Adventurous but responsible! I enjoy visiting new places & have 20+ 5* reviews
We can’t recommend Rayna highly enough! She has cared for our two cats on three occasions, and each time, she’s gone above and beyond. Rayna isn’t just a housesitter; she’s become part of our family. During her most recent two-month stay, we had a family emergency when one of our adult children was in a bike accident and couldn’t reach anyone. Rayna immediately stepped in, rushed to her aid, and stayed with her at the hospital until her husband arrived. When we decided to extend our trip, Rayna wasn’t able to stay longer, but she still helped us by introducing our new sitter to the cats and making sure they were comfortable before she left. Rayna’s care and thoughtfulness are unmatched, and we can’t wait for her to come back!

Animal & travel lover - dependable (Non-smoker, vaccinated & boosted)
Diane was incredibly organized and efficient. We had a lengthy video chat before the almost two-week sit. She asked many questions to ensure she understood my kitty's routine, habits, needs, and personality. Every day during the sit Diane sent one or more photos of my kitty with a cute caption. Another sitter took over before I returned home. She (the other sitter) reported that my apartment was very clean when Diane left. Additionally, she said Diane graciously shared information about the sit and was generous with her time.

Recent grad working remotely and exploring new areas!
Joey and his friend Rebekka took such great care of Bernard! They took him to restaurants in the area, on hikes and walks around town. Our home was super clean and tidy when we arrived home. Highly recommend Joey!

A peaceful, responsible, and loving guy who cares for animals. Non smoker.
Alexander exceeded expectations. He was patient wih our Bedlington Terrier, Lucy, and she liked him. He did take her outside pretty often and kept us informed that she was eating well and behaving as usual. There were no issues with the house or its condition when we returned home. We would be happy to have Alexander for a future sit.

Reliable, mature and resourceful and looking for new experiences.
Came home to happy, healthy kitties and a well kept house. Meeting with Gail was easy and she was very self sufficient while I was away which was great peace of mind as there was chunks of time on my trip I didn’t have phone access.

Nurse & Pet Rescue Volunteer who will care for your pets & home like my own
Tracy has housesit for me before and she was wonderful then and she was wonderful again this year. Also, Alex is an added plus because he loves my cat Rocky almost as much as I do. They are the most reliable pet sitters you can ask for, and they will love your pet as if he is their own. They waited For me to arrive home from my trip, which was very kind. Do not hesitate to hire them in the future.

Sharla is amazing! She took wonderful care of my nervous Frenchie and apartment for 2.5 weeks this past August. She has a great way with animals and makes sure to keep you informed with daily pictures and videos updates. I know my little fur baby was in good hands for the duration and my apartment well-looked after. I would definitely recommend Shar!

It was a pleasure to have Jeanne and Alex pet sit for us while we were away for a week. Jeanne communicated very well before and during the sit and regularly shared pictures of Yuki with us. I think he got all the attention he needed! She also took good care of the house and our plants. We would love to have them pet sit for us again!

Yaritza took excellent care of Rochester and Raven. She informed me when Raven had eaten part of a toy and had tummy trouble. My house looked just the way I left it. Thanks for keeping the pups company and texting me photos and keeping me in the loop!

This was our first time using a pet or house sitter and the bar set by Leslie is very high! She is warm, friendly, communicative, responsible and very clean. Upon arriving, she immediately bonded with our rat terrier, Oreo, by bringing him a new frisbee (his favorite toy/activity) and throwing it for him in our backyard. Leslie has a sweet and mellow dog, Benny, who is now Oreo's new buddy! She kept my husband and I updated via texts/pictures of their daily activities, our house, and was proactive in asking questions before she left. She even dropped our dog off at the kennel for one night at the end of our trip since our flight was too late for us to get home for him! Our home was clean and had fresh flowers from our garden that she put in vases for us! Such a simple and nice touch! We have asked Leslie to come back to sit for us again for 2 weeks in August. I'd highly recommend her to take care of your pet(s) and home too!
This was the 3rd time that Jill sat for us. That says it all but please read our previous reviews. They all stand and Jill is one of the best and most reliable and loving pet sitters we’ve ever had. If you have a chance to have her in your home and caring for your pets, you will be absolutely delighted. We love her.
Great pet care. The house was clean and tidy. The sitters had great communication. Would recommend again!
Sharon was by far the best sitter I’ve ever had! From the very first time we connected, she was communicative and proactive with follow up. She asked great questions prior to her stay and I could tell she’s done this many times and that she genuinely cares about the pets and homes she cares for. Sharon went above and beyond to leave my house in ever better shape, cleaning and organizing. It was a dream to come home to! Thank you Sharon!
We've had many pet sitters over the years (this is our first time using this app) and Missy is the best sitter we've ever had for our dog and cats. Our pets, particularly our dog, adored her and was really sad to see her go. It is obvious she loves animals and immediately understood the pack dynamics and the pet personalities. She kept the house tidy, litter box clean, and the animals so well loved. Because she was traveling from far away, she stayed with us the night before our trip and the night we came back. It was a pleasure to get to know her. We would welcome her back to our house as a friend or a sitter anytime. Highly recommend!
Ce was an amazing house sitter for our best bud Atlas. She not only took amazing care of our needy pup, she took great care of the home as well. I honestly think she left it cleaner than I left it for her! We certainly hope she is around the next time our best friend needs a friend. If you're looking for a responsible caregiver for your pets and home - look no further!
