My Lily Loves The Dog Cabin and the staff love her! The staff there are loving and consistent. True dog lovers. They know and love the pups, it shows. Lily is a high energy girl and comes home tired and happy! Highly recommend for you 4 legged friends.

The people that work at the Dog Cabin are the absolute best. Our golden retriever loves it there, I think not only because of the fun with other dogs but also the people who work there. We have dog care places close but we go out of our way to go there. Best in the business.

Staff at the Dog Cabin have always been friendly and have gone out of their way to accomodate late reservations and last minute changes in plans. Our dog Bullet is always well cared for and usually comes back all worn out from playing.

Winston when he goes to doggy daycare here h is so happy to go and happy to come home.he loves it there. Whenever there is a need for him to go there he is so happy and they lve him there too and it's close to home. So happy we found this place so close by too.

We LOVE The Dog Cabin! Our Coco girl gets excited the second we turn onto the street! She nearly busts down the door to get in the back to start playing with her friends! There is an array of dogs, some like to play some like to relax so your dog will fit right in! The staff is absolutely amazing and Coco loves them all! They are all so caring and attentive. They meet your dog’s needs, whatever they may be! Our pup is exhausted after a full day of playing, which is great for her high puppy energy! I don’t have enough nice things to say about The Dog Cabin and all of the staff!

My 13 year old Morkie is a nervous wreck when it comes to the groomers, but since switching to the Dog Cabin, she has been far less anxious and comes out looking and smelling great! The staff is super friendly and their services won't break the bank! 100% recommend the Dog Cabin!

I have been using The Dog Cabin for occasional boarding, grooming, and daycare since 2015. I have never used any other place as I have been 100% satisfied with the quality of care, services, facilities, and pricing. My last dog and current dog like going there. The staff is great to work with and show real concern for the well-being of my pets. The dogs come home clean, happy, and played out.

We've been taking our dog to Dog Cabin for about a year and a half now for daycare multiple times a week as well as boarding when we need it. She couldn't love it any more! The staff know her by name when she comes in and she always leaves pooped after a fun day of play. They are very receptive and flexible with scheduling and have essentially acted as a collective third parent for our pup. I would give them 6 stars if possible!

Very disappointed to give a 1 star review. I’ve recommended folks (including my friends) to use this place for more than a year but rescinding my recommendation now. Wouldn’t recommend this place for any dog owners that have a hyperactive dog. We used this place for over a year and a half and all of a sudden we were told that our dog was too hyperactive. The previous staff were great but none of the new folks are pleasant to talk to. They’re rude and condescending for sure. The guy is pleasant and soft spoken but not the staff. We were told only once in the duration that he went there that our dog was too hyper. We haven’t received any serious complaints. neither has anyone called us that our dog was not behaving. And we’ve left him overnight there. Yesterday, when we went to pick him up, we were just casually told that he’s difficult to control and that we weren’t welcome. I had checked the camera on and off during the day and could see at least 50 other dogs with only 2 people overseeing the dogs. With that amount of dogs in one room, things are bound to get difficult. Our dog has a routine that’s pretty quiet. He’s the only dog at home and usually spends the entire day with me when am working. The environment has definitely changed over time there. More dogs now as compared to when we started. I wouldn’t have chosen to write this review but our dog has been very sad since he returned from this place. He has not slept all night and has not eaten neither has drank water all day. We’ve been snuggling and comforting him all day. He definitely is depressed and am sure we’ll fix this over time. Disappointing that this happened to us. This is one time I wished he could talk and tell us what actually happened there.

Had All IV Paws come out to my home today to trim my senior Golden Retriever’s nails. Sasha was right on time, so friendly & super quick! Murphy’s nails look great — & he was so happy to make a new friend! ❤️🐾 …

I have been using this company to groom my cat for over a year now. Everyone that has come to my home have been professional and you can tell that they truly care about animals and they do a great job!

Hands down, BEST service I’ve ever had. My pup Poppy is a handful and needs a little extra patience when it comes to nail trims. Every one of the techs who’ve come have been so knowledgeable and kind and absolutely wonderful I can not recommend them more. They always respond in a timely manner and call if they ever run late (which isn’t often) it’s also incredibly easy to make appointments which for a busy person just is a cherry on top.

