I met Ali through a recommendation from my mother in law since she loved their service. Her and her husband have been respectful and very professional with our fur babies when they do their in home trim visit. She’s also worked with me in terms of appointment times and dates. I’m very grateful for how well they both work with our dogs. So far 5 of our families dogs have had their nails trimmed by them and they loved the experience.

Stella is a golden retriever who was anxious when on walks and would bark and lunge at other dogs. I came across Ali’s petcare service and made an appointment. She met with me and Stella we discussed our goals . We started walking together and she showed me how to handle Stella when other dogs are around and good leash techniques. I learned a lot from Ali and she is very patient and manages dogs well . Stella can now walk past other and dogs and focus on me . If she would react I now know how to handle it . So far the training is a success . I highly recommend Ali’s service for any dog issue , she is very knowledgeable and a delight to work with

Ali is excellent, she has helped Maisy, an 8-month-old pup and I get off to a great start. Ali gave Maisy and I the tools to successfully grow our bond. She is still young, so we have a way to go. I look forward to continuing our relationship and education. Thank you so much for such a positive experience.

Ali is the absolute best. She is so professional and extremely detail oriented. We first used Ali when we went on vacation out of the country for over 2 weeks. Our 2 cats were in such good care. Ali and David took such great care of our 2 cats who were both about a year old and we didn't want to board. One of them required medication at the time, which was not a problem for Ali and David. We plan on using Ali's pet services anytime we are out of town. I recommend her highly!

Ali is an amazing and devoted pet care service provider. My 20 pound spca rescue has been with me for many years and doesn’t take well to new people. Ali and her fiancé came in with open arms and trimmed his nails. They were patient, kind, and very efficient. They took wonderful care of Ruben. Ali is absolutely the best! Our young dog is not a fan of getting his nails trimmed, and the vet and groomer want him sedated first. Ali has no problem with him, and David always holds him securely so that, before he knows it, his nails are done. I love that she comes to the house, as it is much less stressful than taking him to the vet. Ali is friendly, quick, and a gem to our community. I highly recommend!!

I have been using Ali's services for about a year and a half now, my pug struggled getting his nails trimmed, when I took him to the vet they told me the next time I bring him in for a nail trim they'd have to give him meds to calm down. I was not on board with medicating him, so we gave Ali a try. Let me just say my boy LOVES her. He is calm and lets them do what needs to be done without being medicated and he doesn't throw a fit like he did at the vet..... Plus I love the ease of them coming to my home to take care of him. Hands down the best!! If your fur baby needs a nail trim I highly recommend you use Ali!! You won't regret it.

I’m so excited to recommend Ali to anyone searching for a dog trainer. I have a 90 pound Bernedoodle that would normally walk loose leash until he saw another dog and morphed into a maniac, jumping and pulling on the leash. Not only was his behavior stressful and embarrassing, but on one occasion he dragged me to the ground resulting in scrapes and bruised ribs. After a complimentary meet and greet and two training lessons with Ali, my dog can now remain calm while passing dogs on leash or barking at him from a yard. He’s not perfect yet and we’ll keep training with Ali, but he’s 80% improved. I’m also very impressed with Ali’s professionalism and her ability to find positive behavior in both my dog’s and my behavior when faced with challenges during our training sessions.

I was really worried about leaving my dog at a new place, as it was the first time I had to do this, but I had a great experience! The kennel is clean, comfortable for the dog, I could bring my dog’s blankets, food, treats and some comfort objects. Wendy is a very nice and polite person, and she gave me updates, which gave me peace to enjoy my vacation. Great way to do business!

We were nervous to use a boarding facility for the first time. But once we met to drop off our dog we were impressed. The kennels are large with an outdoor space. They are given room to run around outside. While able to see the other dogs they are always kept separate keeping them all safe. She assured us he would be okay. We were sent pictures and updates while we were away. We picked him safe and sound. We will definitely be coming back again.

We’ve used Home Away from Home twice now and our dog surprised me the second time when she actually seemed excited about being dropped off. She usually doesn’t like getting boarded at all. We always pick her up healthy and happy. Highly recommended!

