We can't say enough positive things about Karen and Steve and the careful attention they gave to our pets and our home. They communicated proactively and just the perfect amount to make us feel comfortable that our pets were happy and taken care of. When we returned, our home was definitely cleaner than when we left and they left us some healthy food options so I didn't have to worry about what to have for dinner after a long journey. Christina and Warren were amazing sitters. Chester usually is sad the first couple of days we leave, but with their dog Baiily there and being very gentle and tons of beach and activity time, he didn't even mind we were gone! It was like he had a vacation too. Christine sent daily pictures and videos of Chesters activities and it made our day. They were very reliable, easy to communicate with and a perfect fit for us. I'd highly recommend them for a house sit. You can also tell they have a lot of experience with dogs as they do lots of rescue in Mexico and it shows.

Elizabeth was just lovely; we couldn't have been happier with how she cared for our home and pets. She was independent and self-sufficient. She loved on our 2 yo staffie when he was frightened during storms, and when he was missing us. She gave our indoor/outdoor cat room to wander and affection when he desired it. We arrived home to a clean and tidy home. Elizabeth even washed the sheets and towels, and remade the guest bed. I highly recommend her for future sits. We would love to have her return!

Nicole was an amazing sitter. I am still amazed at the cleanliness of our home! It really is cleaner than when we left. Communication was perfect - pictures of our pups and bunnies doing their favorite things. She handled any semi-emergencies perfectly (solving, texting, and providing options for a leaking sink, off balanced pool chemicals, and even a tropical storm). The animals were obviously very well cared for. The dogs got so spoiled with their swimming and Nicole even trimmed knots out of their fur. Our neighbors have commented on how attentive she was with the animals. Above all, the work she did in the yard and with my plants was incredible. She brought many plants back to life, propagated the healthy ones, killed pests, and taught me so much about gardening in general. She really is incredibly talented and I'm sure my plants miss her! Overall, Nicole was a great, trustworthy, tidy, and attentive house-sitter. We wouldn't hesitate to have her back!

Riley was great! She has a warm, calm personality. This was the 2nd time she sat for Girlie, and this time also included my mom's cat (and the 2 cats don't get along). Everything went off without a hitch. She kept me updated and sent regular pics. Riley had to change litter boxes, feed 3x daily, give fresh daily water, play with the cats, and kept them separated. I returned to a clean house and happy cats ;)! I would definitely ask Riley to sit again!

Regina was outstanding! One of the best sitters we've had. She was reliable, communicative, sent pictures of our dog swimming, left the house super clean, and was a pleasure to work with. She even baked blueberry chocolate chip muffins for us, which were delicious. I would be thrilled to have Regina stay again in the future.

A small family that loves dogs.
Ian, Deanna and their son Oliver house sat for us for nearly 3 weeks. They seemed to really enjoy their time in Warwickshire and our Spaniels enjoyed many a long walk as they explored the area. They enjoyed going to the Monkey Bean coffee shop at a farm at the top of the hill and Ian in particular enjoyed mixing with the locals. Ian also expressed his keenness for English cast ( real) ales which compared very favourably with the beer he was used to in Canada. Deanna write a delightful piece for our village magazine about her impressions of Tysoe and the North Cotswolds - it is always interesting to see/hear newcomers impressions of a place so familiar to us. And to cap things off Ian ( who is a trained chef) cooked us Sunday lunch upon our return from holiday. All in all a very successful house sit.

Stacy was a fantastic houseguest and sitter. We got home to a clean house and to two very happy dogs. Stacy was communicative, organized, and flexible before and during her stay. She sent regular updates with texts and photos and she took the dogs on nice, long walks everyday. She even gave the dogs new chew toys for Christmas. Do not hesitate to invite Stacy into your home! We’d have her back any day.

honeybee was a great sitter for our 3 animals. She communicated very well throughout the sit. Our flight home was delayed and she was great about being able to cover the extra days. Her connection to the animals was wonderful. We were less organized than intended on her arrival due to some unexpected work issues, and she was great about rolling with the changes (e.g. the closet doors were missing as the painter hadn't finished with them). She used public transport to get to Golden and then drove our car while here. She left a few items behind, and her attention to kitchen cleanliness could be better, but we would definitely have her sit our pets again if the opportunity arises.

