Mary has been there for us in the drop off a hat. My husband requires treatment in SF and we literally have given Mary just hours notice that we need her and she never hesitates to be there. It's nice not to have to worry about my fur babies with her. They're in excellent hands. And she sends me pics of them which cheers me up. She also goes above and beyond with specific things needing to be done at the house (specific lights on, checking mail, garbage can day, etc.) I highly recommend her services, she's been incredible.

Mary watched our 7 cats while we were on vacation, and she did an amazing job! I got pictures of all kitties each day so I could see that they were ok. I could tell that she was nice to them because in the pictures, they really liked her. They enjoyed her company very much. She also made a photo collage of each kitty for me as a nice gift. It gave us a piece of mind to enjoy our vacation. I would highly recommend and will definitely use her services again in the future!

I feel so fortunate to have found Mary to provide care for my dog Doorstop while I am at work. She deeply cares for animals and is super reliable. I feel very comfortable and at ease, knowing that she is there to help. Doorstop loves his walks with Mary!!

We had Mary watch our cats and fish while we were gone on vacation. We are so thankful that we did. One of cat's became ill and Mary took her to vet for us, dealt with long phone calls and wait time. She kept us up to date on her condition through text messages and videos. She basically saved our cat's life and we owe her a debt of gratitude. She took special care of our ill cat and the others... We truly appreciate Mary and the service she provides...

Finding someone you trust to take care of a pet while you’re gone tends be stressful and difficult. I have a rescue cat who is a shy and nervous little guy. Because of his disposition, I didn’t want to board him and instead wanted to keep him home in a place he was comfortable and familiar with. Between his and my separation anxiety, I was really anxious about finding someone who would take care of him while my husband and I went on vacation. I am so beyond thankful I found Mary. Her initial house visit immediately put me at ease. We sat down and discussed everything, from the scheduled visits right down to every little detail. Her attention to detail and thoroughness of everything is really amazing. I wanted someone who would spend time with my cat instead of just “come to feed then leave,” so the fact there were options for the amount of time spend per visit was so appreciated. She also offered to take care of additional small tasks around the house while we were out, like watering plants and take out the trash, which I thought was incredibly thoughtful. I knew she was a perfect fit when she got a few pets in from my cat — without a single treat !! I knew he was in the best possible hands. Mary was so wonderful while we were gone. She sent pictures and video updates with each visit so I could see how he was doing (the photo uploaded is one she sent me). She was communicative, responsive, and professional, and I am thrilled to have a go-to sitter whom I truly trust. I cannot recommend Mary or her business highly enough. Thank you Mary !!

This was also the first vacation in many years that we were able to really relax because we knew that Lucy was being taken care of so well. Mary sent photos & videos & that was so much appreciated. Our cat is very affectionate and likes attention and being around people at all times. She does not like being left alone. After moving to California 4 years ago, we were searching for a pet sitter. The Humane Society of Stanislaus County recommended Mary's Pet Project after hearing good things about her. She deals with all sorts of animals. My wife and I travel often, sometimes overseas, and need reliable visits to our cat. I was impressed that Mary maintains detailed files about every pet, including Vet and medication info if required. Mary texts updates, including videos of a kitty who is happy at receiving regular visits. She deals with all pet related cleaning, grabs the mail, and takes care of lights and other household adjustments. I would highly recommend her services.

Emily is a God send for nervous fur mommas (and dads’) I’ve never left my little Ike with anyone but family, so I was very apprehensive leaving him when our entire family went on vacation together. We did a meet and greet with Emily and her fur family and I was put at ease. Throughout our vacation she sent me daily updates and pictures of Ike which made me feel so much better knowing that he was being taken well care of and loved. Her rates are more than reasonable for what she provides and I plan on using Comfy Paws for future drop offs and extended vacations. You can be rest assured that your pup will be absolutely well taken care of when they are in her care.

