Annie sat for our cat, Tuna, over a long weekend. She was extremely kind and self-sufficient. When we arrived home, Tuna was relaxed and happy and our apartment was as clean and tidy as we had left it. Annie would be welcome to sit for us again any time, we'd highly recommend her.
I could not have asked for a better first experience with zeewoi! Jordan and Nataki were great at communicating from the very start, and they sent me pictures and updates every day. I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! They also went above and beyond making sure my apartment was tidy for when I got home. So grateful and would definitely be honored for them to sit for me again any time!
Francesco has been taking care of my furry babies and my place while I'm away for well over a year now, and I couldn't appreciate him more. He is a joy to communicate with, and the most reliable person one could hope for. Being able to count on him while I'm traveling makes a world of difference, because I know I don't need to worry about anything while I'm away. Benny and Zumba love him and are very well taken care of. I know because I come home to two very relaxed and happy kitties. I am super grateful to have found Francesco!
Hannah and Joseph were so kind, so communicative, and clean! Kevin seemed so happy in all the photos they sent. Not only did they wash my sheets and towels they used (without my requesting it, simply out of the kindness of their hearts), they ALSO then put my fresh sheets on the bed! 🥹❤️ Such incredible sitters. 10 stars!
Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!
Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.
Gwynn was wonderful! She was super communicative, flexible to come to our house beforehand to get oriented, and attentive to details. She connected with our pup, Scout, immediately and we felt so assured that he would be well cared for with her. We hope Gwynn can come stay again another time!
I was thrilled to have Courtenay as our sitter. We had a few last minute changes and she was very accommodating. She is a very pleasant, well spoken person who bonded very quickly with our dog, Pepe. We were in Europe and Courtenay keep us we’ll informed via internet, pictures and all. We came home to a clean house, a happy pet and a delicious pie she left for us in the refrigerator. You would be very pleased to have her as your sitter. Lucy Hottle
Wendy was great, she kept us updated on the dogs and all the fun she had hiking with them on the mountain. I returned home to a very tidy house. My dogs just loved her. I will definitely have Wendy sit for me again and would be very lucky to have her do a sit for you.
Julian and Susan were amazing, we came home to happy healthy creatures and a clean, tidy home and yard. They communicated with us during our vacation, both about anything unusual and just to let us know when things were going well (as they were the majority of the time). They are very adaptable and capable people, I highly recommend them for your home and pet needs.

Natalie and Christian were dream pet sitters while we were out of the country for 2.5 weeks. From start to finish, they were reliable and professional, with excellent communication. They had took great care of our dog and chickens and left the house and car in great shape. Plus, they’re just a really sweet young couple. We’d highly recommend them as house sitters.
Leslie and Kyle set the bar for all other pet sitters! On the first morning of their stay my cat got out due to a faulty window in my apartment and they handled the situation so well. Leslie sent a text explaining what happened and that my cat had returned safely and she was so calm about the whole thing that it put me at ease for the rest of my trip. Kyle went above and beyond and not only fixed the window screen (he actually fixed two screens during their stay!) but also made sure the window was secure until maintenance could come and fix the issue. Their go with the flow attitude was amazing. I would 100% have them sit for me again! I can not recommend them enough. You would be lucky to have Leslie and Kyle as your sitters :)
Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! We absolutely loved hosting Lisa and Sara and highly recommend them, they are some of the best sitters we have ever had and they're welcome back anytime!!
Tom provided a last minute sit when my 2 week long trip got extended to the 3rd. The previous zeewoi sitter was no longer available for the 3rd week, and Tom came in as a savior. As requested, he started his sit a day prior to the posted dates (thank you for being flexible). He met the prior zeewoi in person, since I was not in town, and got to know the house and cats quickly. He sent pictures of the cats each day and added a note about their well being. He was independent and was able to figure out how to use the litter genie on his own. I returned to a clean home and healthy happy cats. Would love to have Tom return and recommend him to anyone leaving their pets in his care.
Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.
Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. The dogs loved her and the shy kitties came out of greet her mid stay. She left our home immaculate and well cared for. She is truly a winning pet sitter in our eyes! We hope she can come again sometime.
I had the pleasure of having Tracey and her two children as house sitters, and I can't praise them enough for the incredible job they did. From the moment they stepped into our home, it was evident that they were dedicated, caring, and attentive to every detail. First and foremost, Tracey's approach to caring for our house and our beloved pets was nothing short of excellent. She has an innate ability to connect with animals, and it was clear from the daily updates and photos that our pets were happy and thoroughly pampered. The house was kept in immaculate condition, and they treated it with the utmost respect as if it was their own. Moreover, Tracey demonstrated remarkable responsibility and initiative when our AC system unexpectedly broke down. Without hesitation, she arranged for an HVAC company to come and fix the issue, taking time from her day to ensure our home was taken care of. Her willingness to front the repair costs until I could reimburse her was an act of kindness and trust that you rarely see. Tracey and her children's thoughtfulness and thoroughness provided me with peace of mind during my time away, which is priceless. I returned to a home that was just as I left it, if not better. Their stay was characterized by an extraordinary level of care and I was particularly impressed by how they left the house in perfect condition, with happy pets to welcome me back. I wholeheartedly recommend Tracey to any future hosts. Her reliability, compassion, and the ability to handle unexpected situations with grace are commendable. I would welcome Tracey and her children back to house sit in a heartbeat – they are exactly the kind of house sitters that one hopes for on this site! Thank you, Tracey, for everything. You and your children are welcome back anytime!
