OMG I worried because my 120 lb Cane Corso mix rescue had fear aggression and insecurities around other people and dogs. She loves this place and they matched her personality so she is able to socialize with other dogs. They are very understanding and tolerant of phone checks. When I pick her up it's like "Oh... It's you ... Hi Mom, is it time to go home, already?"

We loveeee little river! Our pups, Lionel and Daphne, are always so excited to go when I tell them where we are going. They take such good care of our pups and they are the only ones we trust when it comes to daycare and room/board. If I could give them 10 stars here I would!

My dog spent a week here while we were on vacation. She had the best time! The staff at Little River pet resort truly loves dogs and it shows. I felt at ease knowing my dog was outside playing and not cooped up in a kennel all day.

This was our senior dogs 2nd(much longer)visit, and she walked right in. Some places she walks in like she's going to the vet, but she loves it here! She got a lot of 1 on 1 attention from the staff because she's dog selective, and they didn't charge us extra for the seperate 'care' of having to keep her more seperate like the last place we'd take her did. Also they have tons of room for them to run and play, like acres of land with several play yards, if one group of dogs don't work together they work to find one's that do. They're separated by size too, so no worries there.

Professional and well run. I don't feel comfortable leaving my dogs many places, but they are great with them! My dogs like different levels of activity, and they are accommodated well here. You can call to check on your furry friends if you want. There are any add ons to make your dogs stay extra special.

Fantastic place! My dogs are always super happy to come here and are well tired out when I get them. Only ever used the day care. Absolutely loved it. Very reasonable prices.

Without a doubt, the most wonderful place for a dog to be a dog. Happy to know our dog has been going there for over 2 yrs. Place to Run, Roam & engage in enrichment activities but always being cared for properly. Vince & Gina and staff run an amazing place 5 🌟 …

Check in was easy. Pick up was easy. One dog has kennel cough now with suspected bronchopneumonia and a couple small bite wounds from play time I assume. I’ll be leaving the ole emergency vet at 3am with a nice bill due to the concern I had for her obstructive sounding breathing while asleep..

They are very hands-on, lots of play time, and they take care to partner up compatible dogs. My dog is very nervous, so they partner him up with big, calm Labs or similar. He always comes home worn out from all the play.

I am sorry I did not have a good experience with this kennel. I am sure my pet was well taken care of, but I was not. I dropped my pet off and was asked to sign a contract, which I was not given a copy of. I explained that I was flying home, and it would be cutting it close to pick up on Sunday. I was advised that they would list pick up the following day. Unfortunately, they did not tell me that if I was able to pick up on Sunday, they would charge me the additional day, which is exactly what they did. I paid an additional day’s fee for absolutely nothing. I contacted the owner who compared the kennel to The Hilton, that also charges service fees. Really? Enjoy my money. You did not earn it.

Our dog loves to swim, we are always looking for safe places for him to swim. We found Doggie Inn & Lisa last year but it was too late in the season. I made a private play swim with this year and was not disappointed. Lisa explained everything to us and we enjoyed ourself. Admire had a blast swimming, running, playing in the yard and in the pond. Very relaxing and sounded by nature. We will be back.

The staff and facility at The Doggie Inn are awesome! Our dog can't wait to go there and is reluctant to leave. The staff lavish her with love and affection and we know we never have to worry about her health and safety. Communication with the staff is prompt and easy; they go the extra mile when emergencies arise (like a COVID travel delay). It's worth the drive for us to have such a wonderful place for our dog to stay.

Lisa is an amazing person and trainer. She keeps her visitors happy and comfortable and gives them room to run and be safe

The staff at the Doggie Inn is nothing short of fantastic! They are attentive and focused on the needs of my pups. My dogs love staying there, and I feel comfortable traveling knowing that they are being well cared for and staying somewhere that is both safe and fun for them. I have been boarding here for several years and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend Lisa and her staff at the Doggie Inn.

Lisa, Gabby and the team are the best. We have three dogs and were having dog aggression issues with one of them. Lisa put a plan in place and improved things to the point where we did not have re-home one of our pets. When we go out of town, The Doggie Inn is the only place our dogs stay. It's like a home away from home for them....and a vacation! As a trainer Lisa is the best. She has a common sense plan and shows you how to communicate with your dogs, in a way that is easy for you and easy for the dog. It just take repetition. Great people!

