Pet Sitters in Buckhorn

Zach is exceptional this was the second summer he stayed to take care of our cat and home. Our 21 year old cat was well cared for. Zach went beyond our expectations in caring for our cat and sent us photos and videos. Our home and garden were also well cared for. We couldn’t be happier we would highly recommend Zach to anyone.

We had a somewhat last minute need for someone to watch over our house and two feisty Amazon Parrot seniors (no, not that Amazon 😎). Gloria stepped in and did a great job with all! We really appreciate her help and highly recommend her for any sitting needs!!

Bryan was attentive, kind, and took excellent care of my two cats. He got to know the cats, understood their personalities, and was friends with them. He kept them on their routine with meals, time outside, and always made sure they were safe inside by dusk. Bryan sent regular photos and updates on his own initiative. They were informative and always appreciated. He responded to my texts quickly and always kept his word. I returned to the house exactly as I left it. Everything was clean, organized, and tidy. He had taken the time empty the trash, wash the sheets, remove extra food from the fridge, and vacuum the floors. If you have the opportunity to have Bryan sit your pets, do so. Your pets will thank you.

Sage was amazing!!! We would highly recommend her and would welcome her back any time!! I’ll start with our kitties: they were so happy when we returned home and Sage sent frequent videos of them which we really appreciated! She was so self sufficient and great at communicating. One of the things we appreciated the most was how tidy she left the house. It made returning home seamless. She was a pleasure to have and we felt like our home and beloved cats were so well cared for during our long trip. We would love to have her back any time!

Graham and I were very happy to welcome Megan back to take care of our two cats when we went away for 5 weeks. Lizzie and Nigel love her. She keeps them active and playful, and generally takes excellent care of them. We appreciated the updates and photos we received while away. Megan graciously handled visitors, expected and unexpected, who stopped by to raid the veggie garden or just stopped by to say hello or perform a service. Our plants were watered, and the flower gardens still looked good after all that time. I tell house sitters that our priority is to take good care of our cats, in which Megan excels. Everyone has their own standard of cleaning; I leave it up to the sitter as to how much or little to do. For example, it's perfectly fine to leave towels and sheets for me to wash, but we returned to find everything washed. Despite facing a 10 hour drive home, Megan waited until I texted that our plane had landed to take off, after just one more treat session with Nigel and Lizzie. We appreciated the homemade cookies she left to greet us, and other treats left in the freezer. Megan is a responsible, intelligent young woman. We are lucky that she has a job that can be done remotely and is willing to drive long distances to cat sit.

Tatiana was an AMAZING sitter! I could tell she had a warm heart from our first conversation. She loves animals, and did an excellent job caring for my cat. She understood my cats unique needs being newly adopted, and made sure to give the best care possible. When I came home from my trip my apartment was SPOTLESS! It was probably the cleanest it has ever been. Thank you so much Tatiana, and I'd be happy to have you anytime.

Abbi was super sweet and helpful and flexible. We decided to foster an additional cat last minute and she rolled with it and followed our instructions through the introduction process and even shared her expertise. Both cats were happy and well taken care of.

We came home to a clean house and a happy dog! Overall communication was a bit lacking but I also didn’t set proper expectations ahead of time, there was one thing missed in the welcome guide and that was to leave him in the kitchen when gone, he was not boxed in when we got home. But otherwise everything was well taken care of and she arrived and left on time.

Troy was a delight! He took care of everything perfectly and kept communication going. I am planning to have him back right away for my next trip. Can’t recommend better than that!

We were fortunate enough to meet with Monica before we left for our vacation. We showed here around and introduced her to our cats. She bonded so well will all of them! She even had little Sassy on her shoulders which Sassy had never done with either me or my husband! She cared for our 3 cats and watered the plants. She sent updates and photos of the cats. It snowed about 7 inches or so and she shovel the entire driveway! Would I ask her to sit again? YES!
