Best companions & carers for your pets & home. Experienced, patient, attentive
If you are lucky enough to get Chris and Geoff to request a house sit, say yes quickly! We went overseas for a whole month and left our dog... who is nothing short of my animal bestie. They walked her every day(twice!) and stayed near her for large chunks of the day... and they also did magic on the garden -- keeping our newly planted trees alive and our garden thriving. Within the first few days of their house sit, we had some exchanges on text that showed me how wonderful Chris and Geoff would be-- making themselves at home in our neighborhood and with Lucy. I was able to enjoy my holiday even more because our dog and home were deeply cared for. Lucy's behaviour when we returned was noticeably settled. She had not gained weight or becoming clingy like she has in past when I left her. I think she misses them. :-) Thank you, Chris and Geoff!

Both Mariia and Anton were delightful, arrived in good time, listened carefully, paying attention to details and clarifying things I hadn't even thought about. They were thoughtful and kind before, during, and after their time here. Odin took to them immediately and seemed just fine with my leaving. They were unusually gracious about the AC going out pretty soon after I left, even when a serviceman couldn't come until the end of the Sit. They understand the dynamics of increasing air flow to cool down a house and made that happen. When I got home they'd planned on having me join them for the supper they made, which I did. We had a lovely chat during the meal and afterwards about many things. So good to get to know them better. The house was in great shape, all clean and in order. Odin was happy to see me, but still wanted to be with them too. A good sign. We had breakfast they'd made the next morning, then spent a while saying our good-byes, including Odin. I would love to have them stay at Dancing Oaks again. A Great First Zeewoi experience.

Let go of worry. I'll do the pet sitting :)
Chemda was so great and my cat Ginger just adored her. My cat was so happy. And my home was in perfect condition. What a lovely person

I can’t say enough nice things about Tia and her husband. This is the second time we have hosted Tia in our home and she is beyond amazing. I trust her to make the best decisions and provide the best care for our pets and our home. She is intuitive, active, a great communicator, leaves our home better than we left it, and is friendly and engaging. We had a leopard gecko who just didn’t want to eat and Tia solved it, putting my 10 year old son at ease on our vacation. I would welcome Tia into my home anytime and feel so fortunate to have met her!

Traveling mom and son duo, ready to care for your fur babies and home!
When I first connected with Ebone and read all of her fabulous reviews, I honestly thought she seemed too good to be true. But she is everything everyone says and better! What a fabulous person and incredible sitter. Amazing care and attention for our pets, our plants, and our home. We could not be more grateful to her. And if you are even remotely concerned about her young son living in your house, let me assure you that he is so lovely and well-behaved! He provides the pets with tons of love and care. Ebone was attentive, communicative, and helpful. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

David was great. He is quite experienced with pets and knows their needs. Great communication with a sense of humor. Very responsible. He dealt with and fixed a failing refrigerator in my absence. You would be fortunate to snag him as a sitter.

Fiona took excellent care of all four of our animals. She sent us pictures regularly and was communicative with us both before the sit and throughout the week that she house sat for us. The house was very clean when we got back and all the animals were happy. I highly recommend Fiona.

Honest and cat-loving sitter excited to help you with your travel plans!
Ciara says she specializes in longer Sits, and this one was almost two months. She is a cat guru and took good care of Emmylou — who was glad to see me when I got home, but was not obviously stressed by my absence. Ciara is systematic, self contained, and self sufficient. For instance she solved her own WiFi issues without needlessly involving me. I supplied cleaning services every two weeks. I was happy with the job that Ciara did for me and Emmylou.

Alyson rates more than a 5. We have had many great house/pet sitters over the years, but Alyson is in a league of her own. In the short sit of 4 days, Alyson managed to bond with all three of our pets as well as take excellent care of our home.

Jeannette was the absolute best pet sitter anyone could ask for! She was communicative and easy going. She took very good care of the house, but most importantly she took superb care of my dog, Bodhi. She took him on long walks and fun adventures everyday. While I was out of the country, I received pictures and updates of their "vacation". I loved seeing Bodhi's and Jeannette's smiles in all the photos. They definitely bonded. :) I would highly recommend Jeannette as a pet sitter and also as an excellent person who cares about people, animals, and the planet.
Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden. The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom. Already scheduled a second sit! If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.
We were lucky to have Andrea back for another sit with our elderly dog and feral cat. She has been wonderful both in the past and on this last sit for a month! We trust her implicitly and are always at ease that our pets will have the most kind and careful attention. She is excellent with videos and communication and very clean and tidy. Again we feel lucky to have found her, and feel she would be a great sitter for any pets!
I felt totally confident in leaving Darcy and my house in Elaine’s care and I returned to a very contended dog and a perfectly clean and tidy house. Elaine arrived the day before I left so I was able to get to know her and enjoy an evening meal with her before my very early flight. We kept in contact while I was away via WhatsApp and I was happy to see photos of Darcy relaxing in her usual favourite places. It was lovely to be welcomed back home after my holiday by a very well looked after dog and it was so nice that Elaine was here to welcome me and had the lamps on, flowers in vases and a meal in the oven. My house was clean and tidy and Darcy has enjoyed a week of lovely walks and neck scratches. I highly recommend Elaine as a completely reliable pet and house sitter and she is a lovely lady to chat to. I was so pleased that I got to know her.