This was my first time using house sitters and Shanen and Ryan were wonderful. She sent me pictures of Calla and game me updates on Calla’s activities. She would be welcome to pet sit for me anytime!
5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Tyler, THANK YOU for allowing us to enjoy a few nights for the first time in a decade! Dean & Diana Smith
Farhan is a fantastic house sitter! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a down-to-earth, kind, and caring pet sitter for their home. We have three small dogs (around 6 lbs) and he took excellent care of them. They can be a little nervous/ timid around new people, and more so around men at times, but the dogs didn't show any of that nervousness around Farhan! He was gentle and respectful of their space and they warmed up to him immediately. I got a wonderful text the first morning that I was away that they cuddled up with him at night - showing how quickly they adjusted to him as their caretaker. I was able to meet Farhan in person before I left on my trip and I was able to have a wonderful conversation with an ambitious explorer. He is a delightful person. Upon my homecoming the house was very clean and the dogs were happy and relaxed. I can't ask for anything more! Thank you Farhan for taking such wonderful care of our three dogs and our home.

I’ve had great experience with this kennel. I was going on an international trip and needed to get in at the last minute when someone on Rover canceled on me. They stayed late, did everything they could so that my dog could be boarded. I would love to see the facilities, upgraded a bit.
DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE!!! As a favor, I picked up a close friend’s dog yesterday. The dog immediately went to the bathroom as I left the place. I was supposed to leave the dog at my friend’s apartment, but the dog was hyperventilating and I did not feel comfortable leaving the dog alone. I took the dog outside and I have never seen a dog pee so much in my life. I grew up with big dogs and I used to live with my friend’s dog. Within the next 3 hours, the dog needed to go to the bathroom 2 more time. It had appeared that they did NOT take the dog out at all that day. The dog was still hyperventilating after all those potty breaks. I checked her pick up bag to see if she had any food left. She had over half the food my friend sent which indicates THEY DID NOT FEED THE DOG FOR SEVERAL DAYS. The dog was so hungry after I fed her that she was licking the crumbs on the floor. I am very familiar with this dog and that is an abnormal behavior. I am extremely displeased with the dog’s experience. We are still monitoring her for health issues. Based on her behavior and the smell of the boarding facility, it appears she was kept in a cage without food and potty breaks. I have read other reviews that have mentioned this and the place just smells like the pets are sitting in feces all day. UPDATE: I saw the owner responded about the extra the food. I double checked the messages to my friend at the time. I asked how many bags the dog was sent with. After doing the math with the food left over and taking into account extra bags, the dog missed about half her meals. Also responding to the medical advice, I have watched the dog on several occasions and I have never seen the dog act like this. My friend has taken the dog to the vet in the past and this is not related to health issues. The facility did call my friend day of to let her know they did not take the dog out the last day. Honestly, this facility is grossly neglect with dogs….
Pet comes back distressed from this place. I believe the open runs are not for all pets. It’s a basic facility to keep pets for a day or two, if you don’t find any good care.
We've taken our two beagles here twice now! The staff is friendly! The place is clean and bright! They were allowed to kennel together! There was no problem giving meds to one who has a chronic condition. We asked for both group and individual playtime. The second time we took them there one dog was a little grumpy with the playgroup and they were quick to call to advise and we changed to more individual play! They enjoyed their vacation and were happy and chipper! They have groomers if you would like to have them pampered! They came home smelling great! They have a nice play area outside! The owner is our veterinary Dr. Easton, who is awesome! I highly recommend this daycare/hotel!
I had used Dulles Pet Hotel for years and always had a great experience. Somehow after my dogs most recent visit, he returned to me acting strange. He was treating his one foot gingerly and was very mopey and lathergic. I assumed he was just moody from being in the kennel for a few days. After taking him for a run the next day as I always do, I realized he was limping. I dropped off a perfectly healthy dog and got back a limping dog. Nobody at the Pet Hotel had any idea how this happened despite them supposedly providing 3 individual play times each day. They offered a courtesy exam but I was very dissatisfied with the doctor's approach on several aspects. The biggest issue is he insinuated the staff told him my dog regularly jumped against the cages and he probably hurt himself that way. I asked why nobody had ever mentioned this behavior to me before. He said, well not specifically your dog but some dogs. Which was not at all how he framed it at first. Furthermore, upon attempting to investigate the issue with management, I was informed of some issue with something from a previous stay months ago where something was going on with his nails. Nobody had ever communicated this issue to me. Bottom line after years of what I thought was good care of my beloved pet, I have lost any trust in this business caring for my dog. I will never return to this place after this experience!
Worst worst WORST place to bring your pet. First off my dogs were told they would get two group times one for each day of board. They didn’t get either one. When the kid came out to pick up the dogs they threw on the leashes and dragged them inside. Didn’t say hi or ask which one was which or anything. Not friendly and made me worried about leaving them there. ( one of my dogs is a 5 month old puppy) he said he would give them a potty break as an add in. WHAT? They don’t normally get a potty break? When we went to get them picked up they said they were “ too busy” to get their group time. When they handed us the dogs they just threw the leashes at us and forgot the bag I brought with them and had to go find it. The minute the dogs got outside they both peed for what seemed 5 mins straight as if they hadn’t been able to. When I asked to speak to the manager they said to write down my name and number and he would call back. A few hours later that same kid calls back and said the owner was too busy to talk to me and that he said I could get a free group time next time we brought them back. I said “oh we won’t be coming back!” This was so awful. Our oldest dog has been to many many facilities and have had great experiences. We were able to see them on camera and would get check ins. This place has me wondering what happened to them. Makes me so sad I cried on the way home. Please, if you love your pets don’t bring them here!!