Absolutely love The Doggie Inn!!! It’s my Molly’s home away from home. She is so comfortable and happy there. She goes for day play once a week and also boards there. My only complaint is that I think she likes being there at day play more than she likes being home with me!

Lisa and Gabby are absolutely amazing people, and even better trainers. They are patient, realistic, and really take the time to listen to what issues you’re having with your pup. I never had the pleasure of having them work with my pups due to some unforeseen circumstances but Lisa and her team were more than accommodating in aiding with finding another trainer that utilizes the same type of training in my area (long story short, I’m from Alabama). I highly recommend Lisa and her team.

So much can be said about Misty Glen, their “campus” which my dog whimpers over when we start getting close, and a staff of people that consistently make it happen, day after day. I found out just recently that there is a separate pen where they raise two goats, they also have a gaggle of geese (wild), and whatever other wildlife that stops for a visit; perfect for a pack of dogs! I’m a believer that the best bang for your buck is when it involves people who love what they do. The authenticity and attention to every detail, including the safety of your best pal, the elements, which maybe that’s where the term “Misty” comes from: the ‘dog days of summer’ are cooled off by a mist that greets the dogs after they come inside. I think that’s also where Misty earns its idea as a ‘country retreat.’ My dog Booker just spent his first (2) overnights (he’s normally a day-camper) and *they asked me* if I wanted a bath for him—last day obviously—great idea, great service after two days full of running with his buddies. My dog needs a specific food for his tummy (which they remind me to bring) and they make sure to feed and water him. I like when they ask me about his health/food/shots/baths/nails because I’m busy visiting and can easily forget to ask for help and such. I overheard a friend talking about Misty Glen over six years ago when she started her dog there and so I followed suit. I’m really glad I did. *Picture attached: that “doggie-plant” has been growing in the reception area since Booker has been a member! At first I found it silly but now I check on it to see its growth! Details.

My little puppy Benji absolutely loves it there. He goes 4-5 days a week and he has made so many friends. The workers there are the kindest people, always there to welcome Benji with a smile. I also love the pictures they send me of his time there! I highly suggest to anyone wanting a doggy daycare!

Misty Glen is heaven on earth for pups! We are so thankful that our neighbors shared their info with us. Our dog Birdie loves day camp & recently stayed over for about a week. She came home tired, happy, & well cared for! The grooming services are the top notch & the staff is so attentive & kind. They even sent us pictures of her & brief updates while we were away. We cannot recommend Misty Glen enough & are confident that it will be our go to for dog care for years to come!

Misty Glen does such an incredible job taking care of my pup. I have boarded him there many times and the most recent he was there for 11 days and I had zero worries while I was gone. They communicate so well and always send me updates on my pup. He never wants to leave when he’s there. He comes home exhausted because of how much they let him play. The staff are all so friendly and I would never want to board my pup anywhere else. HIGHLY recommend Misty Glen!

Misty Glen is AMAZING. Our dog could not love it more, and neither could we! In fact, the words "Misty Glen" gets him just as excited as the words "walk" and "car." We've boarded Murphy for extended periods of time and we've felt at ease each time knowing our dog would be properly taken care of and treated like one of their own. Thank you to all friendly staff!

This is the best place on earth!! Maddie & Zoe love Misty Glenn they get so excited to go. Everyone there treats the dogs like their own. Our dogs were spending the weekend back in September. They called us to let us know that Maddie didn’t seem like herself. We thought it was her meds that make her sleepy. Come Sunday she really wasn’t good. Without hesitation they rushed her to the animal hospital. The vet discovered Maddie had a huge tumor in her liver and was terribly anemic. The cancer had progressed and we had to say goodbye to Maddie that day. They were so good with Zoe. They made sure she was doing ok without her sister. They played with her and loved on her. We still take Zoe 1-2 times week and she loves it. They send me pictures to let me know that Zoe is so happy when she is there. We love Everyone at Misty Glen!! It was Harvey’s first time spending a few days overnight somewhere, so I was a bit anxious. However, Misty Glen sent me updates and pictures to show just how much fun he was having with the other pups and with the water play. He came home tired and happy💕. Our dogs, Dottie and Angel, love to stay at Misty Glen! They also go to doggie day care there. They always come home smelling great. They enjoy their supervised time in the play areas from the look on their faces in the photos the staff sends us! We have been boarding our dogs there for many years! We would not go anywhere else!