Bard and Kim are amazing house sitters and pet care givers. I would recommend them over and over. I wish I could add numbers to the scale. They would get a 10+. Bard and Kim were super easy to work with, efficient, self-sufficient, and considerate. They took immaculate care of my home; it was definitely cleaner after they left! I would recommend them without hesitation over and over.
5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Tyler, THANK YOU for allowing us to enjoy a few nights for the first time in a decade! Dean & Diana Smith
Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.
Laura is hands down the best sitter that we have ever had care for our pets and house! Having her stay made our trip away so care free and added a super fun layer of getting her daily (morning and night!) updates with photos and videos, some were hilarious I love Laura’s sense of humor! We were gone 8 days and when’s we arrived home our house was cleaner than when we left, mail on the counter, yard was picked up, it was beyond what we would expect. This made our first day back so easy. Oh’ and our pets were so relaxed and happy we knew they were loved and taken care of while we were away. Laura knew that we were coming home late and she even had bought a yummy quiche, rolls, fruit and juice so that we had breakfast in the morning! Laura is responsive, a great communicator, I could go on but simply put she is welcome at our house anytime. Simply the best!! Thank you tons Laura!!
David was a super interesting guy, we had good conversation. My place was clean, my cat was happy...he communicated with me.. David is a great house and pet sitter . He is very gentle, which my cat enjoys.
Heath spent a long weekend at my home taking great care of both dogs and the cat. He was able to help out on rather short notice, and I felt very comfortable leaving my pets in his care. Heath is friendly and reliable and left my home neat and tidy. I would definitely recommend him as a house/pet sitter for future assignments!

Gabi was wonderful with our two Goldens, Honey and Kobe. She helped us last semester 4 days a week midday for playtime, walks and puppy love! She easily established rapport with our dogs and provided exceptional care that was beyond our expectations! We highly recommend her. She is easy to communicate with and is responsible and reliable.
My wife and I are new to the area and were going to be traveling for work. We don’t really know many people in the area yet, but had seen Gabi’s business come up in our search for a pet sitter. The pictures on the site and the glowing reviews convinced us to schedule a meet and greet. She was so sweet with our Tinsley, a shy chihuahua mix. We were instantly on board. My wife and I both have physical disabilities and don’t have a car of our own, so getting places can be hard for us. Gabi was able to meet our needs, coming to our home to meet Tinsley, picking her up and bringing her back home, and being incredibly understanding about our schedule and payment. Tinsley instantly fell in love with Gabi, and made friends with other dogs in her home at the time. Gabi has such a way with animals and she isn’t afraid to give a chance to often stigmatized breeds. The constant attention to our baby and communication with me and my wife was incredibly reassuring. Gabi was so understanding of Tinsley’s quirks and mannerisms and Tinsley was immediately comfortable in her presence. Gabi has an impeccable business model, with a very clear process and reasonable policies. She is very willing to work with her clients to meet their needs and can plan for the unexpected. We are definitely going to be sending Tinsley over for more visits in the future.
Gabi has been so great with our fur babies! She really loves dogs and it shows.
Gabrielle was super responsive and continuously kept me updated! She watched my three pups over the weekend and would keep me informed on how my babies were doing. I would trust Gabrielle to watch my fur babies again! Before watching them, she would she came for a meet and greet to get to know them and to make sure my dogs felt comfortable 😊
My dog, Tofu, loves Gabi! We found Gabi after a few negative experiences we had at larger boarding facilities. Even though I have to drive an hour round trip to get to Gabi's, it's worth it when I see how excited Tofu is to see her. She's not the most communicative, but is on top of the important updates. She'll always send pictures if I ask and she let me know right away when Tofu wasn't feeling well. All in all, I trust Gabi to take good care of Tofu and give him lots of love in my place.
I was hopeful because of the positive reviews but I didn’t schedule and meet and greet ahead of time, which was my mistake. I won’t get into details about my experience but I will say that I ultimately wasn’t comfortable utilizing Gabi’s boarding services for my older/anxious dog over a long weekend. I don’t love writing negative reviews but feel compelled to do that so others will make sure to thoroughly vet for their dog sitter ahead of time. **Edit - this has more to do with why I decided not to leave my dog with Gabi than it does her cancellation policy. It would’ve been nice to receive a full refund but I was accepting of paying that fee in order to get out of that boarding situation.
My dog loves Gabi! They get lots of snuggles and walks in, and Gabi's services make my life easier. My dog is always happy to see her, and that is the most important part!
Gabi loves doggies and it shows in her compassion for the animals she has in her care. She's always been fantastic with my dog Josie and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone with a loving and caring touch.
