Solo nomadic homebody seeking new spaces and animals to love!
Anna was really friendly and immediately formed a strong bond with Rosie (my dog). Rosie usually takes 5-10 minutes to really warm up to someone but within seconds she got the zoomies and then when Anna sat on the ground to greet her properly Rosie ran straight to her and was immediately comfortable. This straight away put my mind at ease and knew Rosie and my two cats were im good hands. Anna checked with me what level of contact I wanted and sent me daily updates with videos/photos. I had some confusion with the app but Anna was extremely patient and supportive with this. The house was clean and the bed stripped when I returned home. I would definitely recommend Anna for future sits!

A patient person who loves pets and travelling.
Janice was a wonderful friend and companion to Samba. We immediately appreciated her positivity and caring attitude . She is a most efficient communicator and while we were away she kept us updated with frequent reports and photos. Samba was living her best life while Janice was here and would love to have her back some day.

Valerie and David
Five stars don't seem enough to describe the superb experience with David and Valerie. They were truly excellent in every way. House was spotless, Bart was a very happy dog and we couldn't be happier.

Responsible & respectful, fun loving couple, who love pets, plants and adventure
Sean & Eva were the unexpected answer to our housesitting search! We are so grateful they agreed to our sit. They were relaxed, organized, asked all the right questions & easy to communicate and plan with. We found them to be friendly with quick responses. We appreciated the updates of our pets (dog & salt-water aquarium) and we know Goose will be counting down the years until he gets to see them again. Our home was impeccably clean upon our return, the lawn was mowed, and flowers tended too, PLUS they left us with a DELICIOUS pot of chili and homemade bread to help us transition back to life in our home! We are so grateful they chose us for a sit as our home and pets (and souls) were well taken care of. Please make sure you respond to Sean and Eva immediately so you can secure them for your sits!!

Enthusiastic and experienced pet sitter bringing joy and care to your pets.
Anna came for the weekend with her son and looked after Hobie and Gerry. She was very communicative before arrival which was great as I was actually away so she met my sister instead. Over the weekend Anna sent lots of updates and pictures so I knew that the dogs were being well cared for. I came back to a spotless house and she had watered all my plants. I will definitely have Anna back for another sit and would recommend her and her family to anyone.

Mother & Daughter perfect house and pet sitter combo
Sara Jane and Jessica took great care of Wiley. He was recovering from a paw injury so he required a bit of extra instructions and attention in the finals stages of healing which they took care of. The house was clean and tidy upon my return.

Friendly, trustworthy and reliable couple
Patrick and Mariah were absolutely lovely. They were communicative, attentive, and extremely good to both our dog and our home. They gave us peace of mind as we travelled for six weeks. When we came home, our house was spotless and our sweet dog was healthy and happy. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Mature, professional, travelling couple with big hearts for little furballs!
Jonathan and Nahraine are the Rolls Royce of house sitters. Mao, our cat who can be quite discerning, seemed to adopt them instantly and got so much attention in the two weeks they stayed that he now looks put out if I leave the room for more than 5 minutes. They also took great care of our guinea pig and sent regular updates of how it was all going which was very reassuring for us. The house was left in immaculate condition for which we were incredibly grateful for. We could not recommend them highly enough and they are both such lovely people that we will definitely be trying to book them again in the future.
I felt that my dogs were in good hands with Billy & Cherice - both pups seemed happy and well cared for when I returned from my 3-week trip. My home was also clean and tidy. This was my first experience using an unknown sitter and I felt nervous to leave my dogs for so long while traveling abroad. If they were to stay again I would request more regular photo updates, but otherwise was very happy with Billy and Cherice's pet and home care.
Tina was a fantastic house/pet sitter for my cat Trixie - I can’t recommend her enough! She was very communicative and also self sufficient and I felt completely at peace with Trixie in her care. She took it upon herself to water my plants and also trimmed Trixie’s nails, which I always struggle with! She provided perfect company for Trixie, playing with her, brushing her, loving her and giving her daily medicine. She also left my apartment in perfect condition. I would gladly have Tina pet sit again. A 10/10 experience.
