Gary and his family are great! My Bullmastiff Bear loves it there, and is always wiped out when I bring him home...a tired dog is a happy dog!

Gary was extremely accommodating of our last-minute request when our dog sitter fell through. He clearly cares about all the animals he watches, and he has a great setup at his house. Our two dogs enjoyed their time there and I felt better knowing they were being cared for by a professional!

Gary was so accommodating for our last minute needs for our dog Bali. He kept us updated with photos of how much fun she was having. We could relax and enjoy our trip because we felt our pup was being cared for as if she were home with us. Bali came home happy and exhausted from all the fun she had!

I don't board my dog often so I'm very picky about where he goes. At Paws and Claws, i felt like Rocco was staying with a friend. He has a huge yard to play in and a cozy place to spend the night.

After boarding my little yorkie in kennels all around the area and always picking him up sick with kennel cough, or even a hurt leg, and taking weeks for him to unstress, I was very skeptical of everywhere. Just seemed no good solution for leaving him anywhere. I was referred to Christy, and was still skeptical until I met her and saw her place! She is so nice and her place is really clean and dog friendly! You can tell right away how great she is with dogs. She kept him for 10 days, and sent daily pictures and updates. I felt really good about where he was and how he was being treated. I picked him up and he was so healthy, happy and even bathed! So nice to be able to know I don't have to stress about going away anymore and what I will do with Max! Thank you so much Christy, you're a gem!

Christina is fantastic! She took care of our large, energetic puppy, Charlie, for 8 days. This was my first time boarding a pet, so I had concerns. But Christina eased all of those right away. She was very quick to respond to my inquiry and asked all the right questions to learn about our puppy. While we were away, Christina sent pictures, videos and updates daily. She even made homemade food to add to Charlie's kibbles! Upon pick up, I could tell Charlie felt very comfortable with Christina and had had a great stay. She is the only boarder I will call next time we have a need.

This is Molly my puppy who spent 3 nights at Christina's pet sitting. Molly made new friends and enjoyed her time. Christina sent pictures every day of activities that Molly was involved in with other dogs and cats as the picture shows. At first I was a bit apprehensive leaving my beloved dog with someone I did not know. However, upon meeting Christina and seeing the way she treats her own dogs and how clean her house is I felt very comfortable leaving him there for a few days. Christna is great and treated my dog extremely well. She sent pictures a few times every day and I could see that my dog was happy and well taken care of. I highly recommend Home Away from Home, Christina's Pet Sitting and I would give her 10 stars if I could. Right away when I contacted Christina I could tell that she was very professional and cares a great deal about animals. Before my Mia came for the weekend we arranged for a meet and greet to make sure my dog would get along with her pets. Luckily, all went well. Mia had a great time at Christinas and she sent me daily pictures and updates which I truly appreciated. The name of her business accurately describes that it is a "home away from home" for your pet.

Our dog needed a sitter for one night at short notice. Christina was super flexible and helpful. It was the first time in our dog's life to spend a night without us. At 5 months old, he and Christina did a great job. The next day we picked him up safely. He was a little intimidated, but that was certainly due to the unfamiliar situation. Payment was made in advance. Everything went smoothly and in a friendly manner. If we need a dog sitter again, we turn to Christine.

Initially I was hesitant on the idea of boarding at a non traditional kennel facility, but boy was I wrong. My two fur children got the 5 star hotel resort and spa treatment. Christina is an absolute amazing sitter here in clearlake at Home away from home. Christina was extremely welcoming and showed me around her house and where the dogs would be staying. I was very pleased with how she was welcoming to my dogs who have never stayed in another persons home before. She sent updates throughout the stay, and plenty of pictures that made my work day go by quicker. She was extremely thorough and required all paperwork of current vaccines for both of my dogs which again, showed me that she was very careful and mindful of illness that may arise from not having vaccinated pets. When I came to pick them up, she even included a complimentary doggy dinner that she makes organically at home. I was so pleased with my dogs stay that we have decided to board with her weekly. Christina was an absolute delight and my pets had a great time! 5 stars!

Christina is the person you need! Christina took excellent care of my dog while we were on a 3 week vacation. She loved him, walked him, made him homemade dog biscuits, and texted us daily with pics and told us how their day went. Don't take your dog to a kennel, take them to Christina and know that your loved one is safe and happy while you are away.