My third time using this kennel and my dog pulled me in! She couldn't wait to see Ms Wendy! The kennels are clean, organized and the dogs are well cared for.

Absolutely terrible!!! If you are considering boarding your pet do NOT go here. My dog was left pretty much lifeless after neglectful staff not following specific instructions on how to give insulin after he eats. They claimed they knew how to take care of diabetic pets but they clearly do not. Dogs body temp dropped to 96 which is supposed to be 101-102. Any longer he would have been dead. Blood sugar was at 140 only because Karo syrup was given to him to get his blood sugar up. Owner refuses to answer any phone calls and she and her staff do nothing but try to lie their way out of the neglectful situation they put my dog in. Good thing I have ALL pictures and records of everything. Save yourself the trouble and money because they just end up costing you more in the long run.$130 charge from Awesome pawz, $152 vet bill and $170 hotel stay that I was unable to use but still had to pay. Awesome pawz is anything but awesome!!!

This was the worst self service dog wash I've used in my life, and I've used quite a few. I had to spend A LOT of money (which is what they like) because the water pressure on the hose was so low it was almost impossible to get all the soap off of my double coat dog. My kitchen sink has better water pressure. Also, the dog wash has no soap in it and it was laying in a metal bowl on the floor 🤣 it's a joke lol. DO NOT waste your money, your time, or your dog's time at this facility. Note: I've also heard that the owner, a lady, is not very kind so she will probably try to get revenge on me somehow for my review.

I cant speak for anything other than the self wash. Ive been a professional pet stylist 15 years and they have the worst self wash ive ever used and seen in my life. No water pressure what so ever, the soap was not coming out of the machine so i had to call the front desk. 4$ and 8 minutes wasted. $16 later i got through one and a half dogs, which the half of dog left soapy. Total rip off, and cant believe you guys are charging people for that. Terrible, close it off.

Lied to me about pricing and then didn't even pick up all the poop on my small yard. Just walked around looking lost. Also no communication on when they were arriving. My old person had it down to the minute. Will go back to him....

Wonderful place. My dog isn’t the most friendly with other dogs but they tried to get her acclimated around other dogs and made sure she was safe and comfortable her entire stay. They were super friendly when I came to pick her up too.

My dog absolutely loves it here. He goes there for daycare, boarding, and to get groomed. He is always excited when we pull up at the building. After a groom he always looks great. I have also recently started using their pet waste management service and they always do a great job.

I had called in about asking how much a wash, dry, and nail trim would be. I was told over the phone that they cannot give me a price. I would understand if they had asked me to bring the dog in and gave me a price BEFORE grooming. However, the gentleman on the phone told me that they would have to groom my dog first before giving me a price that could be anywhere between 60 to $100 plus. If I'm trying to shop around for pricing that's not going to do it. Also I only pay in cash so what happens if I were to come up short because they didn't give me a price? Completely ridiculous

Awesome Pawz does a great job with my nervous boy! The price is competitive with similar businesses in the surrounding area, and the quality of service is by far the best. My mom's dog has special needs that are accommodated - no questions asked. These people truly love animals. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I would highly recommend FurKids PA to anyone who is looking to have their animals cared for. Karen has been walking my dog several times a week for going on two years now and I feel totally at ease knowing that she is watching after him when I can't be home. She always texts when she leaves my house to let me know that he has been taken care of and often even sends pictures which makes me smile. I am very particular about who I leave the care of my dog to and I know that Karen takes care of him just like I would. I would without a doubt recommend FurKids PA to anyone who is looking to have their "furry kids" looked after.

I had Karen from FurKidsPA care for my cats while I was away. She came when expected, and always sent me pictures and updates. Any time I had a question, I heard back from her quickly. Fantastic service, and I'll be using FurKidsPA again.

