Scott is a dream. Not only did he take great care of our cats and bearded dragon, but he was respectful, responsive, and extremely responsible. Dakota was everything we hoped she would be as a pet sitter. She is very experienced with the zeewoi expectations and fulfilled them all. We have a neighborhood park where many families walk their pets each day. Our three dogs are well-known in the neighborhood. Numerous neighbors commented to us about how friendly, knowledgeable and loving Dakota was with our dogs. We got a couple pictures of the dogs enjoying their walks and park time. The dogs were not stressed when we returned and greeted us warmly. The house was clean and neat. Dakota even washed the sheets on the bed and remade it for us. Let’s Play!
Laurie cat sat for me while I was out of the country for a week. We chatted a bit by phone ahead of the sit to work out the details and then I had the pleasure of meeting her in person when she arrived. My outgoing cat Buddy took to her immediately, and my shy girl Cheryl came around a few moments later (much faster than usual when meeting a new person). My cats felt at ease with her right away, which was very reassuring for me. Laurie sent me photos regularly and kept the home clean and kitties happy. Couldn’t have gone any better. Caitlyn, KJ, and their pup Sully were excellent house guests and pet sitters, and we would highly recommend them! I was able to meet Caitlyn and KJ prior to them house sitting for us, and we are always super appreciative when sitters are able to make that work and are willing to take time out of their schedule to come over and get the lay of the land. Their dog Sully was full of good boy energy and was a great playmate for our two Golden Retrievers. During the stay, Caitlyn & KJ sent us photos every day and followed all of our instructions for pet care to a T. They were super self-sufficient and gracious guests that left our place looking just like it did when we left, and we were very at peace knowing that our dogs were in great hands, getting lots of exercise, and romping around with new friend Sully. Monique was very nice and easy to schedule with. She sent us pictures of our dog Maisie while we were away, which we enjoyed seeing. Maisie was well cared for and had gotten plenty of exercise by the time we got home. The house was spotless, which was lovely to come home to! She had taken the trash and recycling bins out, even though we hadn’t mentioned them to her before we left. Rose has been our go-to pet sitter for three years now. We have two large male house cats. Rose provides peace of mind while we are gone, in part because she posts us by text early each morning with a short report on that morning's visit and how the cats are. She also makes written notes on each visit and leaves them for us. She is careful and conscientious and very easy to work with. Rose watched my two boxers for me. It was somewhat nerve wracking having a non family member watch my girls. But Rose is very professional and thorough. I recently had Rose watch my eight dogs (two large dogs and six small dogs) and my two cats. I was gone overnight and my pets are not used to this. However I am pleased to say that my pets have taken kindly to Rose and they were well taken care of when I was gone. Rose sent text pictures with each of her visits. Unfortunately she had to clean up after one of my dogs but the place was immaculate when I got home. I highly recommend rose for pet sitting and I plan on using her in the future.
We highly recommend Rose, Always Available Pet Sitting. Right from the beginning Rose was organized and business-like, taking note of the names of each pet, the amount of food, times of day to be fed, locations for food, treats, etc. Rose cared for our 4 dogs and cat for 9 days while we went on vacation. She did not hesitate to come an extra day when our flight was canceled last minute. Rose did a lot more than just feed our fur babies. She spent time playing with them as well as watching their behavior to make sure they got along and played together safely. (We have 3 large dogs and a small beagle.) We’ve used this company’s service several times now. All the sitters have been super. We’ve had someone do checks on our kitten, play and feed her. Another time we had someone stay overnight with our puppy and kitten. And another time private boarded our puppy at a sitter’s home. Every time we came back to happy, well cared for pets. Amazing place!! The facility is great, in the heat of the summer to have an air conditioned space for chows is a must. Tamara was beyond helpful. This was the third place I tried as I was having surgery and, I NEVER board my dogs so it was getting stressful. I had to leave them for a day and I immediately knew I’d found the spot just because I was having trouble getting them into the yard (because of my hip) and one of them slipped out of his collar and got away. Tamaras husband jumped in without hesitation and helped me round him up. Most places I know aren’t even comfortable with having them so to see him react immediately without a hint of apprehension was reassuring. As it turned out, a friend came up to stay with me for recovery so they were able to stay home this time. I’ll be having to go in again next year so I’ll definitely be taking them back!!

