As newcomers to zeewoi it was helpful to be able to invite and meet prospective sitters before our trip. Our top of the list pick was Sheila with her wonderful bio and many shining reviews. We were fortunate Sheila and her partner Dan were willing to come see our home and our two young cats three weeks before our trip. We connected instantly and agreed they would be a good fit to watch our kitties and home while we were gone. This was the first time we have left our kitties for more than one night, so we were a bit nervous. Sheila’s experience in making things comfortable for owners and animals put us at ease. Having she and Dan come to meet the cats beforehand was certainly an added bonus! Sheila kindly asked how often we would like photos and updates on the cats while on our trip. She provided the perfect amount of contact by text which allowed us a chance to offer up a few more tips on our cat’s habits during our travels. We could not be happier with Sheila and Dan’s care of our home and our kitties! What a great experience! Everything was spotless and cared for, our cats had new friends and so did we!

Taylor was AMAZING!!!! She loved on my fur babies as if they were her own. She was very communicative and sent pictures and videos everyday. Taylor is so kind and thoughtful. It was lovely to welcome Leslie and Allen back to our home. They came to our house 2 days earlier than scheduled as we had some sad news from the UK. They are a lovely couple and we now count them as very good friends. All of the animals were very well cared for and this year has been more of a challenge caring for Percy and Alice because of the amount of rain we have had which makes the grass much richer. So particular care has to be taken because of laminitis and they handled this perfectly. The cats were totally chilled out and not bothered that we had been away. We returned to a spotlessly clean house, much cleaner than we left it! and the garden had been maintained perfect. We now have 2 large lawns to cut so we are so grateful Allen managed to sort these during very challenging weather! It was fantastic to see Leslie and Allen and we would love them to come and stay at ours again. We were able to go on holiday and not have a single worry about our animals or the house. Our cats are independent in and out boys but upon arriving home last night two of them were in the house and looked healthy and happy. We have had Alexandra and Drake take fantastic care of our dog a number of times and will gladly have them back as much as they are willing! Their care for our dog goes above and beyond and is everything we could hope for in a sitter. The amount of love, attention, exercise, and play they provide our pup on a daily basis leaves us reassured that she is in great hands and that we will be coming home to a very happy pup. Our dog can be difficult at times on walks and Alexandra and Drake handle those quirks with such care and expertise. They know how to work with our dog to inspire confidence and make sure that she has great and safe experiences. I know that she thrives with them and is always so happy to have them back for more adventures! An added plus is that they always leave our house cleaner than they found it!

Angela did a great job caring for Willie for 10 days while we were out of town. I was able to meet Caitlyn and KJ prior to them house sitting for us, and we are always super appreciative when sitters are able to make that work and are willing to take time out of their schedule to come over and get the lay of the land. Their dog Sully was full of good boy energy and was a great playmate for our two Golden Retrievers. During the stay, Caitlyn & KJ sent us photos every day and followed all of our instructions for pet care to a T. They were super self-sufficient and gracious guests that left our place looking just like it did when we left, and we were very at peace knowing that our dogs were in great hands, getting lots of exercise, and romping around with new friend Sully. 5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Angela and Joe are wonderful house and pet sitters sitters in every way. They have a great loving way with animals and my shy dog warmed up to them right away. They are warm, organized, confident, and thorough. They communicated very well and gave me frequent updates and sweet photos of my dog Chica. They also took excellent care of my home. My only regret was that I didn't get to spend more time with them, because they're such lovely and interesting people. I give Angela and Joe my highest recommendation and feel that anyone would be very lucky to have them their sitters! I hope that they return to sit here again.

David was an outstanding house/pet sitter for our active pup Tosha, older kitty Rascal, and 4 chickens. Rascal came home with a deep, gaping wound the day before we left for 11 days, and David was very responsible in monitoring the healing process with photos and texts to us. He exercised Tosha in the neighborhood and local parks, and obviously enjoyed her company. Our house was spotless and extremely neat when we got home, which is always welcoming after a long trip. We are very grateful for the excellent care David gave to our precious pets and home.