I am a travel, nurse and work long hours at the hospital. I’m usually gone for 13 hours at a time, and am always needing a place to take my puppy when I work. Christina’s house has truly become my dog”s home away from home! Driving to Christina‘s house on a work day is what my puppy’s, Juniper favorite thing! She jumps into the car and wiggles all the way there. Juniper runs straight from the car to the door and rushes through the door when it’s opened!. If she could turn around and say to me how much she loves it here I think she would. But how happy she looks says it all!!!!

Elizabeth has been our dog walker/pet sitter since 2023. Our dog, Charlie, needs 3 walks a day and Elizabeth takes good care of him. He gets exercise and enjoys time in her company. She is also great when our fire alarms went off in our house during our last trip. She disarmed them and sent pictures. We were happy she was able to take care of the problem. She is a great communicator and I highly recommend her to those who want to leave their animal with a responsible and caring pet sitter!

Elizabeth is a fantastic dog sitter. She is very responsible and reliable. My dogs always seem happy when they are in her care. Much better than leaving them at an impersonal kennel. Zoe and Nacho love spending time with Elizabeth. I would highly recommend her.

Elizabeth has been watching our first rescue dog Nico since we got him in 2021, and now our latest addition, Vinny. As with a lot of rescues, ours had some social/ behavioral issues in the beginning, but Elizabeth is an expert. She knows how to work with and around those issues and also make recommendations. The controlled socialization our dogs get when staying overnight with Elizabeth have been immensely helpful to their training. They come home pooped and happy from all the playing! She also offers reasonable pricing and flexible scheduling. If you’re in the Davis area, highly recommend giving Elizabeth a call.

Elizabeth is awesome, she takes wonderful care of our Jack Russell mix and border collie mix. They always come home happy and smiling and well cared for. She sends lots of pictures to keep us updated and we are really grateful for her skill with the dogs. Our border collie is on medication which Elizabeth skillfully administers and doesn’t always get along with other dogs in our experience, but Elizabeth is so good with her. She always comes home better trained and socialized then we left her :-)

We’ve relied on Elizabeth for years to take care of our pets and house while away. Guinea pigs, fish, dog - she does it all and keeps an eye on the house. We’ve used her for weekends to over a month. Always reliable and responsive. Pets are well cared for and happy. Good value, good and reasonable service. Highly recommended and much preferred to a kennel.

My big boy Bengal, Dezi had a great time here. The facility was very nice and clean too. He got his own two room suite! The staff made him feel safe and loved and he wasn’t stressed when I picked him up. This was his first time away from home and I wasn’t sure how it would go. He will be coming back to visit again.

I have used Best Friends since 2002. All of my dogs have done great and I had a dog with some “issues” and she was handled well. There were never any problems after their visit at the “spa” as we referred to it. My two small dogs just returned from their spa visit and Max was on medication and he did great and our Gracie was happy too. Highly recommend!! 🐾🐾

We brought our Golden, Lola, here for the first time for a full grooming experience. She is terrified of loud noises--the girl who met us at check-in was extremely gentle with our dog, calming, and got her to settle down. We knew immediately that Lola was in good hands. They brought Lola out looking better than she ever has at any other grooming appointment--complete with a fresh bandana and bow. We loved our experience here!

Best Friends pet boarding, daycare in Carmichael. The staff here is awesom! My Pebbles and BamBam really enjoy their overnight stays! They get lots of attention, treats and best of all have piece of mind knowing the loving care they are getting! Highly recommend boarding and Doggy day camp!

Murphy and Finley had a great stay at Best Friends Pet Hotel. They took good care of them and were accommodating when I arrived slightly after hours to pick them up because of traffic. You could tell they really care about the animals in their care. I recommend!

One of the only places we trust to leave our slightly reactive dog. It is a bit out of the way for us, but the peace of mind that she will come back exactly as we left her is worth it. She is well taken care of. The photos are a nice bonus

I waited a while and now our dogs have had multiple stays here. Basically, it's wonderful! I've been on three surprise tours and they've all been great! My timid dog has gotten more and more comfortable and happy to get there. We did a few warm up days with him and then overnights before a long trip. My outgoing dog has always just loved it! I love the people there, they always do their very best to help me, 100% of the time. Also, several times I've been there people have insisted on leaving additional tips because they are so grateful to have their dog well taken care of... which I completely understand. Thank you!!!