Where do I begin with this review? Since moving to the area as a single person with no relatives around, I needed someone to help me with my puggle while I was at work. After meeting with two other people I decided Karen was the best option. Over the course of the last two years, I switched jobs a few times with different schedules. Karen was always able to accommodate us. Sometimes I needed her help in the evening or sometimes early in the morning. Regardless, she was always able to help, I am sure it wasn’t always easy for her but she made it work for me (thanks Karen!). Currently, Karen stops by Monday through Friday weekly and neither my pup nor I would want it any other way. My boy also loves his Karen time. He loves when she comes to visit, sometimes I feel like he’s looking for her at her normal time even when I am home. I also enjoy the pictures she sends me from their meet ups. This isn’t just a job to Karen , she really loves coming to see my boy. Part of me did not want to write a review. Reason being, I thoroughly enjoy Karen being a secret only a select few know about. However, due to how wonderful of a person and worker she is, I have to help spread the word of FurKids of PA. Your pets will be happy as will you.

Karen at Fur Kids is an amazing pet sitter! We've been using her for more than 7 years. She's cared for our cats, our fish, and even our hamster! She always goes above and beyond to make sure our property is cared for while we are away, from bringing in the mail to watering the plants! Karen has bought treats when we've run out, fixed our cat feeder, and several times has extended her services for additional days with little notice when our trips have run long. She's incredible! Being fully insured and sending us pictures of our pets daily let's us feel totally comfortable while we're away. Worth every penny! Jen & Cody

Karen is wonderful! She's taken care of our three dogs when we were out of town and takes them on their regular walks as well. The pups always complete their walks with big smiles on their faces and they sense, as I do, that she is a real dog person and cares for them and all animals which is very important to us. Karen is professional and conscientious. She texted me pics of our pups when we were away and she sends updates on how they are doing which sets our minds at ease. I highly recommend her.

My beasties (2 cats) are my babies and when my friend who took care of them for me moved away, I didn't know what I was going to do. Karen is amazing. We received daily texts letting us know how each visit went. When we came home, both cats were happy, content and very well cared for. Now, when we have to travel, we can do so secure because we know there is someone taking care of them who really cares about the animals she watches. Highly recommend!

We had our boxer puppy here for 12 days & they went above and beyond ❤️ she had an activity everyday on top of what they already do for the animals. Updates daily on my phone and Facebook that I couldn’t wait to see! She wasn’t home for Thanksgiving. But they did something special for all the boarding pets!. It’s these little things that really makes this place amazing. I couldn’t have asked for better care. I’ve used one other boarding place and had an awful experience so I was nervous coming! But, I Highly highly recommend this place! Amazing care!

What a great place to bring your dog. She is very afraid to get her nails trimmed and I have tried many times. She turns into a Grizzly bear! The groomer had her in and out in 8 minutes. Very happy! Will be going here for all my doggy services.

Great place for your dogs to stay while you're away. They get so much love and attention from the staff. The big yards are an awesome place for them to run around and stretch their legs. The rooms and runs are kept so clean with plenty of room to move around. Each animal is cared for as if they're the staffs own family member. We have taken our German Shepherd Sadie on numerous occasions to Scotch Valley Kennels, most recently over the Christmas holiday while we were on vacation. Patty is so good with Sadie as she is with all the dogs. Sadie loves Patty and is always eager to go inside. Patty has always taken excellent care of Sadie and ensures she gets plenty of exercise daily. She sends pics and videos of Sadie which is reassuring to us that Sadie is being well cared for. It is without hesitation that I recommend Scotch Valley Kennel to anyone looking to board their fur babies!

We were extremely worried boarding our 9 month old Rottweiler for 10 days but upon talking to Patti she was very knowledgeable and insured he was in good hands. Throughout his stay she send us photos and kept great communication with us pertaining to his behavior and how he was doing. Would definitely recommend to anyone no matter the dog and will be boarding with her again.

Our dogs have stayed here for over 10 years. We moved from that area 4 years ago, and yet when we go away for a long period of time we still take our dogs there. Patti is superb. She has rules for the good of everyone, and rightfully so. We now live in the Lebanon area and can't find anywhere around here that is as clean and as well run and most times at twice the cost. This is a beautiful boarding kennel, and the owner really cares about the pets staying there. Our dog loves to visit! We wouldn't take her to any other kennel in the Bloomsburg area. I never worry when our dog is "vacationing" there!

