Deer Bark Boarding is a great place to leave your fur babies! We felt relaxed on our trip knowing he would be taken care of and safe. Tucker came home happy and that made us happy!! We will be boarding here again. Carrie is so nice and sweet and takes good care of the animals.

Carrie’s operation is the cleanest I have used over the years. It is obvious that she cares about her charges and it shows. Our two Aussies enjoy staying with her. I highly recommend Deer Bark Boarding. Carrie also helped us find a groomer in Deer Park that is amazing!

I can not say enough good things about Deer Bark Boarding. I love how Carrie runs her facility. As a dog mom of a reactive and apprehensive dog I have never felt more confident and comfortable leaving my babies for extended vacations. I have used other boarding services around Spokane and been extremely disappointed and concerned when my dogs came back ‘different’ and depressed. I trust when my dogs are in Carrie’s care that they are well cared for and treated like her own pets. Her facilities are extremely well kept, updated and worth every penny for the more ‘private’ boarding experience!

What a great thought out facility! We have a crew! 4 total and 1is blind. Carrie made special accommodations for her! The rest were able to access their own outside area, in and out thourought the day is a big deal! Plus playtime in the big yard! I didn't worry about them one bit. Peace of mind your pets are safe and well cared for is PRICELESS! 10/10 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is the only boarding facility that my husband and I will be taking our dogs! Carrie is absolutely amazing and we love the clean and spacious areas she has for the dogs. We have two Saint Bernards puppies and the care that they received was top notch. We loved the pictures that Carrie sent to us during their stay. We have already made our next reservation!

Carrie took great care of our dog during our visit to northeast Washington. She's great with the dogs and her human clients, and went out of her way to accommodate our last second request. We will not hesitate to use Deer Bark Boarding during our next visit to the area.

I have a special need dogs, he has Epilepsy and is very anxious to be separated from us. Carrie was amazing! I had another kennel lined up that fell through. I contacted Deer Bark the day before I needed boarding services and they were able to accommodate us. Carrie was excellent at communicating issues my dog was having with taking his medication. She made me feel comfortable that my dog was in great hands while I was gone. This was my dog's first experience being boarded and I can't say enough good things about Carrie and Deer Bark. The kennels was pristine and very roomy, really it's more like a doggie hotel. I will definitely being contacting her for any future boarding needs!

I had the best experience leaving my dogs at Deer Bark. The facility is very clean and Carrie made sure to send updates throughout the week with photos! My pups were so happy and calm when I picked them up so I know they were well taken care of. I will definitely be leaving my dogs here in the future!

We have boarded our dogs over many years. Deer Bark by far is the best experience we have had. Our dog has separation anxiety and in the past after boarding he would end up with a bout of gastroenteritis. We stopped boarding him for over a year after our last experience. He was a guest at Deer Bark for 7 nights and he has had no ill effects. We will definitely board our Mo again. The facility is clean, with indoor/outdoor combined kennels. A huge play area for dogs to run. We are thankful to Carrie for the wonderful care she provided Mo in our absence.

Lauri took amazing care of our small farm while we were out of state! She managed nearly 40 head of sheep, a horse, guardian dogs, chickens & cats like a pro. Lauri also kept my tomatoes alive and well for me. 🥰She paid attention to every detail and gave us such peace of mind while being so far away. We would highly recommend their services!

A Whole Lot of Service at a Great Price Excellent and surprisingly comprehensive service. Very professional. Lauri exceeded all of our expectations the first day we met her, and then she went above and beyond that for the week we were away. Honestly, I think she loves animals more than paying customers, and there doesn't seem to be much limit to the care she is willing to provide. She collected our mail, watered our horse, checked on our chickens, and even brought the cats catnip just because. Everything was performed exactly as requested, on time and with a clearly conscientious dedication to her work and the animals. I would absolutely hire TLC Pet Sitters again. Thank you Lauri!

I can't recommend TLC Pet Sitters enough! I was looking for "like-home" care for my two dogs and got exactly that and more. Tom and Lauri are both so kind and they love and care for your animals like their own. Super personalized care - I really couldn't ask for more!

Took our 1 year old yellow lab here for a week and he will NEVER go back. Prior to his boarding with these sitters the owner commented on how sweet he was and he was showed the farm where he was mobbed by all of her small aggressive dogs to the point he had to cower behind his mom. After a week at her farm he came home with two 1”+ cuts around his eye that were still bleeding and that probably should be stitched and he appeared to have lost 10 to 15 lbs. She then has the nerve to say that he is agressive to other dogs. If that were the case, it would be the first time since he is well socialized and has never had issues with other dogs or the baby and toddler that he lives with. To top it all off initially she said it would only be $25 a day, but upon returning she charged $30 a day with no explanation.