We had a fantastic experience with Emily - both of our dogs were well taken care of the whole time. She is very knowledgeable about dog behavior and tailored care to all needs she identified. Emily is a true animal lover. She understands that our dogs are our children and is happy to send updates throughout the day. My dog Josie loves to spend time with Emily and I just know she is well taken care of when she goes there. I just wish there were other dogs there for her to play with, that's the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

I am so grateful to have found Emily! From the initial ‘meet and greet’ we knew she would take excellent care of our 1 year old, high energy pup! She kept me updated constantly over our 10 day vacation and put my mind as ease to know our pup was being loved and cared for. Comfy Paws has been taking care of our Sadie for several months. Sadie loves to go to Comfy Paws. We know this because of how excited Sadie gets everytime we drop her off. She gets walked several times a day and she comes home tired. Picture of tired Sadie included.

Emily is a great dog minder. She’s cared for our big dog many times. We never feel guilty dropping him off with her as he LOVES going there. She’s also super responsive and great at sending pic/video updates.

Our fur babies had a wonderful time while we were away for a 2-week vacation. They are very well staffed and experienced. And they let us tour & take pictures of the location before booking. Which made us feel comfortable knowing they would be safe, loved, and played with. Always being supervised, outside and inside. We will be going back, maybe even try out the daycare, to keep our fur babies socialized with other dogs safely.🐾💜🐾

Can’t say enough about this Pet Hotel! My dogs absolutely love it here, I had two labs and one (DUKE) was overly excited when we would turn into the driveway (like a child going to Disneyland) my other lab Daisy is shy and doesn’t like to leave my side. Once I get her out of the vehicle she’s like “OH I KNOW THIS PLACE” & is ready for the pool. I’ve read some of the reviews on here and like I always say “YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR” our pets are FAMILY, and I want them to have a safe, secure, fun environment to be at. I have boarded at other popular facilities and NONE COMPARE!!! I love that CR RANCH has the knowledgeable staff that cares about your fur- babies. When our Duke passed then sent very thoughtful personal card and it was very touching. I would recommend this place over & over to anyone. I honestly just can’t say enough about CR RANCH ❤️

So... Leaving your fur baby, it's not easy. At all. I contacted/stopped by at random after visiting another kennel. I was welcomed and shown around, no questions asked. My initial opinion is that it was very clean and their focus was on the dogs. I was told I needed to get my dog, Roxanne, a flu shot. Unfortunately my vet didn't have any so I went to pet I...but anyhow after all the immunizations we had to go for an evaluation. My doggo has t really been around other doggos outside of she had a really old older sister (dog) that passed away so her interactions with other dogs and even people were limited. Her first evaluation didn't go the greatest, she was scared and afraid of walking around the property and going inside. I was told she didn't pass but didn't fail. We went back in a couple of days and it went much better. Then it was recommended she come do daycare/play dates for a half day to get her used to procedures and being around new people and other dogs. Finally the week of her stay came. I packed up her food and a couple of comfort item as and off we went. Now look, she's a GSD and though they can be fierce they are also big babies or mine is and a beloved member of the family...so leaving her was nearly like leaving my kids at school first day. I know dogs pick up on vibes so I kept it brief and told her I'd see her soon (then sniffled as I drove down the street) I called on her second day and she had "settled in" and shortly thereafter was saw pics of her on Facebook and insta. The next day more pics she was smiling! Then I found out...she made a friend named Duffy!!!! Aww her first doggo friend! Today I went to pick her up and she was excited to see me but I think she enjoyed it because she was not sure whether she wanted to stay or go. She looks healthy, her bedding was washed and she got a report card with everything detailed. Which is nice, her minimal issues were mostly breed related (shepherd related) I guess she had a little tummy trouble while there but it was handled well. (So we had some left over snacks etc) So pet parents, rest assured...your loved pets are safe here. They take good care of them. I notice most of the staff is more geared towards the dogs, and less towards the humans (not a bad thing) but the dogs are the clients so I think that's perfect! I wouldn't hesitate to leave my Roxanne here again. I may have her come sometimes just so she can play with some doggy friends. (Maybe she'll meet Duffy again!) I wish she liked water, I saw all the water doggos splashing in pics and it looks fun!!!