My cat Oscar has severe fear of dogs think he was attacked by one.Making it difficult to bring him in to grooming places I had Holly come to house to do his nails this morning. She was fabulous and was so marvelous with Oscar. Nails got done with ease and no freaking out on Oscar's part. Thank you Holly

I heard about the nail trim service and decided it was worth a try. Our dog Chloe would get so nervous going to the groomer to have it done. Jenna came on time and made friends with her. She stayed pretty calm throughout the nail trim and it was done in no time. Totally worth the cost to have an at home service with friendly, efficient staff. We will be using their nail trim service again.

All IV Paws Pet Care LLC is where it's at! I have 4 dogs and it's so much easier for someone to come to us than to hassle around and bring all of my dogs somewhere for nail trims. They all have different personalities and two of them are seniors. I have used them twice already for nail trims and they are very responsive and punctual. We hired Amanda two years ago to take care of our senior kitty who requires daily medications to control her seizures. We have found Amanda to be completely reliable, responsive, and totally caring for our pet and her well-being. We are away most weekends in the summer, and have never had a worry about our pet as long as Amanda was taking care of her. Meeting her and hiring her to take care of our pet was one of the best decisions we have ever made. We cannot say enough good things about Amanda and highly recommend her.

We brought our dog to for her first ever kennel stay yesterday. It brought us great comfort to know that she was able to go for a trail walk and get cuddles in our absence. Having an anxious rescue dog can make it difficult to find patient and compassionate care but we have found it at Larkin’s Run. She has stayed twice and we have only wonderful things to say. The owner and staff is professional and friendly. Great people!! For five dollars, your dog and chase the lure for two minutes. It's a safe and a fully enclosed course. I’ve always had a wonderful experience with Larkin’s Run. They take great care of my dog(s) while we’re away. Even though Hunter would rather be with our family, he knows that he’ll be in good hands until we pick him up again. Larkin’s Run is always our first choice when we have to kennel our furry family member.

The lure course is a must visit for dogs who love to chase. The grounds are perfectly manicured and it's a great value for the money. You're a lucky dog indeed when you're enjoying the exciting canine fun at Larkins Run!

Have been taking my Golden Retrievers there for years. When they trot off to their ‘home away from home’ they never look back which lessens the guilt for not taking them along on our vacations. They come home happy and clean.

Larkins is amazing!! They are so responsive and very reasonably priced. My dog got skunked early morning. I messaged Larkins on Facebook several hours before they opened, they responded almost immediately and told me to go ahead and bring my stinky dog in when they opened. Saved my day! Great place that has earned our trust over the years. They really know and love dogs. We can tell our dogs are loved and stimulated there, because when we come back from a trip, they're happy to see us, but don't act like it's an emergency, they're not depressed, or panicked to get out of there. Dogs don't lie!

Larkin's is the absolute best place to board your dog. As an experienced vet assistant and self proclaimed animal enthusiast (lol!) I have trusted Larkin's with my oh so finicky greyhounds for years. Absolutely love this daycare. I take my dog multiple times a week and she is always looked after. The staff are incredible and you can tell how much they care about the dogs. I’ve had safety concerns with my dog at other daycare, but not here. They have incredible safety measures and I never worry about my dog while she is there. I cannot emphasize enough how much I trust and love this daycare. Plus, they post the cutest pictures on facebook!

My dog is my baby, so much so that I cried the first day I dropped him off for the trial daycare. He had an absolute blast! I would bring him every day if I could. The staff is very attentive, communicative and so creative! I always pick up my boy and he's so happy and exhausted from a fun day of play! The pictures of him make my whole week! So grateful for the dedicated staff at this wonderful facility.

Ulti-Mutt Academy is a great dog day care with a safe and clean facility. Both of my dogs love it there, and always come home tired from a day full of fun. The owners/employees love their customers dogs as much as the dog parents do. Having a safe and trusted place to bring our dogs is a great relief. I can't recommend Ulti-mutt academy enough.