TLC Pet Sitters cares for my dog like he is their own. He loves them, too, and why wouldn't he with the pampering he gets there! I have peace leaving my pets in their care, and that's saying a lot!

Our boys had the bast time! They played and worked and played some more. Tom and Lauri made them feel like they were home. I'm would recommend them to all my doggy mommies and daddies. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our furry kids!

I love my 4 dogs, flock of sheep, chickens and cats...but I think TLC loves them (and takes care of them) even better than I do!

The owners are wonderful. My dog loves them almost as much as she loves us and feels right at home there.

I never write negative reviews. In fact, this is the only one I ever remember doing. However, after having such a negative experience with the new owner of Ruffinit, I feel compelled to warn others. I had been a loyal customer of this business for over 10 years and never had any problems with the prior owners who were wonderful to me and my dogs. My fur-babies who are now seniors had been going there since they were puppies. My problems began this last summer when I was told that some of the days in my 10 day (very expensive) pass had expired. I was shocked! I knew about the expiration policy. However, the prior owners made exceptions for people like me who work in the school system and have several vacations throughout the year where we don't need daycare and are able to stay home with our dogs. I had even discussed this with the prior owner and was told I didn't need to worry about it as a long time, loyal customer. I explained this to the new owner and after arguing with me for several minutes, he begrudgingly agreed to honor it. Fast forward to now, he did it again. He refused to honor 50% of the days I had purchased and told me the exception he was making was only for the summer months. I asked why he didn't tell me this when I purchased the 10 day pass and he claimed he did. However, he absolutely did not! Otherwise, I would never have bought a multiple day pass if I had known they would expire. His tone was angry and he was very rude and condescending (telling me I should appreciate the days he honored in the summer). Seriously!? I should appreciate being able to use days I've already paid for? I also need to mention that I've noticed one of my dogs is no longer excited to go to daycare as she used to be with the prior owners. I figured this was due to her getting older but now that I've witnessed the angry reaction of this owner when he is challenged, I will never trust him again with my pets! I work in a public school system and know a lot of people in this community and I will never again recommend this business to anyone!

We take our very active dog here once a week and she comes home tired and happy. The Webcam is great, it is clean, and Isiah is great with all the dogs. Wonderful place.

I take my puppy here nearly every day during the week. He is a very active golden retriever who begs to go to daycare every morning. When we get home he almost immediately passes out and sleeps through the entire night. This allows me to decompress after work instead of needing to take him on a long hour walk before and after work- especially right now during the frigid weather temperatures. Dan is very welcoming and flexible. Definitely highly recommend! Love love having this in Deer Park!

We take our dog, Bailey, here once a month to give her some play time with other dogs and she loves going. Dan is always very welcoming and attentive to Bailey. The doggy cam is always nice to be able to check in on her while she is there. We would highly recommend them for your doggy day care needs.

Clean, not crowded..well managed by trustworthy dog lovers. They even have a live Webcam to watch our furbabies. Indoor playroom has padded floors. I can't say enough good things about this place.

Very unhappy. Owners do not allow pitbulls. This, to me, shows (ignorance) a lack of understanding and knowledge about dog breeds. I will happily take my business elsewhere and I hope others do as well. OK Corral at Deer Lake or Yuppy Puppy in Spokane will now be gaining my business. My pit bull just spent the night in Deer Lake. He loved it and they loved him. Must be more knowledgeable owners.

What’s most important when dropping your dog off somewhere? Safety, Security, Facility and Personnel. Carla is a 5 Star on all 4 of these categories. Usually it’s our dogs that have separation anxiety when dropped off, but when I drop Turkey off, it’s ME that has anxiety. Carla sends me pictures and updates and it helps to ease my worries. When I go to pick Turkey up, she is vibrant, full of life, excited, and it’s clear she's had a good time. Thank You Carla, for providing a safe and secure place for our beloved pets. You are the BEST and your facility is TOP NOTCH!

We will never take our girls anywhere else. What a great welcoming environment that Carla and her husband have created. We have zero hesitation bring our 2 girls (GSD's) here when we go out of town. Kept our 3 dogs here over the 4th of July, and we couldn't have been more relieved to know they were in a safe environment during all the fireworks. Carla sent us photo updates regularly, and when we picked them up, they seemed well rested and happy. Prices are fantastic, but the customer service is what sets this boarding facility above the rest. Highly recommend!

Hot Diggity Dog Boarding is top notch when it comes to caring for your dog. We had never left our dog anywhere or with anyone other than getting fixed. Our dog had the most amazing experience on his first go round. We will definitely be bringing him back next time we need a break/vacation. They are amazing with dogs.