C R Ranch is by far our number one choice for our fur babes. We have been coming here for years with one dog and now our second joined in as well! The staff is always so friendly and so great with our pups! When we drop them off, the dogs can't wait to leave us and go with the staff, we take this as a good sign! Then, while we are on vacation and see the updates online, it makes us so happy knowing how the dogs are being taken care of! We definitely recommend this place to anyone that needs boarding!

This facility was so clean and well maintained. The staff was so friendly and my fur baby got to explore the ranch. I loved the report card which was very detailed. I would definitely be bringing her back.

Took my dog Piper there on 8/8/23. It was our first visit and I was not impressed. They took my dog back with no explanation of how her day would go or offer us a tour of the facility being our first time there. When we picked her up, same story, no critique on how her day went and how she responded to being at daycare or with other dogs. Would not recommend this facility. We went there on or dog trainer Amy recommendation, so thought we would get Top Notch service, guess we should have gone to that other place that truly is Top Notch.

We live on a nearby street and our dog ran away from home. We’re grateful for Matthew of C R Ranch who found Remy after his shift and helped reunite us. We also have always had a good experience boarding Remy at C R. Caring staff, clean facility, and great correspondence.

We utilize this facility frequently. They are very professional, clean and treat out furry babies like they are their own. Its located in a very quiet country setting with more then ample space for large and small dogs. If you just want to take your furry buddys for a day of escape and to be around other doggos even just for fun this place is perfect. Our dogs are always more then excited to go there and spend a weekend there.

Pet Vacations has been THE BEST EXPERIENCE for our puppy Tucker since he was 6-mos-old (he's now 8-mos-old). He gets so much playtime outside with others that he would play well with (not all dogs are the same demeanor!) and gets so much attention from Owner Lindsay Stark and her staff. We are so, so happy we found a good place for Tucker to have fun with his friends and other humans besides us. Lindsay gave me daily updates for Tucker's first time and these wonderful pics. We highly recommend Pet Vacations. 🙂

I went camping 4th of July week and while I was out of town, there was an issue with where my dogs were staying and I needed immediate help. I called and explained my situation with Pet Vacations and she was amazing with helping me out last minute and during a busy week. My two dogs were in a stressful situation and I was worried about the change of location stressing them out more but I was put at ease by the text and picture updates of both my dogs playing and having a great time. They go out several times a day to play and run and even got to make new doggy friends to play with. I will never use a different boarding facility again!

We recently had Lindsey at Pet Vacations take charge of our previously never left without us 3 1/2 y/o labradoodle. She’s our baby and of course we were very cautious with who we’d trusted with her. We met Lindsey at her location and she showed us around. Mollie, our pup felt very comfortable so we had Mollie do a 24 hr complete day at the board and care. Mollie came back in great shape. Now we feel more comfortable with leaving her for a longer amount of time knowing she’ll be well taken care of. Thanks again Lindsey for your caring support and hope to see you again soon.

My dogs love going to Pet Vacations and the staff is always professional and caring. Over the years on the rare occasion when we’ve had to take our dogs to another facility, they are apprehensive, and show stress, especially if we have to take them to a place a second time. However, they are always happy to arrive at Pet Vacations and run right in the door!

We had a trip to Yosemite planned and found out we could take him on the trail we planned. Called up a day prior and they were more than accommodating for the 2 nights. Brodie seemed to have enjoyed himself. You cannot beat the price and convenience in respect to going to Yosemite from Sacramento.

This is such a fabulous place, so much room to run and play and when I’m taking Wilson here for his vacation and when we turn onto the road Wilson gets so excited cause he knows he’ll meet a friend or some friends for the time he is there. The staff is so caring and loving to him every time he stays here. This is definitely a two thumbs up from my family and especially Wilson. Thanks for your personalized caring for Gods creatures. 👍👍

First time we used Pet Vacations. We have a finicky dog and hate leaving him. The person there when we dropped him off was really good with him and made us feel good about leaving him. They let him out to play on his own instead of group play. Our dog seemed fine when we picked him up when usually he comes out wining and crying like they tortured him.