Hi, my name is Murphy. I want to tell you about Misty Glen Country Retreat for dogs. My mom lets me stay here while she is on vacation. I love it here. I play all day with my other canine friends and the handlers. We get to play fetch and sometimes we even have water play. Sometimes as a special treat I get to come for the day and play. Everyone that works here treats me so special, just like my mom does. I heard my mom tell other doggy parents that it is the caring people that work here that made her feel ok with me staying while she is away. Don’t tell my mom, but I barely miss her while I am here. Mom and I rate Misty Glen an A+ in doggy care.

We love Misty Glen and so does our dog Patty. There’s lots of space for the dogs to play outside and they always take great care of our girl. Every time we take her there they welcome her in with “Patty!! We love Patty!” I highly recommend.

The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has plenty of space for the pets to roam and play. They made sure to ask about your dog’s specific needs and preferences, and I was impressed by how attentive and caring they were. It’s clear they treat every pet like their own! I also love how they offer a variety of services, including boarding, grooming, and daycare. It’s so convenient knowing I can rely on them for short-term daycare or extended stays when I’m out of town. Their prices are very reasonable. I have total peace of mind with them. I've been taking my dog for almost a year and still love it. They are never over crowded, and my dog went from being nervous and hiding, to running up to the doors and scratching at it within a few weeks. You can 100% book online, which helps if you have a constantly changing schedule or last minute house repair, and you want your little one out of the way. Prices are fantastic, and the virtual report card at each visit it a great touch.

We love taking our dog, Dougie, to Wright Pet. He is so excited when we pull into the driveway. He loves all of his friends and is so tired when we pick him up. It's a great way to get out all that puppy energy! We always recommend Wright Pet to anyone looking for daycare for their pup.

As a helicopter dog mom I can’t stress enough how thankful I am with the staff of the Wright pet. From booking to pickup the staff was helpful, reassuring, knowledgeable, and caring. My pup boarded for almost a full week and was able to attend daycare during that period. I was able to watch live video of him at day camp and was given the cutest daily report cards. I am so thankful to them caring for my pup so wonderfully. He was all smiles when I picked him up. I was amazing to see him so happy in a new environment. We will be continuing day camp after such a positive experience.

My pup, Murphy, and I have had a great time with The Wright Pet! He has been there for day camp and has boarded with them when I was visiting family a couple months ago. I really appreciated being able to check the day care cameras to check up on him (he might not have separation anxiety, but I sure do!). The staff is great and I was confident that he was in good hands. I am visiting family for Christmas and won't be able to bring Murphy with me, but I can rest easy knowing that the folks at Wright Pet are going to take good care of my baby. Kristen and the rest of the staff are exceptionally attentive when it comes to Murphy and responsive when it comes to any question I might have. I respect their high level of professionalism and the highest level of care that they have given to Murphy. I would recommend them to anyone!

We boarded our pack of 4 for a weekend stay. Very clean facility. The hours for boarding dropoff/pickup are wonderful. The staff was very nice and easy to work with. The owner came to the lobby to introduce himself when we picked them up, which was appreciated. Best of all, our dogs were well cared for. I definitely recommend them and we will be using them in the future.

I love this place. I went on vacation recently and left my dog ciri there. First time leaving her somewhere and was nervous. They assured me they will take good care of her and they did. They provided me updates and there were live cameras and photos also to check up on her. She made so many friends and had fun while she was there.

Boarded our 10 month old Bernedoodle for the first time for a week while on vacation - great experience. Got daily "report cards" as well as photos and could tell she was having a great time not only in her suite at night, but also with the day campers during the day, especially her new friend Captain. Drop off and pick-up was seamless and they had everything ready to go when we arrived on both ends. We both ended up having great vacations. Will be back next time we're heading on vacation and need to board our dog.

I have taken my 2 year old german shepherd here the couple times I have been out of town and have always been happy and he definitely seems to be as well. He is a very nervous doggy and is still getting used to being around other people. I got him untrained and just work with him on my own but the Wright Pet treats us both so kind and my Koda boy doesn't have any problem going which says a lot. Thanks for your gentleness and kindness, staff!

We live four hours from The Barkley and were in town during a stressful period as my spouse was being treated at the Cleveland Clinic. I was looking for a bougie place that felt like a resort than a kennel for my fur babies to stay that was safe and reputable. This place checked all the boxes. Additionally, when I needed to extend their stay, the staff, particularly Susan, could not have been more accommodating. She understood it was a stressful time and I was in a vulnerable position. They went above and beyond. I highly recommend The Barkley.