We were so happy to have Kyle as our house sitter for two weeks. Besides taking great care of our pets and our house, he was very accommodating. We were always able to get in touch with him if we needed to, and he agreed to take on some extra plant watering’s when the weather made a sudden change. As a bonus, he is very likable and communicative. We would definitely have him come again.
Exceptional Pet Sitters - Highly Recommend Diedre and Keith! I am thrilled to leave a glowing review for our trusted house and pet sitters, Diedre and Keith. They took exceptional care of our long-haired cat, Molly, and our home during our absence. Everything went incredibly smoothly, and their communication was top-notch. Dierdre and Keith provided regular updates, including delightful pictures of Molly, which put our minds at ease while we were away. Upon our return, it was evident that Molly had been well cared for and was content. The genuine love and understanding Diedre and Keith have for both dogs and cats was apparent in their interactions with Molly, and it was clear that they had made her feel comfortable and secure in their care. Their friendly and professional demeanor made the entire experience truly enjoyable. In addition to taking great care of our beloved pet, Diedre and Keith ensured that our home was in excellent condition upon our return. They even went the extra mile by informing us about the leftovers they left in the fridge, which was a thoughtful gesture. I wholeheartedly recommend Diedre and Keith as exceptional pet and house sitters. Their attentive and caring approach, coupled with their expertise, make them a perfect choice for anyone seeking reliable and trustworthy sitters. Don't hesitate to entrust your home and pets to this fantastic duo!
Judith was one of the most considerate, trustworthy sitters we've ever had. We had to leave in a rush for a family emergency and really didn't have time to prepare the house as we usually do, but Judith took all in stride, leaving the apartment spotless. She sent photos of Baby Boo and Janet on arrival, putting us immediately at ease because it was so obvious the cats were completely comfortable, zero stress, allowing us to relax that they were in such good hands. She sent photos and video every day, which delighted us, confident that they were getting next level care. Judith would take care of anyone's home and pets with as much care as she did at ours, and we highly recommend. Hope she can come back!!
Jessica was an awesome pet sitter for my cat Fifi. She texted photos and updates everyday so I knew that Fifi was being well cared for. She was communicative and asked a lot of good questions to make sure she understood Fifi's needs. My home was equally as clean (if not more so) upon my return. I would highly recommend Jessica!

My two little mini Dauchsands had to be boarded somewhere when we went on vacation for the week of August 12th. I was heartsick, how could I leave my babies??? I stopped in at four different boarding kennels for a tour before Come & Stay & Play and almost canceled our vacation. When I walked in the door, I was greeted warmly, the place had a great feel and I was gladly given a tour. It was clean, the dogs were all happy and they had inside and outside access. It was perfect! I knew I found a temporary home for my girls. I was able to call as much as I wanted to check on them and get updates on their day. When I picked up, they brought them out and they were clean, happy and you could tell, well cared for. Our next vacation I will be able to go away with no anxiety or worry. I found my home away from home for my girls! ❤️❤️❤️
Had Charlie in for grooming. Cage always does an excellent job and knows just how we like him trimmed. Highly recommend CS&P. Have known Bill, Darlene, and Julia for many years. Good people.
Thank you so much to everyone at Come Stay and Play. My sweet girl always has the best time when she is here! The team and staff here are always SO good with her! They go the extra mile for your baby! The place is also SO clean and there are so many different add ons that really make the stay one in a million. I could not be happier and at ease when I board my baby!
Kage is the best groomer. He takes great pride and care with his work. Highly recommend their grooming services
My mastiff is fear aggressive and no kennel was willing or had the capability to take him. They had no issue whatsoever and encouraged me to come tour the facility. Their setup is such that they don't ever have to try to handle or interact directly with him. I feel very comfortable when I leave him there that he will be safe and taken care of.
It was so sad today.....the story is we brought our senior cat (17+) to this place for nail trimming several times in the past because their groomers/staff are so nice so far. On July 20 morning we called for an appointment, but the staff told us to call at noon because their trimming staff won't be there until noon. OK, we called at noon, then was told he was overbooked that no room for us. We have to call on Sunday, July 23 at 9:15am because he will be off on Friday and Saturday. The other groomer is also off until next week. OK, we called this morning July 23 at 9:15am. However, we were told our senior cat is too aggressive and they won't accept any appointment and further the staff advised us to take our girl to veterinarian! Yep, that is the end with this place no matter how best services have ever been provided. My senior girl once bit her dad in this place while he held her for nail trimming in February, never bit others. As such, we ever asked the groomer put a face cover on our girl during last nail trimming in May and trimming went through well. My senior girl never bit anyone as well. Thus, we don't know what the "aggressive" meaning? However, we do thank you very much for the services this place ever offered.
Very nice place to have your pet groomed . They are very kind and loving to pets. Facility is clean and tidy and smells fresh. The groomer loves the dogs and it shows in his work. I would recommend.
We had to have my dog Puddles stay for 2 nights!!! It was her first time overnight!! All I can say is the team is amazing!!! I called and they didn’t hesitate to give me an update!!! The place is spotless and the staff is very friendly!!! Highly recommend!!!! ♥️♥️
Thank you all for 15 years of grooming services for Bella. RIP.