We've been boarding out pets here for at least 15 years. We know that they're well taken care of and get plenty of exercise in the doggie play yard. Lindsey has been our fairy dog-mother through a couple of adoptions. Highly recommended.

Love this place! I started using them for doggie preschool for my newly adopted pup, and then began sending our 5 year old lab there for doggie daycare. I also use them for boarding! Susan and her staff are professional and put the needs of the dogs as their highest priority! My dogs both have separation anxiety, and even though they are scared to leave my sight, they flourish during boarding! I love how they provide updates and communicate with you about any concerns, if there is any. I feel great knowing the owners live across the street from the facility too, so they are aware of everything that goes on after-hours. Susan also runs a pet rescue: Pixie’s Dancing Paws and Pals, in which she has taken in dogs from varying circumstances and rescued them, and they are looking for their forever homes! When first arriving, we were greeted by very lovely staff, we handed our little guy off to them, he stayed six nights there. They did send a report card and a picture. He was very excited when we picked him up. They said that he did very good his stay. After we got him home and gave him a bath, we noticed that there was a lump on his ear and that he had a scab from the looks of it he was bit.

We love taking our pup here for their doggy day care service. He always enjoys his time there and has had major behavioral improvement at home.

I was worried about boarding my dog for the first time and Susan took time to listen to my concerns and even offered to take Chip for a few hours ahead of time for an evaluation. He did great and stayed 4 full days. Susan and her staff took great care of him and were very understanding and gave me an update every time I called I received his report card with a picture of what he loves to do, be in a pool 😊 I now have a fun and safe place to take him when needed. I highly recommend this facility!!

My boys just got home from their weekend long stay at K9s on the move. And they seem to have loved it! The service is wonderful. My favorite thing is they allow the boys to stay together , just like at home.This is the longest we've been apart from them and we believe they were in good hands. On our way home from Vacation we drove by and seen them outside playing together, which gives us comfort! My frenchie did not want to leave. Thank you to the team for taking care of our boys! This is the 2nd time with you guys and won't be the last.

I’ve been looking for a good boarding place for my dog for a really long time, and all the time i’ve always felt uncomfortable, scared, & worried to leave him because my dog never likes it…. now THIS place, is absolutely amazing. I felt so comfortable the second I dropped him off and didn’t even think twice, they were so kind and reassuring that my dog will be okay and they’ll keep us updated if things happen. My dog never usually eats at other boarding places and always comes back skinny, not this time!! My dog ate all his food and came back looking so happy and healthy. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I really would. It’s so reassuring knowing the owners live right in front of the boarding building just to keep a safe eye. I 100% recommend this place and cannot wait to keep bring my dog here anytime I go on vacation. Bonnie cared for our 2 dogs while we visited Yosemite. They were both super happy to be there even though they are very different personalities. Our older dog needed to be kept calm due to an injured hip and Bonnie did a great job. You can hardly tell she is injured. And our younger dog got to play to her hearts content! Thank you Bonnie for being here and providing a safe and fun environment for our dogs!

We boarded our Pitty with Bonnie just before Christmas for two nights while we explored Yosemite NP and it was a great experience. We were a little worried going in, as a few days prior to our trip stay our pup suffered a pretty bad leg sprain and we were concerned she might injure herself further during puppy play. Bonnie was awesome, and even sent us a couple of email messages during our trip to let us know that our dog was doing well, which we really appreciated.

Very impressed with the care and love. We visited Yosemite with peace of mind knowing our shih tzu was in good hands. Dog heaven

We did a last moment daycare when we were visiting this area for our doggo. The owner was extremely kind & loving. She took care of our doggo Milo very well & accommodated changes in our schedule very gracefully too. We felt happy & safe leaving our doggo. We 100% recommend this place

Bonnie took great care of our Josie. About 5 or 6 dogs getting along. When it gets hot, Bonnie brings them in. Both days when we picked up the dogs were inside, not kenneled just hanging out. If you want to do something and doggie can't go, this is worth the extra time and $$.

