Sally and Geoff's second sit for us of the summer and because they know us, our house and (most importantly) our dogs so well now it felt rather like welcoming them home. They seem to have a few favourite places in Richmond now so we were treated to photos of Maximus and Enzo out and about, enjoying life, being treated like little princes and (almost) forgetting that we even exist. For us, the peace of mind is priceless and we couldn't recommend Sally and Geoff more highly. So thanks to them again for looking after our boys so well - and also for the clean house and lovely quiche - and we'll hopefully catch up another time in the not too distant future.

Ian and Irene are purrfect sitters! They are friendly,accommodating, and reliable. They went out of their way to help look after Llew the cat, leaving the house clean as a pin. There were some unusual circumstances but they were very willing to help which meant that we could totally relax on our holiday. We can not praise them enough and would totally recommend them as perfect house and pet sitters.

From the moment we met Sheila and Gareth we knew that our 2 cocker spaniels, Josh and Oscar, would be in capable hands and we left the next morning for our holiday knowing that we didn’t have to worry about them. Sheila kept us up to date with details and photographs of walks and quiet time ( dogs snuggled up with Gareth on sofas or beds ! ). When we returned home, our house was spotless, Gareth had mowed the back lawn and Sheila had cooked food for us. Would not hesitate in recommending Sheila and Gareth for future dog sits.

Heather and Tom returned to our house in order, this time, to look after just Rory. It was lovely to see them again and to catch up a little. Rory was immediately chatty and completely at ease in their presence. I like to think he recognised their sensitive and gentle ways, knowing he was safe and would be much loved and entertained. I too felt totally happy and reassured that Heather and Tom would instinctively know how to handle Rory and allow him to bond in his own time. Indeed, within the hour before I left, he was playing and wallowing in their attention and affection. When I returned 48 hours later (they had left a short time before) he was utterly settled and contented. Heather and Tom are superb sitters. They made a very long and tedious journey to help me out and suffered the inevitable traffic hold-ups that typify a hot Bank Holiday drive. Everything was immaculate when I got back. They had taken on the job of watering my plant pots as well as taking care of domestic tasks so I had a lazy evening. I recommend them highly as house and pet sitters and hope they will be able to manage other oportunities to come my way!

Joanne and Paul were just wonderful sitters for Freya and my home and it was so nice to have a bit of time to meet them, and share a dinner the night before as well as having them drop off and pick me up at the airport! Freya was obviously so well cared for as she didn't even care about me coming home! The house was spotless, and they even had to rally through a couple of household bumps for me with absolutely no complaint and such helpfulness that it made it a relief for me to be away, knowing my cat and home were in good and capable hands. Thank you so much for being here, loving on Freya and I'd love to have you back anytime! you may need to come in the winter sometime to see the snow in Tahoe!

Welsh/American family: lost in Cornwall (good at scritchy-scratches & snuggling)
This was only a one night sit but Gemma and Ben included Ziggy in everything they did and showed him a lot of love. They even made a super little TikTok video of Ziggy’s time with them which really touched me (they even included Ziggy in feeding the fish in the pond). It was only a one night sit, which we were very grateful to find, so I did tell Gemma NOT to do any cleaning or bother with the bed, but we came home to a spotless kitchen and yes, the bed was stripped and duvet folded neatly. And Ziggy was clearly so comfortable and happy when we got home. Thank you

Abby was truly the best pet sitter we've ever had. We were never concerned or worried about the care of our pups and home. All the neighbors have told me that the dogs looked happy on the many walks. She sent videos of photos about every other day. We hope that Abby will stay in our home next summer as well. Abby is very highly recommended by our whole family, including the dogs!!!

Melissa did an AWESOME job with our 4 pets! Her personal style and communication via text, video, and pics were stellar and super comforting while we were out of town for 2 weeks. She showed up before the sit to go over instructions for the pet care and was even here when we returned (before she left for her next engagement). You would never know this was her first TH sit. She quickly earned our trust, asked for clarification when needed, and overall is just a GREAT PERSON!! Her kindness showed through in the care of each and every one of our furry babies. She will be a great sitter for others and is looking to travel across and see more of the US while remote working. We have adopted her into our family and she is welcome in our home anytime. Jeremy and Brooke were fantastic! We have a senior dog and a over hyper pittie. They gave Daisy her meds and had lengthy walks with Fin to burn off some of his energy. Brooke sent me regular texts to show me precious pictures of the pups by the Christmas tree, which warmed my ❤️. The house looked great when we returned. 5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Farhan is a fantastic house sitter! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a down-to-earth, kind, and caring pet sitter for their home. We have three small dogs (around 6 lbs) and he took excellent care of them. They can be a little nervous/ timid around new people, and more so around men at times, but the dogs didn't show any of that nervousness around Farhan! He was gentle and respectful of their space and they warmed up to him immediately. I got a wonderful text the first morning that I was away that they cuddled up with him at night - showing how quickly they adjusted to him as their caretaker. I was able to meet Farhan in person before I left on my trip and I was able to have a wonderful conversation with an ambitious explorer. He is a delightful person. Upon my homecoming the house was very clean and the dogs were happy and relaxed. I can't ask for anything more! Thank you Farhan for taking such wonderful care of our three dogs and our home.

Tom was the PERFECT pet and house sitter. I went out of town for a while after my dad passed, and I had a few pet sitters bail before he came in for the rescue. He cleaned up the messes and I came home to a clean house and VERY happy babies! My two dogs LOVED him. He is extremely reliable, clean, trustworthy and was incredibly caring to my dogs. I would have him back ANYTIME and HIGHLY recommend him!!
