Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!

Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.

Thomas did an amazing job! We were very pleased with how well he was able to care for our 3 active Boston terriers. He was able to handle all 3 on a walk and feed them their special meal everyday. He even ventured out and took them to the beach which is no easy task for 3 excited dogs. Thomas did a great job communicating before and during the stay. David was an outstanding house/pet sitter for our active pup Tosha, older kitty Rascal, and 4 chickens. Rascal came home with a deep, gaping wound the day before we left for 11 days, and David was very responsible in monitoring the healing process with photos and texts to us. This is the best boarding kennel I have ever used. The owners are very Hands-On with the facility and the dogs. They take exceptional care of all the dogs in the kennel which is a beautiful farm in Fairfield. The dogs are given plenty of exercise in the ample pastures which have dog fencing and are supervised. You and your pups will love this home away from home.
Wellspring is exceptional! We needed to board our senior dachshund mix for about 2 months following a cross-country move. We picked him up happy and healthy, and he got on very well with all the dogs and staff. The owners were very responsive and communicative, and they were highly attuned to his needs and habits. We will be back!!
Wellspring Farm was wonderful for our pup Zoe. We needed a place for her for half the day so that we could take our kids to the safari park. She had so much fun playing with the other dogs and was worn out when we picked her back up. Rick was so welcoming and the farm is beautiful. Amazing and highly recommend. Wellspring Farm is a dog boarding and fostering kennel nestled in the rolling hills of Virginia. The yards are all fenced in and well maintained for the dogs. They have lots of safe space to run and play. The kennels are excellent; very clean, no bad smells, and no messy kennels. Each dog has their own kennel or bonded dogs can be in a stall together. We rescued a young English pointer mix pup from Bath Animal Rescue who was fostered at Wellspring Farm. He is clean, very healthy weight, been on flea and tick treatment, heartworm prevention, trimmed nails, bathed, and is house trained. He has never messed in our car or our house and has settled in beautifully to our home. I give a lot of credit to Rick for the amazing work he does for these dogs and the high levels of care he provides for them. Highly recommend boarding or adopting from Wellspring Farm.
We love Wellspring Kennel. We just picked up our dog from a weeklong stay. She was well cared for by friendly and knowledgeable staff. They make sure all dogs are properly vaccinated. Our dog loves to go, she jumps right out of the car and runs to the owners. The kennels are well cared for and the dogs get play time in the grassy paddocks. Truly a great place.
