Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!

Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.

Once again, having AnnaMarie take care of our pups was absolutely the right choice!! Her frequent updates, care of our house and fur babies was stellar! Although the dogs were thrilled to see us when we returned, as we chatted with Annemarie, we could see them continuing to go to her for affection and cuddles. It was so sweet to watch our one-year-old lick her ear and Annamarie just giggled and happily tolerated it. What a great sport😎. After trying other kennels in the area, we very happily have been using the Kennels at Winterpock since shortly after they opened. Although our dog is not the best behaved, she is very content with the clean environment here and the expert care and attention showered upon her from the moment of arrival. The family-owned scenario provides great care and flexibility to meet your travel plans and schedule as best they can. Highly recommend this facility to any dog-lover!
I love this place and so do my dogs. I am new to Chesterfield and was very worried about where to leave my dogs when my husband and needed to fly home for a week. I wanted them safe and taken care of. We called Kennels at Winterpock, went down and took a tour of the facility. The kennels were clean, and not just cleaned on our account, the dogs can sleep inside, they have their own beds they have access to the outside and play time, we could board them together. We were also concerned because one of our dogs does not get along with other dogs and we were assured that they DO NOT let the dogs interact. We have used them since and will continue to use them. The staff own the facility and they treated our dogs like they belonged to their family. Having this peace of mind when we travel is great. I highly recommend this facility.

We have lived in Chesterfield for 19 years. It has taken us 18 years to find the perfect Kennel for Brodie. We are so happy that we finally found the perfect "home away from home" for him. He is always happy to arrive! Shannon is wonderful to work with when we need to schedule dates for boarding.
We have been coming to the Kennels at Winterpock for over 2 years. Our rescue dog is timid and frightened of men- however, she immediately sensed the kindness and care of the owners, and is excited and happy when she is dropped off, and equally so, when she is picked up! We highly recommend this kennel for their attention to detail and loving care!
This kennel is hands down the cleanest and most caring. The dogs are happy. They have their own dog runs. Heated and airconditioned. After my dog got Kennel Cough at one of the larger kennels with no runs, I switched to Kennels at Winterpock. The family who owns it runs it. My dog gets so excited when she goes there. She loves the family, kind of like going to Grandma and Grandpa's house.
If we could give 10 stars, we would. We have been taking Sammie here for years. He loves the owners and they love him back. They obviously care a lot. Immaculately clean facility. Very flexible drop-off and pick-up hours. You and your pet will be more than happy with everything at this kennel. No need to look anywhere else. Your search is over.
I randomly came across this kennel on the internet a few years ago and I absolutely love them. My dog Barkley loves to go here, seriously. Prior to this kennel, he would always come home sick or at a minimum with a hoarse voice from barking constantly while we were away. He always seems very happy when we pick him up at Winterpock.