I had the pleasure of having Tracey and her two children as house sitters, and I can't praise them enough for the incredible job they did. From the moment they stepped into our home, it was evident that they were dedicated, caring, and attentive to every detail. First and foremost, Tracey's approach to caring for our house and our beloved pets was nothing short of excellent. She has an innate ability to connect with animals, and it was clear from the daily updates and photos that our pets were happy and thoroughly pampered. The house was kept in immaculate condition, and they treated it with the utmost respect as if it was their own. Moreover, Tracey demonstrated remarkable responsibility and initiative when our AC system unexpectedly broke down. Without hesitation, she arranged for an HVAC company to come and fix the issue, taking time from her day to ensure our home was taken care of. Her willingness to front the repair costs until I could reimburse her was an act of kindness and trust that you rarely see. Tracey and her children's thoughtfulness and thoroughness provided me with peace of mind during my time away, which is priceless. I returned to a home that was just as I left it, if not better. Their stay was characterized by an extraordinary level of care and I was particularly impressed by how they left the house in perfect condition, with happy pets to welcome me back. I wholeheartedly recommend Tracey to any future hosts. Her reliability, compassion, and the ability to handle unexpected situations with grace are commendable. I would welcome Tracey and her children back to house sit in a heartbeat – they are exactly the kind of house sitters that one hopes for on this site! Thank you, Tracey, for everything. You and your children are welcome back anytime!
Early in 2023 I went searching for a sitter to sit with our Lizzie for a month. I found Lori during my search and I am so happy I did. Lori’s reviews are all five star and I can fully attest as to why. Lori was so friendly and kind and I could tell from the moment she met Lizzie that she would take great care of her. I received daily pictures of her and Lizzie snuggling and I couldn’t have been happier knowing my girl was receiving a lot of love. Lori left our home in wonderful shape (probably better than I left it for her). She took great care and was very conscientious of all my plants. We even came home after a very long day of travel to some wonderful chicken soup. Lori will take wonderful care of your home and your precious pet. Do not hesitate to contact her for your pet sitting needs. I already have her booked for 10/2024 so don’t try and get her then!!!😁
Angelica was a wonderful pet sitter for our dog Rosie! She was easy to communicate with before and during the sit (very responsive), and made time to do a walk through of our house/intro to Rosie prior to the sit. She was extremely reliable throughout the process, and left our house really neat. Rosie was happy when we got home! We'd be happy to have Angelica sit for us again and would recommend her to anyone!
Ce was an amazing house sitter for our best bud Atlas. She not only took amazing care of our needy pup, she took great care of the home as well. I honestly think she left it cleaner than I left it for her! We certainly hope she is around the next time our best friend needs a friend. If you're looking for a responsible caregiver for your pets and home - look no further!
Jacob sat for us during our holiday in March. We do not have any pets but we do have garden plants etc to look after. Jacob did a fantastic job of looking after the young plants that had arrived by post the day before we went away. He sent us regular updates and photos of how the plants were doing. We came home to a very clean and tidy house and thriving plants. Jacob did a great job and we have no hesitation in recommending him. If he comes back to the Uk and we require a sitter we will contact him first. Well done Jacob.
Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.
What an amazing couple we had as pet sitters for our two dogs! You can truly feel their love for animals. Nancy sent pictures a couple of times letting us know that they were having fun also with our Cody and Carson! Our home was perfect when we got home. They even left a beautiful potted flower and card on our island in our kitchen. We highly recommend this couple! Jim & Wanda
Jerry and Suzanne were absolutely ideal sitters for our home and pets. We spoke with them ahead of their visit and could tell that they are genuine pet and travel lovers. Over their stay we got to see even more that they are wonderfully friendly, kind, and responsible - plus they kept us laughing with their updates and descriptions of our pets' antics while we were away. Our pets and plants were well loved and our house was spotless upon our return home, and they were even kind enough to leave a few goodies in the fridge. Our dog in particular seemed to miss them and their long walks around the neighborhood. Thank you Jerry and Suzanne! We wish you well in your travels!

Excellent service, very reasonable price. Would highly recommend. Thank you!
Very happy with the service. Great to have somewhere to leave a small pet. John
Excellent service! My partner and I were a little bit nervous about going away without our dogs for the first time but we received regular updates and photos of our babies settling in and making friends with the other dogs there. Our dogs came home happy and healthy. Overall very well run and we could tell our dogs were well cared for. We will definitely be returning in the future so we can rest assured that our dogs are safe and happy while we are away.