What an awesome find! We just moved to VA and had to rely on on-line reviews when looking for a place to board our dog. It is very clear that the employees here love animals and love their jobs. They were extremely professional and friendly. The ladies at the front desk instantly made us feel comfortable and reassured about leaving our dog there for 9 days. When we picked our dog up, we got a frequent boarding card with NO expiration and a free vet examination if we have any concerns in the next 10 days! I highly recommend Dulles Executive Pet Center. I will definitely take our dog here if we should ever have to board him again.
If you love your pets, DO NOT board them with Dulles Pet Hotel. We gave this kennel a shot as our normal boarding facility was full. What a huge mistake. Our dog came home smelling terrible, his bed was lost at first (they didn't know which one was his - even though it has his name on it), and was completely covered in urine and dirt once they found it (stating it just came out of the laundry). The bag we provided with our dogs food and toys was lost, with them saying we don't know which one is yours (even though it is labeled with our name). They simply said, we can't find it, oh and we think your dog ran out of food. So, that's concerning since we packed a couple days extra food. Our dog came home pretty skinny compared to when we left him, and not at all clean. While we could not go in to see the facility due to COVID, we really have to wonder what the inside of the boarding facility looks like. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.
My dog and I both love Dulles Pets Hotel and Daycare— I am confident my dog is getting the best care and playtime! He always leaves happy and it’s a great value too😁 …
A great pet hotel with decent prices for the area. Our dog always comes home absolutely exhausted from all the fun he’s had running around when we are gone. One thing to note is that you have to call when you get to the door and they come out to get the dog. They keep the doors locked so there is no access to the lobby.
Very happy customer since 2019 for our pack of 2. Reliable, flexible, and knowledgeable in managing our Lab and Golden. The staff are professional and trained, not casual people to hang on to other ends of leashes.
Diana was excellent and made our week long absence stress-free for both us and our cats. Communication was clear and we got picture updates every day of how the cats were doing.
Only 5 stars because that is the maximum!! Pat and his team of walkers/sitters provide exceptional customer service and treat my two pups as family. I rest comfortably knowing my pups are in good hands during the day or when we need to be away! Pat is responsive and saved my vacation with last minute scheduling when a family member fell through. You can’t go wrong with EATD and your pups will thank you for it!
Super easy to work with and schedule. We have used them for cat sitting for years. Having a regular sitter who knows our pets and our routine is very comforting. Highly recommend.
We have used Everything and The Dog twice now and both experiences have been fantastic. We have two dogs that are 12 and prefer to be home when we travel. Our dog walker took great care of them and sent us pictures and updates three times a day. Didn't worry at all about them on our trip. I highly recommend them.
I had a great experience with Everything and the Dog for overnight dog sitting. Our sitter, Sonia, messaged me daily with updates and took great care of our pup. I definitely recommend this company!
Very dependable! Great sitters who really care about great service. Not only did they take great care of my elderly cat (following my instructions and giving her medication on schedule); they made sure my plants were still alive when I returned home as well! And even watered my lawn a few times. Thanks 😊 …
We have used Everything and The Dog for almost two years for a variety of services - dog walks, pet sitting in our home, and pet sitting in the sitter's home. During that time, we have had multiple different walkers/sitters, and every one has been excellent. EaTD vets its employees well - they genuinely love animals and are kind and competent with them. Additionally, Pat (the owner) has never said no to a request and has always been able to accommodate our pet walking/sitting needs - even when a broken ankle meant we needed a new walker with only a few days notice! I really can't recommend this company highly enough. And our last walker took super cute pics of our pup!
From start to finish, getting a pet sitter through Everything and The Dog was super easy! Our pet sitter Brandi was absolutely wonderful: super communicative, professional, and gave us peace of mind that our furry family members (and house) were taken care of in our absence. We will definitely be using them again!
Everything and the Dog is great! They helped me out last minute for an extended vacation and my sitter was wonderful with our girls (10yr old cats!) They warmed up to Kathy right away and visited with her which is unusual since they’re pretty shy. She took good care of my home too and watered my outside plants during the heat wave we had at that time! What a helpful person and service! I’ll definitely be using Everything and the Dog again! Thank you Kathy and Pat - 😎
Andrea ( from Woofies ) has taken care of and loved my kitty, Jack, for about two years. I thought he would hide when she arrived each day. I was wrong. After each visit I receive a text with many photos of Jack and a description of how he is doing. This is so helpful and comforting. Jack absolutely loves Andrea. Woofies has been great to work with. It's easy to schedule visits online and I really like that you can schedule different services each day. I believe these folks do everything they can to make your life easier. That's how I feel.
I love Woofies, such an excellent service. We all need help sometimes and it’s too much to burden neighbors. Woofies is super responsive and has some great people to help with my baby dogs. They walk , feed, and stay-over with my 3 dogs when needed.
Woofies is an excellent service. My dog always looks and smells great after each groom. And they let you know of any health issues yet found during grooming so you can have the vet check them out. The only issue is price. But everything has gone up lately. But it's not cheap.
This is the most wonderful company for pet sitting and dog walking! They are flexible and extremely reliable. I have been a customer since 2017 and can recommend it wholeheartedly! Maximus agrees with me!
Extremely friendly and talented staff that provides great service every time. Our pups love their visits to Woofies!
In our opinion, Woofies continues to be the best pet salon in Ashburn. Our little Shih Tzu/Maltese Toby couldn’t be happier with his groomer Sim, who does a terrific job every time. So glad we found Woofies!