Great dog sitter! She loves on my doggo as if he was her own. I get photos of their walks and when she has more than one 'client', video of them playing together. Definitely recommend Gabi for anyone looking for a quality, caring person to watch your fur baby(ies)!
Gabi took very good care of all of our cats as well as my very, we'll call him "excitable", dog for a week while we were out of town. She was able to manage all of them with ease and they were all very happy when we returned! We could not be happier!!!
Meredith has been an amazing friend to me and my crew for 10+ years! Her extensive experience with dogs shows as she provides astute observations about their behavior. Whether stopping by for a walk with my dog on days I’m at work or tending the house and all the pets (dogs and cats) while we’re out of town, Meredith takes care with everyone!
Meredith is the BEST. Reliable, affordable, friendly, flexible, and knows her stuff when it comes to what’s best for dogs. My two beagles LOVE her. Highly recommend.
Meredith is not THE all-out animal whisperer. A mother to our two cats when we are away. A mother once to our dear dog before he passed. A mother to us (who are, as you might recall, animals also). But beyond her magical abilities she is dependable, caring, responsible, affordable, fun, deeply intentional in all she does and is. I don't know what we and our two ka-girls, and our home, would do without her. Why even the owls in our woods speak to her when she is here.
I can’t think of a better person to entrust my dog with. Meredith is thoughtful, amazing with animals, very professional, and so caring. My dog loves Meredith and so do I!
Josie did a fantastic job with dog sitting our two dogs! We got regular updates and she followed all the feeding and medicine instructions that we had for our senior dog. They got regular exercise and got to play with her pets too! We absolutely recommend and will be using these services in the future.
We hired Walk and Wag over two years ago to walk our dogs everyday. We’ve worked with Robert the most, but everyone who has taken care of our dogs has been responsible, caring, reliable, punctual, flexible, and a great communicator. We’re grateful to have found this business!
Magnolia watches the door for her Walk & Wag companion to arrive. She knows that she will have both pats and a welcoming conversation before her walk: a walk around the neighborhood that matches her personality, fast paced but not too adventuresome. A friend referred us to W&W because Magnolia was young and full of energy. We now enjoy an important relationship for our family because we trust the walkers implicitly. In addition to offering walkers with superior dog skills, the customer service at W&W is remarkable. If you have a pet, you understand how the variety of schedule changes and vet visits can affect a typical scheduled dog walk. Walk & Wag understands life with a pet!
Love Walk & Wag --10 STARS from our family & Twix, our Boykin Spaniel. Megan, Kayla and owner Lisa have been keeping Twix happy and healthy with daytime walks for several years. Very loving team! We also get pictures and notes after each walk. Absolutely happy with Walk & Wag! RECOMMEND 100%!
I can't say enough good things about Lisa and her team of amazing dog walkers/caregivers. The Walk & Wag team is very professional, reliable, trustworthy and caring. We always know our pup is in the best hands when she is with her W&W friends. Our dog has a lot of anxieties and her caregivers from W&W are always sensitive to her needs. We get very thorough reports while we're gone (with pictures!) which is always reassuring. We are so grateful to have W&W taking care of our pup when we can't be here. We'd highly recommend their services to anyone.
Walk & Wag has been very helpful in taking care of my 3 kitties. We contacted W&W in such short notice, only 4 days before my induction and so glad that they were able to accomodate my request. I was nervous because I've never left my kitties with a sitter before and one of my cats needs her daily asthma medication but Natalia reassured me that everything's going to be alright and that my kitties are in good hands. Natalia was wonderful with my kitties, she reported everything in detail and provided us with pictures as well. Scheduling and communication was a breeze. This was my first time using a pet sitting service and I am glad to have W&W. Thank you W&W! Highly recommend! ❤️
I can’t say enough good things about Walk & Wag! Our dogs (and cats!) love Allison and their regular visits with her. We know our pets are in good hands and it’s a comfort working with a respected business rather than an individual just in case someone is unavailable. We’ve trusted them since we moved to the area about 18 months ago and highly recommend both for daily visits and overnight pet sitting.
Walk & Wag is excellent! Lindsay is amazing and our puppy loves seeing her. Megan has helped out a few times too and also is wonderful with our dog. Thanks to Lisa and the team!
Walk & Wag provides outstanding service. They are professional, reliable and most of all - shower my dog with affection. We have relied on them for walking our young golden retriever in the daytime when she needs extra exercise, but have also had them stay overnight when we had to go out of town. They could not have taken better care of the house or dog. The business name is appropriate because when either Lisa or one of her associates arrive, Maisie runs to the door and wags her tail with great enthusiasm. She loves them - and we do too!
Highly, highly recommended. Lisa and her team are terrific, and we know our dog is in excellent hands. Our dog adores our regular walker. When I see them together, it is all big wags, dog smiles and kisses. We get wonderful photo updates from the walks, scheduling is always straightforward. Our regular walker has taken the time to understand our pup and her quirks, and we are so grateful for that. When our regular walker is not available, our 'substitute' walker has been wonderful, too, and we had the chance to meet her beforehand.
