We were so fortunate that Melanie was available to stay with our 15-year-old cat, Little Bits for 12 days. Our sweet female calico has gotten older and a little more frail dealing with hyperthyroidism. My husband and I were concerned yet hopeful that we’d find the right person to look after her needs. Well, Melanie was a gem; we didn't have a single worry the entire time we were away. We were also very grateful that she was able to arrive the evening before we left so we could go over things in the house and get acquainted. We knew instantly Bits would be in excellent hands. Melanie was watchful and very attentive. Her communication was beyond exceptional and we loved getting updates with photos of our girl. It was obvious that Little Bits was very happy with her new friend. When we returned we found our home clean and in perfect order. Melanie did an amazing job!

Another fantastic experience with Elizabeth! We were on vacation for 12 days and had total peace of mind with Elizabeth looking after our sweet Zoe and the house. She is super self-sufficient and happy to help with garden upkeep and anything else that comes up during a stay. Plus there's nothing better than returning to a well cared for and happy kitty, and a spotless house with linens laundered, trash taken out, and a sweet bouquet to welcome us home! Carlinda and Kent were the absolute best sitters for our three dogs. We are rarely able to get away for an extended period of time. Carlinda and Kent provided the best care we could have asked for. While we were away, one of our pups needed some medical attention....we simply lucked out by having such amazing caregivers...from vet appointments to constant updates, we knew that we had nothing to worry about. We would HIGHLY recommend Carlinda and Kent and truly hope that we can have them back.....our boys miss them ;-)

Patrick is an exceptional house / petsitter. He's very pleasant, communicative and responsible. He exercised my 2 pups regularly. My house was as clean when I returned as it was when I left. He even did some home repair! He brought his own pup Malcolm, who is a gem. Malcolm and one of my pups became fast friends. I recommend Patrick with absolutely no reservations.

Elzaan and her family were wonderful. They watched my 2 cats for about a week. One of my cats is shy and needs medication, and Elzaan ensured that she got affection and got her meds each day. When I came home, the house was cleaner than when I had left it, and Elzaan and her kids had even left small gifts for me. They were wonderful and I'd gladly have them come sit again.

Jeannette was the absolute best pet sitter anyone could ask for! She was communicative and easy going. She took very good care of the house, but most importantly she took superb care of my dog, Bodhi. She took him on long walks and fun adventures everyday. While I was out of the country, I received pictures and updates of their "vacation". I loved seeing Bodhi's and Jeannette's smiles in all the photos. They definitely bonded. :) I would highly recommend Jeannette as a pet sitter and also as an excellent person who cares about people, animals, and the planet.

Linda was an awesome pet sitter for my doggie Brodie! She gave him so much loving attention… he has some separation anxiety at 9 years old & she never left his side! She was so attentive to him & I am very grateful for that! Linda’s communication was also something I liked… we texted & chatted on the phone before her arrival & I felt very comfortable with her being in my home & with my dog. Carolina was a fantastic Pet sitter. From the beginning, it was straightforward to communicate with her. She met us before we left our trip and ensured she understood all the house and pet logistics. Luna and Cal were very comfortable with her and were best friends with her fast. She was very affectionate with them, and Luna and Cal loved her and were very happy with her. Carolina was very responsive and sent updates. She was really lovely and easy to communicate with. She was very respectful of our space and very tidy. She even washed the sheets and towels she used even when she didn’t need to. She put a lot of care into caring for Luna and Cal, and they looked very comfortable with her. Having Carolina as a pet sitter made our trip very easy, knowing our pets were cared for so well. We would love to have her back to sit for us again and highly recommend her.

Jeremy and Brooke were fantastic! We have a senior dog and a over hyper pittie. They gave Daisy her meds and had lengthy walks with Fin to burn off some of his energy. Brooke sent me regular texts to show me precious pictures of the pups by the Christmas tree, which warmed my ❤️. The house looked great when we returned. They are awesome detailed sitters and will make your pets feel loved and secure!!

Judith was one of the most considerate, trustworthy sitters we've ever had. We had to leave in a rush for a family emergency and really didn't have time to prepare the house as we usually do, but Judith took all in stride, leaving the apartment spotless. She sent photos of Baby Boo and Janet on arrival, putting us immediately at ease because it was so obvious the cats were completely comfortable, zero stress, allowing us to relax that they were in such good hands. She sent photos and video every day, which delighted us, confident that they were getting next level care. Well respected and very organized kennel. Animals are treated well! We are customers for at least 10 years, and nothing to say negatively. Highly recommend, and would mention that they have a high booking rate, so make reservations well in advance.
This is the best boarding kennel I have ever used. The owners are very Hands-On with the facility and the dogs. They take exceptional care of all the dogs in the kennel which is a beautiful farm in Fairfield. The dogs are given plenty of exercise in the ample pastures which have dog fencing and are supervised. You and your pups will love this home away from home.
Wellspring is exceptional! We needed to board our senior dachshund mix for about 2 months following a cross-country move. We picked him up happy and healthy, and he got on very well with all the dogs and staff. The owners were very responsive and communicative, and they were highly attuned to his needs and habits. We will be back!!
Wellspring Farm was wonderful for our pup Zoe. We needed a place for her for half the day so that we could take our kids to the safari park. She had so much fun playing with the other dogs and was worn out when we picked her back up. Rick was so welcoming and the farm is beautiful. The kennel area was neat and clean and the dogs have such a great area to play. I would highly recommend Wellspring Farm to anyone with boarding needs!
Amazing and highly recommend. Wellspring Farm is a dog boarding and fostering kennel nestled in the rolling hills of Virginia. The yards are all fenced in and well maintained for the dogs. They have lots of safe space to run and play. The kennels are excellent; very clean, no bad smells, and no messy kennels. Each dog has their own kennel or bonded dogs can be in a stall together. We rescued a young English pointer mix pup from Bath Animal Rescue who was fostered at Wellspring Farm. He is clean, very healthy weight, been on flea and tick treatment, heartworm prevention, trimmed nails, bathed, and is house trained. He has never messed in our car or our house and has settled in beautifully to our home. I give a lot of credit to Rick for the amazing work he does for these dogs and the high levels of care he provides for them. Highly recommend boarding or adopting from Wellspring Farm.
We love Wellspring Kennel. We just picked up our dog from a weeklong stay. She was well cared for by friendly and knowledgeable staff. They make sure all dogs are properly vaccinated. Our dog loves to go, she jumps right out of the car and runs to the owners. The kennels are well cared for and the dogs get play time in the grassy paddocks. Truly a great place.
Our puppy loves staying with Rick and Mary. Very nice place and you can tell they enjoy what they do. We trust them the member of our family and you can to.
I took my young dog here for his first overnight stay away from home. He was extremely well cared for and had a happy stay. The owners were very caring and exuded love for animals! I’m very particular when it comes to my dogs and they exceeded all expectations. We will be using them again!
My girlfriend left her dog for three weeks at Welllspring Farm. We came to him up today, and it seemed like he had a blast! Rick was awesome and an excellent communicator. We are super happy with the way everything went and would 100% recommend Wellspring Farm to anyone looking for dog boarding.