Sim at Woofies has been my groomer for years. He is in the trainee program altho I don’t know why. Scarlett always looks wonderful, Sim does exactly what I want, and loves on her a lot.
Misty always gets pampered every time the groomer comes. With her being 11 years old; he makes sure she's comfortable
My husband and I absolutely love Woofies! They have helped us out in a crunch and are always reliable. The sitters take such good care of our pup and we are always comfortable with the people they employ! Cannot recommend them enough!
Woofie's dog walkers have been doing a fantastic job taking my elderly dogs for walks during the day for the last four years. I'd strongly recommend to anyone needing that service.
I really wanted to love this place. You can tell their team genuinely cares about the dogs; every single time, they know every dog's name that walks through the door. The personal touch is evident, and the daily report cards they sent were a delightful touch. It was so much fun to read about my dogs' activities and see the photos they included. These little updates really made me feel connected to my pets while they were away from home. However, I was a bit disappointed with a few aspects of our experience. We had asked on two separate occasions prior to our dogs stay for our dogs to be fed separately. Unfortunately, this request was not honored. We had to call once we saw on the camera that they were being fed together. This oversight was concerning, as one of our dogs will consistently eat my other dog’s food, and feeding them separately was important for their health and well-being. Additionally, during this visit, one of my dogs became really sick. She is fully vaccinated, so I’m not sure what happened. I understand that illnesses can happen, but what was particularly disappointing was the lack of follow-up from the facility. There was no call to check on how she was doing after we picked her up, which would have been appreciated given the circumstances. While I appreciate the team's evident care and the effort they put into making the dogs feel welcome and loved, these issues affected our overall experience. Proper communication and follow-through on specific requests are crucial for pet owners' peace of mind. I hope these areas can be improved because the potential for this place to be truly wonderful is there. With some adjustments, I believe they can provide an even better experience for both the pets and their owners.
This place has been fabulous so far. I called this morning at 7:15AM in a bind: last minute work trip and my established boarding facility hadn’t responded to calls, texts, portal requests or carrier pigeons sent since Saturday afternoon. Not only did Club K-9 answer the phone immediately, but they answered my million and one questions, confirmed availability, slotted him in for a same-day playgroup evaluation, AND gave me a complete tour of the building. That’s right, at Club K-9 you can see the food prep kitchen, the grooming area, all boarding options (blue, gold, and club suites), and play areas. You can also see it all virtually through their website’s virtual tour, but it was so reassuring to see that the in-person experience matched the online view. Everything is SO CLEAN, not a whiff of the urine smell I’ve come to expect at boarding facilities. And the staff were lovely and sat down with my 80lb GSD “Peanut” and I to do his intake questionnaire, I didn’t feel at all rushed through the check in process. And they respected Peanut’s introversion and let him sniff and get comfy before handling him. My experience so far is limited to drop-off, but I’ll update this review once Peanut’s vacation is done! Thanks so much for helping us out Club K-9!! UPDATE: If I could give 6 stars, I would. I picked up Peanut this morning after his week long stay at Club K9: he was happy, sleepy, a bit dirty (he romped in the yard every day and I was a derp and didn’t request a bath), but not kennel-smelly! A bit of a wipe down with puppy wipes and a good brushing and he was good to go! They followed feeding instructions perfectly (I have exactly the right amount of food left in his bins), and even took great care of a couple of hot spots he had when I dropped him off, both of which are nearly healed now. Peanut will be a regular weekly daycare attendee and we’ve already booked his December stay. This place is fantastic!
My pup, Kaleb, goes to club k-9 usually 1-2 days a week for daycare and absolutely LOVES it. The whole facility is very nice and clean (doesn't smell like pee!). I love that let the dogs play outside when its nice out and they put out fun toys. All the employees are super friendly and nice. They send report cards and picture of your dog at every visit. Kaleb comes home absolutely exhausted every time!!
We absolutely love bringing our pup to Club K-9! He adores all of the staff and the other dogs. He has never been more comfortable at a day care during the day, and comes home sufficiently tired but not stressed. The facilities are incredible and we are thrilled to have Club K-9 as our preferred doggie day care option!
My puppy Bella loves coming here. I appreciate that she is able to play outside when the weather is not too hot, and can play with her friends in the “playpen.” Also, I enjoy watching her on the webcam. Attached is a picture of her playing with her friends in the playpen. She is the lemon beagle to the right.
This place is amazing. It's a brand new facility and I was able to get a sneak peek before the doors opened. Heather, who manages Club-K9 did a fantastic job explaining to me the current and future operations. They have four separate tiers of boarding. We got the Gold rooms for our pups because it's perfect size for two smaller dogs to stay together in. They have so many amenities for the pups it's crazy! Indoor track with a three separate play pens in the middle! They also have an outdoor dog run for good weather days! The Club Suites we're absolutely incredible, with a TV, lounge chair and plenty of space for each pup. I might pick the Club Suites for the next pup vacation because it was like being at home. They do grooming and have trainers there as well. The main take away is that it's extremely clean, open and family like. I don't feel like I took my family to a jail cell. You should swing by and get a tour!
Club-K9 is the only place I will take my dog. The facility is exceptionally clean and bright and my dog has the best time when there. The staff is amazing and you can tell they all genuinely love and care about dogs. Your dog will be all smiles ... after they wake up, of course. You won't be disappointed!