I recommend Happy Paws Kennels for your fur baby or babies :) The process to check in for boarding was really easy and quick. Plus, they have a new office located beyond the gates, which is always nice because you'll have a chance to see the other happy dogs that are boarded there. They were also very communicative and made it easy for bookings. They also gave me complimentary baths at the end of their stay, which was very nice! One feedback that I would add is that I wish they would send pictures of the dogs as a compliment to the stay. A suggestion for Happy Paws is to provide the options for clients to choose the option of receiving pictures and updates during the stay. I think that will really enhance and add value to the experience. Overall, the experience was great, and my dogs seemed happy.

Boarded my dog here for 2 nights, and it was a very good experience! Friendly, experienced staff. This is a very clean facility and the dogs get plenty of excercise(weather permitting)!

Where to begin…I dropped my dogs off yesterday and my truck decided to just die right then and there. The team was SO fantastic and helpful trying to get it up and going. Above and beyond thoughtfulness. I can’t thank them all enough for the help and genuine concern. Getting to what their business actually offers — Our dogs LOVE it here - we are new to the area so have only done day visits so far, but I am sleeping well at night knowing they are here while I’m away for the first time. We absolutely love these guys. They took such great care of our puppy baby. She slept for 2 days when we got home from all the fun and exercise she had. We plan on going back regularly. They have great rates and a military discount. Thanks for really taking care of my baby.

Ashleys is excellent. All three cats receive individual attention and any accidents or medications are professionally and politely dealt with. The on-line appointment and payment system is convenient and easy to use. Out pets are very well cared for while we are away!

I'm a veterinarian who has been using Ashley's pet sitting services consistently for at least five years. She and her team are so reliable! Once when I was traveling in 2018, my house was broken into, and thankfully the dogs were not let out by the burglars. Ashley and her team handled communication beautifully, as well as coordinating with my landlord and the police. I could not have felt more assured from afar that my pets (and my house) were being looked after appropriately. I trust Ashley's Pawsome Pet sitting and am so grateful for their attentive care to my beloved dogs Cali and Bijou. I still travel several times a year and use their services every time.

Amazing service! We were traveling for a week, and Ashleys Pawsome Pet Sitting took great care of our 2 cats. Cassidy was great, we received daily pictures of our kitties, and we could tell they really liked her. I’m definitely using them again!

My husband booked a second honeymoon in Cancun and I was anxious. I didn't know what we were going to do about care for our baby, Scarlett. A coworker recommended Ashley's Pawsome Pets and we are so thankful. They are bonded and they are background checked. We had a meet and greet with our sitter. Which I appreciated so much. Our sitter, Amanda, was absolutely wonderful. She came twice a day and was so attentive to Scarlett. I couldn't have asked for better! She is amazing! My favorite thing is they have a journal with pictures so you know everything that happens with your fur baby. My only con would be the extra fees that aren't 100% transparent. The service is pricey, (but worth it), however, when I went to pay the bill, there was an added fee for administration and then again for credit cards (which I use for security.,) I'm willing to pay whatever is needed for the care of my pet, but it was a tad surprising. Thar said, they are amazing snd we love Amsnda! We will be using them again in the future! The service is outstanding!! The attached pictures are from Amanda's very detailed journals!

We have used Ashley's Pawsome Pet sitting for every single vacation we've taken the past year and greatly appreciate the services of her staff. As someone prone to worrying, the pet journals and photos her sitters take and send daily are wonderful. While I have only had two different sitters, they are always kind, professional, and follow instructions well. I feel like my cat is in good hands when I hire a pet sitter through her.

We have left two different dogs in Ashley's care. Each time, we had so much confidence about how they were faring while we were traveling (in large part because Ashley sends pictures showing how comfortable and happy they are in her home; she sends sweet messages, too). Every aspect of the visit went exactly as planned; her website is easy to use and very informative. All in all, a very professional transaction with a very loving caregiver.

Our 2 black kitties are our pride and joy and we hate to leave them but now, in our retirement years, we are finally able to travel. After asking neighbors to feed our kitties, we tried Ashleys Pawsome and are VERY happy! We can schedule half-hour or longer sessions which include feeding, catbox cleaning and playing with our furry kids. Maybe better are the timely and thorough 'journal reports' we receive after each visit! We're told hew our pets are, and what services were rendered. Let the vacations continue!