Friendly staff and my dog always comes home happy. You can call to check in on your dog and if they have any issues, they will notify you ASAP.
We sent our Rottweiler puppy Madison (16 weeks) to Northern Border for the 2 week board and train. We wanted to make sure she got proper behavior training before she was 100lbs. Adam kept in touch with us sending pictures and videos of her progress. She definitely learned a lot and now it is up to us to make sure she retains her training. They did a great job and we definitely recommend them for training.
Wonderful Experience with the board and training program and our 2 Rhodisan Ridgeback Puppies. As a retired dog trainer I would never go anywhere else. Adam and the staff have done an outstanding job of helping the siblings to learn to be more independent while listening to their handler. Our girls look forward to returning the next time I travel.
We could not be more happy! Our dog developed aggression and protection issues that required training. She is back in point and very loving again. Adam is caring, compassionate, considerate and extremely knowledgeable!! Highly recommend and extremely trustworthy!
We were very hesitant to place our 2 yr old cane corso in the 4 wk bd/train program. We had her signed up about a year ago, but cancelled cause we didn't want to be separated from her that long. Well....her bad habits got worse...alot worse! Soo we called Adam again! We talked and he was very patient and informative with us. We soon admitted her in the 4 wk bd/train. Adam was wonderful with her! She was very aggressive with him in the beginning, but he didn't give up on her! He kept us updated and sent pics on her progression. He eventually was able to work with her and correct her bad habits! His training methods were very patient and fair! She is home now! Not only are her bad habits gone but she is obedient. Adam warned us she might try to go back to bad habits, so he is also training us! Adam is excellent at answering our questions promptly. We highly recommend the bd/train. It was definitely worth being separated...she is a much more enjoyable dog!
Adam helped us with our 1.5 year old female German Shepherd dog. Prior to scheduling with Adam, she was unable to walk on a leash (we could barely take her outside of the house), she was very reactive towards people, other dogs, and cats. Within one session, we can now walk our dog on a leash with minimal problems, and she no longer reacts as aggressively towards any of the previously listed triggers. I would highly recommend Adam and the Northern Border to anyone experiencing obedience issues. He does not only work with the dog, but with the owner, and puts forth the effort to establish a trusting relationship with both owner and dog, while remaining nonjudgmental of prior ignorance and mistakes. He is very patient and funny, and incredibly responsive to questions.
Petey, our 9 month old Australian Shepherd, worked with Adam for 3 weeks on impulse control, manners, and other obedience work. He came back home happy, healthy, and eager to work on his skills! He went from stealing food off counters, from our toddler, and taking decorations off of shelves to laying on the couch during meals and following commands on the first try. Adam sent pictures and videos throughout his time with Petey to make sure we knew what he was working on and that he was well taken care of. All of the facilities were clean and Adam has answered any questions we have had since he came home without issues! We can’t wait to see how much Petey will grow with his new skills!
Very happy I decided to put Bolt into the 2 week training with Adam. He is a very nervous German Sheppard and needed the proper person to introduce him into different atmospheres and learn that it is ok and fun to go out, instead of staying in his safe place of our home. He now listens to commands better and jumps right into my car when it's time to go for a ride. We are working on the things he learned with Adam every day and I'm amazed he actually walks next to me and sits when I tell him to. I was nervous about 2 weeks but Adam was great and took him while I was out of town for half of that time so I wouldn't be at home thinking about it every minute. He sent me daily updates/pics which helped my anxiety and could see how much fun and attention Bolt was receiving. Made me feel very at ease about the whole process. Thank you Adam. I would recommend your services to anyone that asks. Jen Ross
I have now utilized The Northern Border's boarding services twice for my challenging-to-manage dog, and I cannot adequately express my satisfaction. My 6-year-old American Bully, Cade, can be highly reactive and difficult to handle, but Adam and his team have been absolutely remarkable in their care for him. Many places turned me down due to Cade's perceived risk, but this team welcomed him without hesitation. I'm willing to drive nearly 3 hours just to board him here. The facility is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with spacious and immaculate kennels. This time, I had specific meal and medication requests for my dog, and they were more than willing to accommodate them. I will never consider another facility for my current or future dogs. Initially, I was hesitant to leave him anywhere, especially given his age and unfamiliarity with being apart from me. Adam was superb in responding to my messages and alleviating my concerns, even providing photos when requested. I can't express enough gratitude for the outstanding care you provide. I also want to extend my thanks to all the staff who have interacted with Cade during this stressful time for him; you truly go above and beyond!
By FAR our preferred place to take our 130# Rottweiler Debo. Been using Northern Boarder for around 5 years now and Adam is always awesome to deal with!
Amazing facility! Dog training at it's best! I met with Adam for a private lesson concerning my two large dogs that over time have become aggressively reactive to most everything, including each other. I've been to many other trainers and wasted alot of time and money with little to no change but after just 15 minutes I could see that Adam was taking a different approach than other have. At first I thought my dogs were going to kill him but as he moved around with them(literally dodging them) he just kept saying " Stay there! We're good, just let it be". I thought he was nuts! but boy was I wrong. After just 30 minutes he had their full attention and he was actually training my dogs TOGETHER!! Then he started working on teaching me commands and how to enforce them with a strict but fair approach. We went over so much in a short period of time that Adam sent me notes to reference as I continue to train my dogs at home. Adam told me that this is not going to be a quick fix and I 100% agree but with Adam's help I finally feel like there is hope in getting control of the problems. Long story short, I can not say enough positive things and will most definitely be back. I already scheduled another private lesson.
