I didn’t have to worry for a moment that my cat Anya was feeling lonely because I could tell she warmed up right away, even though she’s usually quite shy! Misti was wonderful! She was able to come by before I left town to meet my dog, Grace, which I really appreciated. She sent daily pics or videos and made sure that Grace got tons of snuggle time, which is a major requirement to keep my dog happy :) Cats and skateboards are evil enemies to Grace and it sounds like Misti experienced both and handled it flawlessly! Misti was a great communicator, left everything tidy for me when I got home and Grace was super mellow and relaxed, which tells me she got all the care she needed while I was gone. I highly recommend Misti - I'll definitely be asking her to sit again!

Lilly and Thomas stayed at our house and cared for our dogs for a month. I think they took the dogs to the beach nearly every day. Seeing pictures of our dogs on the beach made our time away from them feel so much better. Our house was immaculate when we returned, and we felt so fortunate to have such kind and loving people step in for us in our absence. Anyone would be super lucky to have them in their home.

Kelly and Pat arrived the evening before I left on my trip so we were able to have a nice visit and get to know each other a bit. They asked many questions about the dogs and the house so that they would feel comfortable with the pet sit. Piper and Zuria were very comfortable with them. They sent pictures from dog walks, kept me informed and promptly notified me when there was one simple issue that they handled very well. I’m not able to speak to the condition of the house on my return because a second sitter came right after Kelly and Pat and before I came home. They spent time with the new sitter so that she would know how to take care of the dogs and negotiated the transfer time. Kelly and Pat are a lovely couple and very interesting to talk with. I feel lucky that they were able to take care of Piper and Zuria and would love to have them back again.

Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. Toby and we were SO lucky to have Tom be our home and pet sitter for our Thanksgiving Holiday trip! From the very beginning Tom was responsive and communicative. He was even able to arrange a "meet and greet" with us and Toby before beginning his stay. While here Tom took great care of our home, and, most importantly, provided wonderful care of Toby! When we got home everything was in perfect order and we could tell that even though Toby was happy to see us he was going to miss Tom. I would be thrilled if we could have Tom as our zeewoi again. 5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. When we started to plan a trip to Italy, I couldn’t get too excited until I knew who would watch our dogs. Our regular sitter could only cover the first several nights, so I had to find someone to cover the rest of the trip. I looked for hours to find someone who meets our high standards and could stay at our home, especially since we would be an ocean away. Once we did a meet and greet with Gabby I knew she would be perfect. Our dogs loved her and she sent us tons of photos, videos and updates. There is no doubt these pups had constant love and attention. I never had to worry about them which allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation. When we came home they were calm and healthy. I would not be able to say that if we left them at a kennel. We feel like we made a new friend and am so happy to know I can trust her with our kids. I don't even know where to begin. Let's just say I have two high maintenance dogs, one being elderly and one being a Jack Russell (enough said on that one!) I always struggle to relax when I am away, because the older dog has separation anxiety, and at nearly fifteen years old, I know her days are numbered. It is hard for me to have peace of mind not being able to be the main caretaker of her. Then I found Gabby. I have never had a vacation where I was able to relax and not be worried about how everything was going at home. Gabby went above and beyond, even with the crazy medication and supplement schedule I have the senior gal on, and the demanding nature of a high drive breed. She sent updates and pictures every single day. I did not have to wonder what was happening or how everything was going. I honestly could write pages about how amazing our experience with Gabby was, but let's just say this.. BOOK HER NOW. I'm already looking for dates for vacation next year so I can be sure to have her in advance. Could not have asked for anything more from her at all. If I could give an infinite amount of stars, I would!!
I have 2 tiny dogs that have super sensitive stomachs and eat 4 times a day. I had to travel out of state for almost a week and was extremely preoccupied about leaving my 2 little ones. I found Melrose pet resort, and let me tell you that Gabby is the most amazing, comprehensive, and pet lover dog sitter you could found. She took care of my babies like they were hers, she went above and beyond to accommodate them so they could be separated from bigger dogs, as I asked, they could have their meals at their regular schedule and she also kept updating me constantly with videos and pictures of my little ones. They had such a great time with her, got to make a few little friends that were staying at her place, and even participated in a Christmas photoshoot!. She gave me piece of mind while on my trip, and I definitely will be using her services next time I travel.
I cannot recommend Gabby and Melrose Pet Resort enough! As a bulldog owner I’m always looking for the best care possible since our boy tends to need a little extra attention, and we absolutely found it with Gabby. She followed our directions to a “T”, and went above and beyond. She also sent us videos and updates throughout our vacation, putting my mind at ease about how our boy was doing. Gabby’s attention to detail is on another level. She did an amazing job with our dog, Remi. He is a creature of habit, and his transition from us being out of town to Gabby staying with him and taking care of his routine was seamless. She thinks of everything to ease your mind of what is going on. Her love for animals is apparent, and I appreciate that so much. Remi has specific medications that have to be taken, and I was not worried about Gabby covering everything perfectly. I cannot rave about how great Gabby and Kris were with my dog! Being a sitter myself I know I can trust them with my anxious little boy going forward. I have never left my dog with anyone but my family before and him being an older and anxious dog I was not sure how he’d do. But almost immediately Gabby and Kris made him feel so comfortable and right at home. He received all the attention and affection he needed and I also received all the updates and pictures I needed to know he was doing great. Talk about an AMAZING dog sitter and person, Melrose Pet Resort is a far better pet sitter that I ever came across. I came from out of state, and we were recommended to Melrose Pet Resort while we look for a home. Contacted her and immediately got a quick response. I never in my life have as much interaction with her as other dog sitters in the past. I have a Deaf dog and one with diet needs... Gabby constantly send photo's and video's of there activities, and I could see how happy my fur babies were. She is very personal and active with my pets and I am excited to have her again and as well as Chico and Bella. Hands-down, the best pet sitter I've ever had the honor to work with. It was like leaving the dogs with a family friend. If I even had the slightest worry about them or their care, it vanished in the rain of delightful photos and videos and the constant updates about breakfast, dinner, lizard hunts and games of Ball. It is just possible that my dogs had a better time than I did while I was on vacation. They stayed in their very own room, in crates for everyone's safety, but were out and about quite a lot of the time (certainly WAY more than they would be in a kennel or daycare) and they were treated like family. They got to "help" make dinner and cuddle on the sofa and watch TV. Obi even got to chase MANY BALLS AT THE SAME TIME. Heaven! Obi and Ursa can't wait to stay with Aunt Gabby again!
We recently put our baby Jasmine here after searching for a boarding facility for weeks. And I can't say how happy we are that we decided to choose Melrose Pet Center opposed to one of those facilities. Not only did she get personalized care, she got love and affection the entire time. We know so because Gabby sent us updates daily; mornings, afternoons when she could, and night. She sent Pictures and videos and Jasmine looked like she was having the time of her life. I also loved the cute bandanas she had while we got the pictures. We were even lucky enough to get a pic of Jas with Santa in their home (Thanks Kris!! Lol). Jasmine also enjoyed playing with her dogs, tiring them out all day! If we could give more than 5 stars, we absolutely would! Thank you again for treating our pup like she was one of your own!

The staff was kind and clearly loves and cares for the animals so well! Communication was fast and clear. In the past, we’ve felt uneasy leaving our dog at home, but with Sugar Run, we knew our girl was in good hands! We were thankful for Vicki giving our girl some extra TLC while we were gone, too! Highly recommend this place and the care they offer the animals!
We have used Sugar Run for years for our dogs. We know our dogs are well cared for while we are gone. I love seeing the updates of our pups on their Facebook page while we are away. My girl Mable is quite the sensitive and picky pup, and a home body for sure. Her tail starts wagging when she sees the owner Ray, and goes to him. She comes back happy and taken care of. I also like you can call last minute and he always takes her. Very reasonable prices too.
The costumer service is outstanding and the care for your Dog is comforting. Ray and his family put great care and love into the kennel. If I could rate higher than five it would be a ten.
They took very good care of my cats over the weekend. They were very friendly and he made me feel very comfortable leaving them. To top off this great experience they have the best prices around. I highly recommend them.

