If you are lucky enough to get Chris and Geoff to request a house sit, say yes quickly! We went overseas for a whole month and left our dog... who is nothing short of my animal bestie. They walked her every day(twice!) and stayed near her for large chunks of the day... and they also did magic on the garden -- keeping our newly planted trees alive and our garden thriving. Within the first few days of their house sit, we had some exchanges on text that showed me how wonderful Chris and Geoff would be-- making themselves at home in our neighborhood and with Lucy. I was able to enjoy my holiday even more because our dog and home were deeply cared for. Lucy's behaviour when we returned was noticeably settled. She had not gained weight or becoming clingy like she has in past when I left her. I think she misses them. :-) Thank you, Chris and Geoff!

Animal-loving couple ready to care for your pets like they're our own!
Juliet was absolutely great! Somehow I entered the dates for our sot wrong and she was so helpful with working it out so we could have coverage even though it was TOTALLY my mistake. We have a couple animals with medical conditions that need daily medication and monitoring and she took great care of them. She took our big dog on a couple hikes while we were gone and I honestly think he may have been a bit disappointed to see us! She’s a great communicator and kept us well updated. Thanks Juliet!!

Audra and Chris both sat for our kitties, and they were fantastic, among the best sitters we have had. Audra was our primary contact and she is a highly effective communicator and has great attention to detail. She sent wonderful updates with pictures every day which we really appreciated. The kitties clearly loved them and got a lot of attention and were very content upon our return. The house looked exactly how we left it. They clearly followed our guide to the letter as every aspect of house and cat care was followed to a T. I could not recommend them more highly.

From the moment we spoke with Graham & Jordan, we had complete confidence that our home and most importantly, our pets would be in good hands. They are a lovely couple and are so good with animals. I'm pretty sure our dog wanted to leave with them! We didn't ask for regular updates, but they sent us photos and kept in touch. Rather mortifyingly, our tap in the kitchen decided it would be a good time to spring a leak, and Graham was in touch immediately to let us know and help us troubleshoot remotely. The house was immaculate on our return. We would heartily recommend Graham & Jordan and would welcome them back if they wanted to explore more of Irelands wild west in the future.

She is a cat guru and took good care of Emmylou — who was glad to see me when I got home, but was not obviously stressed by my absence. Ciara is systematic, self contained, and self sufficient. For instance she solved her own WiFi issues without needlessly involving me. I supplied cleaning services every two weeks. I was happy with the job that Ciara did for me and Emmylou.

She left the apartment spotless which was so nice to come home to along with happy kitties. We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Early in 2023 I went searching for a sitter to sit with our Lizzie for a month. I found Lori during my search and I am so happy I did. Lori’s reviews are all five star and I can fully attest as to why. Lori was so friendly and kind and I could tell from the moment she met Lizzie that she would take great care of her. I received daily pictures of her and Lizzie snuggling and I couldn’t have been happier knowing my girl was receiving a lot of love. Lori left our home in wonderful shape (probably better than I left it for her). She took great care and was very conscientious of all my plants. We even came home after a very long day of travel to some wonderful chicken soup. Lori will take wonderful care of your home and your precious pet. Laura is incredible! For starters, she is a clear and considerate communicator who is reliable and trustworthy while setting up details for a sit in advance. From there... where do we start?! Laura (and her sister Stephanie, for a few days) took care of our cat & dog for a week-long sit. We were immediately at ease with both of them, and it was clear that they were excited to meet our pets and love them, and relaxed and comfortable in this role. They asked informed and curious questions about our pets, routines, and the surrounding area to set up a successful sit. When we departed, our dog hardly seemed to notice, because she was getting to know her new people! The snuggle-fest and hiking adventures that took place while we were gone resulted in happy pets who were calm and content. We received daily photos, which were heart warming, and assured us that dog hugs and cat exercise were taking place. Our dog is very affectionate, and Laura made sure that she received plenty of love while we were gone. Upon return, our home was spotless - tidy and clean (possibly cleaner than when we left, and we tried really hard!) We are games people, and Laura left us some of her favorite games to play (yay), and gifts for our pets, which were so fun to open when we got home. Everything was so thoughtful and kind. Laura is absolutely one of the top sitters we've ever had, and we are so grateful for her care. She went above and beyond basic home/pet care, and her compassion shines through in all of her communications and actions. She (and Stephanie) are welcome anytime, and we (Zora and Morris especially) hope they will come stay again!

Jeremy and Brooke were fantastic! We have a senior dog and a over hyper pittie. They gave Daisy her meds and had lengthy walks with Fin to burn off some of his energy. Brooke sent me regular texts to show me precious pictures of the pups by the Christmas tree, which warmed my ❤️. The house looked great when we returned.
