Two open-minded international students who will treat your pets like family
Ibrahim sat for us during a summer weekend. He arrived just before we left on our trip with plenty of time to go over the cat care logistics, and he immediately started connecting with our 3 cats, petting them and playing with them. Ibrahim was communicative throughout the weekend and shared photos of the cats (as well as told us about a tree branch that had fallen in the back yard during a storm). We came back to a clean home, freshly laundered sheets and towels, and happy cats. He also left us some delicious curry he had prepared during his stay! Highly recommend Ibrahim as a cat and house sitter!

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Prashant and India were fantastic pets sitters for us. Both were dependable and were even kind enough to allow some service people into the home to do some repairs. Our dogs were well looked after and we got daily updates on how the dogs were doing. Prashant is very knowledgeable and gave us a few strategies to combat some negative behaviors that we were seeing with the dogs. Could not recommend them more. They will be missed.

We were lucky to have Andrea back for another sit with our elderly dog and feral cat. She has been wonderful both in the past and on this last sit for a month! We trust her implicitly and are always at ease that our pets will have the most kind and careful attention. She is excellent with videos and communication and very clean and tidy. Again we feel lucky to have found her, and feel she would be a great sitter for any pets!

David was an outstanding house/pet sitter for our active pup Tosha, older kitty Rascal, and 4 chickens. Rascal came home with a deep, gaping wound the day before we left for 11 days, and David was very responsible in monitoring the healing process with photos and texts to us. He exercised Tosha in the neighborhood and local parks, and obviously enjoyed her company. Our house was spotless and extremely neat when we got home, which is always welcoming after a long trip. We are very grateful for the excellent care David gave to our precious pets and home.

Jerry and Suzanne were absolutely ideal sitters for our home and pets. We spoke with them ahead of their visit and could tell that they are genuine pet and travel lovers. Over their stay we got to see even more that they are wonderfully friendly, kind, and responsible - plus they kept us laughing with their updates and descriptions of our pets' antics while we were away. Our pets and plants were well loved and our house was spotless upon our return home, and they were even kind enough to leave a few goodies in the fridge. Amazing experience! Five stars all the way... Nikki was kind enough to watch our two cats Thomas and Toby while were away on our honeymoon. From the very beginning she made us feel comfortable with clear communication and quick replies. Since she was local in Atlanta we got to meet her ahead of time and hand off keys before we left. While we were away she sent pictures of our little buds having fun and being themselves, so we always knew they were ok. She always showed up exactly when she said she would from pickup to dropoff and it was so incredible to know they were in good hands, and we never had to worry. They love being around people so for her to have been able to stay with them and love on them regularly we came home and could immediately tell both Thomas and Toby felt great as they were completely comfortable. Much much different than when we leave even for a few days and have a pet sitter stop by and feed them. She asked all the necessary questions in advance, so she didn't have to email or ask anything while we were away. She even took the time to make sure everything was neat and tidy, prepped the sheets to be changed, and was unbelievably sweet to get us a wedding gift we both love. Nikki we can't thank you enough for taking care of our cats, and we would only be so lucky if you stuck around town! :)

Dr. Carr and the AMAZING staff at Blackstone Animal Clinic are truly ANGELS! They were kind, sympathetic and very professional when my cat was struck by a car. They listened to me ask 100 questions a day and were always helpful 🥰 Even when I was nervous on the weekends about milestones, they talked to me. From walking into the vet to walking out of the vet, the experience was great. The check-in and check-out receptionists were attentive, helpful and pleasant. It was our first time at the vet, and Dr. K took the time and had patience to answer all of my questions and concerns regarding Abby! It's an added bonus the facility has a complete self-serve pet washing station we can pay and use.
You guys are the best! You and your staff showed the utmost in professionalism and concern for the care and well being of my fur children. I have no doubt that they will be taken care of! Thanks for all that you do each day for your pet clients and for the people who love them dearly!

I took my cat Slick here. He originally went in for a check up and blood work, but sadly it ended in euthanasia due to how sick he really was. The doctor was so kind and understanding, even giving him love and attention until the end. She helped us understand the process, and we felt at peace with out decision. I've worked in an animal hospital before but this was my first personal experience with euthanasia, and we are thankful that Dr. Kelsie Faulkenberry was able to help us in this difficult time. We received a condolence card a few days ago, and we are beyond grateful to have such caring people reach out. We will be looking to hopefully transfer our other pets here soon (this was an emergency sick visit so we had another vet), and we are confident that they will have a pleasant experience too. 100/10 would recommend, thank you! ❤️🩹💚

Our animals have seen all of the vets except for one so far and honestly they’re all AMAZING! Our animals are our babies and finding them the right doctor hasn’t been easy because we’re so protective over them. The doctors and staff are hands down genuine people and the prices are absolutely fair. We’ve found our forever vet’s office here, thank y'all for loving our babies and taking the best care of them!

Melanie/Home Comforts Pet Sitting is the real dog whisperer. We have a dog who is afraid of new people and he was comfortable with Melanie immediately which left my jaw hanging open. Initially speaking with Melanie I could tell she has a true pet lovers heart and I knew that my 2 dogs would be in excellent care with her. During the visit she sends us pictures and our fearful dog was sitting on her lap and both dogs were happy as can be. If you choose to leave your pet at her house, the pets stay in a large climate controlled room with lots of places for them to play and sleep and it opens out to a big yard. The rooms have a camera so she can peek in on them at night. The dogs are always attended when out in the fenced yard and if other dogs are staying at the same time, they are always separated to avoid any incidents. She will also come to your home!! Melanie is our first choice when we need to travel (even over family!) and I can travel with a happier heart as I know my pets are treated with excellent care and affection. You won't be disappointed!
I wouldn't hesitate a minute to recommend Melanie. She provides top-quality care for my three dogs, cat, two ponies, and flock of chickens.
