Charlie was our first zeewoi petsitter, and he was amazing! He's a very personable and friendly person who obviously cares greatly for animals. We were gone for almost 2 months, so this was a long sit. He took care of our two cats and dog. Charlie sent us TONS of updates and photos and the animals always looked happy and well cared for. He left the house tidy and promptly brought up any concerns regarding the animals or household issues. We had a little health scare with one of the cats while we Charlie was there, and he handled the situation perfectly - he told us about it right away and brought the cat to the vet. Don't hesitate to use Charlie as a pet/house sitter. The animals miss him already!

This was our first time using a house sitter and I think we have been spoiled. Norm and Nancy sat our place and animals, (4 dogs, 4 ducks, and 7 rabbits) During and arctic freeze and several heavy snowstorms. They took excellent care of our animals and home despite the severe winter conditions. They have a very professional approach and left our house as we left it if not better. Our Dogs missed them after they left and while we were away we enjoyed Nancy's daily blog about our animals. It gave us peace of mind knowing that our animals were being taking care of the way we would. Nancy, being a nurse practitioner, took special care of our old dog that required medicine and special treatment. We were nervous about leaving him until we met Norm and Nancy. We are interested in house sitting someday and they are perfect role models to follow.

Past house sitters have found my dog Wilbur to be enjoyable to care for, however I recognize that not all pets and humans bond. I sensed that Brian did not really spend much time engaging with my dog. Wilbur had a sore eye filled with matter when I returned and Brian either didn’t notice or didn’t care to inform me of this. I had asked my son to come over for the final feeding/potty of Wilbur so Brian could leave early due to poor weather. My son misunderstood and came over a day early and notified me of Wilburs eye problem. Despite being there another day Brian did not inform me of the eye problem. The house had sticky dirty countertops in the kitchen and bathroom - linens were not laundered or changed out. Brian left items in the house, so overall not a great sit.

Abby was truly the best pet sitter we've ever had. We were never concerned or worried about the care of our pups and home. All the neighbors have told me that the dogs looked happy on the many walks. She sent videos of photos about every other day. We hope that Abby will stay in our home next summer as well. Abby is very highly recommended by our whole family, including the dogs!!!

Lisa and her friend Sara were amazing pet and house sitters! We can't say enough great things about them - our pets were so calm when we returned from our trip and so happy... Lisa and Sara kept in touch with us regularly and sent us beautiful photos of the pets as well. We returned to a spotless home, fresh flowers and a note with polaroids of Soy, Calvin and Chickie! Not only did Krista take great care of our cat while we were away, she left the house cleaner than she found it. She also kept in touch with occasional photos and videos of kitty antics, which gave me peace of mind that the cat was well-cared for. Tom provided a last minute sit when my 2 week long trip got extended to the 3rd. The previous zeewoi sitter was no longer available for the 3rd week, and Tom came in as a savior. As requested, he started his sit a day prior to the posted dates (thank you for being flexible). He met the prior zeewoi in person, since I was not in town, and got to know the house and cats quickly. He sent pictures of the cats each day and added a note about their well being. He was independent and was able to figure out how to use the litter genie on his own. I returned to a clean home and healthy happy cats. Would love to have Tom return and recommend him to anyone leaving their pets in his care.

Kuldip exceeded all the expectations we had from a Zeewoi. She took over from another sitter when we got stuck out of country due to a family emergency. A highly energetic person yet extremely organized, she easily matched the energy level of my 2-year-old Border Collie Pavo. She not only exercised him multiple times every day, but even him bought him new doggy toys and treats (much appreciated!). She got along very well with our neighbor and with their combined help Pavo got a much needed doggy bath! With her by my dogs side we were worry-free and able to focus on our family needs. Lastly, she left a pleasant surprise when we came back home. Our home looked squeaky clean and beautifully organized. Kuldip is a gem of a pet sitter and we would love to have her back for our fur baby without any hesitation. I highly recommend her!

Steve & the team at Canine Connections are the best! We came in from out of state to visit family & they quickly made room for our pooches & treated them like they were their own. They truly were a Godsend since we had to bring them for doggie daycare at the last minute because our one dog was having terrible separation anxiety if we went to leave the place we were staying at. They made us & our pooches comfortable & made it possible to visit family without a bunch of stress. The facility is clean & we really appreciate that they group the pooches taking play style into account, since our Beabull is only 6 yrs. old but has severe hip dysplasia & can't play hard for too long. We are definitely coming back & are beyond grateful for all their help & giving our kids a safe, clean place to be loved on while we were away. Our pooches made some great new friends & came home happy & healthy tired! Thank you so much Steve! We will see you again soon!
Canine Connections has been a godsend for us and our puppy.. The new owners have been nothing short of amazing with the pups, and ours in particular adore them. We use their services for doggy daycare and boarding, and our pup is absolutely enjoying her times there. Edit: Canine Connections now has dog grooming services. Their resident groomer, Dalilah, is wonderful in her work to keep our Daisy looking like Pretty-Puppy-Princess she is. The before and after pics are below. Steve and his team did a fantastic job caring for my dog for 2 weeks while on vacation. We could tell that they really cared for Joey and got to know him well. They went above and beyond and provided reassurance with updates from afar. We plan to be back on our next vacation without hesitation. Would highly recommend!

Not only is the owner a true dog person who literally loves every dog that walks in, their entire staff clearly enjoy working with the dogs with a smile on their faces every time we drop off our pick up our dog. Also, they use some kind of magic doggie shampoo that lasts for weeks longer than anything we've tried. The place is clean, especially for a doggie place, and we trust them to take care of our dog. He seems to like going there but that's just a guess because he likes every human he meets!

Excellent! They know the names of all the dogs and genuinely care about them. The dogs are usually right there with the staff rather than in cages. They are caged for feedings and sleep. Love this place! The groomer gave my dog a nice trim and bath before I picked her up after boarding. My dog smells like cupcakes and looks great!

Shelly is one of the best pet sitter I encounter. She took good care of our 2 rescued dogs while we are looking for our place to stay here in Chicago. Shelly treated our dogs as her own and will go extra for them just to make sure they’re in good hands and comfortable which put my mind in peace. She always update and send pictures of our dogs. Both my dogs are rescues,one is deaf and the other terrified of strangers,but Michelle knew how to work with them both..I even received pics of the scared one giving her kisses which is a big deal..I received pictures and texts with updates each day which helped ease my mind..Both dogs came back happy so I know they were well cared for. I recently left my 2 dogs with Doggie Staycation and I couldn't be happier! They picked up my dogs and returned them to me. They sent me frequent pictures and updates of the dogs while in their care. It was our first time boarding our 20 pound Westie dog. We had a great experience! She was very responsive to text and answered all of our questions prior to our trip. She does pick up and drop off your dog which is really convenient. She paid attention to details about our dog as well. We would use her again! She was fabulous! :)
Shelly took wonderful care of our dog, Arlo! Instantly Arlo felt comfortable with her and loved how affectionate she was with him. I appreciated how she sent pics of arlo throughout the long weekend with updates on how he was doing. Would definitely ask Shelly to watch Arlo again!! Our Addison (German Shepherd) has terrible anxiety and can’t be boarded so we were so ecstatic to find Michelle. Addison immediately felt comfortable with Michelle and had a great night in her home.
