I love everything about this organization. I was a former inmate at ORW and had the opportunity to work with so many of the dogs that were trained there. I appreciate the skillset that is given to so many women through this program because not only is it a lucrative trade that easily transfers to the real world once you are released from prison, but it is immensely gratifying to see all the hard work you put into training these dogs until the point of them being placed with their partners and the profound impact it has on their life afterwards. Please, if you can, donate to this cause it greatly affects so many people.

Wow!! Worst place ever!! Went online to sign up for training paid for the beginners training scheduled for July 30th. Never received an email or a call with information. Made several attempts to contact days before the training left messages and on training day left message with no return call. Disappointed, WAIST OF MONEY and time. Thought maybe they had my email wrong but no I received an email stating "Celebrating 25 Years". Not good business and I will be sure to tell everyone I know. Don't trust Circle Tail and take your dog somewhere else

I believe Circle Tail is a wonderful organization, but I wish it placed more emphasis on training service dogs. It seems more focused on finding homes for rescued animals (which is WONDERFUL, that's not a complaint!!!), pet boarding, pet dog training, and on raising funds for new, improved facilities than it does on training and placing service dogs and hearing dogs with individuals who are disabled. I also disagree with its method of boarding dogs. During the day the boarded dogs have free run of safe, secure, large pens that actually are larger than the lawns of some houses; but, this occurs in all "fair weather", without regard to high temperatures. At night, all dogs are kept in airline-crate kennels. They do not have nearly as much space when compared to what is offered by many comparably-priced boarding facilities (some of which have this type of kennel within a larger, "run" area indoors. This may simply be my personal preference, though; I know the dogs are well-cared for, do have plenty of water at all times, are fed appropriately, and I've never met a dissatisfied boarding client. I give it 4/5 stars because I believe if a program advertises itself as service dog training program, as Circle Tail does, it ought to put more effort into that aspect of its operations. Most of the service dogs placed by this school within the last several years seem to be placed either with prior graduates ("successor service dogs") or as in-home service dogs. It is, however, an Assistance Dogs International (ADI)-Accredited Service Dog training program that has extremely high standards and an excellent training staff. The founder of the program is a very skilled, extremely ethical trainer whose love for dogs -- and the people with whom she interacts --is obvious from the moment one meets her. It's definitely a well-run organization and I will continue to support it for as long as it exists. It is difficult even giving it 4 rather than 5 stars, because it is a very good program.

When I tried to filled out an application to get a service dog, I couldn't go into detail about my health issues. The following day, I called their office and the secretary was extremely rude, never emailed me the extension of the application, and said based on my application I wouldn't be eligible (so basically went ahead and determined that I wasn't getting a service dog instead of letting me go through the process). I am so happy I chose a different organization!

Having trained Circle Tail dogs for years, I can assure you, they get the best quality care and training in one of the best state of the art service training centers in Ohio. We help dogs who help people regain freedom, independence, and security.

Great place and a bunch of dedicated people that work there. We adopted our beloved Rossi there just over a month ago after we lost our dog in Feb after 14 years. He is the sweetest dog and have not regretted a minute of having him. Circle Tail answered all my questions and made me feel welcomed to come see them and find Rossi.

Hard working dog trainers. The classes are fun, the dogs love the experiences, and the trainers are very insightful. I recommend CircleTail to everyone who needs to train their dog.

I called today and the lady that answered the phone told I’m order to have a service dog I would need to give up my personal dog that already has the instincts of my ptsd and what they asked me to do is wrong don’t go here if you need a service dog and have a personal pet it was rude for them to ask of that

I've heard that Circle Tail has stopped using shelter dogs for their business. This disappoints me very much. That was what made them special. They saved the animals and provided them with a job that helps people. Please urge Circle Tail to save a shelter dog for you if you are looking for a service dog.

I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate everyone at LaBark for take exceptional care of Maggie while I’m at work. She knows when we leave the house with her bag she’s going to daycare by the time we pull up to the building she’s so excited. If your looking for a place to bring your pet for daycare or overnight stay I highly recommend LaBark Place

After hearing about LaBark from a neighbor we decided to try it out. We have been taking our girl there for a few months now and have been very impressed. She is always excited to go, enjoys the employees and loves playing with the other dogs. They post pictures on Facebook, which are fun to look through, and they always have cute themes around holidays. We couldn't be happier.

