Janis and her husband Dan were beyond phenomenal! Communication was great leading up to their arrival, especially with coordinating arrival and departure times. And during the sit, I got lots of picture updates throughout of how Isabel was doing. I could tell from the pictures how comfortable and happy my dog was hanging out with Janis and Dan and getting all the pets and attention. Coming home, everything was left so clean and organized. I definitely recommend them as pet sitters as they clearly took such good care of both my pup and my home.

Although the dogs were thrilled to see us when we returned, as we chatted with Annemarie, we could see them continuing to go to her for affection and cuddles. Not only did Krista take great care of our cat while we were away, she left the house cleaner than she found it. She also kept in touch with occasional photos and videos of kitty antics, which gave me peace of mind that the cat was well-cared for. Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. The dogs loved her and the shy kitties came out of greet her mid stay. She left our home immaculate and well cared for. She is truly a winning pet sitter in our eyes! Kyle was a great house sitter and pet sitter for us. We had a good dialogue prior to him sitting for us, and we also did a short walkthrough the week before. Kyle formed a great bond with our dog Charlie and also took good care of our rabbit Poppy. A couple of minor issues came up with systems in our home due to an unexpected power outage, and Kyle was quick to connect with us and then was able to work 1:1 with the service providers to resolve the issues. This is a great place to board you dog or train your dog on the amazing, manicured grounds. The several ponds on site are also great training amenities. Owner Jim does a super job of maintaining the facilities. Jim is also the person who takes care of your dog when you board. He treats each dog like they are part of his family. Jim is a great guy!!!
Jim runs the best kennel service of any we've used. He treats our dogs like they're his own dogs. This is my first choice anytime we need to travel without our dogs. Love Jim and Frost Hill Farms!!

My pointer stayed at Phoebe’s overnight while I went out of town. Their facility is extremely clean and organized! He stayed in a “large suite” which is a spacious room with a doggy door leading to a fenced outdoor area separate from other dogs. Everyone was so helpful and sent me updates and photos while I was gone. I would definitely recommend for anyone in the area if they need to board their dog!!!! Any special requests you have they will accommodate. I kept him separate from other dogs for personal reasons and they did just that & they played with him outside. He left happy and ready for a good nap. We will definitely be returning next time I go away 😁
This is where we got Arnold…(Phoebes/Fetch a Friend). He is a little bit of a nervous boy around other dogs, and they know it. They know Arnold very well and are super willing to work with him, his mama & daddy. Even though he is kept separate from other dogs, they always tell us how comfortable he makes himself and how much he and the staff enjoy his stay. They are literally the only place we trust our sweet boy with! ♥️
Phoebes K9 Resort and their staff is the best. Our dogs were incredibly well cared for each time we were away. For years they even spent the night there on Halloween! Phoebes is a pup’s home away from home, and the peace of mind that brings to their family is priceless. We send Phoebes our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for taking care of our Molly and Ginger like their own. Our community is very blessed to have them.
There was a misunderstanding with our dates for dogs to be boarded. Here I was leaving the next day , and dogs were down for different dates. Phoebe’s was very understanding , and squeezed my dogs in. I will forever be grateful for them to be so understanding. Thanks again for the great care of our dogs.

We booked a few overnights for our boy in August 2019. Coming from out of town with no chance to see the facility in person was a bit unsettling. I spoke with the staff a few times prior to our reservation on the phone and they were very helpful, pleasant, and put my mind at ease. Upon arrival I knew we had made a great decision. Staff was welcoming, facility was clean, and they were happy to accommodate our special feeding requests. We were able to bring our pup to his suite and get him settled in for the stay. The pics posted on FaceBook were awesome and definitely showed he was having a great time. When we picked him up he was happy as could be. Thanks Phoebe's for giving Lincoln a fun and safe place to stay for the few days he couldn't be with us on our vacation and for setting my mind at ease.
We were here for a dog basic manners class. The place is nice, clean and neat, smells good, bright and cheerful. Our teacher was great! I'm going to try their daycare. I was given a tour of the boarding area, and it looks good, too.

I boarded my dog at Phoebe's for my wedding weekend, and would highly recommend to anyone local to the area to visiting. Jamie and her staff were absolutely wonderful, making sure my dog Pluto was comfotable and safe. I knew he was in good hands and that I didn't have to worry about him. Our 2 dogs have been here several times now and we could not be more pleased! Our dogs have zero anxiety during drop off and during pick up, they are always in very good spirits. We have absolutely no hesitations or doubts about the excellent level of care and service provided by this wonderful family. Just knowing that our pets are as loved and well-provided for at Care-Free Canine as they are at home makes leaving them so much easier. I cannot say THANK YOU enough!
We have used Care-Free Canine a few times now and we have been happy with the care our beagle, Molly received each time. The home environment provided takes the stress off our dog that she would have if she was kennelled. She even got to sleep in her own crate at night. The last time we used Care-Free was when we had medical issues and they were very flexible in the time that Molly could stay there, since it turned out to be longer than we had anticipated. I would gladly recommend Care-Free Canine to anyone who wants a safe, loving environment for their dog to stay in.The rates are reasonable as well.

I left my two dogs for a week with them. One was 15 and I made them aware that she had an eye ulcer and it needed to be watched. When I picked them up my 15 year old dog had a horrible eye infection. Her whole eye was covered in a film of pus. For the life of me, I have NO idea how NO ONE noticed it! I was so upset that I ran out of the place. I don’t blame them for the infection, but the fact that no one noticed it. It was clear as day. All you needed to do was look at her face. I spoke to the owner and she was very apologetic. She thanked me for being so calm with them and said she’d pay for the vet bill. I sent her a copy of the bill, and haven’t received anything since. No call, no check, nothing. My dog is now deceased (not their fault). I’m VERY disappointed that a pet care service that charges so much could be this careless and not follow up on what they promised to do. I have attached a picture of her eye after I had wiped the pus off. I didn’t think to take one before.
I drive from Henrietta to Macedon It's a great place . The staff is great also. She's been going there for 3 years now. She gets her own bed and a tsp of peanut butter at lights out. There are no crates at all.
My dog came home more sociable with bigger dogs! He boarded for 1 week and came back better behaved, clean, and happy. All you could ask for. Creekside allowed him to keep his homemade meals he is used too.
My dog loves being kennelled there every 4 months or so when I visit my sister. The last time we were driving home he whimpered a little, I'm sure it's not because he missed me but because he missed all of his dog friends and the people there!
Dogs spend most of the time in concrete floored stalls with only a blanket if they are lucky. Dogs only go outside 4 times a day in fenced in yards with little to no grass. Proper safe dog handling tools are not available such as muzzles and or catch poles for aggressive dogs not as great a thay sound I would NEVER take any dog there