We have taken our Aussie to 2 other dog day cares before ulti-mutt and when we brought her to those other places she scratched and clawed not to be left. I hated dropping her. But at ulti-mutt it’s the exact opposite she is actually excited for me to leave her!! It’s insane. We couldn’t be happier with our experience. This has to be the best day care in CT. The staff is so friendly. They even did a doggie birthday party last week and our dog came home with a goodie bag!! I can’t say enough good things! A+

I contacted Shoreline Happy Paws when I injured myself and could not walk my rambunctious puppy. Adriana quickly set up an initial home visit and came up with a twice-a-day walk schedule, which was very flexible and accommodating. All the dog walkers I had a chance to meet were very friendly and genuinely caring towards my puppy. They would send me messages and photos on how the walk went, and provide me with valuable information and impressive (sometimes funny) pictures. Thanks to Adriana and her staff, my puppy has tremendously improved on leash walking. Maybe someday I can try hikes when my puppy is well behaved around other dogs. Adriana is fantastic. I have a 5 month old Siberian husky named Luna and she is a handful, I've had Adriana come by on days that I am traveling for business and usually she visits 3-4 times on those days to let Luna out, walk/play with her, clean up any accidents and feed her. She always texts me pictures and lets me know how Luna is doing which I love. Not only is she great with pets, she is also very thoughtful about your home - for example, last time I hired her she brought in 2 packages that were delivered, one of which was an 80 pound desk. I cant recommend Shoreline Happy Paws enough, having a dog sitter that is trustworthy, outgoing and truly passionate providing a great customer and pet experience is an incredible asset

Adriana and her dog walkers are professional, courteous and dependable. They helped us out during a family emergency with warmth and compassion, and I cannot recommend them more highly. We were lucky to have engaged Shoreline happy Paws when we did!

Our fur baby doesn’t like being left alone, and makes sure we know it, so after some research we called Shoreline to doggy-sit him during date night. We took into account the good reviews, insurance, and numerous certifications before reaching out. We built in a buffer to meet Adriana first before heading out and our dog was very comfortable and playful with her, so we felt calm heading out for dinner. Adriana texted us updates of how he was doing in the home and on his walk, and sent pictures. It was our first time leaving him with someone but we were able to enjoy a nice evening safe in the knowledge that our boy was in good hands. We were very pleased and will definitely be calling again if we need another night out!

I broke my foot last year, so I couldn’t walk my dog. I looked up dog walkers online (I was new to town at the time), and Shoreline Happy Paws was one of the first listings, so I gave them a call. From the moment my dog met Adriana and Chris, she was smitten. My rescue pup can be hesitant and super-shy, but she had the zoomies right away, and still runs out of the house to greet them every day. She has also been a reactive dog, traditionally, but in Chris and Adriana’s capable hands (and now with her new favorite dog walker, Abby), she is relaxed and happy, and utterly at ease with other dogs. It’s amazing to see the transformation in confidence she’s undergone. My foot has healed well, but I have kept the daily walks and hikes with the Shoreline crew because my pup loves them so much. (They’re also super-kind with people, too). 😄 I wholeheartedly recommend them!

Contacted Happy Paws with short notice before summer vacations. Adriana was very responsive and came over to see the layout. We have 3 indoor cats so they need attention daily. I cannot say enough good things about this Company. Each day we received a contact with pictures which was amazing. Very conscience when we were getting a storm before we returned since we had outdoor furniture from a previous party. Extremely happy with everything they provided and the price was affordable. They've got our business for as long as we continue to need the loving care they provide.

Shoreline Happy Paws came to our wedding rescue! We got married at dog-friendly Saybrook Point Inn in Old Saybrook, CT however, everyone we trusted to watch my baby was going to be apart of the wedding festivities! I am definitely over protective of my baby girl and can’t stand the thought of putting her in a kennel or leaving her with someone I don’t know or trust. I found Shoreline Happy Paws and meet with the owners a few weeks before the wedding. They were so sweet and kind to my very shy pup, I knew my pup would do well with them. The owners were extremely flexible and accommodating! On short notice they were able to watch my pup for a few extra hours while we attended our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. Day-of Adriana was there on time, had toys and treats, she helped us during a photo shoot, and stayed with my pup all day! She took pictures and sent us updates all through out her stay. My sister did a lot of the leg work day-of as I was a tad busy but my sister was so pleased with all the updates and communication Adriana shared with her. Shoreline Happy Paws was an absolute life saver! And to top it off they were so sweet by leaving us a little wedding gift! We will definitely be using them again when we are in the area!