Miki kept our gsd for 3 weeks and I was so happy with the service. I was consistently kept up to date and reassured he was doing the best. She integrated him with the other dogs and he responded so well I was shocked when photos came through of him playing with the others as he would normally be very nervous around other dogs! Clearly she is very calm and experienced with dogs and especially gsds! Kobe came home in great spirits, good weight etc and I could tell he was well looked after. Would definitely recommend and will be using again. Thank you miki x
Couldnt rate Miki highly enough! My dog had the best time there while I was on holiday he didn’t want to leave! Such a lovely person and amazing space for the dogs to run around
Can't praise Miki and her lovely family enough. She has looked after all four of my dogs all at once! For several years and they are happy wee bunnies when we come home which makes our holiday even more relaxed knowing they're well cared for. Thank you guys very much xx
Overall, a bad experience. We had two dogs staying for 3 nights. Although the business claims that they only have 3 households' dogs max staying at one time they fail to mention they also have 10-15 dogs in doggy day care at same time. They were also fostering 3 pups at the time and have 3-4 dogs of their own. The house gave off a sense of choas and we did not see how our dogs were going to get any sense of individualized care. We had no choice but to leave them as ferry was booked same day as drop off. In addition, the owner wasn't there for drop off and had left her teenage daughter in charge. We weren't asked any info about their normal feeding habits, routines, toilet times etc. and I found a piece of glass on living room floor which no one had seemed to notice. If all this weren't bad enough both dogs got bad stomach bug during their stay. Vomiting and diarrhea. Off food for days. Both had to go to vet for medication and fluids costing £200. The place may be victim of own success as clearly has had good reviews in past, but now far too many dogs are present at one time meaning each dog does not get individualized care it needs. There are also clearly hygiene issues as with so many animals in cramped space diseases etc pass around so easily. We will not be back. **** Update based on owners response**** Ironic that someone concerned with 'false claims' makes their own. Our dog was not on a 'vegan diet' but a hypoallergenic diet as recommended by our vet due to repeated ear infections. We have to slowly introduce animal proteins one at a time to see if they cause reaction, and if so, put her on plant based wet food to flush the proteins before trying another (as plant based proteins don't cause reaction). We had tried fish before she was at the hotel and it caused a reaction, so she was on plant based wet food and hypoallergenic dry food during that time. All this was of course explained at drop off, but as the owner wasn't there it's not surprising she has made a number of false assumptions. If she had the conscientiousness to be present when clients drop off dogs to make sure all relevant info was understood fully then this wouldn't happen. Also strange that our dog and sister in law's dog who was staying at same time both got sick literally the next day after bringing them home but no other dog did. Must just be an unexplained coincidence.
Take my dogs here regularly, for day care and for overnight periods whilst we're away. Michaela is experienced with dogs and I feel very comfortable leaving my dogs with her. As a dog behavioural trainer, I am fussy about leaving my dogs but this is a fab establishment - home away from home. Would give more than 5* if I could! Cannot recommend her more highly - however I will say that one of my dogs is picky about people and who he will be left with (away from his hoomans) and he always settles well with Michaela, he even looks put for her locally if he sees her car! I trust that they are in good hands whenever I leave my dogs with her, and I have every confidence in her.
First time my furry babies have stayed anywhere so I was a bit nervous probably more so than foxy and casper. I scanned the internet trying to find a home from as my two aren’t use to staying anywhere apart from my home, Miki’s was perfect as they were aloud stay indoors and still have that family life going on around them. We had a meet and greet few days before also. Miki’s sent me photos and updates on them and by the looks of things they were having the best time. Foxy kept jumping into the pool even first thing in the morning, poor miki’s floors. They are booked in again in April for 9 days but I think I’ll try some days here and there for them to get use to going. Thank you again Miki.
Absolutely fantastic service! I was very concerned about leaving my dog. Original sitter pulled out at the very last minute before our holiday. In comes Miki’s Dog Hotel to save the day! Absolutely lovely people! Picked up Mammoth (my dog) and brought him out, sent pictures and videos every day and kept me completely in the loop! To top it off they dropped him home too! And all for an amazing price. Mammoth got home very clearly exhausted, plenty of exercise and stimulation! I am so grateful! If you are considering using Miki’s service get off the fence!
Our two dogs, Rollo and Brina, stay with Miki every time we go away - whether it's a day trip and we can't take the dogs or if we're away for a longer period of time - I feel that my dogs are safe, cared for and having a good time! As a behavioural trainer it's very important to me that my dogs feel comfortable and are with someone who can handle the unpredictable nature of having multiple dogs together - Miki is very capable and my dogs gave always been safe in her care. Rollo and Brina adore Miki and her family, which is something you don't always get, especially in a kennel environment. Miki has a great system in place for dogs to be happy, safe and relaxed - plenty of room for zoomies and playtime too! 100% recommend. We last left our two dogs with Miki in May 2023 for 5 days/ nights - we received a couple if photos to let us know the dogs had settled in and were making friends; giving us peace of mind as we were away. Honestly, cannot recommend enough!