Walk & Wag....what would I do without Lisa, the owner, and Vanessa, walker of fur babies. I've been using this company for almost a full year now and feel confident in recommending W&W to others. From our first encounter, when they came to my place for a meet and greet, I was made to feel at ease that my pup would be cared for. Fast forward to now....I don't even cross paths with Vanessa, yet she has become one of the most important people in my life. I've grown used to my early afternoon texts with an update on how the walk went and even a pic of my pup while out on his walk. I feel comforted by the fact that my pup gets to see the same person, and not a revolving door of different dog walkers that lacks a relationship of trust. I also love supporting a local business. I can't shout the praises of W&W loud enough. And I can be certain that you will too!
I cannot give these guys high enough praise. We were nervous as we are foster fails and recently adopted our 2 year old girl without receiving much info about her - and therefore unable to give the team much to go on either. This was her first grooming session and she had matting all over her body (at the base of her coat), so we were expecting a close shave. What we received when we got her back was an entirely new dog and she became super confident in the space of a couple of hours! Thanks so much to the Love Overboard Team for taking care of our nervous girl. She is so soft, smells amazing, and has been jumping around showing off her new ‘do. You navigated a potentially difficult situation with great care and awesome customer service! Will definitely be back!
We have been struggling to find a groomer for our yorkies and we took them to Love Overboard and they did an absolutely fantastic job with our girls. Their ears and faces look so clean and even. The price was better than some other places we have tried and the staff was nice and I know the dogs were happy. Thank you so much - we will be back for sure!
One of the best haircuts our cocker spaniel has ever gotten. I was expecting a "shave", but they took their time to detangle all of his mats, which was not easy. Needless to say, we will be back. So happy we found this place! UPDATE: We became regulars!
Probably the best grooming job my Australian Shepherd has ever gotten! I’m sure it helped proving printouts of what I wanted the end product to be. Great job of removing undercoat, too!
They always do such a good job with my senior dog. Even after I moved to Durham I keep coming here. Their service is also reasonably priced!
Wonderful dog treatment. They were able to groom my two dogs while I visited the area. Best of all, the visit didn't break the bank! Super friendly staff that took wonderful care of our fur babies.
What a great place! I really think my dog enjoyed his self he came back with a even higher jump then the one he was doing prior to me dropping him off lol, so it’s obvious they were entertaining his high jumping skills. I will definitely bring my baby back, I let him stay for 5 days and they welcomed me and was very nice and they reassured me that he is in great hands so I was able to really enjoy my trip ! ThNks guys for the awesome work and I will be back soon matter fact for his grooming needs too.
They are so good to my cats! They are kind people that love to serve. Hawthorne, Beauregard, and Duchess are happy and content when they come back from getting their nails clipped. I appreciate they always greet my babies with lots of love!
I have an English bulldog and she needs a lot of care. I brought her there for boarding for three weeks while I was waiting for my home to be ready. I was very sad about leaving her there. They took care of all her needs, which was quite a bit. They played with her. She was happy there. I went there every day and took her for a walk. They’re always friendly and very caring. Also, they are not over priced. I was very happy to have my Marley with them. I strongly recommend them.
I LOVE everyone at Love Overboard. Eric does a phenomenal job grooming my Pomeranian, Scootie. He always comes home looking great and happy!
Laughing Dog takes great care of my cats when I travel. One of my babies has an autoimmune disorder, requires two daily medications and an extra level of attention to his behavior changes. I feel very confident about him receiving the best care with LD since the owner was previously a vet tech. 😻 …
Jen and her staff are very knowledgeable and compassionate pet caregivers! I know when I have to leave my fur babies at home they are well loved and cared for by Jen or any of the Laughing Dog’s staff. We recently started working more with Jen since we just got a puppy several months ago. Her puppy training packages are worth their weight in gold! Our new puppy, Stevie Nicks, is very high energy and we couldn’t have made it through the early puppy stages without Jen. Highly recommend laughing dog for all your training, walking, and sitting needs.
My pup and I have been working with Jenn and her team at camp and 1:1 training for a little under a year and I have been blown away. I have a very sweet but overly excitable, reactive, border collie/lab who has a hard time meeting new pups. Jenn has taken the time to really grow to love and understand my dog to help us develop better communication, allow my dog to be more confident, and troubleshoot ways to relax her nervous system to reduce her reactivity. I’m so grateful for the amount of empathy and compassion Jenn shows me and my dog, always meeting us exactly where we are and never being judgmental/talking down to me, which is an experience I have had with other dog trainers. Jenn and her team are my dog’s best friends, my pup loves them more than she’s ever loved anyone outside of her immediate family. It is very clear to me how much Jenn cares for my dog and wants us to succeed. She is flexible and adaptable to what works best for my pup, isn’t focused on old school dominance mindset, and clearly just genuinely loves to see dogs evolve into their best selves. Working with Laughing Dog has changed me and my pups life! I highly recommend working with them :) The only thing to keep in mind is that Laughing Dog is growing and evolving and is a small business with a small team so schedules are not always consistent/last minute cancelations happen now and again. This works fine for us but this camp might not be the #1 option if consistent and reliable schedules are necessary for you (I can’t speak to dog sitting/walks - only camp). I will be forever grateful to Laughing Dog! I can’t say enough about how wonderful this team is :)
Trust me, I don’t let “just anyone” have access to my best friend. I’d never had a dog walker before and I was very nervous…IMMEDIATELY my dog took to Jen and her genuine nature. Haven’t worried since that first meeting. I get a report, sometimes pictures. There are days they walk, days they just play, days they might cuddle and hang in the yard. My dog knows what he wants (!) and Jen reads his needs. Such a comfort to know someone cares for your pet much as you do. I can’t give Laughing Dog enough stars….