Gowri was very patient and caring with Irisi who got sick the day before I left. I cannot commend her enough for how she rose to the occasion and took care of my baby. She even pick up meds from the vet. My cat, Squinty, was very comfortable with her to jump in bed and wake her up early in the morning (as he would with me). I am not aware of him doing that to other sitters that have stayed at my place. I would give her 6 stars for Pet care if I can! She updated me with Irisi's condition which really help ease my mind, knowing someone looking after my furry really cared. I would certainly have her back again!

They are so thorough and so many times have gone above and beyond the call of duty. I can get updates from them to hear how it's going, which is very reassuring. After boarding my little yorkie in kennels all around the area and always picking him up sick with kennel cough, or even a hurt leg, and taking weeks for him to unstress, I was very skeptical of everywhere. Just seemed no good solution for leaving him anywhere. I was referred to Christy, and was still skeptical until I met her and saw her place! She is so nice and her place is really clean and dog friendly! You can tell right away how great she is with dogs. She kept him for 10 days, and sent daily pictures and updates. I felt really good about where he was and how he was being treated. I picked him up and he was so healthy, happy and even bathed! So nice to be able to know I don't have to stress about going away anymore and what I will do with Max! Thank you so much Christy, you're a gem!

Christina is fantastic! She took care of our large, energetic puppy, Charlie, for 8 days. This was my first time boarding a pet, so I had concerns. But Christina eased all of those right away. She was very quick to respond to my inquiry and asked all the right questions to learn about our puppy. While we were away, Christina sent pictures, videos and updates daily. She even made homemade food to add to Charlie's kibbles! Upon pick up, I could tell Charlie felt very comfortable with Christina and had had a great stay. She is the only boarder I will call next time we have a need.
This is Molly my puppy who spent 3 nights at Christina's pet sitting. Molly made new friends and enjoyed her time. Christina sent pictures every day of activities that Molly was involved in with other dogs and cats as the picture shows. At first I was a bit apprehensive leaving my beloved dog with someone I did not know. However, upon meeting Christina and seeing the way she treats her own dogs and how clean her house is I felt very comfortable leaving him there for a few days. I highly recommend Home Away from Home, Christina's Pet Sitting and I would give her 10 stars if I could. Right away when I contacted Christina I could tell that she was very professional and cares a great deal about animals. Before my Mia came for the weekend we arranged for a meet and greet to make sure my dog would get along with her pets. Luckily, all went well. Mia had a great time at Christinas and she sent me daily pictures and updates which I truly appreciated. The name of her business accurately describes that it is a "home away from home" for your pet.
Our dog needed a sitter for one night at short notice. Christina was super flexible and helpful. It was the first time in our dog's life to spend a night without us. At 5 months old, he and Christina did a great job. The next day we picked him up safely. He was a little intimidated, but that was certainly due to the unfamiliar situation. Payment was made in advance. Everything went smoothly and in a friendly manner. If we need a dog sitter again, we turn to Christine.
Initially I was hesitant on the idea of boarding at a non traditional kennel facility, but boy was I wrong. My two fur children got the 5 star hotel resort and spa treatment. Christina is an absolute amazing sitter here in clearlake at Home away from home. Christina was extremely welcoming and showed me around her house and where the dogs would be staying. I was very pleased with how she was welcoming to my dogs who have never stayed in another persons home before. She sent updates throughout the stay, and plenty of pictures that made my work day go by quicker. She was extremely thorough and required all paperwork of current vaccines for both of my dogs which again, showed me that she was very careful and mindful of illness that may arise from not having vaccinated pets. When I came to pick them up, she even included a complimentary doggy dinner that she makes organically at home. I was so pleased with my dogs stay that we have decided to board with her weekly. Christina was an absolute delight and my pets had a great time! 5 stars!

I am a travel, nurse and work long hours at the hospital. I’m usually gone for 13 hours at a time, and am always needing a place to take my puppy when I work. Christina’s house has truly become my dog”s home away from home! Driving to Christina‘s house on a work day is what my puppy’s, Juniper favorite thing! She jumps into the car and wiggles all the way there. Juniper runs straight from the car to the door and rushes through the door when it’s opened!. If she could turn around and say to me how much she loves it here I think she would. But how happy she looks says it all!!!!
