We really got lucky when we accepted Lauren after a relatively short video call. We met her after that (and before the sit started) when she made an effort to overnight our area so we could all get to know one another. She communicated extremely well, was warm yet professional, cared deeply and genuinely about our doggie (and about us!), and was a huge help and resource to a family that came to stay in our other home from overseas. It was their first time in S. Africa, and she did so much to welcome them, help them settle in, trouble shoot things in the home-- as well as in their travels. Lauren spent an additional 2 nights-- the first when we did not make it home on time due to flight cancellation, and the next when we finally got home, but it became too late to be on the road. These were ongoing last minute changes (more than one) and Lauren took it all in stride. Lauren also communicated health concerns to us about our dog, took her to the vet when she had a troublesome wound, and made sure she could comfortable get up and down the stairs with her arthritis. On walks, the stiffness is forgotten, and Lauren kept up so well on free range beach runs. She did not hesitate to take our doggie along to the cafe and to social events, and even got her some luxury birthday treats. We have other sits coming up, arranged before we met Lauren, and I can only hope they go so well. If not, I feel reassured that a back-up might be close by. Huge thanks to Lauren

Judy and Gerry are just lovely. They took great care of Jerry our dog and Figaro our cat. By the looks of it both pets took a great liking to our sitters. While away we received many photos and feedback as to how the pets are doing. The apartment was in perfect shape when we returned home. Moreover they prepared an excellent meal to share together before their departure. Both Gerry and Judy are wonderful and we recommend them without the slightest hesitation.

Richard agreed to come one day earlier to our home to have enough time to explain everything. We had immediately the impression to be with a friend and spent a very nice evening together. During his stay everything went very well. He informed us regularly that everything was fine and after our return we found our house very clean and tidy. We recommend him warmly as your future housesitter.

Kelly was a wonderful pet sitter and house sitter! Our dog Cooper adored her. She sent us pictures several times a day and he was always snuggling with her. She kept in touch with us regularly. We have never left our baby before and we were anxious about it but we ended up feeling totally comfortable with Cooper in Kelly’s care. She also kept our potted plants alive during a heat wave and took great care of the house. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Monique was very nice and easy to schedule with. She sent us pictures of our dog Maisie while we were away, which we enjoyed seeing. Maisie was well cared for and had gotten plenty of exercise by the time we got home. The house was spotless, which was lovely to come home to! She had taken the trash and recycling bins out, even though we hadn’t mentioned them to her before we left. She made sure to let us know if anything was amiss so there were no surprises when we returned. Would definitely recommend her as a pet and house sitter for others. :)

Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. 5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. My Mini Wire Dachshunds, Ted and Robin, just love daycare at Mary Puppins. They literally jump out of my arms in the mornings when I drop them off and they come home with a big smile on their faces. I have never had any doubt that this is the best place for my dogs as the owner is such a dog lover and has a lot of knowledge about dogs and so have all her staff members. My dogs are treated like royalty and love staying overnight as well if I have to leave town. I highly recommend Mary Puppins. It really is THE BEST doggy daycare and pet hotel in Cape Town!

I think this happy little face says it all! I cannot express how amazing the Mary puppins team are! They really do love your dog as if it is their own, they send daily video and photo updates of your little pup. I even got a Mother’s Day card! Looking for a place thats like home then Mary Puppins is the home away from home. No cement cells and 1 hour walks. Dogs are made to feel at home. Set on Table Mountain with the most natural walks amongst forest and trails. My pomsky comes home every exhausted and fulfilled which is a wonder as even my long walks dont get her tired. Fantastic staff who are the perfect combination of strict and caring.

Visiting from the United States we needed to get our pup into daycare to be fully present with our family. SUPERWOOF was quick to respond, get her assessed, and even sold Hills Science Diet on-site which was really helpful since we were running low. We loved the pictures they send us updating us on our pup and how her day was going. You think your dogs are happy at home? You are wrong, you will see your dog smile when they spend time at Super Woof! We had our two fur kids visit the hotel for 17 nights and they didn't want to leave. The staff are fantastic and the space is so much fun, your dog will sleep for 2 days when returning home. I left my 2 small dogs with Jackie for 5 weeks while I relocated to Portugal, It was the most stressful thing I have had to do but Jackie was amazing, I have never met a more caring, loving, knowledgeable pet sitter in my life and over the years I have left my dogs in different situations when I have gone overseas, I just regret not having come across Jackie before. We had major problems with PETPORT the relocation company I used but Jackie was amazing helping me deal with their unbelievable incompetence. She took care of my dogs as if they were here own and sent me daily video’s of what fun they were having. I cannot recommend WAGGYTAILS highly enough, I just dont know how I am going to find someone here in Portugal to live up to her standards.