Martha has been taking care of our two spoiled cats, one which Is diabetic and requires daily shots, for the past year. We feel comfortable leaving our cats in her care sometimes up to 14 days. She’s very trustworthy, reliable, and responsive to our many text messages or emails. She has been very patient with Our diabetic cat, who is also a calico, who is very persnickety and moody. I do not hesitate to recommend her as a pet sitter.

We were very happy with Candlewick Kennels in Glastonbury, CT. We boarded our furkid dog for 3 days. It was a great process from scheduling to check out. We signed him up for their doggy daycare while he was there so that he wouldn’t be alone all day. He had a free assessment before he arrived to be sure he would be a good candidate for mingling with a group of dogs. He passed and he loved it. We watched him on live CAMS. We knew he was happy. They gave him his meds! Staff is wonderful. He always gets groomed there.

Can’t recommend Candlewick Kennels enough! After a really bad experience at another local daycare/boarding facility, I was hesitant to bring my dog anywhere else — until I found Candlewick Kennels. I know my dog is in great hands here! He absolutely LOVES going to boarding / daycare. The staff is always so pleasant & I can tell they really care about all the dogs. They communicate any concerns immediately & are super responsive. Truly cannot recommend this place enough for any / all of your pet needs :)

This place is awesome. Great, friendly, efficient service at good prices. I had my Bernedoodle puppy’s first grooming done here yesterday and he looks like a brand new pup, in a great way!! Jessica did a fantastic job and we’ll be returning every month for a bath and brush at least until he’s a year old. And will continue to use for grooming.

I have been boarding my dog at Candlewick for the past 2 years. Also am frequently using daycare to keep him socialized. The staff is great and prices are similar to others. I love the web cam so I can check in whenever I want. I highly recommend.

Candlewick is the only place my wife and I are comfortable bringing our dog Iroh. The staff are always friendly, and remember him. Anytime he’s boarded their communication has been top notch. He once had an upset stomach while staying with them, and they called me and made a plan to add rice to his meals and keep us updated. We feel like he is safe and cared for, every single time. Doggie daycare is great, and they have live cameras so you can see how the dogs interact. There is always plenty of staff members. Their groomers are amazing and have an immense amount of patience. My dog is very energetic, and they do amazing work on him and he never comes home stressed. The groomer always checks what we want done first, and he comes home smelling amazing. This facility is 25 minutes from my house and we will never use anyone closer, peace of mind is huge.

Love letting our dog get social experiences here and feel comforted leaving her for extended boarding. Webcam option let's us check in whenever we like and report cards let us know how she behaved when we weren't looking

I don’t want to bring my dog to any other kennel. Some kennels you can sense when your pet does not want to be there if they stand at the door not wanting to go in. At Candlewick my dog has no problem with going with the staff. They really seem to care about peoples pets and not just treat them as an animal. I got texts from the staff when there was anything out of the ordinary happening with my dog. I love getting the snuggle sessions for my dog and getting the selfies texted to me. I would definitely recommend! You feel at ease sending your pet here and aren’t worried they are scared or miserable when you are away.

My dog Teddy previously went to multiple Petco locations over the years for grooming but the stylists always said that he gets nippy with them so recommend going to a private groomer. I have brought Teddy to Candlewick for recurring 7-8x week grooming appointments for the past 4 years and their report card always gives him high praises. This just shows that environment and space really do make a big difference when it comes to our fur babies wellbeing and comfort. I have not done the boarding service yet but will definitely not hesitate if needed to. Their app allows viewing of the playtime areas so you can virtually check to see how the pups are doing as well which is a huge win I think for dog parents. Teddy is an elder dog now so he likes being alone which Candlewick also accommodates for dogs who need to board solo. Overall great services, and super friendly staff! Thanks from me and Teddy!

