Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!

Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.

Leslie consistently demonstrated outstanding communication skills, both initially and throughout the entire process, and I would gladly give her more stars if possible. Leslie arrived as scheduled, and instantly the animals fell in love with her and Bennie. Our cats love our dogs but usually won't come in the house when a strange dog is here but they didnt even hesitate to come meet Bennie. Bennie was very calm and a true gentleman. Leslie sent pictures throughout the sit reassuring us the gang were all getting along and enjoying her and Bennie's company. She read through the welcome guide before we left as well as we showed her around. It was very nice getting the chance to know her a bit before we ledt the following morning. We felt very comfortable knowing our home and pets were in good hands. It is very apparent when you meet Leslie that she truly does love animals. When our Molly decided to hide, Leslie called us right away because she feared Molly may have gotten spooked by a firework going off in the neighborhood and escaped under the gate. I felt so bad for Leslie because she blamed herself because it was on her watch. I have trackers on all my pets and it turned out that Molly was still in the house and just hiding really well. She can curl up.pretty small. Lealie took our Lab to check the walking route and see if Molly was there. When I called and told her Molly had to be at the house because her tracker showed her there, she returned to our home and Molly hreeted her as she came in the front door. I was very appreciative of Leslie's phone call though because she didnt wait hours to call, she searched the yard and house and called right away. We decided to cut our trip short a day and asked Leslie if she minded if we came home a day early. We let her know we didnt expect her to leave early and made sure she was comfortable with our decision. As a pet parent, it is imperative that we remember the sitters are also on vacation and we didnt want to intrude on her time. As it turned out, we ended up stopping by the ER on our way home where my husband was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. Unfortunately we had both the RV and my car and I needed to figure out how to get them home. I reached out to Leslie who offerred to give me a ride back to the hospital after I dropped o e vehicle off at home so I could retrieve the second vehicle. BTW, the surgeon was able to repair my hubbys aneurysm and he will be coming home soon. Leslie was a comfort during this frightening time and even stayed an extra day to help out and care for our home and pets. She was a teue blessing. Leslie left the house spotless along with so.e fresh flowers for me when I got back from visiting my husband. If you get an opportunity to host Leslie in your home, rest assured your home and pets will be well loved and well taken care of. We.would welcome.Leslie back anytime. She is not just a pet sitter, she is a new trusted friend.

Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden. The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom. Already scheduled a second sit! If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.

Kate was an excellent house sitter and pet sitter. She was thoughtful, sensitive, and attuned to our cats and the particulars of our house. It was really easy to communicate with her and she was responsible and conscientious about everything. When we came back our cats seemed unfazed by our return which was a great sign and it was obvious that she spent lots of time with them and gave them lots of love. The house was spotless on our return and she even alerted us to a health matter in one of our cats. She sent lots of cute updates and was easy going when we messed up a logistical detail on our end. Gowri was very patient and caring with Irisi who got sick the day before I left. I cannot commend her enough for how she rose to the occasion and took care of my baby. She even pick up meds from the vet. My cat, Squinty, was very comfortable with her to jump in bed and wake her up early in the morning (as he would with me). I am not aware of him doing that to other sitters that have stayed at my place. I would give her 6 stars for Pet care if I can! She updated me with Irisi's condition which really help ease my mind, knowing someone looking after my furry really cared. I would certainly have her back again!

Lake Gaston Dog Boarding came highly recommended by a neighbor and on facebook. We had to leave town for a business trip. We have used another boarding kennel in the past. They were expensive and just OK also they would not let our dogs stay together. This was not the case with LGDB. They were terrific. We booked a double run and the dogs could stay together. Picked them up this morning our dogs were not real excited to see us. I think they really enjoyed their stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely use their services next time we have to leave our dogs behind. Thank you LGDB for taking such good care of our pets.

Our first time boarding EVER! We were so nervous and unsure about leaving the babies. My doodles REALLY loved Lake Gaston Dog Boarding! The staff was really great at communication, providing photos, and asked a lot of questions regarding their care! They made sure to help us (my entire family) feel safe and comfortable leaving our fur babies in their care. Definitely recommend and WILL use them again!

