Carla was very self-sufficient and took good care of the house while we were away. Sadly for me and luckily for Carla, she wasn't required to do all that was required for a sick cat as Cassius had passed away just before her stay. My sourdough starter is still alive and the garden is in decent shape -- I know it is hard to eat/pick that many raspberries and beans! I'm pleased the chalet was in good hands while we were away. Ellen and Wies are a terrific couple that really care tremendously about the pets and house they are sitting at. Their love and attention were very obvious from the first moment they arrived. Our pets were extreemly well taken care of and even enjoyed a trip to the beach! We appreciate all that Ellen and Wies did for us and especially the home cooked meal on our return after a delayed flight and a super tasty Lemon Cake made from scratch, YUMMY!! Andres was a fantastic sitter. He took excellent care of my 3 cats including one that requires daily pills. He was patient with my particularly shy cat and kept me updated daily on how they were progressing. He also treated my apartment with respect, cleaning up after some accidents from my anxious cat, and leaving the apartment incredibly clean and tidy. I would absolutely have him again as a sitter and would definitely recommend to anyone. He is a photographer and even printed out some pictures of my cats and left them on the fridge. A really great sitter and person!

Our cats adored Anne Frédérique. Even our Wis, who normally doesn't like to be touched, stayed in the arms of Anne. What a surprise ! We regret a lot that Anne and Luc had to return at home earlier for family reasons because we were so happy to have them in our house. We trusted them completely. Our house was very clean at our return . The cats were very healthy and behaved very normal again.

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Jeremy and Brooke were fantastic! We have a senior dog and a over hyper pittie. They gave Daisy her meds and had lengthy walks with Fin to burn off some of his energy. Brooke sent me regular texts to show me precious pictures of the pups by the Christmas tree, which warmed my ❤️. The house looked great when we returned.