I scheduled my high energy 1.5 year old Labrador pup, MAC, for his first interview this past Monday and I have to say that my husband and I had a great experience with the staff that day. From check in to check out, the staff was friendly. Miko (spelling?) was the one who greeted us when we checked in, he took Mac for his assessment and then came out to let us know our boy fit right in and he was welcome to stay for the day. We watched the live cams throughout the day and saw our pup running around and playing with a ton of other dogs, which is what we wanted. It's great to be able to leave him somewhere to run off his pup energy in a safe environment. When I picked Mac up, another male staff member greeted me and let me know Mac did great. I know it's only been one day but we definitely will be using their daycare services soon, possibly even boarding and grooming. Thank you Camp Bow Wow EG!
We had a great experience at Elkgrove Bow wow. Our pup stayed 10 days. They gave our dog her medication and gave her a bath. I called midway into our trip to check in and they were very descriptive to put me at ease. Love Camp Bow Wow.First pup started coming here in 2015 and we have continued with our new family member 2023. Highly recommend them.

My dog has separation anxiety, but the staff takes the time, eveytime, to make sure he feels comfortable when we are dropping him off. They are very responsive to emails about vaccination updates. I have a low bed,, doggie ramps everywhere and there are dog toys all over. I would say that they are a little spoiled ❤️🐾🐾❤️ I only trust a few people with my dogs. I recently moved to Fair Oaks. I searched online for pet sitting and called Vicky, the owner of Bow-Wow pet sitting and boarding. I asked many questions. I then looked at her reviews on Yelp and decided that I would give her a call back. She was able to take my dogs the next day. She was so great! My dogs were barking and have separation anxiety. I immediately felt comfortable with Vicky. She is very kind and obviously loves animals. Her house is set up perfectly - she can separate dogs if necessary but still see them, they are not locked away in a closed room. She had a big wonderful yard to play in. When I picked up my boys they were happy and not stressed. Now they WANT to go there! Even though I'm done moving I intend to to take them to Vicky's at least once a week because they love her and I don't take them in the car and leave them when running errands. I am appalled at the neglect and inhumane treatment of my dog. We left my dog Roxxy there for the weekend over 4th of July. We made sure they were aware she was a rescue dog with anxiety, and we were guaranteed that our dog would not be left alone during the fireworks. After we got our dog home, that night we realized her mouth was severally injured. Apparently, she had been left outside in a metal crate during fireworks while the owners of Bow Pow Pet sitting went to the liquor store, and tried to chew her way out causing the damage to her mouth. Multiple teeth had been broken off, her gums were destroyed and she had literally chewed so long and hard the bone of her jaw was damaged. We were never notified that our dog had been injured under their care, we had to wait to find out when we got her back, and with the extent of the injury being as bad as it was I have a hard time believing there were no signs of blood or injury when it happened. The surgery to fix my dog's mouth was over $3,500, which Bow Wow Pet sitting never even tried to repay. I felt the owners of Bow Wow pet sitting were unprofessional and down right negligent to have let this happen. To top it all off, after multiple complaints from us they still have pictures of my dog on their website, against my approval, to advertise their business. Usually I am not one to write angry online reviews but I feel strongly that they were negligent towards my dog.
My dogs were well taken care of in a family style environment. Both had individual needs and their needs were well taken care of. Was so pleased with the great care both dogs received! Recommend!
Great attentive people who are dedicated to every animal they come across. Reasonable prices for the amount of service you receive. They always go above and beyond for their customers and our pets.

Was so lucky to have found Stacey! Just moved to the area and was worried about who was going to watch them. Stacey was great, stopped by to get to know the kitties, their schedule and personalities. Stacey also checked in each day with updates and photos. I felt secure knowing they were all taken care of. Looking forward to my next trip knowing I won’t have to worry about them.
Steven & Stacey are the best!! They take such good care of our pup. I love that I get daily pictures while I’m away so I can rest easy that Leo’s having a great time in my absence. Our boy Vinz just had his first stay with Stacey and Steven. They were amazing! So patient with our boy since he is still a pup! They sent pictures while we were away and let us know how he was doing throughout his stay. This gave me great peace of mind since it was our first time leaving him. You can see how passionate they both are about animals and love knowing how happy Vinz was. We will definitely be using Pawsome pets again!!