Our dog, Maya, has anxiety when it comes to being boarded which can make finding the right experience difficult. The Barkley has helped us so much, with their attentive staff making Maya feel right at home. During her stay they provided her with the extra care and attention she needed, easing her anxiety and our worries. Communication was great, with a lot of feedback on Maya's well-being and overall experience with the visit. The Barkley went above and beyond to increase her comfort and happiness. In short, if you're searching for a place where your furry friend's needs are met with care, look no further!

Picked up my dog after 6 days. When they brought him out to the lobby he stood and peed a very full bladder. I then waited 15 minutes while two staff members ran around trying to find my dogs medication. After telling me they’d call me “when it turned up” and realizing I wasn’t leaving without it, it was found. The next day my dog was lethargic and not eating. After a visit to the vet with 104 fever it was determined he picked up some type of infection during his stay. I do not recommend

I am so thrilled with the Barkely, for service, professionalism, and dedication to my puppy’s wellbeing. Susan is a particularly amazing gem at the Barkely. Caring for my Molly Moon isn’t easy, and being able to drop her off with peace of mind for grooming and day care is such a blessing!

The Barkley hotel was absolutely amazing!! The staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating with all my questions and concerns!! I would like to especially thank Linda, Jessica for answering ALL my questions and many concerns!! They were so kind and nice not only to be but to my grand puppy Mina!! I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I put my Rottweiler here while we were on vacation as the reviews were good. They were terrified of the dog even though she is not vicious. They left the dog in the cage while she pooped and peed all over herself and the cage. We watched it on the cameras. I had to call a family member to come rescue her from this so called luxury kennel. Do NOT take your dog here if they have a stigma against them such as a Pitbull, Rottweiler, etc.

My 3 yr. old Border Collie mix stayed in the Barkley Park suite for 10 days. I checked web cam daily and he was fine. Food and water and a rug and a cot for his comfort. He had 3 activity play times, which I wish I could have seen, that I'm pretty sure he enjoyed. He has a lot of energy and they let me know. I trust that everyone there made him feel at home. A bath and a brush on the last day was great. I wish he could tell me all about his stay. He sorta did as he "talks" to me and his tone was very upbeat and chatty. The facility is very clean and friendly staff. He will be back! Thank you for the care and my peace of mind while leaving him behind.

We took our 10 months old puppy here because we were going on a 5 day cruise. The staff was so friendly and caring. We were able to watch our dogs activities on our phone. I highly recommend the Barkley Pet Hotel.

My two dogs seemed happy and clean. Can’t ask for much more than that. The facility was looked outstanding and clean. The staff was helpful. The price was a bit high but I added in extras so I figured that. My dogs didn’t seem as stressed as the last place I took them. Maybe next time I will book them a little pool time.

This is a great spot for boarding, daycamp, & anything in between. The only issue i have is their phone system. There are multiple numbers listed and they all seem to be redirecting to other mailboxes or caller ids making it very confusing & complicated to get in touch with any sort of worker.

I have known Michelle for over 15 years so when choosing someone to watch my fur babies, it was a no brainer. She is so caring, compassionate and a great communicator! I would absolutely recommend her for any of your pet needs! She takes such good care of my 4 babies several times a week. When we lost our petsitter I reached out to several petsitters. Our dogs are family so I needed the very best. Animal Crackers returned my call right away. Michelle connected me with other customers who spoke highly of her to help me feel reassured. From day one Michelle has been professional, prompt, personable, kind and reliable. She watched our two dogs, one of which was an 8 month old puppy, for an 8 day period and did an amazing job! She sent videos and updates daily, even bought the puppy a new toy and picked up extra dog food for us when we were running low. The dogs loved her! We came home to healthy and happy dogs and were able to enjoy our vacation. I would highly recommend her and we will have her care for our dogs again. Thanks Michelle!

I began using Animal Crackers pet sitting services about 3 years ago when my previous service became unavailable & I was so glad I did! Michelle has taken such good care of ALL my cats since. She’s always available to look after my pets whether it be a planned visit or a spur of the moment emergency; she’s always been there! So appreciative of that as well as her reasonable cost. I wouldn’t consider any other pet sitter to look after my furry little kids!