I loved how everything was set up to cater to ANY fur baby. The staff there were the best. We took two babies there for a weekend. They were looking happy an playing. No signs of trauma or abuse. An you know as a fur parent. You can just tell. My babies didn’t want to leave no matter how happy they were to see us. They will be going back. Very soon. I give them 100 stars.
A few years ago we boarded our dog here during an emergency. When we got her back she was obviously ready to go home but was in good shape/health. The employees were very nice and took her on relatively short notice. She's not friendly with other dogs and they said they would keep her segregated from the other dogs. Was impressed.

The absolute best place to send your furry friend!!! Ashley and Connie go above and beyond to make not only the dog but the owner feel welcomed. I’ve been sending my lab to this daycare the past 6 months and it truly is the best place on Lake Gaston. From the themed parties (Valentine’s Day, foam parties, St.Pawties day) and daily pictures on Facebook - I am assured Laney is having the best time and being taken care of while I’m at work.
We have three large dogs (Great Dane, American Bully, Golden Doodle) that we board most weekends during college football season. Without hesitation, they get 5 stars. They have taken such great care of our dogs and the reason I know, is our 120 lb American Bully who has anxiety would resist going in if it weren’t so. He is typically attached to my hip, but when we pull up to Lakeside Boarding and I open the door, he jumps right out and easily allows me to walk him in and hand him over to anyone of the team there. Based on his response to past experiences elsewhere, he was my greatest concern, but that was resolved after the first stay. Highly recommend them.
Today our dog had a wonderful experience at day care. . He was loved , enjoyed much outside time with other dogs running and playing as well as enjoyed his quiet time. He smiled at us all evening! The operation is well run and staff very pleasant and understanding of the dogs needs and style of play.

This place has been a Godsend! My puppy dog Gucci 🐕 is high energy and at one point I wasn't sure if I could provide him with the attention he needs because of work and myself having low energy lol I was thinking about giving him up for adoption. However, my mama found Lakeside and suggested we try it out. Praise God for mama & Lakeside! He started out with 2 days a week then they kept him for a whole week while I was away on vacation. The pictures they take told it all, Gucci was having the time of his life! I didn't worry about him not once. Following that, we were still doing 2 days a week but I noticed Gucci's behavior and overall happiness was 10 times better on days he'd been at daycare. So, I was offered the daycare package to save $ and make pickup quick and easy. Gucci goes to Lakeside now every day I work and most weeks I end up taking him an extra day because he clearly misses his doggie friends as well as Connie and Ashley. I have never seen a dog so happy. He can barely contain himself on the ride to Lakeside and once he sees the Lakeside sign and we're about to turn in the thing loses his mind!🤣 I have to take my seat belt off as we turn in because I can't pull up to the door and park fast enough for him. Lakeside Dog Boarding has my heart ❤️ and I'm so thankful for them! This day and time finding good folks with top tier customer service is rare. Mama Connie and Ashley are kind, caring and truly genuine. Awesome women! It's plain to see they enjoy what they do and it's refreshing 😁 Gucci loves it there so much a couple of times he didn't want to leave with me, darn thing goes back to kennel entryway and sits down looking like, "Mama I'm not done playing! " Please give Lakeside a try, you won't be sorry and it's worth every penny! Mine and Gucci's life is so much better because of this place 💯

Always take both of my fur babies there for everything. The staff there is amazing and really care for the animal's. The ladies at the front desk are very nice and helpful as well. Can't say anything negative about this place.
Had my dog groomed there. The girl was new and she did a fair job but she wasn't cut short enough and it took 4hrs. I understand that she wanted to get to know my dog but she really needs to pick up her pace. I will try again and will be more specific about how short i want her cut.
When my dog went into labor late Saturday afternoon I couldn't get any vets in the area to even answer the phone. No one works weekends or nights in this area. Luckily I had established at Lacrosse Veterinary and got their emergency phone and was able to contact Dr. Jenna Eden's. She went out of her way to help me. She and her staff saved both the mom and the pup. I couldn't have been happier.
Staff very nice and accommodating. Only problem was instructions on sign about what to do upon arrival was not in a good location. Most customers didn't have a clue of their covid procedures. Just need to get sign outside, not stuck on the inside of a window no one looks at