I booked my boy Bailey to stay for two nights with Miki's Home Doggy Day Care and Hotel as I had a wedding to go to and would be away for 3 days. When I arrived with Bailey we received a very warm and happy welcome and instantly I was put at ease about leaving Bailey as I seen how happy the other dogs in their care were. Michaela was so friendly and Bailey took to her instantly so that was a major sign that he was happy and he would be in good hands. I was sent a picture and updates with how he was settling in which was great he was up looking cuddles in no time and playing with the other dogs. Miki's was even generous enough to deliver Bailey home for me all the way from Dromore to Craigavon with very short notice for a very small fee such amazing people. Bailey came home happy and knackered which was great to see he had a ball and was well cared for. He will definitely be back again and is even booked in for 17 nights for when we go on holidays to florida I'm so happy to have found this doggy hotel so professional thank you for taking care if my baby.
My wee kiki french bully loves staying here the staff are brilliant so kind to all the dogs .. fantastic place to leave your pet .
Our pup goes every week for a couple of days and has boarded before. She's always excited to go and well looked after when there, and she comes home tired from playing all day which is a bonus! Staff are all lovely
Brilliant place lots of care and attention to each dog that attends. My dog has been attending since 2019 and doesn’t want to come home at the end of the day. Highly recommend to anyone.
My dog Milo has been going to Dogzone since 2020 for day care and boarding. The team and so friendly and flexible. I highly recommend Dogzone to everyone !
Amazing staff, very friendly and care about the dogs they are looking after
Have used everytime we've gone away for last number of years, great place. Helen and Rick are lovely and great with the dogs. Our dogs love it.
We have always been very particular about who looks after our Dogs. So I would highly recommend Dog Zone. They are Professional, Courteous and nothing is ever a problem. We have been using their services for years now & intend to do so for many years to come.
Owners don't have any decency to get back in touch. Text messages, completely ignored, phone calls, no answer, rung several times. I and my daughter rung. It's not a good way to conduct a business.
Very good, very friendly, treat the dogs very well as if they were their own. Highly motivated and switched owners. Great and fair prices. Highly recommended business. 5*
My dog samson go here and is so happy and spoiled. Couldn't ask for better staff looking after him. All so friendly. The best.
Honestly these people know what they are doing when it comes to animals, clean friendly and very very nice people! My three cats had a great time..on pickup time they ran over happy and relaxed..my older cat was on the windsill looking very content like she would at home..I even learnt a few new things with cats on pickup lol! Thank you for looking after Luna,Darcy and Tabatha so well you have a new customer! XO
We had some difficulties with our dog's anxiety and went to Chris for advice and training. Best money we have spent in a long time ; dog owning has become fun again. I can't recommend highly enough. We have also used the kennels - again, I can't recommend highly enough. Great care is taken.
With a new puppy and her never having been to kennels you can imagine I was quite nervous, But Chris and his team put my mind to rest straight away, I had plenty of contact during her "Molly's" stay and she seemed to be having the life of riley.. infact I think she wanted to stay for another few days.. wouldn't hesitate to use Brookvale again.. and know I will. Thank you again Chris. I know you will love other peoples pets almost as much as the owners do.
Brookvale's own brand of dog meal has an ingredient list that makes me want to eat it! After just one feed of it my Border Collie (who was having digestive and absorption problems) was back to his old self. His digestive system is back on track and it's great to see his appetite return. I highly recommend it, your dog will thank you for it.
Just left my 19 week old pup today just for day care he's never been away from us at all so I was nerves more haha even had a wee cry getting into car but they looked after him really well and met us at the door with him brilliant service and amazing prices would recommend xx
Chris and the team have been an absolute God send and Jette has finally found her ‘home from home’. Our Dutch Herder, who has proved a tad too much for the two kennels we have boarder her in previously, has just spent a fortnight in Brookvale. I can not recommend this man, his family and team highly enough. From her very own bespoke plan for her stay there, till picking up a glowing, well groomed and happy camper to go home…with updates and even a wee video while away. Our holiday would not have been possible without you. For that, and the care taken of our dog, I can’t thank you enough.