Scotch Valley is the only boarding kennel that I am comfortable leaving my dog at. Beautiful facility out in the country run by someone who truly cares about the animals. Very reasonable rates.

PATTY is great! Scotch valley is GREAT. We have taken Brody there for 3 years now. Before that we had my parents dogs that went there. I will never go anywhere else. I have read comments that people think her rules are overboard. Guess what!! I don’t want my dog to get anything your dog has so I appreciate the rules. Runs are always clean. Brody is always cared for. All kennels should be run this way and all dogs should be loved the way Patty and her son love our Brody. See you in June, August and October Patty..... Brody misses his big buddy to play ball with!!!

I know when I take my dogs to Scotch Valley, they will be in a clean and well thought out environment! This is the first place that I have taken them that leaves my mind free of worry for my pets! Patty, the owner, is spot on with details to make sure all animals are well taken care of and happy. The kennel is spacious and each of my dogs get their own run, yet she allows them to share a yard to play. Would and have suggested this kennel to my friends who love their pets!

I love this kennel , the owner is the only care giver here , no crates , no hired help , my dog is always happy to go , I visited many kennels before I chose here , it is spotless and the cleanest kennel I ever saw . The runs are spacious , the play yards are huge and clean ! My dogs comes home happy and tired . Made an appointment to take my dog here with an appointment time of 330pm. I received a call from the woman who ran the kennel that I was a no call no show at 10 am that morning and that I would have to find another kennel. This was a huge inconvenience as I had booked this weeks in advance. I did not receive any kind of confirmation for my appointment time the previous week just a nasty message I was not allowed to bring my dog to her kennel. I would not waste my time with this kennel. If this is how they treat new customers I can only imagine how they treat the dogs.

Piddle Paws was recommended to us by a friend and we are so very happy and grateful for the service they provided! Lesley and Jeff came out for a meet and greet to get the process started and from there gave amazing care to our dog while we were away. We had peace of mind as she got to stay in our home and not deviate from her normal routine. We can’t say enough about Lesley and Jeff. They were absolutely fantastic with our fur babies. We recently adopted our dog and it was the first time we had to leave her at home alone. This was also the very first time we had a pet sitting service take care of our animals instead of family. Prior to us leaving we had a meet and greet. Upon meeting with them we were very much so at ease. They have a very compassionate energy and our animals picked right up on it. They really tailor to your pets needs. We got daily texts with reports and pictures of our fur babies each time they stopped at the house. Walks/playtime/cuddles and lovin were given as well making our animals feel more at ease and loved.They even help us keep an eye on our koi pond! If your weird about letting people in your home when your not there Lesley and Jeff are the people for your needs. I am very weird about that. They are VERY trustworthy and respectful. Like I said I can’t say enough of our experience with Piddlepaws. We will DEFINITELY using them from now on!!

Lesley and Jeff recently just watch my cat Maple. They were amazing with her. They sent me updates every time they stopped by and pictures. My cat loved the company and all the attention she got from them. I highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again when I go away.

Lesley and Jeff are terrific! They took care of our dog and our daughter's cat while we were away and I couldn't be happier with the care they received. They successfully kept the animals apart, they kept the food areas clean, they sent regular updates and pics, I have nothing but good things to say about them and wholeheartedly recommend them! We've used PiddlePaws several times now to provide care for our cats. They are very polite and professional and perform everything exactly as we request. It is very comforting to know someone is ensuring our kitties get fresh food, water, treats, and a clean litter box while we are away! The daily updates are nice as well. PiddlePaws does the other little things that we often forget about, like watering the plants. The last trip we forgot to put a hold on the mail and PiddlePaws checked the mail for us each day. I strongly recommend PiddlePaws if you are looking for pet sitting.

I decided to take a chance and they turned out to be the best pet sitters I ever had. They sent detailed notes and lots of photos to me after every visit they had with my dog. Highly recommend. The owners love all they board and have a passion for what they do for over 30 years. My dog is treated wonderfully and loved while I'm away. I trust all they do and give him a bath before I pick him up with a top secret home made shampoo that makes him smell great even after 8 weeks.

