Becky is simply the best! This was her second time at our home, Egret Cove. This sit, Becky took care of two of our dogs, Hannah and Trixie and our two cats, Cali and Baby Kitty. All of them love Becky and are so relaxed around her. It had been a year since her first sit, but all four were happy to be left in her care. Baby Kitty and Becky have a special bond and she loves Becky so much. From the time that Becky got to our Home until the time that she left, all of our furry family members were happy and content. Becky left the house with everything clean and in its place. Becky is not only a delight for the animals to visit with, but us too. With her delightful personality and easy going outlook we so enjoyed our visit with Becky prior to leaving for two weeks. Becky sent us wonderful photos of the fur family in their daily routines as well as written updates, which always are so reassuring to those that are away from their furry family members. Although we met on zeewoi only last year, Becky is not only a pet sitter for us but a wonderful friend. She will always have a special place in our hearts and is welcome back to sit or visit! 5 stars just seems much too small for a sitter like Becky, so we are personally giving her 10 stars and 100 hearts for being the best sitter and such a lovely person. Sarah was fantastic. She took excellent care of my pets and even looked out for my house by sending me pictures of a car that parked on my property that shouldn’t have been there. She’s so pleasant and thoughtful, sending me pictures of my Great Dane and cat. She even let my Great Dane sleep with her (he’s used to sleeping with me) which shows just how wonderful she is and patient since he’s a bed hog. I truly hope she will sit for me again in the future - she’s an absolute gem.

Having Jennifer and Stuart as our zeewoi was a fantastic experience. From the start, we were very comfortable with their calm, friendly, and curious demeanor. During the weeks leading up to their sit dates, our communications were superb. They were available 100% of the time that we needed to touch base, and they asked the right questions about our home, our 4 year old dachshund Hamish, and what they needed to be prepared for when visiting Portugal. Every aspect of their sit was a 5-star experience for us. As animal lovers and owners themselves, they embraced our pup with the utmost care and attention to his needs. We received regular updates while we were traveling, which gave us great comfort. When Jennifer and Stuart went out to explore our attractions, they brought our pup along whenever they could. After a few days, it seemed that they chose experiences that were specifically dog-friendly, just as we do when we are home. Upon our return, Hamish was calm and relaxed, having been well-exercised and unstressed during our travels. Our home was in immaculate, perfect condition. It was impossible to tell that anybody had been here the entire time. If you are lucky enough to meet Jennifer and Stuart, we cannot recommend them enough. You would be making a fantastic decision for the care of your home and your pets. They are friendly, genuine people and we know we will have a mutual interest in staying in touch with them in the years ahead. Once again, zeewoi has proven to be an amazing resource for us.

Karen is lovely person who helped us out over Christmas for a couple of days. Unfortunately she had covid so we had to do a non contact arrival and departure. I personally like to do in inperson hand over in the beginning, but there was nothing either party could do. She sent photos of the dogs and they looked happy as can be. Why we only gave her a 4 star rating is that our house smelled of distinct smokey odor. ( we are non smokers which states clearly in our welcome guide) It took over an hour to get the smell out by opening the doors. This really upset both my husband and myself. Agian she is a lovely person and talented as she left a wood carved ornament that she made which was appreciated. all the best Kathy

honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.

This was our first time using a pet or house sitter and the bar set by Leslie is very high! She is warm, friendly, communicative, responsible and very clean. Upon arriving, she immediately bonded with our rat terrier, Oreo, by bringing him a new frisbee (his favorite toy/activity) and throwing it for him in our backyard. Leslie has a sweet and mellow dog, Benny, who is now Oreo's new buddy! She kept my husband and I updated via texts/pictures of their daily activities, our house, and was proactive in asking questions before she left. She even dropped our dog off at the kennel for one night at the end of our trip since our flight was too late for us to get home for him! Our home was clean and had fresh flowers from our garden that she put in vases for us! Such a simple and nice touch! We have asked Leslie to come back to sit for us again for 2 weeks in August. I'd highly recommend her to take care of your pet(s) and home too!

Once again, having AnnaMarie take care of our pups was absolutely the right choice!! Her frequent updates, care of our house and fur babies was stellar! Although the dogs were thrilled to see us when we returned, as we chatted with Annemarie, we could see them continuing to go to her for affection and cuddles. It was so sweet to watch our one-year-old lick her ear and Annamarie just giggled and happily tolerated it. What a great sport😎. We would highly recommend her to anyone and would also suggest if you happen to see a less than perfect review for her ( there is only 1)I know the true story... it's unfortunate that some people are so unappreciative of someone who will go out of their way to care for their home and Pets (at no charge🙃🙃)-- it just boggles my mind and am confident they are not being honest! Suffice it to say she is a gem and perfect sitter in every way- if you can get a chance to book with her- do not hesitate! We truly think of her as part of our family now and all 5 of our pups would agree!

