Pet Sitting in El Jebel

In addition to being a VERY TRUSTED house/pet sitter, he is the best "updater" I've ever had. He would take the dogs on outings and report some hilarious antics -- then he'd post cuddly stories, and fun stories. The dogs were extremely well taken care of. It is obvious he cares about his charges -- whether cats or dogs... or I'm assuming anything else. He's personable, funny, intelligent and you can pretty much trust him with your most valued possessions. When my finicky eater was worried about her, he asked if he could cook her some chicken so she'd eat. Even thought I wasn't worried about her -- he was. So he cooked her some yummy chicken, which she of course loved. I'm booking him a year in advance while I can still get on his calendar. Add to that, the fact that he left the house in immaculate shape. Oh did I mention -- while we were gone, it snowed 20 inches, and he shoveled the snow off our 23 three outside stairs in the front, the back stairs, and part of the back deck. WAY outside the call of duty.

Though only a short house sit we were very happy with how Maia and the house were looked after. Lovely to meet Donna and Felix, they made the most of their time for being in Glasgow.

Scott was wonderful taking care of our two dogs and two cats, and also our house! The dogs went on some great adventures and the cats were very comfortable at home. We stayed in touch regularly and Scott sent pictures of the animals which made us happy. When we returned, our pets were happy and the house was clean and tidy. Scott even fixed some lighting issues for us. We would highly recommend Scott! He takes this job very very seriously. We had total peace of mind while we were away and would ask Scott to sit again in a heartbeat!

Sara and Christophe took awesome care of Ricky. He was outdoors a lot with them and their sweet dog, Lily. And he was tired at night -- which we love. We got photos of good times; they asked all the right questions; and they left us a really good summary of things at the end. Our house was perfectly clean when we returned. We were so happy to have them here, and hope they'll be back!

This is the second time that we've had Tami stay with our boys and once again, she did a wonderful job! She stayed for three weeks and took care of our two cats and our 6 year old yellow Lab, Koen. She made sure that he got his two outings every day, either walks or to the dog park. She was great in sending us lots of photos of them all and she always communicates if she has any issues or questions. She left the house in great shape too. I highly recommend Tami, as she will take great care of your pets and your house while you're gone. We're really hoping that she can come back again next summer!

Lisa and Bob were fantastic! They were eager to sit, to enjoy the location and eager to take Ricky on adventures with them and their dog Bailey. The house was left spotless and in good order, and Rick was exhausted: just the way we like him. :) We highly recommend this easygoing and thoughtful couple who made us feel like we were in good hands - and, in fact, we were!

Erin was absolutely marvellous as a house & pet sitter. Her commitment was so much valued - as she managed to get out of the US when the worst winter storm was raging in order to make it to us on time! Erin met with us for lunch before we left and was able to ask questions about the house before we left her with the cat and the dog. The dog fell in love with her and is now sulking that she has gone! Erin was very 'on purpose' and organised and very easy going. She also left us some lovely food in the fridge for our return and left the house looking very spic and span! Her sense of duty, sense of humour and helpfulness was second to none. Also it was greatly appreciated that photos were sent on WhatsApp so we could rest assured that the cat and dog were in good hands. Thank you so much Erin! We had the pleasure of welcoming Melanie as our pet and house sitter, and our experience was mostly positive. Melanie proved to be very reliable from the outset, ensuring we had a video chat before her arrival to familiarize with our home and pets. Melanie and her partner were a delightful couple, leaving our home neat and tidy upon departure. The regular updates with pictures of our dog were a thoughtful touch that we greatly appreciated. However, there were a few areas where our instructions were not fully adhered to. Despite our clear guidance to take our dog for two walks daily, this routine was not consistently followed. Additionally, their time away from the house exceeded the three-hour maximum we had specified. Another point of concern was the mix-up with the pet food; dog food was inadvertently placed in the cat food container. While we understand mistakes can happen, a more upfront communication about this mix-up would have been preferred. Despite these issues, it was evident that Melanie treated our home with respect and care. We believe that with clearer communication, Melanie would be a good pet sitter for future assignments.

Laura was everything we asked for and could have wanted for Molly. After meeting Laura it was immediately obvious that she has a special love for animals . She brought with her Pipkin, a rescue from the streets of Mexico, and they both got on just great, as Laura had said would happen. I think that Molly felt like she was on a vacation too! Our house was spotless and everything looked great when we arrived home. We never had trouble communicating, and received lots of pictures at our request. She listened to our concerns about Molly’s special needs (don’t disturb when sleeping, etc) and made sure that Molly was always happy and fed . We would not hesitate to ask her to come back in the future. Thank you Laura for being a great pet sitter for our Molly!!

We loved having Sue stay in our home and care for our zoo! From the moment she reached out we felt good about moving forward with her - not only did she already have great reviews, her initial message to us was detailed and thoughtful. Sue was quick to respond to our messages and texts, arrived and left when she said she would, and left our place clean! All the animals were in good spirits when we returned. We would be glad to have Sue back at our home :) The only thing we would ask for next time is that Finn be left outside on the last day as we had a very long travel day and he can't be left inside for more than a few hours. We will clarify this for future sits. Thank you again, Sue!!