I would like to tell everyone how much Maggie loves going to LaBark daycare. We start our mornings off by putting on her special collar and she already knows what day it is. I’ve learned I can’t put it on until we’re walking out the door now; because she wait by the front door and whines. This just shows me that she’s being well taken care of and enjoys going which in return gives me peace of mind when I’m at work knowing she’s at her happy place. I highly recommend LaBark Place for daycare or overnight stays Your pups will love you for it 🐾

I LOVE LaBark! My corgi Aurowyn can not contain his wiggle when we pull in. Renee and her crew are phenomenal!!!! I never worry he isn't being taken care of. He has made so many friends. Shout out to Otis and Claudine!! Would advise everyone to use LaBark services :)

Rene and her staff consistently do an amazing job caring for our very high energy dog whether he is at daycare or boarding. We have zero worries leaving our dog in their care. They communicate immediately if there is a concern, change in behavior or just simply if our dog is having a great day! We highly recommend LaBark Place! ❤️

From a human point of view, I have nothing but great things to say about the staff and how they treat the dogs like they are family. But when it comes to dog daycare, it's the dog's point of view that truly matters. We have been taking our Boston Terrier, Gallitzin, here for almost 2 years now. All I can say is, when we pull into the lot and she recognizes where she is, she becomes VERY excited. And as soon as we exit the car to head in, she more or less pulls me in by the leash. She absolutely loves playing with her friends at LaBark, and she always has a big smile on her face when I come to pick her back up. A well-earned 5-stars for this wonderful place.

LaBark is a wonderful facility. The staff and owner are super kind and great with the animals. My pup loves to go to Daycare and play with the other dogs. The socialization is essential. I would recommend LaBark to any of my friends and family. Love this place!

Our Great Pyrenees loves going to LaBark! Sallie goes for play days, during the week and always boards there! We have confidence that all the dogs are well loved and cared for while the owners are away. We have used other Daycare & Boarding (even worked for one) and LaBark is far superior! The staff is amazing!

My mini dachshund, Woody, has been going to LaBark since he was just a little guy. I cannot tell you how thankful I am for Renee and all of the employees there. Everyone is so nice and you can tell they truly LOVE all the puppers that go there. I fully trust that Woody will not only have so much fun while he is there, but I also know he will always be safe and looked after. My Australian Shepherd, Maverick has the best time at LaBark Place! He has gone for daycare and overnight many times. The facility is very clean and the staff is amazing! There is never a dull moment at LaBark Place which makes each day a new adventure. I love how they capture these moments and share them one their page. I recently had to go out of town and Maverick was with them for 10 days. Not the first time he’s stayed overnight but this is the longest time. The photos said it all Maverick was a happy boy, I texted and checked in half way through the week and the response was prompt. Of course he was doing great! When I picked him up it was like he never left home. He was super excited to see me but he was well taken care of. I’ve had experiences in the past where my dogs come home after boarding and I felt guilty I took them. It took them days to readjust. That has never happened after any of the visits at LeBark Place! Rene, the owner is so caring and takes time to get to know all the dogs. The entire staff treats each and every dog like they are their own. Lots of play time, cuddles and love. So incredibly happy to have such an awesome place to take my boy. He gets so excited when I say “wanna go play with your fur friends?” He can barely stay calm when we’re driving down the lane and once we pull up he is super excited! If you need a place to take your pup look no further!