We left Cookie with Brookvale for 4 weeks. First time for him and us, so I was very apprehensive. But………. I got such a surprise when I collected him. He looked fantastic, had been given a bath and was in brilliant form. And….. being a chocolate lab, I expected him to have put weight on, he hasn’t. He’s in great health and happy. I would absolutely recommend Brookvale.
Excellent boarding kennels at a very reasonable rate. Chris and the team went above and beyond in the care of my two dogs (one spaniel and one golden lab) throughout the summer. The professional, accommodating service was outstanding and would thoroughly recommend.
I would happily recommend brookvale boarding to anyone! We boarded our 2.5yo GSD Austin here for 4 nights as we were getting married in Finnebrogue Woods and we wanted him close by. From the moment I enquired they were so kind and lovely and helpful. They even brought Austin to the wedding reception so we could have a few photos with him, which we are eternally grateful for! Austin was well cared for and happy when we collected him!
NOT RECOMMENDED I boarded my two dogs, a Cocker Spaniel and a Springer Spaniel here for one week in September. When I got them home I discovered that one of the dogs, the Springer, had pressure sores on his front elbows and one of his ankles. On contacting the owner I was basically told that it was the dogs fault due to its inactivity i.e. it was always lying in its bed! Apparently they've never seen dogs like mine before as they didn't pace around their enclosure and were always lying down. My dogs are content individuals. In their down time they switch off, don't most dogs sleep up to 14 hours a day? If they're stimulated, walked and interacted with, they'll be as active as any other dog, particularly the Springer. Mine have been in other kennels numerous times with never a problem. Their bedding in Brookvale apparently consisted of a plastic bed and a blanket, somewhat basic. My Springer has severe arthritis in both front legs and had surgery previously on a back leg. I would have expected some cushioning for his bed, especially as I’d informed the kennels of his condition prior to his arrival. The exercise yard, I'm told, is concrete and the dogs can roam in it. And do what? I feel on this occasion my dogs were somewhat neglected, left alone and didn't receive the "playtime, attention, and individual country walks" that were promised. I'm very disappointed in this facility and the poor quality of care given to my dogs. It seems no one even noticed my Springer had pressure sores, despite the fact that he and my Cocker were bathed prior to me collecting them.
Our pup always lives going to spirit of tyrella, I know he is well liked after and a much better option than kennels
Great place to leave your beloved pooch in very safe hands
Friendly loving lady who loves her job and treat any dog like it her own
We booked our dog in just for one night and did the same thing another reviewer did and popped up to see if we could have a look around (again we didn't know you need an appointment) the very rude lady who greeted us Eileen, said we couldn't, witch was fine we understood when she said we needed to book ahead, the issue was her extremely rude attitude. I thought maybe we had just got her on a bad day, but we didn't as we have found out! On the day we took him for his stay she was even more rude, very hostile attitude and just plain ignorant, I can honestly say I have never been spoken to so rudely as a customer. Only that we had no one else to have our dog and we had a wedding to go to, we both wanted to turn on our heels and take him home with us. When we went to pick him up she was again extremely rude, barely able to utter the words hello! This time we didn't speak to her and paid and got out of there as quickly as possible. Her whole attitude is dreadful. We will NEVER take our dog here again as her disgusting, rude, ill mannered attitude is not for us!
Staff very ignorant and uncaring, my dogs were traumatised, and afraid for days after coming out off it.. I've used it twice but never again.
Our first time leaving our cats at Breeny boarding (or anywhere) and I can't complain. Left for 2 weeks in a shared pod and both cats seemed absolutely fine and were glad to see us on collection. A quick chat with the owners/payment and we were on our way. Will use again 👍 Already thinking of the next holiday....... 🤔
Booked a last minute holiday and was lucky enough to get a space at Breeny. Well organised, had the food we usually give our pup and were easy to deal with. Sophie came back happy, healthy, clean and she'd obviously been brushed as her coat was in great condition. Would have no issues recommending, and would definitely use again.
Just collected my dog after 8 nights at the Kennels. Was great to see him and he looks well cared for. He has never been away from the family before and while he was a little nervous he was OK. Plenty of walks and interaction with other dogs really did the trick. Even managed to lose a little weight as he got more walks than we could do. Booking was easy and handy to make payments in advance of going so no surprise coming home. Addional walks and Sunday dinner available. We supplied our own food as he's a fussy eater however food can be included. Any staff interaction we had was fine. We will use Breeny again with no hesitation.