Boarded our Kiera there. They were awesome! This was while there was the extreme heat here in Ohio. They put our minds at ease when we called to check on her letting us know they were paying attention to her due to her breed. She had so much fun. I would definitely use them again and would 100% recommend them.
This is a great place to board your dog we used them while we were away for ten days. Wonderful staff that truly cares and top notch facility with a very large area for the dogs to play. I highly recommend them for boarding your dog.
Excellent care of lab and 2 cats. You can tell it is a profession. Warm smiles, clean and good care to all animals. My mind at ease.. First time user.
I feel assured that my pup is in good hands when I take him to Broadview Acres when I go on vacation. The staff are kind, the kennels are clean, and the kennel is located in a beautiful place in the country.
I see a groomer there and she is fantastic! She takes so much personal attention with my pup and is so flexible with drop off and pick Up.
This is a woman owned business. They care about your pet. My fur baby goes to daycare there and absolutely loves going. Awesome place to let your dog play or if you need to board them. They take care of your pets.
We just started taking our Golden retriever Stella to the Austintown location. She LOVES LOVES this place so much. She makes lots of new friends here. They take very good care of her and the end of the day we get one tired pup back. I would recommend this doggo daycare to anyone.
Our 2 dogs have stayed here for years while me and the wife travel and they have been more than we could have ever asked for. Best pet resort around. Heated floors and occasional face book updates let you know your babies are in the right place. Had many issues leaving them with friends and family, and now havent had issues ever. You can tell they love them almost as much as us.
Me and my fiance used broadview acre's to house our dog last August for a camping trip. They are very well priced and took great care of our cane corso. We're leaving for a trip for and will be dropping our dog off once again for her second stay. We wish should could come with us on vacation but sadly she can't so we definitely trust broadview acres to take care of the 7th member of our family!
Broadview Acres is a beautiful place for your dog to take a day off from the rat race to play with other dogs or just spend some time relaxing on their own. The people genuinely love animals and make sure everyone who comes in gets a vacation from the world while on site. Absolutely will bring my boys here again, they had a blast and slept the whole way home!
Jennifer is wonderful. Unfortunately, I have had some ill pets and Jennifer is wonderful and experienced at giving pet meds and providing lots of love. I feel very comfortable whether I am gone for the day or the week. I know my pets are well looked after with Jen in charge of their care. Daily notes keep me updated on how each visit goes. Jen is very professional, I highly recommend her.
We love Jen pet sitting for us! She is so sweet and very professional. She is soooo great with our dog Sasha. She is so nurturing and caring. She put a coat on Sasha when it was cold out once and sent us a picture. She always keeps us posted on how Sasha is doing via email/written notes. We highly recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter. If we could keep her all to ourselves we would, that's how much we love Jen!!
Jen is very responsible, professional and delivers wonderful pet sitting services. I always feel I can trust her when I'm away. I would highly recommend her services to anyone who needs someone to take good care of pets while away from home.
Jen has watched my chihuahua mix Asterid for over a year. She loves my dog as her own and my dog is excited every time she hears Jen's name. I trust Jen completely and am so very grateful to have a reliable and loving pet sitter close to home.
Jennifer has done a great job with our dog "Chloe"! She is 6 years old and has always been with our other dog that just passed away. Chloe was very shy and unsure of her new surroundings. Jennifer worked patiently with her and is being well taken care of!
Jen has been visiting our dog (a 90lb Rhodesian Ridgeback named Nala) for over 1 year, and we could not be happier! She is professional, dependable, accommodating, affordable, and loves our girl like she is her own. Jen leaves detailed notes for each visit, and is very easy to get ahold of via telephone or email during the week. Nala loves their daily walks, and we could not recommend a better person to take care of your furry-family-member(s)!
Jen has been walking my dog George for 2.5 years. She's reliable, dependable, professional, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for them. You will not be disappointed!
Jen was the perfect pet-sitter. She took the time to learn about Danny and had the skill and compassion to be patient with him and care for him here at his new home. We could not have left our sweet little boy in better hands and were so pleased with the genuine concern that Jen showed in caring for our pet. Paul N.
I have used Jen's service a couple times now and have been extremely pleased! My cats have been well cared for and I get email updates of how the visits went. The service Jen provides is very reassuring and professional. Jen's service allowed me to have worry free trips out of town!
Jenn is a true professional, and she has a real connection with the pets she works with. Would definitely recommend
The facility was clean an very busy. I didn't care for how the animals were kept in small cages with gravel outdoor an plastic grating on the inside. They have so many animals an no way to get them all out of the cages for any length of time. So only the ones who pay $5 extra a day for a 30 min walk. The employees were nice and efficient. Its not what I want for my dogs. I will have to look for other accommodations in the future.
I took me a little bit of time to be able to type this without getting as upset. We had to emergently place our Bernie here due to a death in the family and we had to go out of state. It was the only place that said yes and under normal circumstances I research the hell out of places. I did not care at all for the cages. They were so small and I have a big dog. I asked them to walk him 3-4 times a day when I found out they don't let the dogs out to run around. When I picked him up it was hotter than blazes in that damn place and my dog is mostly black and he had NO WATER in his bowel. When I got the bill, they walked him ONCE. He was so dehydrated that my husband had to sit next to him and almost force feed him water. It took a long time for him to recover from this. If you "don't have the time" to properly take care of someone else's dog, maybe you shouldn't try to take care of so many at one time or just don't do it at all. Shame on me for not doing my research but shame on you for doing this only for profit and not caring at all about the poor animals.