Three stars for the kind and professional employees here when I left my dog for a few days during holiday season. However, I do not plan to bring him back here. When I picked him up and took him home after his first stay at club k9, I noticed his urine was much much darker than usual-they must have not let my dog drink enough water. My dog likes to drink small amounts here and there and graze on food throughout the day. Also, I left 4 days worth of food for my dog there and he only stayed three days, however club k9 must have thrown away the rest of his food before they handed dog and belongings back to me. It would have been nice if they handed any unused kibble back to me, that stuff is not cheap. I will end on a positive by mentioning that club k9 emailed me a free daily report and photos of my dog during the stay.
Hands down the best doggie day care we've visited! It is so obvious how much the staff care about the pups, they know us by name and always greet my little man with hugs and excitement. The facility is amazingly clean and I have no concerns over health /safety for the dogs. Unlike other facilities, the staff actually play with the dogs instead of standing around watching them. My dog comes home exhausted, with a huge smile on his face, every single time. 100% recommend!
Our dog Makko had the privilege of being the first guest! We travel often and have tried a few daycare/boarding facilities, this by far is the best in NoVA! The communication with Heather and her team was excellent. Not only was Makko in good spirits when we picked him up, but he smelled good from his spa day as well. 5-star experience and we will be regulars!
Hollie was amazing! She took such great care of our 3 cats while we were away, and sent us pictures and videos at each visit. They loved her! While it’s always hard for us to leave them, we felt so at ease knowing they were in such good hands and being so well taken care of while we were gone. We will definitely book Hollie again in the future
Hollie took great care of our puppy. She is reliable, responsive to inquiries, open and upfront, easy going but professional, and she keeps a very comfortable and safe home for us to leave our puppy at. Thank you, Hollie!
Now a days you can’t really rely on too many places to give your pet the loving experience they deserve and get daily from their owner. I’m fortunate enough to have found a home away from home for my dog, Harley, with Peachy Pups. Not only was he well taken care of, loved, and groomed he almost didn’t want to come home! Peachy Pups LLC was organized, professional, and very attentive with any questions I had, they answered. I will continue so long as I have a dog or any future pets go through Peachy Pups. It was a pleasure! Highly recommended! 🐶
Hollie is awesome and my #1 go to. I am VERY picky when it comes to people watching and walking my pets. Other than family, Hollie is the only person I fully trust with my pets. She’s watched my dog a few times now, I have a pomsky which melo is more like a mini husky so about 35/40lbs and lots of energy. We also have a kitten/cat that she was watched multiple times for us in the past. Hollie has a true love for animals. Go with Hollie she’s the best, you won’t regret it(:
Hollie is amazing with dogs. My pup gets so excited when she visits and Hollie treats her as her own. She truly has a passion for pets! I highly recommend.
As a dog mom I am always super anxious leaving my dog with anyone else! Hollie did an amazing job with my super hyper active pup who also happens to have separation anxiety! She is well experienced and kept me updated throughout the day on how everything was going. I would highly recommend this business to anyone who is need of care for their dogs!
Peachy Pups is phenomenal! Hollie is reliable, affordable and so so good with our dog. If you want someone that will love your pet like it is their own, call Peachy Pets.
Hollie is literally the best! Both of my dogs absolutely love her. I have and will continue to recommend Hollie & Peach Pups to everyone I know 😄 …
I love the level of service and quality of care she providers for my first baby. I’m always left feeling at ease when I need to leave Xena with her. She’s always my first and only choice when caring for my fur baby when I’m out of town. Highly recommended!
Hollie is the best with our dog! I wouldn’t leave my baby with anyone else but her! I recommend her to anyone with a fur baby.
I recently entrusted Happy Hearts and Paws with the care of my beloved dog, Riggs, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff at Happy Hearts and Paws exude professionalism and a genuine love for animals that is truly heartwarming. Riggs absolutely adores them, and it's clear that they go above and beyond. I can leave Riggs with Happy Hearts and Paws feeling completely at ease, knowing that he is not only receiving top-notch care but also plenty of love and attention. I highly recommend Happy Hearts and Paws to any pet owner. Thank you, Happy Hearts and Paws, for providing such exceptional care and comfort for Riggs!
We had the hardest time finding a trustworthy and reliable pet sitter. Rebekah at Happy Hearts N Paws came HIGHLY recommended. After long discussions we decided to give it a shot and have Rebekah come meet our fur baby. We warned her that our dog is highly reactive and we had lots of bad experiences with other sitters. She took the task at hand and ran with it. She was absolutely a miracle worker and dog whisperer! Our dog immediately took to her. She has the best communication with us Rand was there to answer any and all concerns. Rebekah went above and beyond when at our home by making sure our home was clean, mail and packages always brought in, and so much more! We can’t thank her enough for taking care of our baby and home all while keeping us in the know and up to date with photos, videos, and great descriptions of the goings on. This experience was the best we could hope for and we are more than happy to recommend her highly!
Rebekah has been amazing! She responds quickly and professionally. Rebekah is very detailed and always respects my home when she house/cat sits for me. My two kitties absolutely love her! If you need a professional and loving person to care for your pets Happy Hearts N Paws is the one for you!
Happy Hearts N Paws and Nanke were great with caring for both of our dogs over a weekend. One of our dogs was very apprehensive about a stranger entering our home but Nanke worked with her over several days, so that our dog felt very comfortable by the third visit. On an administrative note their scheduling and payment app is fantastic. I would highly recommend Happy Hearts N Paws for dog walking and in home pet care. Thank you!
The absolute BEST! Julia went above and beyond to make sure our pup was comfortable and happy. All of our kitties loved seeing her and Julia sent me adorable photos and updates. It was so wonderful to know that all of our fur babies were taken care of by such an amazingly sweet, professional and trustworthy. 10 out of 10 Stars!
