Pet Sitters in Brugge

Line and Hoyt did another extended sit for us. They were dream house sitters as always. (When we returned my son said the house was "better than new," which pretty much sums it up.) Line and Hoyt were a joy to interact with all summer, sent plenty of updates about Zoey, and left the house in terrific shape. They also welcomed us home with an amazing homemade quiche and some sweet Belgian treats to boot. But the best part of all was the love and devotion they showered on Zoey. It could not be more obvious from Zoey's demeanor that she had the summer of her life, swimming in love and attention. Z--who normally dreads our departures and lives for our returns-- moped around for several days after our return looking for her best buds Line and Hoyt to come back. And she was notably more relaxed and well behaved--a summer of getting taken everywhere by Line and Hoyt has made her a much better companion on our outings with the kids. I am so grateful Line and Hoyt agreed to come back this summer to give Zoey the best staycation of her life!

Nancy and Gerard couldn't have been nicer. I was ill and unable to go out of town as planned, and they adjusted to my occasional presence when I was able to drag myself to the kitchen for food. Nancy never failed to ask if I needed anything while they were out. She kindly not only stripped the bed, but put the linens in the washer and got that started for me at the end of the sit. I'm hoping to see them again when they're coming to the Berkshires and I'm my normal self!

Elise is an amazing housesitter! I love to travel but I also love my cat, so only the best care is good enough for her. And that’s exactly what Elise provided. She even went above and beyond my expectations. From the very beginning, communication with Elise was smooth and easy. She was available, approachable, clear, kind, respectful, … in her communication. While I was away, she kept me updated with wonderful messages and pictures of my cat and the apartment, which allowed me to travel with a peaceful and carefree mind. It was clear that she genuinely cared for Ikea, as she took the time to play with her, cuddle her and spend quality time together. I returned to a very happy cat. Ikea even “told” me that Elise took very good care of her. 😻 Elise did also an outstanding job of keeping my apartment in perfect condition! When I returned, everything was spotless and organized, even better than when I left. Elise has an excellent sense of organisation and a talent for making things better, easier, nicer, more cozy, … The little changes she made, gave my apartment a lovely “upgrade”. 😊 She truly went above and beyond, not only by maintaining my place clean and tidy, but also by leaving thoughtful gifts for me. This was a very nice surprise. 🤩 Elise loves to show her kindness, gratitude and love. It was so nice to come home in such a warm atmosphere. 🙏🏻 Describing Elise in a few words: kind, caring, available, warmhearted, respectful, dedicated, friendly, organized, tidy, communicative, responsible, helpful, reliable, funny, … If you are looking for a trustworthy housitter “with extra sparkle”, I highly recommend Elise. Cristel and Michiel are just wonderful and kind. Whilst we were away, they sent us pictures, videos and messages everyday about our pets and kept us up to date with what they were up to. It was so lovely for my young daughters to see that everyone was being cared for and loved. Thank you both so much for everything, we hope you are free to come back to Cambridge again! Jordan was amazing. She gave my boys so much love and wonderful care. She took the time to send me pictures and videos everyday. She had the challenging task of keeping my terrace plants alive when it was 40 degrees day after day. I enjoyed my vacation, knowing with the regular check ins, that everything was going well. It was wonderful coming home to well cared for Persian babies and my house being clean. I highly recommend Jordan. Her communication is excellent. She is simply a wonderful person.

We truly enjoyed meeting Brigitte and Patrick!They were very trustworthy, keeping good care of our home and our cat, Cooper. Brigitte took time while here, to tend to our plants and did a beautiful job. She reached out to us several times when she had questions and we felt comfortable, knowing she was taking an active interest in our home and in caring for Cooper!! We came home after being away for 10 days and our home was very clean and tidy.  We definitely would recommend Brigitte and Patrick as conscientious and reliable house and pet sitters! 

Yoeri and Laurine are lovely people and fantastic pet sitters. We highly recommend them and are so grateful to them for the excellent care they took of our cat, goldfish, plants, and home. They calmly and competently dealt with any issues that arose during their 4 week stay with us, and communicated promptly and clearly. They left our house very clean and tidy, it looked just as we left it. We are so happy they will be back in October to do a second sit for us. 😊🙏

What else is there to say after so many cat sits? The kitties absolutely love Margot and like spending time with her. Our favourite cat sitter and always our first pick :)

Our cats adored Anne Frédérique. Even our Wis, who normally doesn't like to be touched, stayed in the arms of Anne. What a surprise ! We regret a lot that Anne and Luc had to return at home earlier for family reasons because we were so happy to have them in our house. We trusted them completely. Our house was very clean at our return . The cats were very healthy and behaved very normal again.

Christophe was a joy to have sit, and the cats really took to him. They certainly missed him upon our return! Also very clean and tidy - and respectful of our home. We’d definitely have him back again!