This was our first time using a pet or house sitter and the bar set by Leslie is very high! She is warm, friendly, communicative, responsible and very clean. Upon arriving, she immediately bonded with our rat terrier, Oreo, by bringing him a new frisbee (his favorite toy/activity) and throwing it for him in our backyard. Leslie has a sweet and mellow dog, Benny, who is now Oreo's new buddy! She kept my husband and I updated via texts/pictures of their daily activities, our house, and was proactive in asking questions before she left. She even dropped our dog off at the kennel for one night at the end of our trip since our flight was too late for us to get home for him! Our home was clean and had fresh flowers from our garden that she put in vases for us! Such a simple and nice touch! We have asked Leslie to come back to sit for us again for 2 weeks in August. I'd highly recommend her to take care of your pet(s) and home too!

Tina was a fantastic house/pet sitter for my cat Trixie - I can’t recommend her enough! She was very communicative and also self sufficient and I felt completely at peace with Trixie in her care. She took it upon herself to water my plants and also trimmed Trixie’s nails, which I always struggle with! She provided perfect company for Trixie, playing with her, brushing her, loving her and giving her daily medicine. She also left my apartment in perfect condition. I would gladly have Tina pet sit again. A 10/10 experience.

Once again, having AnnaMarie take care of our pups was absolutely the right choice!! Her frequent updates, care of our house and fur babies was stellar! Although the dogs were thrilled to see us when we returned, as we chatted with Annemarie, we could see them continuing to go to her for affection and cuddles. It was so sweet to watch our one-year-old lick her ear and Annamarie just giggled and happily tolerated it. What a great sport😎. We would highly recommend her to anyone and would also suggest if you happen to see a less than perfect review for her ( there is only 1)I know the true story... it's unfortunate that some people are so unappreciative of someone who will go out of their way to care for their home and Pets (at no charge🙃🙃)-- it just boggles my mind and am confident they are not being honest! Suffice it to say she is a gem and perfect sitter in every way- if you can get a chance to book with her- do not hesitate! She was easy to communicate with before and during the sit (very responsive), and made time to do a walk through of our house/intro to Rosie prior to the sit. Angie and her husband Joe were a great fit for our house and pet sitting needs! They kept in communication with us before our vacation started, and were able to arrive a little early so we could walk them through how various systems worked and where controls were located. Our dog bonded with Angie very quickly and I think he was hoping she would stay after we returned home :) We got regular updates and pet photos while we were traveling. Although we were out of cell phone range for several days, we never had a doubt that things at home would be just fine while they were there! They were also very flexible and understanding. Due to our flight schedule we arrived home in the middle of the night. Angie was able to feed and walk our dog, clean up and leave in the morning without waking us up! The house was left clean, the garden was thriving and our pup was happy. We are happy, and would be happy to have them back again as sitters anytime.

Jennifer was great and I would highly recommend her. Right from the start, Jennifer was clear and helpful in her communication, and she was very available to us throughout the stay via messaging. She sent pics of our fur babies regularly - without asking - which always makes us happy when we're away. And the biggest compliment I can give: when we came home, our pets were relaxed and happy, and no hidden cat messes to be found (we've had this happen with previous sitters a lot). I would love to have Jennifer stay at our home again in future.

Farhan is a fantastic house sitter! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a down-to-earth, kind, and caring pet sitter for their home. We have three small dogs (around 6 lbs) and he took excellent care of them. They can be a little nervous/ timid around new people, and more so around men at times, but the dogs didn't show any of that nervousness around Farhan! He was gentle and respectful of their space and they warmed up to him immediately. I got a wonderful text the first morning that I was away that they cuddled up with him at night - showing how quickly they adjusted to him as their caretaker. I was able to meet Farhan in person before I left on my trip and I was able to have a wonderful conversation with an ambitious explorer. He is a delightful person. Upon my homecoming the house was very clean and the dogs were happy and relaxed. I can't ask for anything more! Thank you Farhan for taking such wonderful care of our three dogs and our home.
