Mary was fantastic from start to finish and looked after our elderly dog with love and attention to her needs. She also looked after our home with respect and care. We couldn't have asked for a nicer sitter and would highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs.
Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden. The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom. Already scheduled a second sit! If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.
Lani is an excellent Pet Sitter and housesitter. Communication was easy, our pet Cleo appreciated her loving care. We came home to a relaxed and happy cat. I would happily ask Lani to housesit again.
Anant was a great sitter and a friendly guy. Kept me up to date re his arrival and with Marie & Toulouse during the sit. Found my house exactly as I had left it. Would highly recommend Anant to other pet parents.
Mary Jessica was a wonderful house and pet sitter for our GIANT dog Mamma Mia. She took extremely good care of our house with it cleaner than we left it upon our return. Our neighbors remarked on all the walks she gave Mamma and Mamma seemed very pleased with the entire experience. Mary Jessica was self sufficient, needing very little instruction outside of our Welcome Guide. She followed everything I wrote and asked how much communication I’d want. I’m very pleased and would both recommend her and love to have her again.
Rachel was an excellent pet sitter for my cat. She was a good communicator and also kept my place very tidy. She even left me a gift of a bar of chocolate upon her departure! Highly recommend.
5 stars? Minimum, seriously, Tyler exceeded our expectations and we are DEMANDING when it comes to caring for our 4 pups! Fortunate to meet Tyler in person about a month prior, instant rapport, and she was basically born surrounded by animals. Professional high energy, and enthusiastic love for animals! We asked Tyler "Why the heck would you drive 1.5 hours from Nashville to hang in our small town?" Tyler replied "Have had animals all my life, current Nashville location cannot, I need my animal fix!" Tyler arrived the evening prior to our departure, met our 4 dogs, the eldest is special needs with bad hips, the youngest a wild child 2 year old husky, and in the 15 years of having family or friends assist with our pup sitting, this is the most positive and enthusiastic our dogs have been to anyone outside our home. It was an instant love affair. Our dogs are so spoiled with mom & dad working from home, nearly 24/7 attachment, they typically become depressed, despondent, ornery, you name it, even if we go out for 2-3 hours. The 3 instances where we did an overnight trip or the like, they acted as if we had abandoned! When we came home after 3 nights away (was going to be 5 but business cut our first vacation in 10 years short), when we walked in the 4 of them looked up as if to say "Oh your home how nice" and were content as if we had never left. That is a FIRST in 15 years. Not only did Tyler provide us with updates, photos, messages, etc. she organized (we did not require nor ask) our complete chaos of a large kitchen drawers, pots pans, you name it, it was the most organized we have been in a LONG time. Our eldest handicapped Husky, usually has accidents in the house at least once a day. The youngest 2 year old loves to chew up the carpet, toys, bedding. Under Tyler's watch, no accident, no chewing, and total happiness from a new affectionate friend! This was our VERY FIRST Trusted House/Pet sitter foray, and Tyler far exceeded or expectations, and set a standard that will be difficult for others to follow. Allowing a total stranger to watch your beloved pets and home is a serious undertaking, and Trusted House/Pet provided us with a rock star. Family and friends alike joke how we are over the top with our dogs, and Tyler did not bat an eye, and provided a seamless transition of puppy affection and well being. This review may seem over the top to some, all I can say is this is 100% true to life, and other Home/Pet owners are welcome to reach out to us for further referral. Those who are able to work with Tyler depending on her work/travel schedule would be well served to invite her without hesitation. Tyler, THANK YOU for allowing us to enjoy a few nights for the first time in a decade! Dean & Diana Smith
Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again. If you are privileged enough to ever have Janis sit we are certain that you will be as delighted and happy as we are.
Angela and Joe are wonderful house and pet sitters sitters in every way. They have a great loving way with animals and my shy dog warmed up to them right away. They are warm, organized, confident, and thorough. They communicated very well and gave me frequent updates and sweet photos of my dog Chica. They also took excellent care of my home. My only regret was that I didn't get to spend more time with them, because they're such lovely and interesting people. I give Angela and Joe my highest recommendation and feel that anyone would be very lucky to have them their sitters! I hope that they return to sit here again.
Absolutely Incredible.... I will not lie, I was hesitant because David did not have any pet sits before this one (gotta start somewhere) but because he did the background check I decided to contact him. We had a great phone conversation and the decision was made. He came to my house the night before I was leaving to learn all the ins and outs of taking care of my fur babies and then put himself up in a hotel for the night before the sit date. The next day he came over in the morning to learn a few more details before I left. I could not have chosen a better house sitter for my 2nd house sit . David communicated with me daily, sent pictures and we spoke via facetime. My little guy was feeling sick when David started and with diligence, love and kindness he was able to get my little guy eating again and feeling better. I would invite David back into my home over and over again but I am pretty sure he is going to be in high demand. Thank you David for everything!