They have a great price for boarding but they don't let your dogs go out. Otherwise they are amazing and very friendly.

Do not ever bring your dog here! I was here 6 years ago, my dog stayed over night and came home with his face bruised.. she said it was because he ran into a door but that would only hurt his nose.. I honestly believe someone struck in the face bc he wouldn't stop barking.. her fault for living in the same house as the daycare.. please please I cried for days bc he was hurt

Took her to the vet asap, and she had vomiting and diarrhea. The owner tried to say she came there sick, which was a total lie. We never took them back.
Always leave our dog, Rose, here when we travel. So good with her.

2 stars cause it seems like a great place. But we had all 3 of our dogs there over memorial weekend. All 3 came back itching and scratching. So I took a look at them. All 3 are infested with fleas. Never again will we be going back there

My dog has gone here several times for grooming. Few few times were good. But this last time. My dog has been limping for 4 days. I can't see anything g wrong but I think his nails were trimmed too close. Not sure if it's his nails or not. But Doogie lodge will not answer emails sent. Will know more tomorrow when I take him to the vet.
Admiral Peary doggie lodge is a wonderful kennel. We have taken our two Jack Russell terriers there on several occasions. The staff there is very caring and take great care of our dogs. I would strongly recommend them for your fur babies. Also, their prices are very reasonable.
We have two golden retrievers who suffer from separation anxiety, so leaving them for a few days is very hard for us. From past experience when we would pick up our beloved pups from their prior kennels, our dogs always seemed traumatized for weeks after the fact. We decided to give this kennel a try and we are so happy we did! Not only were the prices better than anywhere around, I think they had much better care than anywhere else we have tried. This place has 24/7 supervision for their boarding and that put us more at ease. Not only were the staff incredibly kind, but I had called the day before pickup to see if my dogs could be groomed before we arrived to get them. Even with such short notice they were able to accommodate our request. Our pups came out looking happy and polished! And the best part - they weren’t traumatized from their stay! We don’t board often, but we’ve decided that when we do we will be forever using this place.
We are newer customers here and have used their services for both lodging and grooming our dog. The grooming went flawlessly and we were very happy with his haircut. This business has two locations and we were told our dog would be boarded at the same building as his grooming. When my wife went to drop him off for boarding they told her she was at the wrong place and he would have to go to the other location, where he was not groomed. Then there was some confusion regarding his shot records, as he had never been at that location. It delayed my wife's trip by about 45 minutes. We did get it sorted out and it was only a minor inconvenience, but it was worth noting. On a positive note, they took great care of our dog while we were away. We're planning on using both of their services again in the future. Grooming prices are very reasonable.
They took really good care of our two babies. Our dogs where in good hands. Our dogs seemed at ease when we dropped them off and when we picked them up. They were very happy.

Wonderful experience with my cocker spaniel. Maggie was a rescue from a puppy mill in Kentucky. She had little positive interactions with people. The staff was very understanding and compassionate with her. I was extremely happy with her grooming and would highly recommend them. was groom
Excellent! This was our first experience with the Doggie Lodge and we couldn't be happier! We have a great pyranese mix. He was bathed, had his nails trimmed and his ears cleaned and he smells fabulous. The staff were very kind, friendly, and treated our pup well. We were given a worksheet upon pick-up that detailed his experience from his behavior to recommendations for upkeep. This is by far the best grooming experience we've ever had. We will be back!!

Skipper loves Sheila and the staff-he always looks so nice (and he knows it!) when he gets groomed! I recommend them-they are great!