UPDATE: All you have to do is read the owner’s responses to any negative reviews to see the level of “professionalism” and lack of accountability that you will be dealing with if you make the mistake of bringing your animals here. Do you really think it’s my idea of a good time to go on vacation, pick my dog up from Denise’s Animal House, and then have to immediately bathe my dog while she's crying out in pain because her neck is eaten completely raw by fleas?? And then have to spend even MORE money on flea treatment?? Yeah, no. And I don’t imagine it’s anybody else’s idea of a good time either. Just because you don’t WANT to be responsible for something, doesn’t make it so. Why would bites be so raw and red, as the picture shows, if these weren’t NEW bites that she got during her 5-night stay? Denise and I do not have the same definitions of bullying or respect; you certainly didn’t respect this client or animal by allowing her to be eaten alive by FLEAS and then denying any responsibility. And to think that I actually added a TIP - that they not so subtly ask you for at checkout - to have to deal with this FLEA nightmare and clearly delusional owner. As Denise herself admitted, they don’t require clients to treat their dogs for fleas, though I DO and this is why my 6-yr-old dog has never had fleas before in her life. But because I have owned enough dogs in my lifetime, I was able to see that she had gotten FLEAS from Denise’s Animal House immediately. You get what you pay for, folks. When it’s cheaper than everyone else, there’s a reason. And in Denise’s Animal House’s case, the reasons are many. Just walk into the reception area and you will be greeted by their idea of cleanliness. At least this happened to us now so I know to NEVER trust Denise’s Animal House with my dog ever again. And Denise, the pleasure was not mine in any interaction with you. It’s obvious that you have no business being trusted with family pets. The truth always comes out eventually… When this continues to happen to other pets, you’re going to be held responsible more and more often. So you better start studying up on what accountability and honesty are, because you don’t seem to understand what that is now. $8 for Capstar? Lady, there’s this thing called Google that will show you very quickly that $8 is NOT the cost for that flea treatment. ORIGINAL, HONEST REVIEW: Don’t bring your pet here unless you want them to come home with FLEAS. Owner said my “assumptions are derogatory” because I said my dog clearly got the fleas either from the kennel where she slept or another dog during her 5-night stay there. My dog didn’t have fleas when I brought her, but when I picked her up from Denise’s Animal House, her neck was completely eaten up around her collar, red and raw. And she’s a short-haired Weimaraner so it was easy to see. She was itching and crying anytime we touched her neck. Denise says they don’t require clients to treat their dogs for fleas but if they see it, they treat it immediately. Yet my poor girl’s neck went unnoticed? I asked for a partial refund to cover the expensive Capstar treatment I had to purchase for my dog and long-haired cat to get rid of the fleas that my dog got from Denise’s Animal House. Even though she admitted my dog could have gotten the fleas there, she refused. And when I pressed on about how wrong that is to do to a person and the animal, she hung up on me. While I do think Denise’s Animal House has SOME workers there who clearly care about the animals, there’s apparently no accountability for what happens to your pet while there. I would definitely NOT recommend bringing your animals to Denise’s Animal House, as there’s no guarantee your dog won’t be exposed to fleas (or worse; I wish I had read the reviews before ever coming here!) and the whole ordeal will cost you a lot more than what you bargained for. And for the record, my dog has been to many different boarders and never once come home with fleas before. Only place she’s ever gotten fleas from is Denise’s Animal House.

Although I was able to get an appointment I was very disappointed. Receptionist was very friendly and makes notes of what you want be very very specific. The groomer was not there yet so I talked with the receptionist I said I needed the works. And because I didn't explain every little detail They didn't even cut their hair they didn't do a hygiene clean. Every other dog groom I've been to. When I said I need the works. They do their nails, they do the haircuts. They do the hygienic clean for their Perry areas. Cost a $120 to basically get them bathed, very upset and disappointed. So I do want to add an update on here. I was contacted by the owner who wanted to make it right. She Ask if I wanted to come back in so she can give the haircuts. I explained to her that I had already got their haircuts that day that she called me. And that I didn't know how long we would still be here. Because my husband is a traveling nurse. She said that she could do the haircuts before we leave town or just do a clean up.

1st time there and the groomer was fabulous with my Persian. She knew when my cat wasn't in the mood for a bath, and I really appreciated that. She gave her a nice cut when other groomers only wanted to give her drugs to knock her out. Will definitely go back. So happy to have found someone so excellent with a persnickety Persian!

This place is great! I highly recommend them for all your grooming and boarding needs! The staff are all super friendly and great at what they do! Prices are also great, so you can't go wrong here!!

My husband and I went on a weeks long getaway and had to board our 15 month old Shar Pei/Black Lab mix, Nova. We adopted her about 4 months ago and like new parents, were reluctant to leave her. As soon as we arrived at Denise's, I felt at ease with our decision. The property was very well kept, the office smelled nice, surprisingly quiet and the staff were so pleasant and treated Nova just like their own. Her new human friends even posted pictures of her on their social media account so we could peak in at her activities while we were away. When we came back to get her, she was happy, healthy and clean! (They gave her a bath before we picked her up!) Nova is adjusting to her new life at our home well but she still has a lot of anxiety from time to time with strangers and some other canine friends. They were truly wonderful with her and took things at her pace. We will absolutely be back! Thanks for loving our girl while we were away!

