Love this kennel. My pal stays here every time I leave town. He comes home clean, calm and happy. He has separation anxiety but this kennel works for him. He has his own, clean kennel space when he is there. I am so happy I found John after trying many other options.

Outstanding in every way. We have boarded our dogs with them as well as had training. John and Allison always make you feel like family and are a joy to work with. We have attended the initial training classes and the off leash class as well. I highly recommend Cotten's Sunset Kennels to any one who wants a greater experience with their dog.

My cotton came from Allison and John. Almost a year since I was with my cotton. He is very gentle, smart and healthy. During the adoption process, Allison introduced new things to the puppies according to their developmental stage and did her best to ensure their health. Today I visit them again to get my cotton a little more trained. Highly recommended to those looking for a cotton puppy and a lovely small to medium sized dog!

We have one of Allison and John's Coton de Tulear puppies who is now 5 months. He is a treasure with a delightful personality, and very, very smart. We made a special arrangement with them to keep him in their home for an additional 9 weeks for potty training, crate training, and a solid foundation of obedience training...which they did! He came to us with a vocabulary of 9 commands that we are reinforcing to the best of our ability. Though still very much a puppy, Flash is already a family member and one of the best dogs we have had!

This was our first time ever leaving our dog (Copper) at a boarding kennel, so I was beyond nervous to drop him off. The second I saw John interact with Copper, all of my worry went away. It was such a relief knowing he was in good hands, and made our time away more relaxing. I strongly recommend using Cotten's Sunset Kennels to board your dog! We will be using them again in the future!

I'm always leery the first time I take a pet to a kennel. He's my baby! But I trust Cotten's Sunset Kennels so much that I also enrolled my puppy in training with them after his first stay at the kennel. John and Allison know how to take care of animals, and I trust that my dog is well cared for, protected and loved while he is there. And thank you for the dog training! There's a huge difference.

I just completed 4 training sessions with my 5 month old Golden Retriever and John & Allison were wonderful! Very patient, kind and explained techniques so well. I look forward to attending more sessions in the future.

AMAZING. Our pup, 15 months old, went to Cotten's for boarding and training recently. SHE is a different puppy! I absolutely recommend Cotten's Sunset Kennels to anyone. John is amazing and this definitely changed our life and what we can do in the future now. She used to be a little naughty!❤️ Highly recommended.

My 4 year old Boston Terrier just spent a week at Cotten's Sunset. The kennel is clean, comfortable and my dog was well cared for! He injured a paw because he was so excited to see me, and John patched him up before we left! We'll be back, it's great to have a trustworthy kennel in the area.

I take my Australian Shepard to Tanya for grooming and she comes out looking like a competition show dog every time. Tony and Tania are honest and make me feel welcome every time I visit. Recently, I had a dog agility seminar and people who have AKC competition show dog Aussie lines were complimenting me on how fabulous Leia's grooming looks.

If I could give Pawty Breakers 10 stars, I would! They were angels sent for my seniors, Penny and Barkley who have now passed away. Penny, Barkley and now Carmela and Johnny love Tony and Tanya visits and walks. We are blessed to have them in our community.

Tony has been walking Milo for several months now and I am so grateful for how much it has helped me. I had completely forgot how much work it is to raise a puppy and I was having some challenges with Milo. Tony has not only been helping by walking with Milo but he also gives me great advice on how to work with Milo myself. Milo absolutely loves Tony and is so happy when he pulls up to get him. The first time Milo met both Tony and Tanya he instantly loved them and he listens to them both so well. They are true dog whisperers.

The team behind Pawty Breakers, Tony and Tanya, are amazing! My boyfriend and I are so happy we found them! Our schedules were full with college classes making it so our 1 year old Bully Pit, Oakley, had to stay home alone for a decent amount of time. With Pawty Breakers help we were able to go through school stress free knowing that Oakley was in great hands. Communication was wonderful-Tony would reach out to double check the plans we had made and I loved all the photos and videos of our doggo on his walk. It was easy to see that Oakley was enjoying every second which made me feel better knowing he was getting his well deserved outside time while we were at school. Tony also helped so much with Oakley’s leash manners-he pulled super hard, making walks with him not much fun for the humans! Less than a week of Tony and ourselves working with Oaks we noticed his pulling lessened so much that we were able to go on long, more relaxing and walks without a dead arm afterwards. Pawty Breakers is a trustworthy, experienced business that I would recommend to anyone who needs a little extra help with their furry friends! Thank you for all you’ve done for us, Pawty Breakers! My dog used to pull me off my feet on walks. The Gentle Leader did not help. Tony and Tanya at Pawty Breakers showed me a different method on how to get my dog to talk beside me with no pulling!

After our groomer we'd used for 6 years up and left without notifying us I was in a quandary with four dogs that need regular grooming. I called all the groomers in the area and most didn't answer or others said they don't take doodles or new clients. So I asked for recommendations on Facebook and rave reviews were given for Pawty Breakers. They answered my call, got my dogs right in, and provided exceptional quality grooming for my motley crew of dogs. And to top it all off, you can clearly see they absolutely love dogs!! They will be getting our business for years to come.