Jennifer & Whitney truly make your animals feel like theirs. So much trust and love and family style professionalism. Highly recommend!!!
The entire crew at Laughing Dog are amazing. They genuinely care for and look after your pets, making sure they are happy and have everything they need, so you don't have to worry. Beyond pet care they also help run events and raise money for animals in need, helping to look after the community just as much as they look after your pets.
My two cockatiels loved staying with Lynn and the folks at Noah’s Ark. If anything, there were times they seemed to be sad to leave! Their prices are reasonable, they were super flexible with my travel schedules, and they took amazing, well-informed care of my baby birds. Lynn also checked in over text, so I knew I would be in the loop if anything happened. I boarded my birds with them several times over the course of a year or two, sometimes for multiple weeks at a time, and I never had a bad experience. I have since moved out of state and miss them dearly. I have seen them board anything from gerbils to fish to lizards. If you need boarding for your pet while you’re out of town, consider Noah’s Ark!
I can not rave enough about the awesome staff here! Although our dog, Cali was not a perfect fit for their specific facility, they provided an excellent 2 hour trial for her. Lynn, Ellie, and the whole staff is absolutely phenomenal and I can tell they truly love/care about animals. They were kind enough to send some photos of Cali after we dropped her off, which is always a nice gesture. Definitely would recommend to others looking(:
I have boarded two of my dogs and they were treated so well!! They got good baths and their nails clipped as well as being taken outside for walks. Christina does such a great job too, spends time just loving and playing with them. Appreciate all they do !!!
Had left my dog for 5 days. Picked up dog who had a cut on his face that I was not informed of prior to pick up. Had paid for nail clipping which did not appear to have occured. Was told I would receive an update with a picture of my dog during his stay which was never sent my way. My dogs blanket was being washed when I came to pick him up on his scheduled day and I was told they would let me know when it was finished so I could pick it up. I never received a call or message. The facility is very cramped. 2 of the 3 times when I came into the waiting room no one was around to help for extended periods in the middle of the business day. Based on the other reviews I had high hopes but I will not be using them again.
I cannot even begin to thank this crew for how much they have saved me this week with my new puppy addition! I was not ready to leave the little guy at home, so upon short notice, they have taken my pup for day boarding during a hectic week with absolutely no fuss about it! He is still very young, so even pup day boarding made me nervous. I appreciate the consciousness taken to care for each individual dog’s needs and not lumping him into a crowd. After day one, Marshall took to this team extremely well and now grabs his leash from me in the lobby and off he goes…he is just as happy on the other side when I come to pick him up. I feel this to be the best outcome when trusting a small business with your furry best friend! I have decided to day board once a week to let him socialize and become more comfortable being away from us for bits of time! Thank you to the Ark team for loving my fluff ball!
We love the ark. The people are supper friendly and got back to me fast. They took great care of my 5 year old dog I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else.
Our dogs love being boarded here together. The staff sends us regular picture updates and always brings out the pool for our water-loving pups. Here’s one of our favorite pics from a recent stay
Noah's Ark was great. They handled my dog's medication and her particular diet. Plus they gave her individual attention and they were willing to give me updates throughout my trip. I'll definitely be taking my dog here again.
This place is top-notch, they take excellent care of my dog, and he clearly had a wonderful time as evidenced by the many pictures I was sent. I will be back.!
It’s a great place to board your animals, though recently i tried to board my animals at that place and called Noah’s ark, emailed, and tried to contact the owner and never got a response. I used to never had an issue with that until i no longer worked at Noah’s ark. It would been nice if they responded and just told me look we do not want you to board your animals here, i would respect that, but instead they ignored my calls . I thought the people i worked with, were kind and respectful, they were when i worked there and even before i worked there, but since i left Noah’s ark they pretty much ghosted me . It is super disrespectful and unprofessional in their part for doing this. Though i know there is two sides of a story or a reason why they are doing this, and i do not know their reason, but i hope they do not do this to other people, because its really good place to board their animals. I really was debating on writing a review but really wanted people to know that this is what is going on. And hope it does not happen to them. I really respected the workers and the owners there, but now, i am re thinking it.