Maybe this place is good for dogs or confident cats, but I will not be returning with my two cats. I feel so guilty that I never viewed this place or asked more questions before leaving my poor cats here but I was in a rush to get them in somewhere so am writing this review in the hope that I can help others. I had booked my two cats in for 5 days, and had warned them that my boy cat is very nervous and shy. Three days into my trip I rang up to ask how they were doing, in which the woman on the phone said “I don’t know I’ll have to go check” so she went down to the cattery, was away for a few minutes before replying “they’re fine” with no more info. This place needs to realise that to a lot of people their pets are their children and not make them feel stupid for calling to ask how they are. I can’t get the image of what I saw when we went to pick them up out of my head. The “chalet” is a dark dingy cupboard with two shelves. No toys, not even the ones I packed in their carriers with them. There is a cat flap to an outdoor area, but also a window that was wide open, meaning it was freezing. This was the middle of February and my cats are not used to being outside. Their two litter trays were a third of the size they have at home, as both my cats are quite large. But what really upset me was my poor boy cat, who had buried himself under the cushion in the plastic bed they provide. I lifted the cushion to see him, his eyes were wide and he was shaking with fear. I lifted him and he was freezing and his heart was beating so fast. I have never seen him this frightened before it was truly heartbreaking. I wish they even could’ve provided him with a covered igloo bed for him to properly hide away in. I have left my cats with friends and family before and they are usually scared and hiding for the first few hours but soon come into their own when they realise the place is safe. It breaks my heart to think he was this scared for a full 5 days with no one to comfort him. I hoped that they would stroke them/ play with them as my cats are very social and love human interaction but from what I saw I don’t know where they would be able to do this - as a person can barely stand in their cupboard and the hallway lined with closed doors leading to their “chalets” is so thin you have to walk down single file, so there is no room for them to be played with. There were other cats yowling and meowing, probably scared out of their minds and stressed my cats out even more. My poor boy who usually hates his carrier went in limp and willingly. When I brought them both home they fought over their water bowl and drank for 15 minutes straight- they usually don’t drink much at all as they get wet food which leads me to believe they weren’t being fed enough either. Yes this cattery is cheap but please if you can afford better do not put your cats through this - they deserve to be cuddled and played with and you should be updated with a text or photo at least once while you’re away to prove that they are safe and happy.
We were nervous first dropping our dog for daycare trial (as she’s a rescue and had spent considerable time in kennels) - we needn’t have worried. She loved it. I think she was bit put out she didn’t go back the next day! The staff were great and seemed very fond of her. Knowing our dog is happy and well cared for has put us at ease. I think we miss her more than she misses us! We also get a nice sleepy and content dog at the end of the day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
I needed to arrange kennels at fairly short notice due to a family member being unable to take my chihuahua whilst I went on holiday. This was his first proper stay at kennels and i was very nervous. Cooper is a very typical small chihuahua who can be difficult to manage and so I was worried sick about leaving him. I called whilst i was away and was reassured he was being looked after and was safe. The owner was very honest and explained he wasnt happy but he was eating and being taken care off so I relaxed a little and didnt call again. When I went to pick him up they said they worked hard with him and a few of the staff spent a lot of one in one with him. I didn't expect to see Cooper coming out in the arms of one of the girls and he looked disappointed at leaving her. He doesnt allow people to pick him up and i can count in 1 hand the humans that he actually likes, I think i might need 2 hands now! He has dropped a little weight which I expected. He was walked regularly and seems a lot calmer being home. 11days with Breeny seems to have done him the world of good and whilst I will never leave him again for that long, I would definitely use them again. He was clean, his bedding was clean and I even think he had his nails cut. Something I struggle massively with and a groomer is out of the question. Overall delighted and would recommend.
First time leaving our wee dog off in a kennel, obviously we were concerned about this. Informed the staff that we were flying home and planning on coming to pick our dog up straight from the airport, so we might be slightly late but we were definitely coming, they told us this was fine and to not worry. When we arrived we encountered some delays at the airport as my grandmother required assistance. When we arrived at the kennel half an hour after the last pick up time, the woman who served us was incredibly rude. Kept rolling her eyes and told me in no uncertain terms that I was late and I shouldn't be there. I explained I was sorry and that we got held up but we had explained when putting our dog in that we might be late and informed it was okay. She charged us for an extra quarter of a day because of this, obviously not a problem, we were late, but the service was particularly poor. Made me feel really awful and awkward despite me profusely apologising. I understand I was late, but the staff were told about this and we were assured it was okay. Would really make me worry about how the staff treats the animals if they treat the paying customers this poorly when they make an error. Definitely will not be back after such poor treatment, much better kennels out there with much better understanding and kind hearted staff.