Had such a good experience today for my dogs swimming lesson! Such knowledgable and caring staff. My Doberman sinks in the water, by the end of the lesson he was kicking all 4 feet! Can’t wait to continue and possibly do dock diving!

Had a great time at Millie’s first “Try It” session for dock diving! She loved it and both trainers were very helpful in their instruction. She did great and it made me so happy to see her do well!

We had scheduled drop off at 6:30 am. Staff did not accept our dog until 6:50am. Report cards are reported to be generated daily. We got photos 2 days out of a 5 day stay. We also paid for daycare and he was not with other dogs with the exception of 1 puppy. We paid for an exit bath $49 and he was viably dirty and had a strong odor to him when we picked him up. The week prior we had a similar experience after paying for a bath at pick up time he had a line on all paws with yellow on his fur. When we got home he drank a large bowl of water leading me to believe there may be a water restriction while being boarded. We will never use wagging tails again.

I was very upset when I picked up my Rottweiler after my vacation. I was given one price when I left and an increase in price when I returned. When I questioned it, I was treated very rudely by the manager. She spoke to me in a very unprofessional manner.The manager mentioned numerous times that she is putting her daughter through college and can’t adjust price or give discounts. I requested that my dog receive an exit bath and she was returned with a horrible stench and had diarrhea. They did not specify why she had diarrhea. In addition, we called to let them know that our flight was delayed and they never shared that she had diarrhea. I will never put my dog there again and I don’t think they have good hygiene habits in their kennel.

I took my time composing this, as I was very upset initially. I was spoken to rudely on the phone and at drop off, but I let that go. I took my dog for the required 5 hour evaluation to board. My usual kennel I board her at every year had no more space, so I sought another option. I dropped her and assumed all was well. Upon my pick up of her 5 hours later I was informed she was never removed from the kennel due to her high levels of stress. I never received a call from them to have the option to pick her up. I asked why I wasn’t informed of her extreme distress and was met with literally no answer. She had a large cut on her nose, she and was ill for two days after. She boards every year and has never had an issue before, she is very social and goes to the dog park weekly. I can’t understand why I wouldn’t be informed of her panic when it went on for the whole 5 hours so I could choose to come get her. There was no explanation for the cut on her nose. I don’t know what happens there, but I certainly would not recommend.

I hurt my back , and have a yellow Labrador retriever 12 week old puppy couldn’t take care of him!!! Call Wagging tails. And they took him right in. Went to pick him up all I saw was a happy little puppy. they were great they checked with my vet make sure he had all his shots!!! Took him back today!! he couldn’t get in the door quick enough he just loves the staff I say five stars!!! Somehow it says for trying to get it to say five but definitely a five star

Went twice I will not go back I found a better place I travel an hr away. This last time we waited an hr appointment. The pool is still green algae, trainer stated that don't bring her ball she ll drink the water which make her stomach turn No in reality the green algae just for her being in the pool and her cleaning her selfafter wards she might have systems such as know diarrhea .cyanobacteria is poisonous and could be life threatening so please dont go to this place I found a better place where there is actually a private lesson for an hr where the pool is clean they have multiple other events they train there cheaper by 10 bucks there punctual. I can only imagine what the kennels look like at this wagging tails facility if what this pool looks like.and my dog is my service dog can't go anywhere hopefully when I go to my doctor s appointment she diarrhea s before going in to the va .

Rosa loved her stay here! I'll use these guys again! Highly recommend! When she came back home, it was a seamless transition. Like we never left. This place is the next best thing to staying at 'grandma's house'! So cool! Staff treated my little girl like she was family. I loved the photos and reports they sent daily. This feature was so beneficial to my piece of mind while away. I enjoyed seeing her smiling face playing with other dogs and making friends. Excellent social interaction they are promoting by mixing dogs based on personality and not size. This is a great place that understands how to treat our little fur babies. Its definitely not just a kennel. It's her home away from home. I'm considering using the daycare program to teach Rosie how to swim. We'll be back!