Booked for a cat sitting service for a few days and everything was wonderful! I received an update and pictures for every visit, instructions were followed perfectly, and I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing my fur babies were very well taken care of. HIGHLY recommend this business!!
Rebekah took excellent overnight and daytime care of our two labs - a puppy and a senior dog, both with unique needs. She was warm and loving to our guys, kept them engaged and active while we were away and took wonderful care of our home in our absence. Recommend highly!!
Rebekah is incredible and took amazing care of our cat! She gave us the much needed peace of mind while we were out of the country. We got daily messages and pictures and we didn't have to worry for a single second. I will continue to work with Happy Hearts 'n Paws and recommend them wholeheartedly!
Julia is simply the best pet sitter that I ever had. She always sends me pictures of my kitties when she is watching them. Gives them their ashtma medicine and makes sure that they are entertained by playing with them. My cats love her!
We were very hesitant to leave our anxious and nervous, yet very loving Aussie! Because of how I described our dog (Happy), Julia (one of the owners) insisted on taking Happy vs. having someone else in the company do so. From the daily texts and photos and otherwise, I could tell that she and her family cared for Happy as if he were theirs for 7 nights. Having only ever left Happy with family and friends, I am thrilled to have this reliable and loving option when we need it. Grateful for our neighbor who recommended them!
Jessica is truly a professional, and we feel so lucky to have found her! Every visit, she goes above and beyond, not just grooming him to perfection but making sure he’s comfortable and happy throughout the process. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it shows in every little detail. My dog always comes home looking wonderful, and smelling great. If you’re looking for a groomer who will treat your dog with the same care and attention you would, Jessica is the one. We highly recommend her.
This was Wylie and Luna’s 1st stay at Healthy Hounds. The staff was amazing at responding to questions during their stay. Luna got extra attention on her birthday. Wylie has been to dog parks but not a daycare situation and they were great about easing him into that environment. This will definitely be our go to place for all of our grooming and boarding needs
We’ve been going to Healthy Hounds for grooming with Tonya since we adopted our cockapoo last year. I love that we have a set appointment, we know who the groomer is and they text us for pickup when he’s done. Some places let others cut in line for $, don’t honor appt times, leave the dog in crates for hours, and you never know who’s going to be the groomer. Chase is done in 90 minutes, always looks fantastic and isn’t stressed out! Now, if I could just keep him from playing in the mud for a week!
I don’t think 5 stars is enough! Healthy Hounds is amazing! I recommend it to everyone! My dog and my mom’s dog feel so comfortable with the front desk staff and the groomers (Jessica and Sunny). Cooper comes here from doggie day care and loves it more than being at his “grandmas” house.
We have taken our dog to Healthy Hounds in Sterling for a few years now. He is almost 15 years old and requires gentle handling and some assistance to move. Our dog is very comfortable there, and we know he is treated very well. Tonya and the entire team always talk with us about his cut and any concerns we might have before they start grooming. He is happy to go in and very happy and handsome when he comes out. Our dog has been groomed by every groomer there and he always looks great when they are done. The front office staff is also very efficient and pleasant to deal with and everyone I have met dropping their pets for daycare are genuinely pleased and grateful for the care their pets receive. This is truly a happy place! We recommend Healthy Hounds above all others in the area for quality, consistency, and care for your pet.
It took us 6 years to find the perfect groomer for our doodle Carl and I'm so thankful for Healthy Hounds! Before Tonya, my stomach would be in knots picking up Carl from his grooming, never knowing what to expect - but that never happens at Healthy Hounds. Tonya makes Carl look perfect every time, exactly what we want and asked for. She is kind, friendly, listens and is incredibly skilled. The entire staff is delightful and I've never been to a facility where the dogs seemed genuinely happy to be there. I cannot recommend this place enough!
We had Jessica groom our golden doodle and asked for a specific cut. Jessica was very attentive to details and Jade came out looking gorgeous. It was easy to drop off and pick her up in a timely manner. Excellent groom and we will be back. Thank you for providing us with such good service.
Shelby was slow to warm up to daycare but she now LOVES to go!! Her tail/butt wag as we approach the Healthy Hound facility and she seems very happy when we pick her up. She loves the staff and has met some playmates. It is so nice to know our girl is having a fun day when we're not with her.
We have been going to Healthy Hound in Sterling for grooming services for over 3 years and we love it. Everyone who works there is friendly and approachable. My 50lb dog is groomed there every 8 weeks or so and I am happy every time. They remember the details of the previous cuts , the groomer talks to me ahead of time to make sure she knows what I want, and they are super sweet with my dog. I would highly recommend Healthy Hound if you are looking for a new place to get your dog groomed.
Healthy Hound's groomers and staff are THE BEST! They always do an amazing job and our pup is always so happy and fresh when we pick him up. He gets the best treatment and can play with other pups while waiting to be picked up. Highly recommend them!
They take great care of our corgis that come here. 4/5 stars only because there seems to be a lot of discrepancy between pricing depending on who you talk to about boarding and what is included. We boarded our dogs and requested daycare everyday but when I checked the next day on the cameras they were not in there. Turns out although they said they were adding it they mistakenly did not. While they did apologize I still feel terrible my dogs spent all day in their kennel rather than getting their energy out as we had wanted. Otherwise the rest of the visit was great and our corgis seemed very content when we picked them up.