Peanut Butter and Cookie Monster looks forward to their walks with Michelle - it’s the highlight of their day! She genuinely loves animals and maybe I’m biased but it feels like she gives extra love to my pups! Michelle is so kind, compassionate and reliable. We had a lot going on in our family including our little infant and Michelle has been very accommodating to our changing schedules and needs. She’s pretty much part of the family. We have used Michelle to watch our two very shy cats while we've been on vacation. She was conscientious about making sure our kitties were okay and had everything they needed on a daily basis. She remembered what we had told her about our cats' particular food and water requirements and their personalities. Michelle is responsive and very easy to work with. Michelle was a true find. I had to leave for a business trip and my cat wasn’t feeling all that well, she was isolating and not eating. I brought Michelle in for a meet and greet and she assured me my cat would be in good hands and I could leave for my trip with confidence. Each day I got an update and photo as an update and peace of mind. Michelle fed my cat a different diet and mama took well to that. When I got home I changed mamas diet and she had a new lease on life. I would recommend Michelle to anyone looking for a pet sitter and giving your pet some TLC while you’re gone. 5 star treatment!

Michelle, owner of Animal Crackers Pet Care is just amazing. She has been caring for my little dog, Sophie, almost since I brought her home. She is visiting a few times a week to give my little girl a break. I can't express enough how caring she is, and has a genuine love for animals. I feel at ease when I know she is coming to let Sophie out for potty. She is sensitive to my pup's moods and sometimes she plays with her, and sometimes when Sophie feels like cuddling Michelle takes time to just hold her and pet her, never rushing. She is great communicator, sends me pictures and videos and lets me know how my little girl was doing for that day, while I am at work. She is just great, and I trust her completely.

Yes, they are truly animal trainers, who also now own their own boarding business! We shared an amazing relationship when our dogs needed to be boarded. (Yes dogs, because Max got a sister over the years … Madeline!) And when they were being boarded when we went out of town, they weren’t barking the whole time. Instead of barking, they were leaping into the pickup van to go and stay with Drew and Michelle. These trainers treated our pets with so much respect, dignity and kindness… and they will do the same for your animals as well. We love Pet State University! We found them over 10 years ago when we were looking for boarding for our mastiffs. We wanted a positive experience for our dogs while we were on vacation. We found it in Pet state U! A home environment and loving attention. Our dogs get lots human interaction and play with other dog borders. No doggy prison (cement and chain link kennels). Drew and Michele are genuinely good people who are accommodating to special requests and send us lots of photos so we can see our fur babies while we are away! We love pet State University and our dogs do too!

These guys do it all! They train, board, provide daycare and they love your pet(s) like their own. They bring experiences and expertise that you won’t find in other facilities. They are life savers for those pet lovers who are ridiculously picky about who is allowed to take care of their pets.Our Arnie loves going and waits by the door in the morning, just in case…!

As a fellow small local business we are grateful for the care Pet State provides for our mascot Bernadoodle Pepper 🐶 Her pawrents love knowing she is in great care when they are out of town. A side benefit is that Pet State owners are also incredible animal trainers so we are assured our pup will have her training supported and not come like like a toddler who didn’t have to behave for a week 😅

Any time we travel our dogs get a vacation at Drew and Michelle's place. The dogs come home and sleep for a full day because of all the activities they have had.

I adopted an older dog that Ingrid was fostering back in 2016. Given the dog's anxiety issues, I wouldn't trust her with any other border. She cares for your dog as if it were her own...and I live in Canton, which is an hour away!

We leave are babies with Ingrid whenever we go anywhere. She is absolutely wonderful with them We have geriatric Dachshunds. 16, and 13. Very high maintenance. She feeds them just the way we do at home, gives all meds and lives them like we do. They get walks and lots of love

We fondly call the owner Auntie Ingrid as she treats our dogs as her own. She can work with the toughest behavioral issues in a dog, especially dogs that are found abandoned and having many confidence and security issues. Within days or weeks, they are ready for adoption. She is better than "The Dog Whisperer."

This place is charming and homey. The owner is also a dog rescue trainer who works with abused rescues as well as a horsewoman. Her genuine love of animals and good nature are readily apparently. I don't think she spends many moments away from them. Her help is also gentle and loving. The facility is not organized around being pleasing to humans, it is completely dedicated to an animals point of view. Its hard to emotionally trust a loved pet to someone else 's care, especially when they can't talk. This is someone you can TRUST.

Ingrid takes wonderful care of our dogs when we're away. It's like a vacation for them. I would never board anywhere else.