If you want your pet to be treated like family, then MoPups NC is just the place for you. I have two pups that are near and dear to my heart, and when I send them over to MoPups, I know they are in great hands, having the best time! Maura + Bryan are professional, reliable, they listen to your requests and needs, and they execute! Their customer service is spot on! I never feel like I have to worry when my pups are there. That's how it should feel. I highly recommend MoPups!
MoPups NC has been such a great daycare for our new puppy, Elmer. With two working dog parents it’s great for him to be able to play with the MoPups dogs! They always send us updates on how our puppy is doing during the day, usually with cute pictures! Our pup loves going to daycare here and loves all of the dog friends he’s made along the way!
Maura and Bryan are amazing at what they do! Your pups are in great hands when they stay with them. Their house is set up perfectly to accommodate dogs for boarding and daycare. They’re also extremely professional during home drop in visits and walks! Such a great and trustworthy business!
Our dog absolutely love MoPups! We've been using their services since she was 8 weeks and she is now 2.5 years old. It's always a relief to know your dog is in good hands when you're out of town or at work. She hardly misses us cause she always has such a good time at daycare with her friends. We couldn't have found a better and more trustworthy people to take care of our dog and who loves her as if she were their own.
When I first got my pup, I was very nervous about who to leave him with. When I met Maura and Brian, I knew that I had met the perfect match for Jax. He starts excited exciting as soon as we turn on the street! He loves playing with the other pups and loves playing the backyard. It’s become his second home. They love Jax so well, and I’m so so glad that we found them!
Maura and Bryan took amazing care of my dog, Chloe, while I lived in NC! They are responsive, flexible, and Chloe was always excited to see them. If I still lived there, they would 100% still be my go-to sitters!
A sorry excuse for a business. They kicked my dog out of daycare with 0 days notice because she was too energetic and showed “no signs of slowing down” (she had been with them almost 2 years and they had voiced zero concerns about this specific concern prior)
Our pups absolutely love Maura and Bryan! They're very responsive and available. We know the pups love them because they get excited when they come to the door. They will accommodate overnight trips or stop in and send us the cutest pics to let us know they were there. I would highly recommend MoPups!
Wow, where to start and what to say about our incredible experience with Kate's for our kitty-care... Let's start with our two spoiled princesses, Mimi and Dora, one inside and one outside that we dote-on daily. As we had planned to fly out of town, their care was a huge stress-point for us, and we researched a service for weeks. Add to that is the home-security factor as well. Having Kate's team being so experienced, and secured, we've found that not only peace-of-mind, but an invaluable part of our support system for our kitty-girls. However, even more than that, is the incredible and amazing care and attention to detail they brought to the service, and... AND... connected us with Michelle who unbelieveably bonded instantly with our ultra spoiled indoor kitty Mimi (who warms up to noone). Not only did Mimi bond with her, she loved Michelle's coming over! We have the camera footage, plus Michelle's awesome daily photo's and video's too! It's almost impossible to convey our appreciation and happy stun-factor, but EPIC is probably the best word! 5 Platinum Stars Incredible!!!!!
We absolutely love Kate’s Critter Care. We’ve used them a few times now and they really give us peace of mind when leaving our 3 cats alone at home. We would like to give a shoutout to our most recent caregiver Jane, who responded extremely quickly for an emergency visit after we realized one of our cats was stuck behind our refrigerator (seriously, cats are troublesome as they are cute). It was after 8pm, but Jane was at our house in 10 minutes and with the help of some neighbors, our kitty was freed. Honestly, don’t know what we would have done without her!!
I hate leaving my dog, but Kate's Critter Care made it so much easier! Beth was amazing! She provided updates throughout the visit and so many adorable pictures of my dog. My dog is high anxiety, and Beth really took the time to work with her and get her trust. Our flight got delayed, and I texted Beth and she was able to add another visit on super short notice to check on my dog. Highly recommend!
We've been using Kate's Critter Care for a couple years now, and it gives us so much peace of mind. Mariana is a magical human that has completely won over our kitties. She is the only other person besides us that one of our cats will come out of hiding to spend time with. The sliding scale has also been helpful so we can adjust our rate a bit based on where we're at in life while still receiving such great care for our boys. While Mariana is our regular sitter and pretty much another family member to us at this point, we have also always received great care from the other folks with Kate's Critter Care (including some special on-call cat sitting when I went into labor!).
Kate's Critter Care is incredible. We have been using them for about five years to come to our house and watch our cats when we go out of town. Special shoutout to Rosemary who is absolutely wonderful and takes care of our cats as if they were her own! Thanks KCC for great service and allowing us to always know that our cats are taken care of.
I never write reviews but I have to express my infinite gratitude and appreciation for Kate’s Critter Care. I had a business trip scheduled, and then plans suddenly changed when a death occurred in the family unexpectedly. I was able to add and change services almost overnight, and my petsitter, Mariana, has been so excellent with my girls (they might like her more than me by the time I come back!). I feel so much more at ease knowing someone can look after my cats in another state while I try to figure things out. Thank you to everyone at Kate’s!! (And featuring a photo of my babies taken by Mariana!)
