We would happily have Richard move in! He's a lovely guy to chat to and the dogs immediately loved him. By the time we left sprocket was already lying on him snoring away. We came back to a nice clean house and the dogs had been out for a walk.

No ruff days with me :)
Emmi kindly agreed to come the day before I left which was much appreciated and I was happy to pick her up from the train station. She was a lovely bubbly, friendly person, easy to have in my home. Emmi contacted me once when I was away with a picture of Alfie on a walk and on one other occasion to seek help with feeding Alfie as she had a personal appt that overlapped his evening meal time. I was happy to do this as had offered support like that from sister who lived nearby if she wanted to leave him for longer than the preferred 4-5 hours, something I offer to all my sitters so they can enjoy the local area. Unfortunately she did leave him for longer than I anticipated or my sister would have taken him to her house. I think Emmi struggled with planning ahead travel arrangements to and from Edinburgh perhaps not anticipating how long buses took, though trains half the time but don’t run after midnight. Alfie seemed relaxed around Emmi though I think his walking and feeding routine was not as he was accustomed to. I always tell sitters just to leave the bedding etc as I am happy to do all that when I get home preferring the attention to be on Alfie. Emmi left my home tidy though I would have preferred half eaten food to have been removed from the fridge and maybe the bathroom bin emptied Emmi seemed to have left her packing until the very last minute so was a bit rushed when I got home but we did make it to the train station in time for her onward journey

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

I felt that my dogs were in good hands with Billy & Cherice - both pups seemed happy and well cared for when I returned from my 3-week trip. My home was also clean and tidy. This was my first experience using an unknown sitter and I felt nervous to leave my dogs for so long while traveling abroad. If they were to stay again I would request more regular photo updates, but otherwise was very happy with Billy and Cherice's pet and home care.

Once again, having AnnaMarie take care of our pups was absolutely the right choice!! Her frequent updates, care of our house and fur babies was stellar! Although the dogs were thrilled to see us when we returned, as we chatted with Annemarie, we could see them continuing to go to her for affection and cuddles. It was so sweet to watch our one-year-old lick her ear and Annamarie just giggled and happily tolerated it. What a great sport😎. We would highly recommend her to anyone and would also suggest if you happen to see a less than perfect review for her ( there is only 1)I know the true story... it's unfortunate that some people are so unappreciative of someone who will go out of their way to care for their home and Pets (at no charge🙃🙃)-- it just boggles my mind and am confident they are not being honest! We were lucky to have Andrea back for another sit with our elderly dog and feral cat. She has been wonderful both in the past and on this last sit for a month! We trust her implicitly and are always at ease that our pets will have the most kind and careful attention. She is excellent with videos and communication and very clean and tidy. Early in 2023 I went searching for a sitter to sit with our Lizzie for a month. I found Lori during my search and I am so happy I did. Lori’s reviews are all five star and I can fully attest as to why. Lori was so friendly and kind and I could tell from the moment she met Lizzie that she would take great care of her. I received daily pictures of her and Lizzie snuggling and I couldn’t have been happier knowing my girl was receiving a lot of love. Lori left our home in wonderful shape (probably better than I left it for her). She took great care and was very conscientious of all my plants. We even came home after a very long day of travel to some wonderful chicken soup. Lori will take wonderful care of your home and your precious pet.