Ashley was wonderful with our 3 dogs and cat for the two days we were away. She sent me pics of all of them each time she visited them during the day and I can say, they looked really happy! We've used Happy Tails several times for cat-care, typically twice-daily visits. Usually our sitter is Rachel, and she's fabulous with our pets. We love the daily updates and confident knowing that she is able to medicate our one feisty younger boy. Highly recommend!

Cheryl is wonderful with our dog Bentley. We get daily reports with pictures. We think he has more fun at her house than ours with all the other dogs he gets to play with. We love knowing he's in good hands and isn't stressed out at a kennel. And Jesse is lovely with our kitten. We come home and our kitten is happy, the litter boxes are clean, the mail has been brought in, and the plants have been watered. And we know someone has been keeping a daily eye on our home. We’ve used this company’s service several times now. All the sitters have been super. We’ve had someone do checks on our kitten, play and feed her. Another time we had someone stay overnight with our puppy and kitten. And another time private boarded our puppy at a sitter’s home. Every time we came back to happy, well cared for pets. Happy Tails Pet Sitting and Tamara gave me peace of mind that my 3-month old puppy would be well taken care. He was fed, played with and loved. Soiled bedding thrown in the washer. I received photos of him playing and an update with each visit. No doubt Happy Tails will be called on in the future.......

This was my first time using Happy Tails. Lindsay was my live in pet/house sitter. My cat is very shy but took to Lindsay immediately. Lindsay sent me updates and photos while I was gone so I had total peace of mind. I also came home to a very clean house. I will definitely use them again!

I took my puppies over there for the first time and they loved it! Tamara was very sweet and caring with them. The place allows them to play, sleep and be around other dogs (socialize) in a safe manner. It's convenient, and it's affordable.

Amazing place!! The facility is great, in the heat of the summer to have an air conditioned space for chows is a must. Tamara was beyond helpful. This was the third place I tried as I was having surgery and, I NEVER board my dogs so it was getting stressful. I had to leave them for a day and I immediately knew I’d found the spot just because I was having trouble getting them into the yard (because of my hip) and one of them slipped out of his collar and got away. Tamaras husband jumped in without hesitation and helped me round him up. Most places I know aren’t even comfortable with having them so to see him react immediately without a hint of apprehension was reassuring. As it turned out, a friend came up to stay with me for recovery so they were able to stay home this time. I’ll be having to go in again next year so I’ll definitely be taking them back!!

I brought my pandemic puppy here for her first time away from me or family. She was there for 10 days and did great. I brought her a few times for day care before so she could get acclimated and I think that helped. The entire dog gone sister’s team was really nice and communicated with me and helped ease my stress of leaving Toffee was so long. I received photos every night and toffee even made it to their ig page. I have already recommended to friends and definitely will bring toffee back for my next vacation but even plan to bring her for daycare every now and then.

My girl dog is scared of people not in her circle and has bad anxiety. It only took Joy 2 visits for them to be BFFs which is shocking to me! This means my girl trusts her, which means I trust her! My old dog takes meds and is blind. Joy really takes care of him. I have no complaints and Joy is the best! PLEASE TRY HER BUSINESS.

Me and my wife both work away from home a few days a week and we needed a daycare for our dog, Apollo. We learned about the sisters through a friend that uses their services and we couldn't be happier! They had us bring him in for a meet and greet, then allowed us to leave him there for a couple hours to see how he got along with the other dogs. They now pick him up early in the morning without us being home and provide email updates with photos once he's in the car for peace of mind. I pick him up on my way home and he's exhausted from playing all day. The arrangement couldn't be better. The sisters and staff are all animal lovers and super friendly. I'll recommend them to anyone that asks!

TDGS are so sweet and really treat your fur baby as their own. They are very patient, my dog is a nervous nancy, but they knew how to handle him and make him feel secure. I don't even need to leash Doc when I pull up, he runs straight the gate and he is always dog tired when he gets home. I can tell after taking him to daycare he is more confident with other dogs and knows how to communicate better. I'm very picky about my pup, I highly recommend them.

Those Dog Gone Sisters are an excellent family run business and have done cat sitting for me twice now. I am really happy with the exceptional services they provide. They not only visit and refresh the food and water but also clean the litter boxes and collect the mail. They send daily email updates with pictures of your pets which is such a nice added touch to put your mind at ease knowing your pets are happy and safe. What also impressed me was that they do a meet and greet with you and your pets before taking care of your pets for the first time so that you/they know if it’s good fit. I won’t have anyone else other than Those Dog Gone Sisters take care of my pets when I am out of town.