I cannot say enough good things about this place or its owners! Cheryl and her husband take such wonderful care of all of the dogs that go there. They know them all by name and treat each one like family. I know because I feel like they are my dog Pepper’s aunt and uncle! Between always sending the cutest photos of your dog throughout the day, having a ton of outdoor and indoor playtime, and just generally giving so much love and attention to your dog, there’s just no place better than this! I drove from New Smyrna several times a week to bring my dog here, and if I lived in Orlando, I would’ve driven from there. That’s how good they are! So many times, when I’d drop Pepper off to other daycares, she’d shake or just look very unhappy or nervous to be there. But every time I pulled up to drop her off to Small Paws, Pepper would start scratching at the car door excitedly, telling me to hurry up to she could get in as fast as possible! She’d leap out of my arms and into Cheryl’s most mornings, delighted to start the day there. I also had her board overnight there several times when I had to travel, and it relieved so much anxiety for me, just knowing that she was in such good hands. She loved it there so much and loved (and still loves!) the owners. We moved up north but anytime we’re in Florida, I plan to bring Pepper there - more for Pepper’s enjoyment than for my need for daycare! Thank you, Small Paws! You’re the VERY BEST and we wish you lots and lots of cute and bell behaved doggies 🥰🐾
A wonderful place to leave your pets. As with any pet owner I was always reluctant to board/kennel my dogs for numerous reasons. After meeting the wonderful people that work there and taking a walk around of the facility I was pretty confident my pets would be taken care of with lots of love and attention. There is plenty of room for outside and inside playtime with the other pets. Very clean and nice. They sent me 4+ pictures a day of my boys and they looked they were having more fun than I was on vacation. I enjoyed the photos so much! I would highly recommend Small Paws to anyone and everyone. Awesome facilities, staff and environment. Thanks from, Flea & Alamo
This place is one of the best things that has happened for me and my two furry kids! I leave them knowing that the owners really love and care for them and keep me constantly updated with photos and messages. If I could give it 100 stars I would!
Overall, I cannot recommend Small Paws Relax Inn highly enough for anyone seeking a trustworthy and caring environment for their dog. It’s clear that they prioritize the comfort of the pets in their care, and my dog truly felt at home during his stay. I will definitely be returning for future boarding needs!
Absolutely thrilled with Small Paws Relax Inn! Finally, there’s a happy haven dedicated to small dogs (& cats too)! My two pups, Sugar & Spice had a WONDERFUL stay & play at the Inn! Small Paws Relax Inn is clean, comfy & cozy, with amazing amenities. We truly appreciated the level of care given & the peace of mind you gave us from the regular updates. Thanks, Small Paws Relax Inn! We will be back fur sure! 🐶🐾❤️
Very clean and accommodating. This was a fantastic place for our babies while we were vacationing. Cheryl and her husband were so nice. They sent pictures and kept us updated which put us at ease. Our babies loved it! Would definitely reccomend for small dogs. Great environment!
Today was my dog's first day. I dropped him off around 8:30 AM and picked him up around 10 just for a trial visit. The owner is awesome and I could tell that she really loves dogs. When I arrived to pick him up , he was as happy as could be and I felt very secure with him being there. I feel very comfortable leaving him there again and trust me, I am probably one of the worst helicopter dog moms there is lol. I also wanted to mention that I was expecting the place to smell bad, because I know little dogs pee inside sometimes but, it smelled fantastic. I don't know how they do it but it's great. I'm so excited that I finally found a place that I can trust with my dogs. Thank you!! 🥰🥰🥰🙏🏻
I brought my Maltese, Delilah to this wonderful place. She had a blast. Cheryl was kind enough to send videos of Delilah having fun with the other dogs. It's for small dogs only, and it's great. They have a great outdoor play yard and Delilah was zooming around as fast as she could. She was tired when she came home, and slept through the evening. Can't wait to bring her back. The owners are wonderful and watch over the fur babies in their care. Thanks Cheryl and Shawn
Cheryl and Sean were wonderful caregivers for our dog when she was recovering from surgery. They kept in contact and I had updates and pictures. They went above and beyond to make her comfortable and to make me feel confident that she was getting the best care. I’m so thankful to them both for treating my baby like their own
This was the first time I have boarded my dogs and I was very nervous about it. Then to top it all off, a hurricane struck while I was gone. Cheryl and her staff took excellent care of my girls, despite the unusual circumstances. I got lots of pictures and they seemed very happy. The girls were in great shape when I got home. I was gone for 12 days. I highly recommend Small Paws Relax Inn.