Just boarded our standard poodle Kelcie with them. Was an all around tough decision for me. But was a great experience. Friendly staff, beautiful, clean facility. Just wish all of our things would have been returned to us. Other than that no complaints. Glad I have a place to trust if I ever need to leave her again. ***EDIT*** Our missing items were returned! They were being washed! Again I have no complaints, was a great all around experience for us and we will be back! Thanks again!!!!
If I could rate this place a lower rating I definitely would. My dog is still recovering after almost a week of being home. They make up excuses for their lack of care and refuse to take any responsibility for anything. A dog doesn't come home extremely dehydrated with a severely infected tail with proper supervision. Very poor management, terrible animal care. Do some real investigating before you "trust" this facility. I've found out so much more by asking questions. I never would have gone their if I had done so.
Price wise, they are in the low end. But, you get what you pay for. I took my 2 dogs there and had the worst experience. When I picked them up, I was told one had diarrhea for two days. I had even called the night before to check in them and tell them what time I was picking them up the next day. It was never mentioned to me that one of my babies had diarrhea for a day. It happens sometimes, but I should have been informed. When I got him out of the kennel, he had diarrhea caked on his behind that was never cleaned off. The lady said she hadn't had time to clean him off. They knew I was coming to pick him up. After I cleaned him off, it was apparent that the caked on diarrhea had been there at least since the day before, and his behind was red and raw. They said he only just started having diarrhea a day and a half before, so they weren't going to call or do anything. They also said he was not friendly, so they limited their interactions with him. That's not his personality at all. They obviously don't really know about dogs and body language. When I called the office to complain about the fact that he was never cleaned up, the owner just kept telling me that they couldn't help it when dogs got diarrhea. She completely deflected the fact that nobody cleaned him up, and I want advised. When I argued I was mad about he wasn't cleaned up and I wasn't told he was having issues, all she couldn't help that he had diarrhea. Finally, after going round and round, she said she cleaned him up personally the night before. I also asked why I wasn't called and informed, She said he only had diarrhea for today's. So she wasn't going to call him. Let me know until he had diarrhea for more than a few days. Then she would have just given him an Imodium. My other dog had a gouge out of his nose, and I asked why I wasn't called and told about it or if it was cleaned and looked after. I wasn't even told about it upon arriving to pick them up. The owner basically told me he was digging and probably hurt it that way. He's not a digger. I was asked why I wasn't told or why it wasn't cleaned, and she didn't have an answer. Around 6:30 pm the day I picked them up, (I picked them up at 9:30 am) the owner called and left a message saying that my one dog (the one with diarrhea) completely destroyed the metal flashing around the doggie door and I should check his mouth. She also said she's never seen a dog do that much damage. This is not like him at all. He shuts down and doesn't destroy things when he's stressed. Anyway, I didn't notice any injuries to either of my dog's mouths or faces after I cleaned them up when I got them home (they were filthy). But I did recheck both of their mouths and faces, and there's wasn't a mark on either of them that indicated they carried out such destruction on a metal flashing. I also don't like their general layout. The kennel is very loud. I'm not sure how climate controlled as it was almost 80 degrees, and it was a little warm and stuffy in the building. They use stones/pebbles for flooring instead of cement. How they sanitize is beyond me. They also have a bell that goes off in the kennel every time someone pulls into the driveway. It's as loud as the period bell in school. Which you can imagine freaks out even the most emotionally stable dog. They only feed once a day so they don't have to clean up kennels at night. I left instructions that both needed fed 2 times a day due to sensitive stomachs and vomiting. Who knows if that happened. They both came home and started drinking tons of water, which made me question how much water that had access to during their stay. I have never experienced such poor care. I unfortunately had to find someone last minute because my normal boarder wasn't able to take them. This place was recommended by a friend, which is why I selected to take my babies there.
I’ve been taking my Beagle there every year and have no complaints. They are always courteous on the phone and more polite in person. A great kennel without having to break the bank. I highly recommend it.
First time to kennel our fur baby. Very happy with the 4 day stay. Impressed with the clean facilities. Smelled clean too!
Love them!!! They have been very accommodating to us, as well as our pet. The folks that work there love the animals and do a very nice job. We've been boarding our pup there several times for both daycare as well as over-night boarding.
My mother, my sister and I all boarded our dogs for a week of vacation in June which we booked in February. The day we dropped them off we were told that 2 of them did not have a reservation but they would keep them- no problem. We called a couple of times to check on our baby's and was told they were doing fine. Upon our return the dogs had lost weight, had kennel cough ( which they were all vaccinated for) and had eye infections. The food sent for my dog was measured out and extra food was sent for the week. Almost none of the food was gone when picking him up after the week. It took a trip to the vet and 2 good weeks to get our dogs " healthy" again. I would NOT recommend boarding your fur babies at this facility
I took my cat there to be boarded and supplied our own food (which was not mandatory but I have a specific feeding plan). I supplied the exact amount of food and hand written instructions for her feeding for the time we were gone. When I arrived to pick her up, the food in her dish was not what I had supplied and the bag I received back from the food I had supplied was not even half used. We will not be going back.