We had recently moved to Durham when we needed a weekend pet sitter. Setting up the pet services with Kate's Critter Care was very easy and meeting with Rachel was great as she was very warm and caring. She stayed with our dog for the weekend and helped relieve both our anxiety and his when we had to leave him behind to go on vacation. Rachel did a great job caring for our dog and our house while we were away. I would definitely recommend Kate's Critter Care to anyone with pet needs!
Kate's Critter Care offers great service and has taken great care of our 2 cats while we are away! Whether it is a long weekend away, or a two week vacation we can always rely on receiving a daily update. We are always able to book a sitter, even when we wait until the last minute. Although I recommend booking in advance, especially around the holidays to get the sitter of your choice. We have 3 sitters in rotation now and all of them have been wonderful to work with. I highly recommend Kate's Critter Care.
I was a client of Kate's for 1.5 years, until we moved to a neighborhood outside the service area. We have a menagerie of animals, but the primary client was our aging dog, who received exceptional care through Kate's Critter Care. Kate is very responsive, responsible, attentive to detail, and trustworthy. She is also very reasonable and flexible. All of our sitters were wonderful and went the extra step as they provided care and medications to our dog, who a was always eager to see his sitters. Overall, we felt that our pets were in caring and capable hands. We were very happy with the services received and would recommend Kate's Critter Care without reservations.
Kate's Critter Care has been an exceptional company to work with. They are extremely friendly, professional, accommodating, and easy to use. We would highly recommend their service to anyone. We have 4 large dogs that can be quite a handful at times and our sitters have been wonderful with them. We have always come home from our trips to happy, well cared for dogs, and a tidy home. Thank you for such a wonderful service!
I was referred to Cozy Creatures almost ten years ago. I have a rescue dog who had serious fear and anxiety issues. I had to be very careful finding someone who could deal with these issues. Michael has been walking my dog at least four days/week and Ponie has been managing my fluctuating schedule all this time. I don't have one negative word to say about their care. Michael worked patiently and gently with my pup and he is now part of her limited family. He is one of the few people I absolutely trust with her. He gives her so much love and kindness and has gone over and beyone the call of duty, cleaning up her occasional messes and leaving me notes on a regular basis about their walks together. He is always good-humored and extremely dependable. I have had to ask, on several occasions for schedule changes and Ponie handles them with grace and generosity. I am still waiting for her to say "no, we can't" and that would be okay. However, she always finds a way to help me out. I consider Michael and Ponie family. My pup is my love. I interviewed other folks when I was looking for someone to walk my dog but no one impressed me as much as Cozy Creatures. They are professional, reliable, warm and loving people. I feel priviliged to have found them. Susan Kandel
Working with Michael and Ponie was a very positive experience. After a week away, I came home to a clean house with content pups. When one has a large pack it is hard to feel comfortable going out of town. Michael checked in with us regularly.
For more than 20 years I have known the owners of Cozy Creature and the person they suggested to Joel E when he called at the last possible minute to ask for help over the holidays. (Cozy Creature was already completely booked with their long-time, regular clients.) This person has pet-sit for me on a number of occasions. The only reason she was suggested to him and the only reason he was able to get her to come in – at all – to take care of his cats at the last possible minute before the holidays was because she happened to be a nearby neighbor and wanted to be helpful and friendly. On one of the occasions when this person worked for me, I was gone for 10 days. During that time, my cat got bitten by a snake (as we now know) and became ill. He threw up 14 times in 24 hours—many times on my carpet! This person cleaned up every single mess. Thoroughly. She also called me to ask if I wanted her to take him to the vet. When I got home, everything was in order and my cat (one of several pets in my household at the time) was very much improved. In fact, I gave her an extra $100 because of the trouble she had gone through in caring for a suddenly very sick cat who made such messes. (She deserved more, but I didn’t have more to give.) Knowing Cozy Creature and knowing the person they referred to Joel E., I have a lot of trouble believing his story. The people he describes are not the people I know. Here are a few issues his story raises for me: (1) Why did he wait until the last minute before what is probably a pet-sitter’s busiest time of year to try to get someone to care for his cats? (2) The person who watched his pets is not an employee of Cozy Creature. He did not sign a contract with Cozy Creature, which is their normal way of doing business. He made a deal with a neighbor. So why is he attacking Cozy Creature? (3) But for that matter, why is he attacking the work of his neighbor, who tried to just be friendly and help him out? When were the pictures he posted actually taken? Without a date and time stamp, we only know they were uploaded and posted to Google sometime in January 2020. (4) Apparently two weeks passed between when he returned home and when he posted his review here. When he met with his neighbor after he had returned home, to pay her and get his key back, why didn’t he say anything to her? Why wait for two weeks and then post an attack on a completely different entity (Cozy Creature) using pictures that actually prove nothing? (5) About the lady who did the job for him before the neighbor took it on---I have questions. First of all, if he was so happy with her, why didn’t he hire her this time, too? Second of all, he said that this superior person had sent not just pictures to him every day, but **videos**. Why? Is it because she had prior experience with him and knew that if she didn’t document her every move, every day, he would accuse her of doing shoddy work? Could that, in fact, be why he didn’t get her to do the job again this time – because she didn’t want to work for him anymore? No way to know, of course, but I’m really surprised by the “sending a video every day” thing. Makes me wonder. The bottom line is, in a heartbeat I would (and do) trust Cozy Creature and the person to whom they referred this guy. Him, however, I’m not so sure about.