I had never boarded my dog in kennels before so I had booked him in for few days while I went abroad. I called up on the Saturday to see if I could have a look round, not knowing this had to be done by appointment and was met by a very rude older woman who raced me round as quick as possible and behaved as if I was really putting her out. No way to run a business in my opinion. I asked my daughter to ring while I was away to check on my boy and off course said woman answered the phone and when my daughter asked how my boy was she was abruptly told “he’s fine” nothing at all to put my mind at ease and no other information about my boy at all. I will not be using these kennels again! Said woman really needs an attitude adjustment! 🤨
Great service from Rachel. She looked after my birds and fish. Provided update on each visit. Came back home to find them all doing well and happy.
I was away from my cat for the first time and Rachel really helped to put my mind at ease. Having a meet and greet before hand, excellent communication and professionalism - I couldn't recommend her services enough, I will definitely be booking again. It was lovely to get photos and videos from each visit and I came home to a stress free pet!
We found Rachael very last minute and we wish we had found her sooner! We had peace of mind with Rachael minding our little cat as she sent daily photos and videos. From our initial meet and greet I was already at ease. Very professional and brilliant to deal with. You can tell Rachael loves animals and she is a true professional and an over all lovely person. We will definitely be returning customers and would recommended anyone to have Rachael look after their pet.
Amazing service. From the first minute of our holiday to the last we felt so comforted that our two cats were being well looked after. Daily photos, videos and updates on their antics. Rachel is a wonderful person and will be our go to pet sitting service from here on in.
I have just had the experience of Rachael pet sitting my cat, Honey and it was a roaring success. Honey is a little timid but she appears to have taken to Rachael from the outset. I was provided with twice daily updates which were much appreciated and came home to a very happy and relaxed cat. In addition Rachael had hoovered and emptied the bins, imagine. This will definitely be my go to option in the future. Very many thanks Rachael.
Rachael was great! We met beforehand to discuss expectations and My fur babies loved her straight away 😊. We felt assured our dogs where in safe hands and loved the little photos we got from her home visit. We would highly recommend Rachael and home comforts, we will be using her more in the future! …
It's such a relief to find someone who I trust to look after my cat. Rachael is so reliable and provides regular updates and pictures. My cat is usually quite shy but was all over her from the first meeting. Would 100% recommend Rachael to keep your pet settled and secure in their own environment/home while you are away from them.
I’d 100% recommend Home Comforts! Rachael was amazing with our cats when we went on holiday for a week. She was especially patient with our older cat, who tends to hide from strangers and often won’t eat when we go away. After some coaxing, she managed to win him around! I also really appreciated the daily updates and photos/videos. It’s great to know and see that they are being well cared for.
Rachael is fantastic, has a really lovely way with animals. She sends regular updates, photo or video for every visit. Would highly recommend.
For the first time since I had my cat, I had to find a pet sitting service while I was away and was not disappointed by my choice. While my cat is very shy, Rachael has shown a lot of patience and attention to detail while looking after her and was always careful to provide updates and photos. I returned home to a happy ball of fur that looked like she did not miss anything in the two and a half weeks. I can definitely say that I will be getting in touch with Rachael in the future whenever I will need someone to look after my cat while I am away.
My Sheltie Jamie has just spent a week with Darren & I couldn't have left him in a better place. He enjoyed playing with the other dogs so much & came out bright eyed & happy. I hope Darren will have us back next holiday.
Fantastic home from home boarding who will look after you dog like one of their own. We left our Frenchie for 2 weeks, and all our concerns were immediately put to rest with daily updates, videos and photos, making our holiday less stressful. Bruno thoroughly enjoyed himself, so much so, he huffed when we brought him home. Can't recommend Jacobs House Dog Home Boarding, highly enough. We will definitely be back.
Booked both my dogs in here as per a recommendation. I was so settled knowing they were well looked after. The surroundings are amazing, lots of countryside/beach and my dogs were walked well. Darren provided me with ongoing updates and pictures during their stay. Dogs were warm and snug inside the home, works well for little King Charles who are used to their luxury! Highly recommend.
The place is so amazing I almost wanted to move in myself lol. My boys were unbelievably happy and I had no worry at all. The weather was extremely warm and Darren looked after them with fans and shelter etc. Updates were regular and detailed. I couldn't leave my boys with anyone else, they would never forgive me lol
Very helpful. Missy our puppy was so well looked after thanks Darren
Lovely place and attentive staff, our cats were very happy after their stay here! It was also lovely seeing photos of them on your Facebook page while we were away, thank you!