My husband and I boarded our dog here while we were gone for a week long trip. We were very nervous since we have never boarded him and he has separation anxiety. Denise's Animal House did a great job of taking care of him and I felt at ease from the moment I walked in! The lady working the front desk really helped to reassure me and I knew he would be well taken care of. Very happy with my experience!

We boarded our dogs here, and they seemed to really love it! They got more exercise here than they do at home. It's such a nice facility. Everything was really easy, especially for it being our first time ever kenneling. Any staff we talked to were really nice and knowledgeable. Overall great experience.

I heard of this place through dog park friends. The reviews and recommendations were always very positive and me and my wife wanted to give it a try. We couldn't be any more content and pleased with their services. Out puppy loves being there! The staff are extremely professional and careful of out loved furry friends. Our golden is less than a year and a half old and we’ve been trying to get her comfortable with a groomer for roughly the past 6 months. After some bad experiences at big chain stores, I am blown away with the experience at River’s Edge. These guys are professional, the store is clean, and they do great work. Our golden has never looked better. *Update* - In the years since our original review we have nothing but great experiences to report on. We trust River’s Edge with grooming AND boarding our dog when needed. If you’re lucky enough to call yourself a customer you’ll never be disappointed.

I take my Rosie, a Beagle Dachshund mix, for a nail trim every 2-3 months. She is very gentle, but hates having her nails trimmed. They are excellent at handling her, and gets the job done. I appreciate their skill.

Nala and Enzo look amazing. They did a great job. I am so grateful he was able to fit my two dogs into the schedule. They are both 55+ pounds and were extremely overdue for their spa day. I definitely recommend!!!

We have been bringing our Yorkie here for 6 years. Steve and his team are INCREDIBLE and we have always had a wonderful experience. Not only is their work top notch, but they treat each animal as if they were their own. I can't recommend them enough!

Our 3 pups have went here since their 1st groom! Always a good experience, great groom & I know they are well cared for while there. Steve & crew are the BEST!!!

I take my dogs here to get there nails clipped and they always take great care of both of them. Our 1 year old doodle can be very jumpy/vocal and Steve is wonderful and always has some great advice on how I can calm him down and train him better. He takes the extra 5-10 minutes to give me some tips when he doesn’t have to. 10/10

This is one of the best groom shops around. Quality groom, but also you feel like family. Personable and professional! Boarding is a breeze! A huge plus this is a groom and boarding shop!

Just picked up Charlie, our great pyrenees from the new Blanchester location. He is very happy and looks amazing!

My difficult dogs second stay. Steve takes very good care of him while he's there, and gets my recommendation.

In Pleasant Plain Ohio This place is clean and very well kept. I have used this kennel for years and never worry about my dog while under their care. They treat me and my pup like we are the only ones that matter! Tina gets the dogs out into the big fenced in yard several times a day and the individual kennels are also clean and spacious. Tina is kind hearted and provides excellent care to her tenants who seem to love her too. This place is a prize ! Definitely a 5 star

Tina was great! She was wonderful with our 2 German Shepherds and was so flexible with our schedules. I felt very comfortable leaving our boys with her. We will definitely be using The Bark-n-Breakfast again!

I am so happy that I was referred to Happy Paws for daycare for my beagle. These ladies actually love their job and the animals. Their price for their service is so reasonable it’s unbelievable. Teddy Ballgame and I are always greeted with a smile and such professionalism. Very thankful for the care they provide.

They lost my families dog after it jumped their fence while under their care. And then proceeded to say that they could not even print out flyers using their printer. The only offer that has been given is to set up a single trap. I would rate 0 stars if I could. In response: my family had to ask for flyers, had to ask for the trap and PLEASE elaborate on what you are doing to “search day and night”. Because as your email said, you offered one trap and that was all. Losing a dog is like losing a child and you all have had such a lack of compassion and care for the situation. If a PUPPY can get loose in your care in FIVE MINUTES, maybe you need a better fence? Take responsibility.