We have been bringing our dog, Ellie, here for about a year. She seems to be well treated and there are a bunch of add-ons available to her stays that we take advantage of so she can play. The staff is always very nice. They do get busy at the pick up/drop off start times.
I want to write about my experience with Olde Towne’s training packages. First the positive. The new trainer Lauren is wonderful and genuinely cares about training my puppy. She is very communicative and helpful with tips on how to deal with different situations. We had signed a package of 10 day training sessions and 3 private sessions and she took over when we were about halfway through the package, and the difference between her approach and the previous was immediately obvious. Now the negative. I would highly recommend asking questions about the training packages because what they do not tell you upfront is that when you sign up for a half hour day training ssssion, you also have to do day boarding at $40. So you end up having your dog there for about 4 hours each time. This may work for some people but not for me – I drive half an hour there and have to hang around for 4 hours when all I wanted was a half hour session for my puppy to train. I would not have signed up with them if I had known this was their company policy; they never told me this when I signed up. I don’t care to go into the details of my very unpleasant experience trying to resolve this with the front office staff – it was clear they were not interested in coming up with a reasonable solution to my problem and instead took a very monetary approach that totally disregarded what was best for my dog. I don’t suppose they care that they have lost a customer that they would otherwise have had despite the distance and time involved for me. But I question the approach of this company – that they care less about the animals and owners and more about keeping to their “company policy” tells me that I’m better off taking my dog somewhere else. I would give Lauren 5 stars but Olde Towne gets one star.
I boarded my puppy in one of their LUXURY SUITES with a window, tv, and webcam for one night at $125. I brought her portioned and labeled kibbles, treats and a chewy stick. This is what happened: 4:24am - I started watching the webcam while away on a trip. 4:51am - Someone refilled her food bowl and left. 6:17am - She was taken out - potty break?! 6:23am - Someone cleaned the room, changed water bowl and TOOK HER FOOD BOWL AWAY. 6:26am - She was brought back in. But what about her food? So I kept watching….. 9:01am - She was taken out 9:17am - She was returned. 9:30am - I called and left a msg to question why her food was taken away. 9:55am - Someone came in to check on her for 5 seconds and left. Still no food. 10:09am - Nina called back to say it’s their “Food Safety Policy” to pick up the bowl after a while. They left her bowl overnight, as seen on webcam, so why the sudden policy? 10:17am - At my request, she was given her chewy stick. 10:21am - A text was sent, voicing my complaint that THEY DO NOT SPEND ANY TIME ON LOVE AND AFFECTION. 12:45pm - Someone literally threw a treat (I provided) in the middle of the room and left. I WATCHED FOR THE NEXT FIVE HOURS ON WEBCAM. My puppy did not get another potty break since 9:17am until she was picked up by my friend at 5:30pm. I spoke to the Executive Director, Devin, the next day. He said “sometimes oversights can happen” and their staff “logged in” to say she was given another potty break. I HAVE SNAPSHOTS AND RECORDINGS OF WEBCAM WITH TIME STAMP of when their staff entered and exited the room. When I finally asked him “what exactly did I pay $125 for?” He said “someone is on site 24-7 and they also have a generator in case of power outages.” Really? Aren’t those required to run a business that board people’s precious pets? I have volunteered for shelters and rescue groups that take far better care of dogs. Over 8 hours without a potty break is inexcusable negligence. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS AGAIN and I recommend people to diligently check on their pets on webcam if they still choose to board their pets there.
Their new trainer is incredible! My dog is reactive with other dogs and rather than generalizing her board and train program, she worked her with other dogs constantly. Lauren also advocated for my dog and I, going above and beyond time and time again. She is a great and frequent communicator. The only reason I go 4 stars is because olde town is very fancy but not super organized. I had mediocre service at the front desk and over the phone. I'm excited to see how my dog develops as I bring her home but I am feeling very optimistic that her work there will be life changing for both of us! So much gratitude!!!
Olde Towne has been a wonderful choice for my kitty when I travel! I first brought her there as a kitten and have continued even though I probably could leave her at home and have someone stop by most of the times I'm gone. They take great care of her, send me pictures, snuggle and play with her, and make me feel totally comfortable while my fur baby is in their hands. My cat has a...large personality...and the staff there never seem to mind that she can be a bit feisty. I highly recommend them!
I started coming here after I has suspicion my dog wasn't being taken care of like he should have at his previous day boarding facility. Every day I pick my dog up they tell me how he did and what time his potty breaks were. The staff is very nice and helpful. Scheduling has been made super easy. I love all the services they offer (especially the pool). My dog and I have been coming here for about 2 months now and we absolutely love it!
This location has taken great care of my cat for at least a week once a year for the past 3 years. This year they were also very accommodating when I had to extend my cats stay at the last minute. This is a good, safe place for your cat with solid service.
We took a week-long trip, but could not take our cat with us. Old Towne Pet Resort was not the closest boarding location to our home, but they came highly recommended and their pricing and policies were reasonable. I’m glad we chose them. The cattery was in high demand, so we didn’t get the exact type of unit (with a window and camera) we wanted, but their staff were helpful in suggesting an alternative which actually saved us a little money. They took great care of our cat, sent photos, made sure he played with others, and even organized a nail trimming spa day. The location is easy to access and the space is amazingly large and inviting.
George has been an incredible groomer. I just heard did he left Olde Town, does anyone know if he went to another shop? Does anyone know where he went? 1/21/2023 update: we miss George, but we had Betty groomed out dog and sh did such a great job. See nice picture that Betty took on the grooming table.
