James and Darla arrived the evening before their sit, as we always do this with our sitters. We went out for a meal and had a lovely evening getting to know them both. They are a charming, intelligent and caring couple who could converse with anyone, about anything!!! Their care for our pups was immediately obvious, as they spent time interacting with all 3, to get to know them a little before we left on our trip the next morning. We received pupdates, videos and photos daily, to reassure us, and to give us our required "fix"! The house was spotless on our return and we came home to 3 very zenned out Ds, what a fabulous couple! We have no hesitation in recommending James and Darla, they are gentle, caring, dedicated and more than competent. We very much hope they will visit with us again, whether sitting or as guests, they would be most welcome!!!

Karen was one of the most organized sitters. She communicated regularly and did not hesitate to ask questions which we appreciated as it showed her concern for all of our animals. It was a lengthy sit of two weeks and she took amazing care of our home and animals. She was dedicated to making sure the dogs all had exercise and attention and successfully wrangled the goats even though she was sitting solo and had never tended to goats before. TH members would be very fortunate if Karen chooses their sits in the future, she is highly recommended!

I cannot recommend Macy highly enough as a house sitter. She recently looked after my home and my cat, Oreo, and did an absolutely fantastic job. Oreo is usually quite shy around new people, but Macy’s warm and gentle nature quickly won him over. She kept me updated with regular photos and messages, so I always felt at ease knowing Oreo was in great hands. It was clear that she genuinely cared for him, going above and beyond to ensure he was happy and well-cared for while I was away. When I returned home, the house was spotless, and Oreo was relaxed and content. It was evident that Macy had taken great care of both my home and my beloved pet. We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!