Bonnie is a very nice, trustworthy person and you can tell she loves dogs a lot. Your pup will be in good hands with Bonnie. We would highly recommend her!

A Bed and Biscuit is great! Our dogs love it there and Cherie, the owner, loves dogs (and cats) and takes great care of all her guests. Kennels are spacious, well equipped, and there's lots of play time and free roam for the pooches. Plus, Cherie lives on site, a hard requirement for us. I won't leave our pets at a place that does not have someone on site 24/7. Highly recommended!

Cheri treats all the dogs like they were her own. Highly recommend bringing your pet here to try it out. We have been coming here for years, my dog is happy to go and happy when he returns home. Hours are convenient and she's flexible if you are in a bind. We get videos of our dog so that we can see all the fun he is having while we vacation. Can't say enough great things❤️

I have left my little Abby at Bed and Biscuit on several occasions. I am super happy with the treatment she recieved.she had a great time and was treated like a member of the family. I highly recommend Bed and Biscuit.

Sadly they don't take dogs over the weight of 30 pounds. But they were wonderful enough to give Recommended places.

We have used this Kennel for several years. I am so sad that they can’t accept dogs over I think 45 pounds anymore. We will miss this kennel.

We had to leave our 2 dogs for an extended stay (3 months) after our pet/house sitter fell through at the last minute. Our dogs were very, very well cared for while we were gone. I am so grateful for the caring staff! Our dogs were happy and healthy when we were finally able to make it back home :)

We called on a Wednesday searching for a place that could take our dog Thurs-Sat morning during spring break. Everywhere was full and the Paws Inn called us back as they had found a spot for him knowing we really needed it. They took great care of our boy and he even had another large friend to play with during his stay!

The staff was great!!!! We left our two little guys with them for 3 days. First time ever boarded them. We called everyday and they gave us updates saying they we're fine. So thanks Paws Inn!!!! Great job!! Rick and Dacy

Tillie our 8 month old Lab loves it their. We do play day and over night stays 3 or 4 times a month. Recently remodeled. Indoor/outdoor kennels. Heated and cooled. Reasonable rates. Friendly staff.

Paws Inn has been nothing but wonderful, the staff is awesome and they treat your dogs as if they were their own. Their pricing is very reasonable, you can't beat it. Just all around an awesome place to take your pooch. 😊

We've tried a few places to board our doggo when we can't take him out of town with us, and Paws Inn is where we take him now. The staff is friendly, and greets him by name when we arrive. He always looks happy and healthy when we arrive home. 13/10 doggos would agree.

I could get my dog washed for just 25 bucks. The help is always friendly and I enjoy going there I probably would have found it if my dog didn't have an emergency and I went to Mono that's next door. While I was waiting for my dog to get fixed up I notice assignment so I walked over there and talk to them. This is where I get my dog washed from now on

They were able to fit our puppy in for boarding during a last minute trip while our normal (in town) boarding facility was remodeling. So thankful to have thought to look in Sonora

This was our first time having to board our American bulldog Stormy. I was very excited but nervous as well. Alexis and Dawson were so welcoming and took great care of my baby girl! The facility is welcoming and I was given the option to bring things for my dog to be comfortable or nothing at all as they had it taken care of. I will absolutely be using them again in the future! If I could rate a 10 star I would! Thank you DPP!!

We left our dog Walter here whilst we went for a long weekend away. It was the first time we had left him since getting him and we were worried as he is blind and deaf. The lady we spoke to however was really understanding and reassured us that he would be well cared for whilst we were away. When we picked him up, he was really happy (and tired!) and she even gave us a summary of how he'd eaten and friends he made. Overall, a great experience, especially for nervous owners! We'll definitely be using them again next time we're away.