Hired for a week only showed up for two days, lost two cats, non-hired individuals entered our home, door unlocked, alarm broken, keys not returned so locks had to be replaced *documentation provided by police who arrived on site when arrived and home unlocked, dark and contents proved no one had entered for five days! Cugo was reprehensibley rude, unprofessional

Maximiliano had the best time of his life. Staff and owners were extremely attentive and amazing. I was not wrong when I decide to drive for 90 minutes to bring Maximiliano there for a few hours. I wish I could live closer so that we could bring Max every day. We LOVE this place.

Sam has been so great with our dog Cashew! He loves his daily walks and Sam has been nothing but reliable for the past year and a half. He has done great boarding with her as well. Highly recommend!

I hired Whiskered Pals over two years ago to help care for my vizsla puppy Vida and highly recommend Sam and her employees! I have been boarding Vida for two days every week while I work long shifts for over a year and a half now, and just started boarding my mutt-puppy Sparrow. Sam treats my dogs with care and loves them like her own. Communication is excellent and I love getting photos of my pups. I know I don't need to worry about them when they're in Sam's care.

Sam watched our Pug April and cat Sunny for about 2 years. April became handicapped in her last couple years of life and we needed someone who could really give her the extra care she needed when we traveled. Sam was excellent with April and made us feel at ease when we had to leave her. Sam would always make sure she was updated with any new instructions on food, medications, etc. before we left. She would keep us updated on a daily basis with texts and photos. We would recommend Sam to anyone looking for a great, dependable and loving pet sitter! :)

1st time leaving my dog with Sam at whispered pet pals and it was a great stress free experience! She had me come to her house 2 times so our dogs could meet and I would feel comfortable leaving my dog with her, she showed me around and gave me forms to fill out! I dropped Addison off Friday-Sunday and Sam was in contact with me all weekend! She sent me videos pictures and multiple updates on my dog! I love Sarah's Pet Sitting for taking care of my fur babies when I am away. I am extremely fortunate that they have sitters who can take care of guinea pigs, because many pet sitting services do not. All of the sitters we've had have carefully followed the instructions for their care. The service request process is straightforward and rates are reasonable. I also love the reports that they send for each visit that generally includes pictures and a short video. And it's clear that the sitters who come to my house really love and care about animals. My piggies have gotten used to their sitters. And often come up to them looking for food and begging for treats. I know this is a service I can trust and will continue to use as long as I have piggies and live in Connecticut!

My family is very happy with Sarah’s pet sitting service! We recently went away and had them watch our 3 dogs. The detailed notes for each visit along with the pictures of our boys made us feel at ease they were being well taken care of. So easy to book and communicate with! Highly recommend.

They are the best. They take the time to get to know your pets. They then report back and send pictures after every visit and include updates of what they did during their visit (empty litter box, filled their treat ball etc.). You schedule each visit within a 2 hour window, so your pets get to eat at the same time they are used to eating. Great easy to use app to update pet profiles, request what you want done for each visit, and pay. I have tried other sitters (friends, neighbors etc) and never quite knew what was going on, or came hours late. I will never again use anyone else. If you want peace of mind while you are away, these are the folks!

From dog walking to training Sarah's is top notch. No one wants to need someone else take care of their pets, but Sarah's is the only service I trust. My silly rescue pup loves his walker and they have built a great bond. With their help I am also making huge strides in training my guy with positive means only. I recommend them to anyone.

Sarah's Pet Sitting provides a great service for those of us that can’t bring our pets on travels. After each service visit I got an update on how my dog was doing (eating, drinking, bathroom, general mood and behavior) and which activities took place. When we got married, we were so thankful for Katelyn and the attention she gave our boys (who are never away from us for more than a few hours)! I’ve been using Sarah’s for almost 2yrs and I honestly can’t recommend them enough! Their staff is so sweet, the pet portal is super thorough and user friendly. They even send photos of your fur babies after every visit, which is my favorite part! I also really appreciate that, Sarah’s requires, you to meet the pet sitters in person prior to your first pet sitting. I had never used a pet sitting service so I was kinda worried about strangers watching my cats. But they have great vibes and really take care of your pets like they are their own.