I am very picky when it comes to boarding my 2 dogs! This place is the BEST ever! Carla is a great person who truly loves taking care of the dogs! Literally THE BEST Dog Boarders EVER!!! They went above and beyond to help me out in a stressful situation. I was coming from out of state to a family reunion for the week and found out last minute that we couldn’t have pets at the rental house. They were so helpful and accommodating! I was pretty emotional about having to leave him last minute without planning on it, but it couldn’t have gone better. They put my mind at ease right away and gave me daily updates with pictures. We went to Glacier and Jeanne not only picked up our pups but dropped them off when we got home to make it easier on us. It was amazing. We got regular pictures and updates of our 3 pups while we were gone. The pups were loved and spoiled and exactly what we needed to have while we were gone. It was amazing not taking them to a boarder and our pups being put in a crate or small area to sleep and only let out to play so often. Our dogs were treated as if they were Jeanne and her family's own pups.

I wish I could leave 11 stars. Paradise Pet is one of the best things we ever did for our pup. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and really cares about your dog. We started taking Benji to daycare around 5 months old and it quickly became his favorite place ever. We also boarded him here multiple times. He always came home tired and happy. Staff informed us on any positive or negative behaviors that day. The facility is clean, spacious, with enrichment classes available. Grooming is well done and affordable as well. The frequent photos to Facebook make us so happy, especially when we’re out of town. Our dog is 100+ lbs and has high excitability. I felt extremely confident leaving him with the staff, they have clearly worked with many types of dogs and know what each breed, age, temperament needs. In contrast, we recently moved to a new city and tried a couple doggie daycares here and can’t stop thinking about how lucky we were to have Paradise Pet. We genuinely didn’t know how bad some places out there can be (dog comes home smelling like urine, dehydrated, hadn’t gone potty recently - to name a few) and now that we’ve seen both sides, I can confidently say Paradise Pet is the best of the best. We miss you all!

We love Paradise Pet Resort! When we first were looking for a place to board our dogs, we were able to do a trial run and also take a tour of the facility. It’s very clean, well maintained, and the staff makes sure to have a safe environment. Our dog, Marius, has been coming here since he was a puppy and they’ve always been phenomenal with him! When we added our second dog, Bennett, to the family, we knew we could trust Paradise Pet Resort to love and care for him too. Whenever we go out of town, our dogs stay here and they always have a blast! I also love that we get to see pictures of the doggos each day, they always look so happy during their stay. We can’t imagine leaving our boys anywhere else but here when we travel.

Cassie always comes back happy and tired after staying at Paradise Pet Resort. She loves going and getting the opportunity to play and socialize with other dogs. They always seem to recognize her when she arrives and we’ve never had any problems with her care I’m very particular about who I leave Cassie with and Paradise Pet Resort came highly recommended from many friends.

My dogs absolutely loved there first board last night. It makes me so happy that I found a place I can my dogs when we go on long day trips and on vacations. My dogs had so much fun that when I got them home they just slept for hours.

We needed a place to board our dog while out of town and came across Paradise Pet Resort through a general Google search. After doing some pretty extensive research (we have never used a boarding facility or doggy daycare before), I gave them a call to set up a trial session. After 4 days of daycare, 9 nights of boarding and a few enrichment classes - I can truly say that Paradise Pet Resort is incredible. The staff is so friendly and they love your fur baby like it’s their own. Plus they post pictures all the time on Facebook so it’s fun to see!!! Our dog ended up needing to go to the vet while we were out of town, but they were so thoughtful, communicative, and organized that it made what should have been a stressful situation a breeze. Our dog, Ahsoka, already can’t wait to go back for more fun!

Today was Nala Rose’s trial for full time day-care. I was very nervous at the beginning but was reassured by the amazing front desk crew. Upon picking her up, (with a pass!), I got to see the phenomenal layout they have the dogs in. Well cleaned and maintained, and most of all, great strategies to avoid issues I’ve seen at many other daycares! Nala Rose cant wait to come back tomorrow to see her new friends! First time leaving our dogs with Paradise Pet Resort for a long weekend. They were recommended to me and everything went great. The dogs were happy and tired when they got home. We will definitely be back!

Free Range Boarding is absolutely the best you can do for your dogs! This time my Bull Terrier was literally climbing over my head to get out! The staff is awesome they are always so excited to see the dogs and very thorough with the feeding and medication instructions. They make going on vacation stress free. Pick up is equally emotional as the staff are sad to see them leave! And the dogs are exhausted! They are a gem in Spokane!