I found this company when I moved to NOVA. I have to say how wonderful they have been both the owners and my sitter! Karen my sitter is amazing , detailed and notices everything about our cats. She keeps us well informed about how the gang of 5 are doing. I highly recommend All Friends Pet Care. It’s a local gem!
Amazing care! We’ve used AFPC since 2016 and always had amazing experience, we totally trust them to walk our dog, and pet sit when out of town. Highly recommend! My family has been longtime fans of AFPC, and have received great care for our pup (Kai) and cat (Hoku). WE've really appreciated the safe, reliable services including daily dog walking, pet sitting, and pet transport as well - since 2016! 5 stars, highly recommend. Our pets love their sitters/walkers and we do too!
We've worked with All Friends for several years and have enjoyed nothing less than stellar and kind service for our cats and dogs. The communication with the staff and sitters has been terrific and I always feel confident that the team will give our pets the best care and attention.
We've been with All Friends Pet care for so long now that we couldn't even think about considering any other service. They are compassionate, caring, focused, reliable, and truly give us confidence that our fur babies are in the best hands possible whenever we need them.
I've been using All Friends Pet Care for 3 or 4 years. Pam and Beth who run it are amazing. Fast, responsive, and intelligent. The dog walkers I've had are all 5 star. The online portal makes booking easy. And the dog walkers send reports every time they walk my dog so I know it's been done and that my dog is fine. I recommend All Friends Pet Care very strongly!
I RARELY write reviews. In fact, this may be my second review ever. However, All Friends Pet Care is that good, and I want to applaud the quality of this small business and the compassion of the owners, particularly during the pandemic. All Friends Pet Care does not miss a beat when caring for your animal— they are timely, communicative, and above all else, truly loving towards that special member of your family. They make every effort to accommodate you and your pet, even on short notice. I can tell from the photos they send, that Daisy Mae is happy and at ease when they are there to help. It puts my mind at ease knowing there is a reliable service to assist Daisy Mae when we cannot. I cannot recommend All Friends Pet Care more.
I highly trust All Friends Pet Care with my dogs. The owners partner you with a regular dog walker so you have a consistent service for your pets. I have been very happy with the communication and service. The portal they use is tremendous and gives you a ton of information through an app, including a GPS route of where your dog walker goes each day.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! A raving Google review will not even begin to adequately express the wonders of All Friends Pet Care, but I'll do my best. I switched to All Friends Pet Care when my previous dog walker was not working out. My dog is nervous with strangers and the walkers at AFPC were extremely understanding, they were all very patient with my pup and some of the best people he has ever been around, he quickly warmed up to them. AFPC truly cares about it's clients above all else and this is evident in every aspect of their business, from initial contact, scheduling, billing, walking/sitting your pets, providing updates and communication! They use Time to Pet which is a pet sitting software that allows you to see exactly when your pet walker/sitter checked in to see your pet, when they checked out, a map of where they walked, pictures and a summary of the visit. Not to mention Time to Pet makes payment and scheduling super easy. Beth and Pam, the owners of AFPC are the most lovely people and will address all of your concerns and questions themselves, not to mention in a very timely manner. I am very protective of my pup and I felt 100% at ease knowing AFPC was taking great care of my boy while I'm away. Thanks AFPC!!!
We have used All Friends for over 10 years for our pet sitting and dog walking needs. Owners Pam and Beth and their entire team are so customer-focused that we've never had to worry if our pets will be well cared for. It's as though our pets were their own.
Beware of this company’s policy on the NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT. I used All Friends Pet Care one time before COVID hit. My one experience was good, but my second reservation cost me $396 for a cancellation made five weeks in advance. I made a reservation with All Friends Pet Care in April 2021 for Dec 11-23, 2021 vacation, which I had to cancel on Nov 4 due to my cruise getting cancelled. The 50% deposit was entirely non-refundable due to their non-refund policy which states: ***Please note our reservation policy: ALL reservations totaling $200 or more will be charged a non-refundable deposit equaling 50% of the job total in order to confirm the reservation.*** I submitted a complaint and Pam, one of the owners, called to tell me they are a small business, and this is what they have to do to stay in business. I also learned that All Friends Pet Care paid the pet sitter for the reservation even though it was cancelled over a month in advance and probably was backfilled with a new reservation. Perhaps this is creating their financial issues. I appreciate what it takes to be a small business, but this policy is excessive when compared to the competition and has cost them what would have been a repeat client. I have yet to find a cancellation policy so restrictive with any of their competitors and there are a lot of options available. (An example of the refund policy of a comparable pet sitting service: “Pet Sitting Visits: A cancellation fee of $25 will apply to all reservations cancelled within four days of the start date.”) If you are making a reservation which has even the remote possibility of getting cancelled for any reason whatsoever, I strongly recommend another service provider. Do your research and if possible, find other options for reservations that exceed $200 a booking and, if you still choose to book with All Friends Pet Care, I would not book way in advance as I did, as there is not a benefit.
Fetch! Loudon did an excellent job with my puppy Chappy! They were very communicative before, during, and after their visits with him. They took excellent care of him and gave him all the love he needed while we were gone!
I’m so happy I went with this company. The process was so smooth and everything was done thoroughly and professionally. Cynthia was amazing - she came over for a detailed orientation and asked great questions. She was punctual and reliable and spent some real quality time with my two cats. She also provided me with a log of her visit and a cute update along with pictures of my cats. I would recommend this company and Cynthia to anyone!
Really great service and wonderful communication. Really put my mind at ease knowing they were well taken care of. Greatly appreciate the pictures and notes. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my fuzzy babies.