Carolina was a fantastic Pet sitter. From the beginning, it was straightforward to communicate with her. She met us before we left our trip and ensured she understood all the house and pet logistics. Luna and Cal were very comfortable with her and were best friends with her fast. She was very affectionate with them, and Luna and Cal loved her and were very happy with her. Carolina was very responsive and sent updates. She was really lovely and easy to communicate with. She was very respectful of our space and very tidy. She even washed the sheets and towels she used even when she didn’t need to. She put a lot of care into caring for Luna and Cal, and they looked very comfortable with her. Having Carolina as a pet sitter made our trip very easy, knowing our pets were cared for so well. We would love to have her back to sit for us again and highly recommend her.

Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.

Absolutely Incredible.... I will not lie, I was hesitant because David did not have any pet sits before this one (gotta start somewhere) but because he did the background check I decided to contact him. We had a great phone conversation and the decision was made. He came to my house the night before I was leaving to learn all the ins and outs of taking care of my fur babies and then put himself up in a hotel for the night before the sit date. The next day he came over in the morning to learn a few more details before I left. I could not have chosen a better house sitter for my 2nd house sit . David communicated with me daily, sent pictures and we spoke via facetime. My little guy was feeling sick when David started and with diligence, love and kindness he was able to get my little guy eating again and feeling better. I would invite David back into my home over and over again but I am pretty sure he is going to be in high demand. Thank you David for everything!

Neil and Anne have just sat for us for a second time, for a week. They are outstanding sitters in every way. Always punctual with communication and arrival. They both have responsible jobs and this is evident as they are both very organised. They care very much about the animals they look after. We were regularly sent updates, pictures and video clips of them, which is great to see when you are away. When we came home we were greeted by happy pets and an immaculately tidy house. We cannot recommend Neil and Anne enough. As far as we are concerned they are perfect housesitters! …...Hopefully they will come back and sit again soon!

After dropping off our baby French bulldog I called them to check to see how he was doing as he just like one of our children. When I asked how he was I was told he was fine and was basically told if I don't hear from them then everything was okay ( no news is good news), making me think that it wasn't ok to call and check on him. When we picked him up we automatically noticed he wasn't acting right. First of all he smelled like feces and urine, and he was shaking and limping on his hind leg. Needless to say he has not been the same dog as when we dropped him off. I would never use this place again. From now on we will take him with us. He also looked like he had lost weight!!!!
We picked our dogs up today. Maybe my expectations are too high after using a facility like going to the dogs, or I just didn't understand the quality of service provided by the description in the website, but I have 2 major issues. When I got in my jeep to leave, I noticed my dogs smelled horrible, almost like they had been sitting in their own waste for 2 days. When I received my little dogs bed, it was wet, I thought it was from water spillage until I smelled it, and it was soaked with urine. They didn't even tell me it was urine. They just handed it to me like this was a normal thing. Luckily, I have leather seats in my vehicle, or I would be requesting a full refund to pay someone to get the smell out. I washed both of my dogs twice, and my lab still doesn't smell his normal self. This was exactly how I wanted to conclude my Father's Day weekend.
We’ve been using Sterling Acres since rescuing our Boxer Mollie three years ago. We have never had a negative experience. Ashley is prompt, responsive, communicative and runs a clean and professional business, but mostly she makes me feel at ease when leaving my fur child. I can relax away from her knowing she’s in good hands Mollie feels comfortable at each drop off and we feel comfortable dropping her off. The new kennel is amazing and it sounds like there’s more enrichment in the works. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sterling Acres.
Ashley took great care of my fur family (3 noisey schnauzers and an even noisier Pom/Chinese Crested) yet again! She calls them chatty, but I bless her for putting up with all the noise! Anyone looking for really good kennel care when they have to be away should give Nimh Kennel a call!❤️❤️❤️

Boarding my dog here was one of the best decisions I ever made for her care. The owner of this kennel absolutely loves dogs and treats the dogs that stay here like they are part of his family. He spends individual time with each animal, showing them personal care and affection, and each dog has its own place to go outside whenever they want. Not only is the service great, but the price is very reasonable as well. On a personal note, our dog Mollie stayed here twice. She had been sick for some time, unfortunately, unrelated to her stay here, but she passed away unexpectedly the night prior to when she was supposed to be boarded. I contacted Mike and he offered his condolences. Then, Mike called me back and offered to help me bury my beloved pet. I cannot tell you enough how great the service is here, please do not look anywhere else for your boarding needs! Thank you Mike! Mollie loved you.