Ponie and Michael have been caring for our cats when we are away for nearly 10 years. We have found them to be extremely reliable and professional - and we always come home to content kitties and a clean house (and clean litter box)!
As for the rebuttal by Brenda Denzler, please see the pic I attached to see how reliable a person she is, believes in UFOs. Though they didn't directly handle my pet sitting needs, they directed me to someone who they partner with. I was gone a week. The litter box had a pool of urine in the bottom when I returned and because the box wasn't cleaned properly and the litter replaced, my cat peed all over my bed ruining my mattress, sheets and comforter. Before and after pics attached. The litter is completely saturated with urine and when I emptied it, there was still a pool of urine underneath. What possible benefit would I derive from wasting my time writing a bad review? What does it matter how long I waited to post my review? I have more important things to do with my life but I felt it necessary to warn others. The person was described as "someone we partner with, use all the time and recommend" which to me is a personal professional reference which still directly reflects on the refreshing business. The logic of this other reviewer saying how they have had no problems for 20 years is like saying, "I used my doctor for 20 years and didn't die. The fact that someone else died from his malpractice must be a lie.". What does waiting for the last minute have to do with receiving bad service? It's irrelevant. So if I go to the doctor at the last minute, it's ok if he kills me? My guess is the other reviewer (only 1 review by the way) has a personal stake in this, maybe the lady who provided the service or a good friend protecting their own? How did she know so much about the details surrounding our business transaction? Looks like an old bitty with too much time on her hands. I have no time to doctor pictures and give phony reviews. I'm a 20 year accounting and IT professional having a high level of unquestioned integrity and sense of morals having worked for some of the biggest corporations in America including the US Navy, Ford, Cisco and Walmart. The one picture was taken on my return. The other after I put clean litter to show the difference.
Simply the best. We've been using them for over 11 years and have never had any reason for concern. We recently were away for over a month and came back to the cats, the plants and the house all in remarkably good shape. They even found a way to get Prozac into our small orange terror. They have always been available even on short notice. Thanks
Excellent pet sitter. In business for decades. Very trustworthy and truly loves animals.
Marley's Angels was an incredible experience for our family. Kyle treated our dog with such kindness. She went above and beyond with her care. We got regular photos and constant communication. We really appreciate what Kyle did, for not only our pup but, the peace of mind for us to enjoy the time away. This was arguably the best money we spent on our time away. We will absolutely be working with Marley's Angels again.
We have two outdoor spayed feral cats and one house cat that were taken care of by Marleys Angels for the first time recently. Kyle did a great job and kept me informed via text message each evening. Knowing the cats were fed & cared for allowed me to enjoy my vacation time with family! Thank you!
Kyle is an amazing pet sitter for our four cats, one of which requires insulin twice a day. She has dealt with difficult situations (ie - cats hiding) with grace. She takes the time to not only administer medication, but to play with our cats and send photos. I'm ao grateful for her and consider myself lucky to have found her! :)
Kyle was such a loving caregiver for our sweet dog, Maddie. She went above and beyond just walking and feeding Maddie. Kyle even texted us daily photos of her, and clearly Maddie was content and happy! We are truly grateful to have found such a caring dog lover if we have to go out of town. We would certainly use her again and recommend her highly! 🐶🙏💖
Kyle was amazing in looking after my cats. One of them was an EXTREMELY poor pill taker. Kyle wouldn't give up. She did everything possible to give my cat her pills. I appreciate her trying so much. I will need to board the cat at the vet next time, but Kyle will be the one I call to take care of the other two. She is professional, responsible and responsive.
Kyle is just the best. I'm so grateful for her excellent care of my kitties. She always sends thoughtful updates and spends quality tune with them.
Absolutely awesome pet-sitter and walker! She was able to accommodate us after a last minute change of plans. When she came to meet with us, our dog was absolutely in love with her : ) For the 3 days we were out of town she kept excellent communication, and sent daily updates along with pictures of our dog. Highly recommended!
Kyle did a great job looking after my cats while I was out of town. She went above and beyond and even sent me pics and updates. I was out of town 5 days and when I came home they were puurfectly content.
Kyle is awesome. She's very laid back and my creatures (all four plus my neighbor's visiting cat) loved her immediately. I trust their judgement...
She is caring and professional. She goes above and beyond walking your pets. She is accommodating and treats every animal as if it were her own. You won’t be disappointed.
