On a scale of 1 to 5 (with 5 as best) we would rate Maria and Lu as 12 or better. They should be the poster people for all house/pet sitters. They dealt with a difficult situation when the Koi began to spawn and left the house better than they found it. They seemed to enjoy their stay and our dog loved them. They even did extra chores above and beyond such as cleaning the BBQ, changing light bulbs, and organizing the garage. Communication was excellent and they even left several home cooked meals for us so that we would not have to cook on our first day back. We invited them back for another stay in August and they accepted. We feel that we not only found great sitters, but great friends that we hope to see often in the future.

Alisha and her daughter Kati were so amazing! They planned the sit as a mother/daughter writers retreat (I'm truly excited to read Kati's book!) They were able to come by the house before I left on my trip so I was able to give them the full tour - I really love when sitters make the time to do that. Oh! And get this! Alisha read my entire Welcome Guide before arriving which honestly blew my mind. During the tour, she asked about specific things that I mentioned in the Guide and we were able to cover her questions straight away. Alisha & Kati also showed up with all their food & supplies so they wouldn't have to leave to get them after arriving - that's so smart! Alisha says she does this so the animals are less stressed out. She really is a true professional. I ended up hanging out with them a little longer than planned because they were so awesome. When I finally did grab my bags to head out I noticed that Kati was sitting on the floor playing with my dog and cat - loved that! During the sit, Alisha gave me updates here and there - but I wasn't bombarded by them. They also were able to coordinate with us to plan the best departure time so the animals wouldn't be alone too long before Kenny and I got home. When we arrived home the animals were exceptionally calm and I swear the house was cleaner than we left it. All in all, they were the best and we would definitely have them back in heartbeat.

Ellen and Mike are the BEST house and pet sitters anyone could hope for. We knew that they would be great with all the wonderful reviews they had prior to their sit, but they far exceeded our expectations in all ways. The communications were great, even fun, as they sent cute pictures of our cats enjoying their company in different ways for their 2.5 week sit. They left us the sweetest memento that a friend of theirs had made with our cats names and faces on it. We hope they will sit for us as often as they can —they are very busy. You can leave in peace!
We were so pleased with the care Rachel provided for our pets and house while we were away for 3 weeks in the summer that we asked her to housesit for us a second time over a long weekend. She is very trustworthy and caring about the pets, sending reassuring photos and videos while we were away. The house was once again left in immaculate condition. One of our cats was having a problem with diarrhea, and she dutifully took good care of her. I highly recommend Rachel (and her family) without hesitation as a trusted house and pet sitter!

honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.

Tina was a fantastic house/pet sitter for my cat Trixie - I can’t recommend her enough! She was very communicative and also self sufficient and I felt completely at peace with Trixie in her care. She took it upon herself to water my plants and also trimmed Trixie’s nails, which I always struggle with! She provided perfect company for Trixie, playing with her, brushing her, loving her and giving her daily medicine. She also left my apartment in perfect condition. I would gladly have Tina pet sit again. A 10/10 experience.

Prashant and India were fantastic pets sitters for us. Both were dependable and were even kind enough to allow some service people into the home to do some repairs. Our dogs were well looked after and we got daily updates on how the dogs were doing. Prashant is very knowledgeable and gave us a few strategies to combat some negative behaviors that we were seeing with the dogs. Could not recommend them more. They will be missed.

Lindsay and Bryce provided excellent care to our two cats while we were gone. They are great communicators, took amazing care of our apartment and send regular updates and photos so that we knew all was going well. Kyle was a great house sitter and pet sitter for us. We had a good dialogue prior to him sitting for us, and we also did a short walkthrough the week before. Kyle formed a great bond with our dog Charlie and also took good care of our rabbit Poppy. A couple of minor issues came up with systems in our home due to an unexpected power outage, and Kyle was quick to connect with us and then was able to work 1:1 with the service providers to resolve the issues. We look forward to working with Kyle again.

Melanie and Steve were excellent house & pet sitters. They sent me so many pictures of my 3 cats without me even asking and it made me so happy to see them enjoying their company. I'd say out of all the house sitters I've had, they spent the most time with my cats which means a lot to me. They are kind, easy to connect with and I'd welcome them back anytime. Andrea was the perfect sitter for our older Italian Greyhound and our shy cat. She followed every request to a “t”, and helped us to feel comfortable and care free for a long zeewoi. The communication of photos and videos were a warm reminder of how well they had been adjusting to our absence. Andrea showed care and consistent compassion for Darcy and Hammy. She seemed to enjoy them and our home as much as us! We returned to an absolutely spotless home, without anything left undone. She thought of everything related to us and our pets, so we could have a seamless late evening return. We highly recommend Andrea for any zeewoi, as she is a jewel. 5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Gowri was very patient and caring with Irisi who got sick the day before I left. I cannot commend her enough for how she rose to the occasion and took care of my baby. She even pick up meds from the vet. My cat, Squinty, was very comfortable with her to jump in bed and wake her up early in the morning (as he would with me). I am not aware of him doing that to other sitters that have stayed at my place. I would give her 6 stars for Pet care if I can! She updated me with Irisi's condition which really help ease my mind, knowing someone looking after my furry really cared. I would certainly have her back again!