My dog loves it there. Ray and his coworkers are awesome and they take such a good care of our dog Hugo!!
They take fantastic care of our two Bassett hounds .They love it there and they go back every we go of town. Ray and the staff are top notch ! They truly love dogs and it shows. I have recommended Silver Creek Kennel to several of our friends.
This place is THE BEST! My dogs absolutely love going to the kennel they go crazy as soon as I turn into the parking lot! This makes you feel great about boarding your dogs. Best boarding in the city. Ray and his staff are so friendly and accommodating it is like a home away from home for my dogs. Their grooming services are great as well. Highly recommend.
I have an Old English Sheepdog named Rosie who is 13 years old. Ray and the staff treat her like a princess! They are so kind and gentle with her. Ray goes above and beyond to make Rosie comfortable while grooming her. I highly recommend Silver Creek Kennel for grooming services.!
Great people, they provide everything you need or you can bring your own. Dogs are free to leave their cage into fenced area. Owners on premises, cell phone to access them and will make any reasonable requests.
I left my young German Shepherd at Silver Creek Kennel for her first kennel experience and I was extremely happy that I found them because it was a very positive experience for not only Riley, but for me as well! I was apprehensive to leave her but Ray gave me many updates with pictures so that I could see how well she was doing! That allowed me to enjoy my vacation knowing she was in such capable hands and being cared for so well! I have had dogs for many years and have had many kennel experiences, but this was by far one of the best experiences I have had. Riley looked and smelled great when I picked her up and was ready to go home but not desperate to go home like I have had happen at some kennels. I highly recommend Silver Creek Kennel!!
Silver Creek Kennel has truly been a Godsend! Ray has been so helpful with our German Shepherd, Oskar! He has terrible separation anxiety and spending the day at Silver Creek is such a wonderful treat for him and us while I'm at work. Ray and his staff are great with the dogs and owners! I highly recommend Silver Creek for grooming, daycare, and boarding! Your dog is in very capable and caring hands!
Outstanding service and the staffs are the most friendly. When I leave my dog and when I pick them up they know them well and feel like the dogs are very well cared for.
I rarely if ever kennel my dog. Ray assured me he would take good care. Ray gave daily text updates including pictures of multiple walks per day. Ray even hand fed my dog as he was distressed about being in a kennel. Ray had my dog spend a good portion of the daytime in the grooming room to make him more comfortable.
I had a grooming appointment on 6/22/22. When I first walked into the facility my first impression was how dirty it was. I filled out my dogs information , and asked if I could see where my dog will be kept while waiting for her groom .I was told I was not allowed to go to the back. I asked the gentleman to please ask the owner or manager, but was told the same answer. They could have held my dog for two minutes while I looked at the area. I was also told that on Tuesday’s they have tours. I work on Tuesdays and that would not have helped this situation. I took my dogs information sheet with me and the gentleman ran out to tell me the owner would like it back. Why didn’t the owner come out to speak with me? What has happened to transparency.
Rachel took very great care of both my cats, she came over and did a meet and greet in person beforehand which I really appreciated. I was worried about my boy cat because he is not the most social but I believe Rachel’s calm demeanor broke him out of his shell. Will definitely use her services again in the future.
Rachel is amazing! She has watched my cat many times and each time I know I don't have to worry when I'm gone. She sends me photos and updates each time she comes to see him. She is dependable and reliable and I highly recommend her services!
Rachel is wonderful! I was so nervous about leaving my cat who is very shy and has never been alone since my other cat passed away. Rachel took great care of her, checked in Daily with notes and photos and put my mind at ease. When I returned home the litter boxes, water bowls and food dishes were spotless and Rachel even brought in my mail. She is a lifesaver. ❤️
Reliable. Responsive. Great with my critters and a good communicator. Would recommend. She goes the extra mile!
Rachel was wonderful. We loved her thorough intake and attention to detail. She sent great photos and updates. The best is coming home to a happy cat. Definitely recommend.
Rachel was amazing. Not only helping me with walking, but great advice on nutrition and other things. My dog really liked her. I've had a walker before, but Rachel was in a different league. I highly recommend her.
Rachel is great with my two senior cats (and a crested gecko). She handles both cats' medications, including an inhaler for asthma. I have her visit 2× each day when I'm away, and she sends updates with pictures or a video for every visit. My elder cat really only cares about getting his meals, but the younger eagerly jumps in her lap whenever she sits down and is so happy to have someone for pets and playtime. She also caught that he might have acid reflux, and after discussing medication with my vet, he no longer gets an upset tummy when he eats on an empty stomach.
Rachel has taken care of our two cats during our two most recent vacations. She does a great job, communicates daily with notes and photos and videos, assuring us that “our boys” are doing just fine. We’re glad to have found her service and recommend her highly!
I've used Rachel's VIP Petting Sitting for two years and couldn't be happier with the great service and utmost care she provides my two cats. Mabel and Gracie love Rachel and are always happy and purring away when she visits. Rachel is prompt, will send you pictures and videos of her visits, plus write adoring journal notes of her stay which always makes me smile when I return home. I never worry when I'm away because Rachel is with my fur babies. I highly recommend Rachel's VIP Pet Sitting to the local community!