Steve and Stacey are wonderful! They love our pups like their own. They sent daily updates and photos showing their “happy” faces, which put our minds at ease. So happy to find an amazing place for my dog close to home. Stacey and Steve are amazing caretakers for your animals. They took great care of my dog, I loved getting pictures, videos and updates daily. My dog came home so happy, clean and well cared for ! The property is well fenced and kept my dog in , she was able to run and explore all she wanted. I loved seeing pictures of her playing with the other dogs, and getting love from Steve and Stacey as well as getting warm by the fire 😎 Highly recommend. They are very affordable.
I am so grateful for Pawsome Pet Services. They have cared for my 3, and now 2 (RIP Miss Roxy), fur babies since 2018. One of my pooches is blind and the other is deaf. Pawsome is especially caring and goes the extra mile to make sure they are both safe and happy. I highly recommend Pawsome Pet Services!
Our miniature poodle stayed at Pawsome Pet Services while we went on vacation. I received daily text updates and pictures which was great. Buddy got along great with the other dogs it was nice knowing that he was well cared for while we were away. We will definitely be using Pawsome Pet Services again and I am recommending them to our family and friends.
Pawsome Pets is awesome! Like many of us, my dogs are my babies and when they’re at Pawsome Pets, they’re treated like a member of their family! They have full run of the house and yard. I get daily pictures of them playing with other pups or snuggling in the owner’s lap etc. Pawsome Pets allows me to go on vacation without worrying about my babies at all. They think they’re on vacation!!
Pawsome Pet Services is the best! Stacey and Steven are wonderful people who truly love animals. They have welcomed our dog in their home multiple times and he is always excited to see them. It is wonderful to have peace of mind when we travel, knowing our animals are well cared for and loved!

My dog is an active husky and slightly timid/anxious without me around. After a recent escape adventure from a friends house, I was really nervous to board him anywhere but had to leave someone suddenly for a family emergency. I was so lucky that Gina had space, as Dogwoods Resort was the only place I was really willing to consider. Gina is so good with the dogs, and the property is absolutely perfect, with large fenced areas for them to run around. Being a helicopter mom, I went in for a meet and greet before our reservation and after seeing the place and meeting Gina, any concerns I may have had were put at ease knowing that my dog would be safe, have lots of room to play, and could be social with other dogs. He came home dirty, tired and happy and that is exactly what I wanted for my pup. I know it can be hard to get a booking, but I understand why - I wouldn’t want to leave my dog anywhere else. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I have been taking my dogs to Dog Woods for at least 10 years. I wouldn't take them anywhere else. The property is beautiful and I know Grizzly is being well cared for and having fun all day with the other dogs. When he comes home he sleeps for hours. It is not your typical daycare. Gina does a really fantastic job. Communication is excellent and it's easy to book a reservation. Grizzly loves Dog Woods. He will be back often.
Our fur babies love going to Auntie Gina's! They will vocally express their excitement and wag their tails once we turn onto the road leading to Dog Woods. We miss them while we are away, but know they are extremely well taken care of and most of all loved. Jeff and Dalaina
I have brought my Great Dane here many times, Gina takes amazing care of my dogs, and all of the dogs in her care. Easy booking, great communication, and lovely facility. If your dog needs a place to have fun while you’re on vacation this is the place to go.
Our pups have stayed with Dog Woods several times over a couple of years. We have a rescue that is overly cautious of new people, but is excited every time we pull up to the Resort. Moose, Pua, and their humans 100% recommend.
Dog Woods resort is truly a home away from home! Gina is awesome. Very welcoming, the dogs are all happy playing and running around inside this beautiful property. The reservation process is so easy, very professional and you don’t have to worry about a thing! We highly recommend this amazing place!
Great place for our two dogs to have a vacation while we were on vacation. Beautiful open space for the dogs to roam, play and run. Our dogs were well cared for, communication was superb, and the web service for scheduling, notifications, and overall ease of use for us was fabulous. My pup Gideon LOVES DWR! He gets SO excited every time we pull up to the property and shows Gina all kinds of love when he see's her. His humans love DWR too! Booking his visits is super easy and the communications around confirmations, payment, etc. is fantastic! DWR is PAWSOME!
Dogwoods is unlike the normal commercial dog boarding places. Your dog is not just another $ sign here. They take the time to get to know their clients and the clients parents. Dogwoods also makes accommodations for dogs with special needs and senior dogs who need a little more attention. You can rest, assured your dog will be in great hands and allow to enjoy your vacation knowing your dog go is having a blast and is being well cared for!