Our furball had the time of life here, she was knackered when she came home, staff are great and very friendly, no problems recommending
Excellent,Michelle has a great team of dedicated workers who genuinely care about the cats and dogs. Charlie and Herecules were well looked after.
Pepper had a great time on her St Paddy’s day weekend stay😁 Pepper will be back. Thanks to all the lovely staff who made shy Pepper welcome x …
Been using here for years now, very good set-up and great service. We leave our cat in twice a year and they take really good care of him, he always comes back happy and a little fatter lol. Plus they do Facebook updates on the animals so my daughter loves to see what he's up to when we are on holidays.
Just started using day care and my boy has settled so quickly and loving the other dogs and excitement of all things new. Thanks to the team xx
Excellent kennels. I was rushed into hospital fairly quickly and I went up on spec they would keep my wee dog. They were brilliant and told me not to worry about Charlie and just get my health sorted. To not have to also have further concerns was brilliant. He has stayed there a couple of times, and never comes out looking as if he hasn't enjoyed the experience. Really good kennels, and I would thoroughly recommend.
I phoned sometime ago to enquire about booking in my little dog. I made a booking for one night only in advance of a long weekend and a week in July. I was told the price for boarding would be £24 per night. I phoned the day before to check and asked what time I could bring the dog and was told either in the morning or late afternoon. I arranged to bring him at 10.30 am. I collected the dog the next day shortly after 9.30 am. I had brought the dogs food also for his stay. To my shock and horror they charged me £48 . This was because it was a combination of day care plus overnight charge. Also the place was run down terribly . The cattery bit where I was directed to make the payment was very smelly indeed. Overpowering etc. The attitude of the girl who took my payment was poor, and she just said it is what it is. They seem to concentrate on doggy day care , however these dogs just seemed to be locked up in smallish runs. Book at your peril, I was not happy
They really helped out when someone else let me down at the last minute. My boy seemed happy and well cared for, and it was reassuring to see the photos
We had a trip booked before getting our wee puppy and so had to find somewhere to take him for a couple of nights. I was so anxious about having to leave him, but the ladies were absolutely fabulous! Our wee one was thrilled and didn't want to leave after. Highly recommend and will be using again if needed
Excellent boarding for my dog, he always leaves happy. Knowing he is in safe hands make a trip away slot better, thank you
We left our Labradoodle at Cranmore for the first time. We are so pleased to have found Cranmore, all of the staff were so lovely and couldn't have been any more helpful. You can tell they truly love their animals. Teddy looked wonderful when we collected him and he smelt amazing, as they had washed him, even though we didn't pay for a wash. Great value on their pricing, but you get 5 star treatment! Thanks we will definitely be using again.
Great spot for my wee dog to put her paws up and get some much needed R&R. Definitely recommend
Simply fab. Great friendly staff and furbies love to visit whilst we go on our holidays. Good pricing. Deals for shared kennels if you've 2 dogs. Shampooing also available, dog came back smelling super fresh. Take your own food if you need to, but food also provided in the pricing.
Our two dogs had a great time at Canmore. Staff were great, sent us photos of them to reassure us they were ok. Came back very relaxed and content. They even got washed and freshened up while they were there. We picked them up spotless and smelling like baby Powder. A great place for our dogs to stay
Always use Cranmore whenever we go away or in need of a trim and my dog Barney cannot love it more! The staff are always lovely and friendly and remember everything there is about your pets! Always comes home content and looking and smelling amazing too. When we are dropping him off he is pulling me towards the door as he can’t wait to see them again. Thank you Cranmore for always looking after our pup and we’ll be back each time!!
My Cat has been staying here when I'm away. She loves it. Comes home really content and happy :)
Amber had a great time at Cranmore. They are very professional.
My cat Lucy was in Cranmore for 1 week for her first time. When I collected her she looked relaxed and well cared for. Definitely use it again. I was able to have a look round the facility before hand and it was really clean and cosy.
Had my wee Molly in for a groom and they done such amazing job and at such short notice, brilliant staff thanks again
We have used Cranmore quite a few times now and honestly wouldn't go anywhere else, our dogs always come out bouncing and happy. The staff are so friendly and helpful honestly cannot recommend highly enough. If you want piece of mind that your dogs are being well looked after Cranmore is the right place for you.
