch base the week before and how she initiated a shared photo album. We prefer not to get bombarded with daily text message photos and updates. She came up with a connected solution and touched base throughout her stay keeping us informed and sharing photos without a push. She even shared some travel gems about our destination as she is also a curious traveler and enjoys exploring outdoors. We would be happy to use her again.

5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Milly was a lovely house sitter and I’d highly recommend her. She submitted a really great application and after a FaceTime chat it was an easy decision to choose her for our sit. She is the youngest sitter we’ve chosen but she has a maturity beyond her years and it was clear she had so much experience with animals that we felt confident leaving her in charge of our menagerie. Olive our young Pom has never been left with a sitter before so we were a little worried about how she would be but Milly was so patient, gentle and kind that she quickly won Olive over. So much so, on the morning Milly was leaving ,Olive would only let Milly put her harness on her before going for a walk. All the animals were perfectly cared for while we were away and we returned home to happy pets and a tidy house. Milly’s communication from our first contact and right through the sit was great and she even sent a lovely video of the dogs having fun on their walk. I’d have Milly back to housesit for us again anytime.

I wanted to make sure that my puppy would be ok if I ever had to board him in some sort of emergency, especially since he grew up during Covid and was getting used to being home with everyone at all times. They were very understanding about his test run “sleepover,” and took great care of him over the weekend. I would absolutely pick Big Dog Kennels as my first choice if I had to board him for real. It’s nice to know he would be ok if he was to be watched, and it was not a traumatic experience for him. He got a great run with plenty of space, and a chair so he’d feel more at home. He got plenty of care and interaction, and was in great spirits when we picked him up.
This is the only place i trust my dogs to be! Kim does a wonderful job and takes great care of all the dogs ans cats in her care . If you want your pup to get some extra love an attention you can ask and her son does that for an extra charge but its well worth it. Daily walks and baths. Thank you kim!

I hired Amanda to pet sit our 3 cats at the end of March as I was going away for a week on vacation. One of our cats recently had become ill and I needed extra care that could offer more of a routine other than our usual cat sitter (our friend's 11 year old daughter). During the 3ish weeks between hiring Amanda and us going away, I was still trying to determine what was wrong and let Amanda know upfront of the issues happening at home, also knowing I had some unknowns yet to figure out, including potentially having her administer medications. Unfortunately it did not come to that because when I finally received the diagnosis, I had to put my cat down, which was the day before we left on vacation. Amanda was so great and so understanding through the whole ordeal. Of course we still used Amanda for the week to sit the other two cats and I am so glad we did. I haven't been away from home for more than a few days at time since before the Pandemic so it was comforting knowing the furbabies were well taken care of and someone was routinely at the house, especially since I was out of the country. Amanda is extremely thorough and made recommendations I would not have thought of, making sure every aspect was covered, from emergency situations to knowing where their hiding places are. During our time away she sent daily updates through Facebook Messenger, which is something else she recommended given I was not in the states. She also recommended the emergency vet clinic that was finally able to give me a diagnosis after multiple vet visits and getting the runaround from other places. Shortly before my trip, one of my cats became ill and was prescribed supplements to be given with his food. Amanda handled everything easily and kept in close touch with me (sending pics and texts) about how both cats were doing. It really put my mind at ease knowing someone was providing such excellent care and checking on the house while I was away. We asked Amanda to babysit our baby (cat) for almost 3 weeks and it was fabulous! Amanda set up an appointment before we left on vacay and explained everything to us about the process, our cat’s habits, her philosophy about caring for your pet. She was very clear and upfront about the cost and it cost $25 for each day (which included the $5 for any Med administration) and $30 for the weekends and holidays. It’s very convenient to pay Amanda as she accepts cash/check/Apple Pay. Amanda sent us pictures of our cat every single day and took care to administer her meds. She also played and showered her love on our pet. It was fabulous having Amanda and we will be asking her to watch our pet again!
Amanda is wonderful. Reliable is an accurate name!! She’s never not shown up for my kitties or cancelled on me. She sends me pictures and videos every time she visits them. She also waters plants, cleans up any pet messes, and plays with them. She’s available on weekends and holidays (when you really need a sitter!) for a small additional fee. She was also flexible and compassionate with me when I had to cancel a booking due to my cat’s terminal illness.

I have never felt more comfortable boarding my dogs than here at Adventure Mountain with Steve and Kathy. My fuzzy boys were well taken care of and able to run their energy out everyday on the impressive property with plenty of activities for dogs. Steve and Kathy were very knowledgeable and personable and I would recommend their care to any pet parents.
Adventure Mountain for Dogs is by far the best place to take your dogs. Kathi and Steve treat each dog as their own. The dogs have the best time playing all day instead of being stuck in a kennel. It’s like Disney Land for dogs.
We take our Ginger here for boarding and Steve and Kathy are the sweetest and best people to watch our dog. They share videos so we can see how she is doing and Steve always goes above and beyond when he bathes her. He will brush her out well and even trim her up. She’s a golden retriever with lots of fur. So happy we came upon Adventure Mountain, our dog loves it there! The owners are awesome and It’s incredible to see all the doggies hanging together in their pack. They have a ton of space to run, climb, play, explore, socialize, and swim. Our little girl is exhausted when she gets home in a good way. She doesn’t do all the destruction of the carpet now and much calmer. I just can’t say enough. I show the daily videos to my family and coworkers and they are amazed there is such a place like this. What a blessing.
The owners took such excellent care of our fur babies, Duke and Smokey, over the weekend! We are so happy our dogs did well since they have never been boarded before! We paid extra for the baths and well worth they money, they smell so good and their fur feels amazing!