Absolutely recommend! We feel truly lucky to have found Rachel- we knew our boys were in great hands. Rachel obviously is a huge cat lover-you could really tell she cares for the pets that she watches. We were sent many photos and detailed messages every day about how our cats were! It's nerve wrecking leaving your cats in someone else's hands but we didn't have anything to worry about- we will be using her services again!
Excellent service! We left our little Remi while we were out of town for a week, and they provided her with nothing but the best! They even made sure to update us with photos and texts throughout our vacation - definitely left our minds at ease knowing our fur baby was okay! Our pup was nervous when we dropped her off, but the staff made sure to make her comfortable and happy. Our dog doesn’t eat when she’s nervous, so the staff took the time to hand-feed her to prevent her from going hungry for a week. Super nice and caring staff, good communication and clean facility. I highly recommend as we will for sure be using them again!
Great place! Super easy to communicate via text, which is a huge plus. Very clean, and upon meeting the staff for the first time (and on short notice) they were nice enough to show me around entirely unprompted, which was great. It's a little out of the way for us, but we were anxious to make sure we left our pups somewhere not only affordable, but also allowed them to get some enrichment and socialization with other dogs in during the daytime while being boarded. We have two dogs, one who is pretty anxious and dependent on the other, so being able to house them in the same well-sized kennel was nice. We've used this place twice so far, and the second time, as soon as I put the dogs in the car, they were SO EXCITED, as if they already knew where they were going. Now I'm not stressed at all about the idea of having to board them for vacation.
Canine Cove is the best place to board your dog or send them for daycare! My dog always has the best time. When we pull into the parking lot he gets so excited and pulls to go into the door! The girls who work there are some of the sweetest people I have ever met. They send pictures and videos throughout his stay when I boarded him for a week. They treat every dog as if they are their own and always are smiling. I’m so happy we found them.
Canine cove is the absolute best! My Benji can sometimes be a handful but they truly love and care for him and all dogs like they are their own! I would never even consider going somewhere else! Nikki, Shelby and Hanna are all amazing I know when Benji is there he is in the best hands and I never ever have to worry! Hands down 10 out of 10 and would recommend anyone with dogs check them out!!! You will not be disappointed
Sent my dog there for doggie daycare with understanding if there is any issues to contact me immediately . No calls/texts . I was left to believe everything was ok. Keep in mind my dog has stayed at this place under the past ownership dozens of times with no issues. I was told “he chewed on some plastic that was on cage and his tooth might be bleeding.” I was also told my dog may have separation anxiety. He has many akc certifications and has stayed in kennels with no issues since he was 6 months old. he is now 6 years old. They were advised my dog will chew on things up against cage. They advised that they don’t put things near cage that dog can reach .Well it was not a simple chewing of plastic. He tore a plastic panel that was near cage apart (relayed later to me weeks later). My dog fractured several teeth causing one to be extracted. He was vomiting occasionally and we thought it was food related or acid reflux as we had him to vet. 3 weeks after stay he puked up a large price of plastic panel I had recognized as the same that was being used at kennel. I am over a $1000 in vet bills thus far. They were made aware of this and have not called to check on my dog or even return my phone calls. All we required was honesty of the stay and compassion.Had we known what happened the day of his stay he would have went to vet that day. Instead he could have had died from the plastic piece according to my vet. My Vet could not believe he was able to vomit such a large piece up. I mean after being made aware of what happened still no calls? I am submitting this post so other dog owners can make an informed decision and not have to go through this.
The owner is extremely nice and professional. She showed me the entire facility, and I was very impressed with the cleanliness of everything. The dogs that are there were very happy, and I had no question about taking my dog there. He was in such a good mood when I took him back, like a kid seeing his friends again. If you ever want a clean, fun, professional place to take your pup to, take him/her here to Canine Cove! You won't be sorry!!!
I cannot say enough great things about this business! It is so hard to find people that you can trust to care for your dogs. Each time we drop ours off at Canine Cove we are so confident that they will have the best time with the best care. This gives us such great peace of mind and we are able to relax and enjoy our time away instead of worrying. We love getting videos of our dogs playing and running around, and when we come to pick them up they are happy and well groomed. Sometimes I think they don’t even want to leave! Canine Cove Pet Resort is, without reservation, the best dog boarding facility anywhere and we couldn’t be more grateful for their dependable and caring staff!
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! The staff is so great with the dogs and it's CLEAN! They actually do interact with the pets and make them feel loved. Highly recommend.
Took my dog there today for a few hours since having work done at home they were close to where I live and they kept him outside in the pouring rain😡. Who are the owners now he went there one other time few years ago and was told that when weather is bad they put them in a room to the right of the desk. When I tried to pick him up today it was their lunch time and door was locked I kept knocking but they would not answer I was livid and reported this to Police. When I picked him up and said how angry I was they said then why did I bring him this is no way to run a dog care center they will not see me again and will continue to take him to The Dog Stop in Boardman where there are Video Cams that you can view them in daycare and is a very loving environment .
I took my dog there. Was a very clean proffessional happy atmosphere. Very professional with a wonderful pleasant staff. Ownwer came out and showed me everything they had to offer and took the time to answer any questions i had. Would def reccommend thisplace for your pets. Very resonable rates
What a great job the ladies do! I never worry about how my babies are treated while boarding or grooming. They love pups here. Always busy so prepare ahead for booking appointments.