This was our first time bringing our pup to Darby's Pet Paradise and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our Shepherd/Husky mix is 7 months old so we haven't had her too long but we were going on a trip for 2 weeks and wanted her to be able to play and socialize while we were gone. They were very communicative and helpful from the beginning. And PJ was so amazing with our sweet girl. It took her a couple of days to settle in but after that, she had the best time and was cared for beyond what we could've ever hoped for. We will definitely be bringing her back for any future travel and hopefully they will be doing daycare in the future as she loved playing with the other dogs there. Great place to kennel my dog. Due to overbooking in my own area and a four day convention in the Modesto area I contacted Darby`s and booked. I was not disappointed. The 1st thing noticed was a mistake made by my vet of missing a rabies vaccine. I'd been in for shots the week before. Corrections made I arrived to a very clean facility. The conclusion was a early pick-up on Sunday with the bribery of two chocolate chip cookies from the hotel I was allowed to pick-up three hours early. Great facilities highly recommend .

Vanessa did a great job in providing care for our pup. Would strongly recommend to anyone needing boarding for their dogs. The environment was peaceful and clean. Our pup was happy to be there. I look forward to taking our pup their again. Thanks!

I left my dog there this weekend and the facility was clean and organized. The staff was friendly and you could clearly see their love for animals from the way they treated our dog. I would definitely use them again. Our dig returned home happy and healthy.

Our dog Koda seemed really happy when we picked him up! It was obvious that he was well taken care of and not just locked up in a kennel. Everything was professionally done from check in to pick up! We know our pet who is part of our family was safe and well taken care of while we were away!

Boarded my 2 dogs at Darby's and one has never been boarded before. I was so worried about him but once he got here he was running around so happy. Picked them and they looked like they had a great time. Owners were amazing and took great care of my babies.

I tried using this boarding service . Let’s just say 1st of all they don’t seem to answer their phone during the hours they are open. I had to call a couple days in a row. Second of all I knew my cat needed to get shots but I almost noticed that on pet paradise site it says the shots needed to be done and after 48 hours so I asked on of the sisters if they could wave that? I explained my cat is a 100% indoor cat. She said don’t worry I totally understand we can wave it. The day I was going to bring cat I was at vet when I had called to make sure I could bring cat . The other sister answered and rudely said I cannot accept the cat. It has to be over 48 hours of getting shots. I explained once again the Vet even piped in why? If your cat is 100% indoor cat never been near another cat I don’t see issue. But to no avail. I’m sure they might be great with pets but when one tells you one thing and then supposedly questions her sister and her sister doesn’t cop to it makes you think. They are seemed to be the perfect place but everything is not what it seems! I understand the rules of what’s posted on website that’s exactly why I asked one of the sisters about waving that. I was told I must of miss understood what she said. I’ve been in business for over 40 years believe me no reason to miss understand. Thanks

My doggy had such a great time he didn't want to come home. I know I can rest a sure that my KiKi is safe there at pet hotel. Had a great stay and a nice bath. Home safe and sound. Thank you Jill and Antoinette. Appreciate your care.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! Antoinette treats each one of our dogs like her own ! She patiently takes all of our calls And provides us with great updates regarding our pet’s well being. There is a veterinary office right next store and she doesn’t hesitate to contact them for any health concerns of the pets she takes care of. She spends time with each one of our pets to gain their trust and to make them comfortable with her. We trust her and highly recommend this pet boarding facility! Judy Turpin

My dog loves this place he has been boarding there now for some time. When he enters he is all wags and he happily goes right up and jump up on the counter. He is in a great mode when we pick him up too, these ladies really care for their boarders as if they were their own! I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a pet sitter. Oh yeah just let you all know our boy is a 90# German shepherd/ Pitbull mix and so no dog is to big for them.

My cat Muffin has stayed here now for over fours years. Pat and Alice are great to work with. Great atmosphere very large and clean pens for cats with a lot of toys to play and climb on.

we left our cats here for three days, the kennels were big for them , and each one had a climbing tree. clean. Our cats will be staying here from now on. very calm atmosphere for them, thank you

Our 5 month old puppy came home with infected bloody wounds on his throat from being attacked by another dog or dogs. This was almost 2 years ago, but I still feel like it’s worth mentioning because of the severity of the injury, the negligence in caring for my puppy’s wounds, the fact that we were never notified that it had happened, how long-lasting the effects of this incident have been (permanent), and because they never acknowledged in any way or took responsibility for what happened.