I am truly Grateful for these two amazing women! When I first met them they where so welcoming and kind my dog immediately felt comfortable and safe when we arrived. We are so lucky to have Barking Meow here in town. We have two kitties that needed care for five days. One of them takes a daily pill and for that reason we have not gone on vacation as a family for over three years. We found Barking Meow and for the past five days they took care of our cats with love, kindness, and care. We were able to go on vacation worry free and returned to happy kitties. Cannot express how wonderful this business and its owners are. We've used them a few times for drop in care of our cats while out of town, and have always been impressed by their professionalism, attention to detail, flexibility in requests, and most of all their sincere care of our pets. But this past week, we were absolutely blown away with how over the top Jen went in helping care for one of cats who was diagnosed with renal failure, while we ourselves were going through our own personal medical issues out of town. She quite literally saved our kitty's life by finding a vet ER with space, transporting him to and from the hospital, keeping us in the loop every step of the way. And all with the utmost compassion. She even texted the morning after we were all home to check in. We cannot speak highly enough of this company. Especially Jen. Thank you for lightening our load in the midst of a tough week. We absolutely love Barking Meow Pet Solutions. We have a 7 year old chocolate lab that I hate leaving behind but when we must we feel so comfortable leaving him at Barking Meow. We receive daily morning and evening text with pics of Roux on his walks, playing or lounging with his home away from home family. I love that fact that Roux is not stuck in a kennel but with the family in their home where he is spoiled with interaction and love.

They set up a meet and greet with you and your pets to go over their routine and any specific needs they may have, very thorough with taking notes and asking questions. What I enjoyed most about their service was the pet check in notifications in which you are able to see time stamped pictures of your pets, GPS location of the visit and can keep track of their water and food being refilled and refreshed as well as the litter being clean. If you are looking for a pet sitting company that will give you 100% peace of mind while you are out traveling, I highly recommend Barking Meow Pet solutions. I will certainly be requesting their services in the future.

Jen and team were amazing and so professional. I cannot recommend them enough! We had just moved to the area when we had to leave our 2 cats. It was so nice being able to leave them in our new home rather than worry about boarding them to minimize the stress/disruption. When we came home, they were both waiting in the kitchen for Jen--and were so disappointed it was US who walked through the door ha! We got pictures and updates every day and they were so kind in bringing in mail/boxes and taking out our trash. Will absolutely use again in the future and would recommend to anyone!

Outstanding service and caring people. I have worked with Jen for nearly 4 years. She has recently expanded her business and her husband Brian joined the team. They are very accommodating and care for my fur baby like I would, which is important to me. Being an owner of a senior bulldog comes with many challenges. Jen and her company ensure quality, knowledgeable, trustworthy and reliable care. She is a life saver helping me with morning walks, check-ins and care regularly and while I am away on vacation. They even have a nice new van equipped with crates to travel safely with your pup. I love their app as well and look forward to pics and updates from their walks. We have used Jennifer with Barking Meow Pet Solutions for five or more years. The first time we left Maddie, we were concerned about how she would be with a sitter. It's a great feeling to know when you are away that your pet is being cared for like you would. Whenever we are away Jennifer sends us pictures and messages about how Maddie is doing. Jennifer is dependable, credentialed and knowledgeable about caring for pets. We would never leave our Maddie with anyone else. When it's time for drop- off she goes right inside without hesitation like its her second home. They are the best and we highly recommend Jennifer, Bryan and crew!!

I can’t say enough good things about Barking Meow Pet Solutions. We are fairly new to the area and we interviewed a lot of pet sitters. Jen and Brian got to know our two corgis and the dogs just loved them. We left them with Jen and Brian while we went on vacation for 10 days. Our fur babies were walked, fed, and played with and loved. We received pics and updates everyday. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my fur babies. We just recently had to board our 3 dogs who have not been out of our care for YEARS. I was nervous how they would respond to us being gone until I had our meet and greet with these wonderful people. They are so caring and welcoming! They have a fantastic set up at their home which makes it that much more easily adjustable for the pups. We got text/picture updates everyday and they are very responsive to any questions I had. We will definitely be using their services again and would 100% recommend them to every pet owner!

Absolutely the best pet sitters! We are so thankful to have found Jen & her team! The service is above & beyond our already high expectations. Their updates & pictures of each of visit warmed our hearts to see the joy they brought into our home.