The Proud Hounds team takes such good care of our pup. The owner, Kerry, is friendly and attentive, and the rest of the team is also super professional and caring. The setup is very convenient in terms of drop-offs and pick-ups, which is an added plus. Overall, we have no doubt that our dog is in great hands.

Kerry's always friendly presence and picking up well cared for and tired dogs at the end of the day are really what make this place amazing. The handlers coming out to greet the dogs by name in the morning puts you at ease when leaving your precious pooches in their care.

Thank you Bowhaus for taking special care of my Shiba Inu puppy, Yoshiko. You've put all my fears to rest of leaving her with anybody else. She loved playing with Shanti and came home absolutely knackered. I found the facilities clean, spacious and secure with lots of gates to keep my pooch inside and I had no problem finding parking when collecting her- big plus in my book. I noticed that they do use the proper cleaning products (F10) what your vet would use to clean the daycare. LOVED THIS! I have a Shiba Inu puppy and they are not for the feint hearted. She is currently in her screaming phase and Claire could give me solid advice about training. Thank you to Claire and Kenny for their caring nature and allowing my special fur-kid to just be herself. I will definitely bring her for a bath/ grooming before show as well.
Bow-wow and the team there are absolutely amazing, they actually care for your Fur babies and they truly love what they do. My Boi absolutely loves it there, He gets so excited when I tell him we going to school.

We have been with Bow-Wow Doggy Daycare for almost a year now, and we honestly have nothing bad to report or comment. The genuine love the staff has for all the dogs coming through their door, is not just amazing but encouraging. The staff really treat your dog as their own. The staff are also ready to give tips and advice when asked. Oh and let me not forget about the Adventure walks being offered, oh my goodness, I honestly believe that Frankie has explored and knows the Cape Town better than I do.. That's just the beginning of it, the pooches even parties, and sleepovers aren't boring. But checkout their socials for visual evidence of the fun being had at Bow-Wow.
Katja and her team at Bow Wow are the best in the business and we could not be happier that we finally found a doggy day care that we trust. We have a very anxious dog around people but the team were very patient in gaining her trust and respecting that she is not a dog that will jump on their laps, but giving her love and care from a far. They are also more focused on the dogs, enrichment activities and professional carers than trying to be a “hip” doggy day care. The facilities are also clean and in good condition. Could not recommend them enough!
All-round absolutely amazing! The team and staff and so helpful and knowledgeable about so many different breeds and animal behaviors. The space is welcoming, clean and comfortable. Having access to the staff at any time of the day, is a great add! We can check in and get videos and photos when requested! My puppy runs to the car every morning when I ask her "do you want to go to school?" LOVE LOVE LOVE!

We were sent updates all the time with regards to our boy and how much fun he was having. Our boy has a slight problem with other dogs but after a couple of days he was fine!, all thanks to Claire and her wonderful staff that work there. They put in a little bit more time with Cairo and showed us that he is perfect. Thanks to BowHaus for everything, you now have a client for life! Roxy and her team at What a Treat are just the best! I always know my fur babies will be well looked after and can go away without worrying too much. Elsabe is lovely and so attentive to our very shy cats. She updated us at least twice a day with pictures and even took care of our plant babies. What a Treat is by far the best petsitting company I have used, and I have used a few. Before finding What a Treat, I had to come home early a few times due to petsitter issues, but I now have complete peace of mind. What a Treat go above and beyond and their petsitters are fantastic, genuine and trustworthy people. Mandy looked after our 3 fur children for just over a week while we were away. She was so loving, caring and affectionate to them. She constantly kept us updated with the cutest photos and videos and we could genuinely see our babies were happy and relaxed - having the peace of mind that they were happy and being so well cared for allowed us to really relax and enjoy our time away. Valmay looked after them for the last night, after I got our dates mixed up and was also amazing. I highly recommended What A Treat pet sitting. Shaun and Deneesha are caring, conscientious and responsible. They love pets and very importantly, pets love them!