I really appreciate the care they provided in getting Murphy settled into their facility. It’s interesting because through this process, I discovered that Murphy has separation anxiety and they took so much care of that. While he didn’t pass the evaluation, I’m grateful that they took time to attempt to make him comfortable, and when he wasn't, called me. Once we work through the triggers for him through training, we’ll try again. Thank you Amy and team!

I have an active ten month old German Shepherd. They worked with him so he could play with the rest of the dogs. I also have a 10 year old shepherd who has had health issues and they have taken good care of him.

We had used Free Range Boarding with our previous pup and they were amazing. Dahlia loved going there and always came home happy. She has since passed and we have adopted an 11 year old rescue with an abusive past. We were worried about leaving Wally since he has such a traumatic past. But wow, the staff was kind, very competent and Wally likes them too. I would highly recommend Free Range Boarding to anyone who wants to feel secure in leaving their pets when they leave town.

I love Free Range Boarding! It was my dog's first boarding experience and he came home happy and content. They really care about the dogs and I loved the positivity from everyone. Update: The daycare now open at Free Range is also EXCELLENT! We thought we loved Yuppy Puppy for daycare but Free Range is even better. Our dog gets much more individual attention and care which is important to us because he's a senior. He's treated like a king with outdoor playtime where he can run, indoor air conditioned time, nap time, and treats. He's so happy here I can feel his groan when we show up to get him! It's more than worth the cost to know he's happy and well cared for. Love the video cams too! Highly recommended. EXCELLENT doggie spa/hotel (boarding facility) in Spokane, and I don’t say that lightly! My husband and I are SO THANKFUL Amy’s Pet Sitting Service opened this facility. We have an only child Golden Retriever, Henry, who’s never been left alone or boarded before. My dad’s 90th birthday meant we had to go out of state together. We weren’t sure what we were going to do. We toured many boarding facilities but didn’t feel comfortable – until we went to Free Range. Amy and Natalie are so professional and so attuned to every detail, we were confident Henry would be in the best possible hands. During the initial evaluation Amy even found a little “pimple” we hadn’t noticed. It turned out to be a mast cell tumor - cancer! So, before we boarded our dog, he had surgery – fortunately successful – but if it hadn’t been for Amy’s intervention, who knows. We’re forever grateful beyond words. This shows how good they are here. Before we left him 4 nights, we did a 1 night trial run. It probably wasn’t necessary but we wanted to try to show him that it was a TEMPORARY stay. He didn’t seem to want to leave the next morning! That was a great sign. We loved having a menu of “extras” we could add. We got a window in his room (he used it), a webcam (we used it), and a nightly tuck in. Being able to watch him in his room or outside playing was so reassuring. We could clearly see he wasn’t anxious - just playing, eating and sleeping as he does at home. We can’t recommend Free Range Boarding enough.

I have been boarding with Free Range for a year now with our older dog. We got a puppy in July and chose to go to another trainer facility, very well known. It was the wrong decision, it wasn’t a good fit, so I reached out to FRB. Natalie has been hands down the best trainer for both myself and our pup. We aren’t done yet, but I will never go to another facility, I will only recommend and take my pets to FRB ever again. They saved our relationship with our puppy. Plus, I never worry when my fur babies are staying there. They always go above and beyond. Thank you for loving all our pups so much!

We had three dogs stay for 10 days. The facility and staff was amazing. It was exceptionally clean, well organized, they allowed lots of play time and let us bring their own beds and toys. The staff was kind, attentive and welcoming. They were also accountable, meaning they stuck to allotted times for checking in and dropping off, so that it didn’t detract from the care of their already boarded pets. Our dogs came home excited to see us, and were not anxious or traumatized from their experience in any way!!! My husband and I would highly recommend FREE RANGE BOARDING facility.

Free Range is really the only place we feel comfortable leaving our dog Luna. She spends full days there and is happy to get there and happy to come home. She always sleeps extra well after a day with her friends. We couldn't be happier. Thanks guys! Roger and Cara

We recently went on vacation and for the first time, our friends/neighbors were not able to care for our dogs. Our older guy, Buddy has never been in a kennel and has very high anxiety. I was so stressed about who was going to take care of them, that I had a difficult time getting excited about our trip. I found a business card for Ponderosa Patty that I got a year ago from our vet, and called her. It was short notice but she was very accommodating and eager to assist. We dropped them off the night before and she and her husband took time to talk with us so we could get to know them, their routine and to be comfortable. We had given Buddy anxiety medication and instructed Patty to give it to him when the shaking started. She constantly sent me pictures of Buddy happy and our other dog Sammy, going for walks, tails wagging. Riding in cars on her husband's lap, laying on them sleeping in their home, etc. Buddy NEVER had to have anxiety meds! They are very calm and loving with the animals and the animals knew it. I am so happy to have found Patty and will happily call her next time we need her. Thank you Patty for giving our dogs so much love and comfort and easing OUR anxieties!