Loved loved this for my babies. My 3 small dogs don’t get boarded often and we are new to this area. It was a long stay of a week and my babies were well taken care of. They sent me pics of my dogs and kept the 3 of them in a separate room bc my boy dog is not that friendly. Had their nails trimmed while they were there too. Will alway take them here if we ever need boarding.

We got Blue( our big pup) in relatively quick. we called about 3 weeks before our vacation, and they were able to board her for our 10-day trip . They had some issues with their phone (which I believe wasn't on their end my the phone company), but didn't let them miss booking Blue. I was still contacted and they gathered all the information they needed !! For drop off day, they had flexible hours, and I had gotten held up, but they allowed Blue to still be dropped off by my son !!! You pay once you pick up and everything went smoothly. Price is very reasonable , locations looks very clean. Blue was happy and very excited to see us. We will definitely use Happy Paws Pet Retreat again !!!

My Aussie girl Stella enjoyed her stay. I called to check on her as we were gone 14 days. Got a good report from Bree and even a picture of her smiling. Will definitely be my choice for future boarding.

Leslie did an excellent job with my girl Kensey. If you are looking for a groomer or a place to board with someone who truly loves your baby (almost as much as you do) Happy Paws is the place.

Every time I’ve taken Zoey to All Paws Inn, Natalie has done an excellent job on Zoey’s grooming. She also watched Zoey while we went on a trip and she sent frequent updates. Highly recommend. Professional, friendly, clean.

All paws inn is the very best dog daycare around! Natalie keeps her outdoors area and building clean and welcoming. My dog comes home exhausted from playing with his friends all day. Natalie is great with all the dogs and I love that she sends me pictures and videos of my pup. All paws inn has a huge fenced in yard for lots of exercise, and new things to explore. If it’s raining she has a great indoor area too. My dog is socialized and active during my workday thanks to Natalie! We have also used Kayleigh at the spa and she was amazing. My dog has weepy eyes and Kayleigh took the time to explain to me how to keep them clean. My dogs looked like little princesses, they even got bows on their ears! Making the grooming appointment was easy and very reasonably priced. I feel very lucky to have the daycare and spa so close!

Vivian had an awesome day playing with new friends at the All Paws Inn. Thank you Natalie for loving Vivian and giving all 4 legged friends a safe loving place to play and be adventurous while their humans are busy at work. The grooming services are top notch too Vivian came home soft, white and her coat was flawlessly trimmed to perfection a doodles coat is not the easiest to work with but this was the best groom she has had!

We’re so happy to have found All Paws Inn! Natalie was very welcoming and professional, and my dog came home healthy and happy. We can’t wait to continue daycare here!

Our dog, Otis, loves going to "school" at All Paws Inn and gets so excited when he finds out he is going! The staff are so friendly, professional, and truly care about your pets! We receive regular photos, videos, and texts while Otis is there. The staff work very hard to make sure all of the dogs get along and are in a fun and safe environment. They also do a great job socializing the dogs and working on positive behaviors. The staff also do fun activities such as easter egg hunts, pools in the summer, and birthday treats! Otis has learned so much from going to All Paws Inn and has become much calmer around other dogs when we are out. We never have to worry about Otis when he is at All Paws Inn. And the best part?! He comes home exhausted and is always excited to go back!

We have had not so good experience with the store groomers, so we decided to try out All paws inn. We are beyond happy! Our dog was so well cared for and the groomer did such an amazing job! We will be back!

We love Natalie and the whole staff! Our pup loves them too. You can tell they care about the dogs like their own. Our pup gets so excited to go to daycare which is such a great sign as an owner and is exhausted from all the play when he gets home. I also love that they post pictures and video updates throughout the day. I drive out of my way to drop off my pup here because it’s an all around great place !! Highly recommend

Our dog loves this day care! She jumps for joy when we bring her in the morning and leaves happy and tired. We have been taking our dog here for almost a year and have never had an issue. It's a great facility for the dogs to play outside and relax if they need to. Dogs of all sizes seem to enjoy. The staff is friendly as can be. Natalie has always treated our pup with so much love and we greatly appreciate her. We will never take our dog anywhere else.

