This was the 2nd time Alan and Marilynne watched my cats for me, and I knew Sylvie and Monet would be in great hands because Alan and Marilynne had been so great the first time! They sent updates and pictures of the cats cuddling with them, and are so friendly they even had dinner with my neighbors one night! Another thing that stood out was how great they were when my cat got sick the night before/morning I left for my trip. I was so worried about the timing, but they assured me they were comfortable with anything they needed to do to help her- they went and got meds for her, kept me updated, and even called the vet when she got sick again. I've been home for several days, but I got a text from them today asking how Sylvie's doing now. These are very kind and caring people, totally trustworthy and do a great job!

We would happily have Richard move in! He's a lovely guy to chat to and the dogs immediately loved him. By the time we left sprocket was already lying on him snoring away. We came back to a nice clean house and the dogs had been out for a walk.

No ruff days with me :)
Emmi kindly agreed to come the day before I left which was much appreciated and I was happy to pick her up from the train station. She was a lovely bubbly, friendly person, easy to have in my home. Emmi contacted me once when I was away with a picture of Alfie on a walk and on one other occasion to seek help with feeding Alfie as she had a personal appt that overlapped his evening meal time. I was happy to do this as had offered support like that from sister who lived nearby if she wanted to leave him for longer than the preferred 4-5 hours, something I offer to all my sitters so they can enjoy the local area. Unfortunately she did leave him for longer than I anticipated or my sister would have taken him to her house. I think Emmi struggled with planning ahead travel arrangements to and from Edinburgh perhaps not anticipating how long buses took, though trains half the time but don’t run after midnight. Alfie seemed relaxed around Emmi though I think his walking and feeding routine was not as he was accustomed to. I always tell sitters just to leave the bedding etc as I am happy to do all that when I get home preferring the attention to be on Alfie. Emmi left my home tidy though I would have preferred half eaten food to have been removed from the fridge and maybe the bathroom bin emptied Emmi seemed to have left her packing until the very last minute so was a bit rushed when I got home but we did make it to the train station in time for her onward journey

This was our first time using a pet or house sitter and the bar set by Leslie is very high! She is warm, friendly, communicative, responsible and very clean. Upon arriving, she immediately bonded with our rat terrier, Oreo, by bringing him a new frisbee (his favorite toy/activity) and throwing it for him in our backyard. Leslie has a sweet and mellow dog, Benny, who is now Oreo's new buddy! She kept my husband and I updated via texts/pictures of their daily activities, our house, and was proactive in asking questions before she left. She even dropped our dog off at the kennel for one night at the end of our trip since our flight was too late for us to get home for him! Our home was clean and had fresh flowers from our garden that she put in vases for us! Such a simple and nice touch! We have asked Leslie to come back to sit for us again for 2 weeks in August. I'd highly recommend her to take care of your pet(s) and home too!

Melissa did an AWESOME job with our 4 pets! Her personal style and communication via text, video, and pics were stellar and super comforting while we were out of town for 2 weeks. She showed up before the sit to go over instructions for the pet care and was even here when we returned (before she left for her next engagement). You would never know this was her first TH sit. She quickly earned our trust, asked for clarification when needed, and overall is just a GREAT PERSON!! Her kindness showed through in the care of each and every one of our furry babies. Janis is absolutely the best pet sitter and home care we have had. She is a regular for us during our Christmas vacation because we totally trust her with the care of our three dogs and the management of our home. She is so good and efficient that I have already requested that she sits for us again next Christmas. Our three dogs absolutely adored her as she played fetch, took them on walks, loved and spoiled them. Management of our home was excellent. I had no concerns whatsoever as we had packages delivered and Mail that needed to be picked up. The house was in much better condition than what we left it.