Been taking our dog there for years. Super friendly staff who adore their customers’ pets. The dogs are always exited when we pull up out front to drop them off.

Owners are wonderful and the kennel is clean and well maintained. My puppy is afraid of everything and they took their time with him to make him comfortable. We will definitely be leaving our dogs here in the future when we can't have them along.

Our pups love it! We use Pet Dome once or twice a year, and we couldn't be happier. We know that our boys are well taken care of, have plenty of room to play and get TLC from the owners.

This is the second time we have boarded our dog at Pet dome, and we won’t go anywhere else. The owner is great to work with and obviously cares about the animals in his care. Facilities are the best I’ve seen; clean and with plenty of space and light. We drive past several other boarding places to go to The Pet Dome.

***Do not leave your pet here unless you want them to be starved of food and basic attention.*** I selected this place because it had five star reviews but I am terribly disappointed with my pet's experience. She is well traveled and it's not her first rodeo aka first time staying in a kennel. My overall complaint is my cat was mistreated. The offenses are (1) that my pet was returned to me with 9 cans of tuna after a 2 week stay of which even included two extra unexpected days due to bad weather, (2) she was returned to me having lost 2 pounds, and (3) she was sick after her stay. To make matters worse, my cat was already in her carrier when I arrived, which is suggestive of how my cat was treated--always penned up in isolation. When I arrived, her meows were so loud I could hear them outside of the kennel. I opened her carrier immediately to love on her and she was so skinny (I took her to the vet two days later and she had lost 2 pounds from her stay). When we returned home, she was famished. She ate two whole cans of regular sized tuna. She had some dinner but mostly slept the whole day she was back at home. She was lethargic. The next morning she was so sick and had pieces of red stuff in her vomit. It appeared they fed her something else, which was not anything I gave them to feed her. She is strictly on fish. The last issue, the couple running the facility wanted to administer an injection to my cat for feline leukemia, claiming it is part of their policy. I tried to honor it as soon as I knew it was a requirement by scheduling a vet appointment immediately (in no way would I let them administer the injection so I took her to the vet to have it done by a professionally licensed veterinarian). As it turns out per the vet's expertise, an animal should not receive a leukemia vaccination the day of arrival because it takes two weeks for the inoculation to be effective. Therefore, receiving the vaccination on the day of arrival as suggested by Gaylen, would render my pet not safe from leukemia from other animals who are sick with leukemia or have been inoculated within the 2 week window required for effectiveness. Additionally, the guy was a vet tech a long time ago. He's not a vet, he runs a kennel and because of Pennsylvania State law, it is considered "agriculture" which is why he has vaccines. That is another issue. The vaccination was unnecessary because (1) it takes two weeks for the vaccination to be effective and (2) my pet would not be back in time for the booster, therefore, the vaccination would have been extra chemicals in my pet for something she doesn't need because she is never in contact with unvaccinated animals. If this couple would put wood or metal sheets between the cages, contact with other cats would be impossible. Instead, they want to vaccinate animals on the spot which actually does not protect the cats and provides a false sense of security to pet owners who believe the vaccination will actually be effective on the spot. Who puts cats next to each other when they can see each other?! Cats are territorial by nature and typically hate other cats. I do not recommend anyone to put their animal there in general, but if it is necessary, definitely not for any extended period of time because the couple cannot handle it and the facility is not set up well for cats. Nice people, but that does not make up for the poor care of my pet. I give one star for keeping my cat alive.

Very friendly, schedule specific drop off and pick up times to avoid too many customers at once, and my puppy comes home smelling WONDERFUL after his complimentary bath and is very tired after every visit! I will never go anywhere else.

My dog is well taken care of there. Easy drop off and pick up. Our dog enjoys it so much that when we approach the driveway, he knows it and gets very excited.

Best family destination for fun. Admission is free and everything is what family friendly is all about. It's a very Patriotic Park and I love it here for both me and my family. A must go!!!!!