Jill (dog) has been part of the Pawty Breakers Pack for a few months , and she loves when they stop by for a walk, cuddles and food. Her humans are confident leaving the house knowing that Jill will be cared for as if she was their own dog. We love the photos texted on each visit. Pawty Breakers got us through an emergency when we had to be gone from the house longer than expected. I don't know what this did their schedule, but I was never made to feel like we were an inconvenience or a bother. Jill's humans even learned better dog walking techniques that make walking time more enjoyable for Jill and us. The customer service is A+, and more important, is their care for our pets.

We were so incredibly impressed with Pawty Breakers. They did a great job pet sitting while my husband and I were out of town. They were professional, flexible, and had excellent communication. We will definitely be using them again!

Our Paco is 17 and a half years old, and Ginger is 16. We are so grateful for having the Pawty Breakers care for them. Its like they get their own vacation. When we come home, our puppies are peppier and bouncier then when we left. We can relax on our time away and know our family is receiving the best care available.

You ever have a vacation where you wonder if your dogs are having a better vacation than you? You probably had them at Kistler Kennels. We forgot about them after seeing the daily pictures. (Look at their Facebook page). This is super comforting knowing we are looking for permanent vacation property in the area. We will be regulars. Home away from home for the dogs.

If I could leave a negative 50 I would. Was told they would take our dog, explained she is an American bully but is a normal 1 year old pup. She loves on our kids ranging from 1 to 10 and no issues with other dogs at all. Set up a meet and greet. My husband left on the designated day, called and said he was on the way did the time still work? Was told by owner 10 minutes before the scheduled time that they would not take her because of her breed. They did not even see her and did not let us know ahead of time as we scheduled the meeting days ahead of time. Sad they breed discriminate. Found a much better place with Applewood kennels. Thank God not all people are this unprofessional and am happy they did not get our baby as they obviously would have not treated her with the love we do. The least they could have done was let us know ahead of time.

They were able to take my dogs on short notice as we were in town for a funeral. My dogs are always so excitable and a little much so was grateful for the hospitality and great service. I would recommend! We will be back if in town again!

This was the best place to take our dogs while we went out on the sand dunes. Our dogs were well cared for and happy! We ran into a problem and we’re not able to get back to Kistler kennels when we thought and they were amazing and made us feel so much better! Thank you everyone at Kistler kennels for being so gracious and loving our pups!!

Our first experience with overnight boarding with our 10 month old pup. Mrs. Visscher and family treated her like she was their own and she was just as excited being with them. That certainly helped us with "our" separation anxiety! We'll definitely use them again during future trips up to Michigan.

I left my dog for the first time ever. He enjoyed his stay so well he didn't want to leave. The owner did a great job and when I go away next time I will use her Kennel.

Jon did a fairly large job for us. He was able to problem solve, always asked our preferences, worked steady. Kept his work precise and neat and clean. He comes prepared. His work is meticulous. Very happy with his work and would recommend him unconditionally. His business is aptly named, “Precision”.

We boarded a dog here after a family member passed away. Not only did they love on our dog and make sure she had lots of fun and played with other dogs, but they took the time to offer condolences and said they'd be happy to help us out at any time. If i lived in this area i would for sure use them all the time!

Love this Place!! If you ever need a place to take your Fur Babies, This is the Place!! The Staff is so caring! They go out of their way to make sure your Fur Babies are taken care of to the fullest!

The best place to bring your dog for an overnight stay! My dog really liked it there and they took her for a walk sometimes twice a day! Then they post pictures of your dog taking a walk on Facebook so you can see them everyday while enjoying your vacation! Great idea!

The best kennel our dog has ever been to out of Michigan, NYC and California. We lived here five years ago and we still talk about it, he loved it so much

Anderson Creek Kennels was a great place to keep our dog during a stay to Ludington. They were responsive and reassuring that our dog was in good hands.

This is Peanut, and she LOVES Anderson Creek Kennels! She gets so excited when we turn down the road where they're located. The ladies who work there are always so lovely and happy and the owner is a kind and considerate man. Peanut has been staying with them exclusively for the past 3 years and I've no plans to send her anywhere else!

Very accommodating with our last minute plans 2 DAYS IN A ROW while visiting the area on our vacation!! Very happy with the service. Our normal doggy daycare place that we've used the last 3 years near Michigan Adventures suddenly implemented a new policy that supposedly took into action 2 years ago that you cannot book a day care the day of.... even though we have in the past all 3 times and nothing has ever been said. Anderson creek kennels is our new go to if we are in the area. Thank you to the wonderful staff that is taking care of our pups!!

They are so incredibly caring and do an awesome job to see that your fur baby's stay is amazing. They even post pics each day so you can check up on them while you are away. Highly recommend!

First kennel stay for our pup and they were great! Took her on walks and made sure she has everything she needed to feel at home. Also love that they take photos throughout the day so you can see what your pet is up to. Will definitely go there again next time we're in town.

Friendly and loving towards the animals - they treat them as if they were their own! I have three dogs and they love being at the Kennel! The staff is amazing - the dogs are walked and played with, they take pictures and post them for us to see, and we parents are treated well also! Highly recommend this Kennel!