We have taken several trips and have left the care of our dogs, parakeets, and home to Spokane's Best Pet Sitter. She has given all of them great care and we feel very comfortable leaving them in her hands when we are out of town. We have 5 horses, 3 cats, 3 chickens, 2 dogs and a handicapped large tortoise as well as a few bee hives. Patty walks the dogs as well as feeding and watering all the animals. I feel very comfortable with her knowledge and skill as an animal caretaker and my dogs love her! She sends us pictures of all of them too which we love! Thank you Patty!!”

Patty is the best! I’ve never used a pet sitter before and was feeling a little anxious about leaving the fur babies while I was away for longer periods of time. She sent me updates/pictures every day and from our first meeting, I could tell she was reliable and an animal lover. The name is correct, Patty is the BEST pet sitter in Spokane!! My entire family recently went on vacation together so this was the first time I've ever had to use a pet sitter for my cats and looking for someone on the internet can be scary and daunting. I am SO glad I found Patty! She took such great care of our cats and made sure that even our shy one got some love too. I am SO thankful to have found her, it made our vacation so much more enjoyable knowing our fur babies were well taken care of! Will forever recommend her to anyone that needs a pet sitter!

Patty was wonderful with my 2 kitties. She accommodated the special needs of the one that is 16. I loved that she sent me pictures and texts each day to keep me informed. She is very easy to communicate with and very responsive to questions. I think her price is very fair for the services she provides which included giving medication to my old girl. Would give her more stars if I could. I know I can travel now with confidence when Patty is taking care of my kitties.

I never review anything, but the service I got from Pet Pals was beyond any expectation. If you have any pet sitting needs I highly recommend them. My two cats were happy and content when I got home and it was obvious Pam went above and beyond to keep them calm, which is no small feat for my two skittish rescue cats. I cannot stress enough how great the service was and not to mention very affordable, even for a poor graduate student like myself haha

Pam and her family have been sitting for our large dog & 2 cats since I found Pet Pals on Angie’s list in 2015. We take between 8-10 trips a year. Some are just overnight & some are weeklong. She is professional & does little extras like raising & lowering shades, bringing in mail, and moving garbage cans to protect our home. Our beloved animals always seem relaxed & happy when we get home. I have recommended Pet Pals to all my friends.

Great place to leave your dogs! I have never left my dogs in a kennel because of the cost. It's never cheap (which is why I don't do it) but this was the most reasonable in the area. The owner was very nice and took good care of my 2 German Shepherds. Will use again!

They are awsome with your pets and their needs . They are one on one with then they just don't open all the doors and hope all the dogs get along with each other.wich is great for my dog staff is so friendly I found my dogs home away from home and don't have to worry at all she's in great hands.

My dogs are always welcome here and well taken care of. I like that my dogs can't play with other dogs. They get their own outside time which is important for my young dog. She is very picky about her animal friends, all other places I found had group play. This kennel is set up for just one kennel out at a time. Love them and will not go anywhere else.

Charli was well taken care of. I appreciate Jessica and the extra TLC she gives the pets personally. I had just been in a car accident when I went to pick up my kitty. The owners of Marcinda Kennels, kindly duct taped my car together so that I could drive it home. While I was gone I communicated with them to see how Charlie was doing. I got a reply. emailed right away. I will always take my kitty there.

We housed my Mom’s cat Charli at Marcinda for 12 days. We retrieved her last night happy and healthy. They took care to send Mom videos of her getting pets and treats, and all of the individuals I met there are kind and clearly love animals. Charli’s enclosure was a generous size and accommodated her bed, scratching post, blankie and litterbox with ease. It looks like they’re on an old farmstead, so nothing fancy, but the cats have a good situation there for sure. My biggest customer service praise for them is that we had to roust the owner out during the UW/Michigan championship game and they were totally sweet about it. The price is extremely affordable and we’d definitely house our own cat there.

They are concerned about safety of your fur babies. The dog runs are clean. Outside area to run and dig if they are a digger. The lambs are so cute and nothing like fresh eggs from the farm. Very good hearted people. Prices should be 2x-3x more for the going rate of boarding your babies. Be blessed, knowing your babies are well taken care of.

Excellent place. It doesn't have looks, but it makes up that by having an excellent staff. Still run by the original owners who care and experience over being shiny and fancy. Only down side is they recently had to raise their prices, but that is no fault of theirs.
