Quiet, reliable and responsible cat (and small dog) lady
This was our first time using a Trusted Sitter, and I'm so grateful Elena chose to stay with our precious pup. He's a senior dog that requires a little extra attention, and Elena was so kind and caring with him. From our very first zoom call to get to know one another, I knew Elena would be a great fit. She was very organized, told us what she needed to know, and was very flexible when our dates changed a bit. Elena sent several pictures of Beamer every day. My kids eagerly awaited to see what their brother was up to while we were away. He looked so happy in all of his pictures. She took him for walks and gave him plenty of cuddle time. Elena also took such great care of our home. We arrived back to a spotless house! Our experience with Elena was more than I could have hoped for using Trusted Sitter. It was like having an old friend stay over. I highly recommend Elena, and hope she will be available to stay the next time we go on vacation!

We loved having Duha sit for us. Communication was excellent and she needed little guidance after the initial walk-through. Both cats took to her immediately and really missed her when we returned. Duha even navigated some contract work outside the house when workers that we had been waiting on showed up unexpectedly. All in all, we had a great experience and would love to have Duha back any time.

Amara is so friendly to humans and dogs alike. It is clear she loves hanging with dogs and knows how to take care of them. She did a great job with my large dog for a week, sent regular updates and communicated consistently. She also treated the house well and left the place very clean. Abby and Matt were so easy to work with and we immediately felt comfortable with them in our home and with our beloved fur babies. They were communicative and clear leading up to the visit. They stopped by our place the evening before the sit started to meet our pets and get the lay of the land. During the visit, they sent just the right amount of updates and photos to give us peace of mind. We returned to a clean home and happy pets and plants. Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. If you’re lucky enough to find Anna as your pet sitter you will have peace of mind and well cared for pets whilst you are away and a clean and tidy home on your return. Anna is thoughtful and kind, she arrived the evening before the sit which allowed for some time to hear about her interesting travels and work, kept me updated with fabulous photos and details of the friendship she was making with the cats and even took the trouble to fix a sticky catch on the cat flap. Thomas did an amazing job! We were very pleased with how well he was able to care for our 3 active Boston terriers. He was able to handle all 3 on a walk and feed them their special meal everyday. He even ventured out and took them to the beach which is no easy task for 3 excited dogs. Thomas did a great job communicating before and during the stay. We came home to a clean house with bedding washed. We had a handful of other pet sitters through this website and Thomas easily rates at the top of our list. Neil and Anne have just sat for us for a second time, for a week. They are outstanding sitters in every way. Always punctual with communication and arrival. They both have responsible jobs and this is evident as they are both very organised. They care very much about the animals they look after. We were regularly sent updates, pictures and video clips of them, which is great to see when you are away. When we came home we were greeted by happy pets and an immaculately tidy house. We cannot recommend Neil and Anne enough. As far as we are concerned they are perfect housesitters! …...Hopefully they will come back and sit again soon!