Pan and her staff are beyond great. She is caring and truly loves animals. She is high spirited and my Doberman , Clyde loves her. When we drop him off to be boarded or groomed he literally bounds into her office and she greats him just as enthusiastically. We are so thankful to have found Pam and would go no where else but Classic Kennels.
Pam and her staff are awesome! My collie loves going to see them. Pam does a fantastic job grooming and her prices are reasonable. My dog loves to be boarded with her. Just a great , clean, friendly place your dog will enjoy! I highly recommend classic kennels.
If you need your fur baby to be well loved, and cared for, look no further. Pam and her staff put all their love into this, and it shows. Animals are so well taken care of, the facility is great. I picked up a dog who was so happy, and so well socialized. I cannot say enough good things. You won't be disappointed if you entrust your dog to their care.
We use them for grooming and nail trimming. The pups always look adorable afterwards. Our dogs are quite the handful but they've handled all of them with grave and a no nonsense attitude! It's amazing how the dogs respond to them!
I took my pug to Classic Kennels on April 24 to get a bath and have her nails clipped. It was the first time I went there and I was grateful they would take her during the COVID-19 shut downs. When I picked up my dog, she was limping slightly on her right rear leg. I just figured maybe a nail was cut a bit too far. She is a handful when she is getting her nails clipped. It is now May 23 and she has continued to favor that leg. I’m not sure what happened but I wish they just would have been up front and mentioned her injury to me so I wouldn’t have wasted all this time waiting to have her seen by the vet. She is no longer able to run and play. We took her to the dog park and just walking around for half an hour had her almost unable to walk through the house to her bed. She has an appointment on June 3rd. I’m certain this will cost me an arm and a leg because of the need for X-rays. I will update after her appointment. No, I haven’t contacted them about this because as I said I was waiting for it to resolve itself. I will once she sees the vet.
The best home away from home for our boy, Quigley!
Best place to take your pets. And Amy would does the grooming, works wonder with my two cats.
Large kennels, friendly dog loving staff. Great prices. The groomer on site does a wonderful job.
First time ever sending my dog to a kennel for the weekend and he's six little chihuahua and it broke my heart but let me tell you something was fantastic with him and I would recommend them to anybody
Our puppy learned so much during her training at the Proper Pet. She is still an energetic puppy, but she listens and follows commands, and is now a pleasure to take in walks! It would have taken us months to accomplish what The Proper Pet did in 3 short weeks! We are forever grateful.
We hired Propper Pet to help with our 2 year old lab mix. She is a great dog with people she knows but strangers receive growls, hair standing up and lots of barking. We were concerned she would eventually bite someone. Propper Pet worked with her to gain confidence and help her understand that no everyone was a threat. They did a great job not only working with the dog but giving us the skills to continue her training. They were available for any questions we had. I would definitely use them again.
Rozlynn is amazing to work with! Our puppy learned so much and absolutely loved her! She was incredibly helpful in teaching us how to work with our dog properly and explained everything very clearly. If you are looking for a dog trainer that is professional, kind, loving and fun! Propper Pet is the way to go!
Our family is so thankful to have brought Rozlynn in to help us with our new dog! Rozlynn is kind, proactive, thorough, and tailors each session to the individual dog and owner. She is extremely knowledgeable and well versed in her field and explained each step of what she was doing during our training session. I feel very excited to work towards the goals of growing my dog’s confidence thanks to the tools Propper Pet provided us with.
Maddie at Propper Pet took care of my 10 animals, which included 7 cats, 1 dog, and 2 goats, for four days, and the care she gave all of them was the best pet care I’ve ever experienced. She was kind, patient, responsible, totally dependable, and so sweet and caring. She updated me 3 times per day with notes and pictures of my pets, allowing me to be worry free and relaxed on my trip. I highly recommend this company, and Maddie in particular, for any of your pet care needs!
If you're going to put your trust in someone to love, care for, and support your dog, look no further than Propper Pet. Rozlynn is friendly and very passionate about dogs, and her knowledge can help train even the most stubborn learner. She tailors her methods to the individual dog, getting very creative for dogs struggling with a command. She really understands dog behavior and I love how in command she is the entire session. Very thankful to have found Rozlynn, she is family now!
Rozlynn with Propper Pet is amazing. She goes above and beyond to take care of your pups. She always sends me amazing pictures and updates on how the visit went. I can actually tell the pups are sad when we stay home and they don’t get a visit from Rozlynn. No one I would trust more!
My husband and I cannot say enough about Rozlynn and Propper Pet Services. We spoil our dog and so did Rozlynn. Each day we were sent daily up dates with pictures. When we arrived home from vacation our dog was completely content. She was calm and happy. We could tell by our dog’s behavior that Rozlynn was attentive and loving to her. We highly recommend Propper Pet Services!
Hiring Rozlynn was the best decision I’ve ever made for my dog! She was professional, flexible, and I always knew my dog was being taken care of! I had a crazy work schedule and it was comforting having someone I could trust looking in on my dog while I wasn’t home.
We had Roz train our new French bull dog puppy dozer and she did an amazing job with him . I will always trust Propper pets with my animals . If you are in need of dog walking, dog sitting, dog training please look up Roz at Propper pet you will not be disappointed she is worth every penny and she will love and care for your pet like family .