I have been going to All Paws Inn for over a year now. I take my dog 4/5 days a week. My husband and I work a lot. We started going when our dog was a puppy. Natalie and her team have helped us train/raise our dog and I cannot say enough good things about this place. For example, Natalie sends us videos and status updates so we always know that our dog is happy and well taken care of. If you’re looking for a small business with a personal touch, this is the place to go!!

I can not recommend this daycare enough!! Natalie is so amazing with all the dogs! I brought my super young, small pup to daycare and she was really great about slowly introducing her to the pack and making sure she was comfortable and having nothing but positive experiences! Now my dog goes everyday and she absolutely LOVES it! It’s fairly small and intimate (maybe 10 dogs a day) so each dog gets a good amount of quality time and focused play. Plus they are super flexible and accommodating, not to mention incredibly nice!!

Our dog loves Ivanhoe, and we board him there with confidence! The group play-dates during his stay are great; pool time is so fun; and Ivanhoe helps us by allowing our dog to have potty breaks on grass where he is most comfortable. This is not true at all kennels we have tried. Thank you for providing such a clean, well equipped & well staffed kennel!

We tried Ivanhoe kennels. The female owner was nice to work with however the male owner was extremely rude and abrasive. Vaccine records were not required. We would not recommend this kennel for these reasons. We moved to Travellers stay …

Zoey our Blue Heeler just loves her time at Ivanhoe. We have boarded her and left her for daily social visits with other dogs and she always looks forward to her time there. One of her favorites is the pool and being able to play with other highly active dogs. I would recommend Ivanhoe to anyone looking for a great place for their dog.

Been a customer for over 20+years. Our dogs receive great care, attention to needs and lots of love while we are out of town. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Our dogs are always happy and excited at drop off! Highly recommend!

I have been using Ivanhoe for a few years now when I need to travel for work. My dog, Oliver, loves going! He enjoys the people the socialization with the other dogs and both always treat him very well! I won't use anyone else at this point,. They have won my business and will be Oliver's doggie spa for life.

We brought our three dogs here while we went to Hawaii for a week to get married. We were very nervous about boarding our dogs for a long period of time. There were other customers in there that reassured us that they loved this kennel and that comforted us a lot. We checked on them a couple times while we were on vacation and the employees said they were doing well and even sent us pictures that we requested and the dogs looked very happy. Once we got home to pick them up is when our concerns raised. The dogs were acting very off, which we attributed to them being off put being in a new place. After being around our dogs we noticed they all looked like they lost weight, their faces looked very stressed, one of our dogs has a huge raw mark on the side of his face that was bleeding, and another one of our dogs eyes were so red and swollen, and they smelt like urine. When we brought them home they slept for 20 hours straight like they were so stressed the entire week they did not get much sleep. It made us feel so awful that we were on vacation having a good time and they were so scared and stressed. Besides my concerns about our dogs, I called the facility the day before dropping off the dogs and asked how much I owed after my deposit and the lady told me $720, when I picked the dogs up they charged me $870. I did not want to argue with the employee about the cost because he was just a kid and I was too worried about my dogs. All in all, I dont know if the issue was my dogs being homebody’s or if they were not getting properly cared for.

We have been using the Ivanhoe kennel for several years. We love the daycare & also overnight stays. The staff knows & loves our dog as if he was their own. He loves the pool & the freedom to play with other dogs his size. For worry free visits I highly recommend using Ivanhoe Kennel.

I’ve been working at Ivanhoe for two years and have been bringing my dogs for 10. I see what goes on behind the scenes and I still recommend the place. The owner is knowledgeable, the staff is friendly, and the facility is clean. Attached is a picture of my dog at Ivanhoe (the yellow lab)

Ivanhoe is a wonderful facility that our dog Kosmo loves to go to. We use doggy day care and have boarded him there as well. The outdoor spaces and inground pool are awesome and he loves it there. The staff really care and are great with him. It's reassuring that he can go somewhere where we know that he'll be taken care, watched over and have total piece of mind when he is there! This is our forever place- we wont even consider anywhere else. We highly recommend

My dog has been staying with Ivanhoe Country Kennels when we are away for more than an decade. She is always well taken care of, happy, and healthy when she comes home. We have moved around quite a bit and I have had to board her other places. I am ALWAYS happy when I can return her to her “home-away-from-home” at Ivanhoe Country Kennels; and so is she.