I shopped around before I found Caring Hands. Yvonne’s setup, attention to detail, and warm atmosphere all made it an easy choice for me. I don’t trust just anyone with my Rottweiler, especially for a whole week, but Yvonne earned my trust and my recommendation.
For me they are friendly and reasonably priced… My dog would give daycare 5 bones and over night care 4 1/2 bones only because he enjoys a nice couch to relax and snore on !
Our sweet and hyper, 20 pound cattle dog has been boarding here since he was a pup (6-7 years). We rescued his sweet, water loving brother 5 months back. They are able to board together! Whether they board 2-3 days for a volleyball tourney or a full week due to travel, our pups are in good hands. We’ve gotten to know the owners, Aleatha and Eric, as an animal loving family with high standards. They’ve built a competent and professional support team and expanded their services over the years. Services now include boarding, grooming, obedience training and daycare. Although we teach our pups tricks at home, we look forward to booking obedience training next time we go out of state.
After the hurricane, we were displaced from our home. This put us in a tough and tight situation!! The owner was so great! She offered for both of my dogs to be groomed at no cost. We are very grateful!!
****UPDATE******** FOR********MY*******REVIEW! Recently, I had a conversation with Eric, the owner of A&E Pet Resort, following a bad review I posted. To my surprise, he apologized and informed me that he would be refunding both our dog's stay and my $1400 vet bills, as he believed it was the right thing to do. That refund total would have been $2500. I was impressed by his willingness to rectify the situation. I told him when I returned home I would update my review to reflect that but I wouldn't feel comfortable allowing my dogs back. He said that was fair. Since I am a snowbird and was out of town (which I told Eric), my husband informed me that a woman had called to inquire if we had received the check yet. I was out of town still and just returned home last night so I opened the check this morning. To my disappointment, the check was written for $1400.00, the exact amount of my vet bills. I promptly called and left a message for Eric to clarify that I was expecting a refund for the dog's stay as well, and that my vet bills actually exceeded $1400.00. The reason I didn't ask for the full vet bill amount is because I have dog insurance, so I didn't want to receive a double payment, I knew what I'd receive from them so I deducted that amount off. He didn't know that piece of information. Regrettably, instead of returning my call, Eric chose to reply in writing, accusing us of being liars. If Eric wishes to conduct business in this manner, that is his choice. However, it is important to note that he is the one being dishonest in this scenario. To substantiate my claims, I will be posting my vet bills as proof. I told the owner at my groomers this story since I had to cancel their appointment that week and I was told a similar story in regards to A&E by one of the groomers - she said never again. ************** *************************ORIGINAL REVIEW********************* I recently had the unfortunate experience of boarding my dogs at A&E Pet Resort, and I must say it was an absolute nightmare. Not only did my pets come home what appeared to be a parasite but they were also covered in feces, which is absolutely unacceptable. While we were bathing the feces off one dog my other dog showed signs of the same issues by going number one and two on the floor - she’s potty trained. There was nothing solid about what happened for a whole week. Sorry to put that mental picture in your head but it’s honestly putting it mildly. I brought them to the vet where they were treated for parasites, given fluids, and received antibiotics. I immediately called to express my concerns, however, the response I received was far from satisfactory. The manager, whom I spoke with, simply offered a half-hearted apology, claiming that she takes things "very seriously and the disinfect twice per day." Well, let me tell you, her words did nothing to alleviate the hell our family and dogs went through for over a week. There was a second trip back to the vet for my youngest dog which now totaled $1400 for both trips. I also want to point out that my all of my one of my dog’s paws were infected. I was told most likely from her stress licking. I understand it’s stressful to leave your dogs for even one day, but we are frequent travelers, she’s been boarded many times (other locations) and this has never happened. We paid for a bath for both dogs yet came back in that state. There was absolutely no way anyone could have over looked the state they were in. I told the manager a phone call would’ve been nice - she agreed. I could have made other arrangements had I known. Sadly, my dogs unfortunate experience with the negligence, and dismissive response from the manager make it clear that A&E Pet Resort is simply not a reliable or trustworthy place for me to leave my pets again.
I am not sure there are enough words to say how extremely fabulous a&e pet resort is. From the moment I called to gather information, the staff was so friendly and very informative. I will say that I would have been annoyed with myself for how often I called in the week leading up to our pets stay, but the staff remained friendly and did not seem annoyed one bit. My husband and I were very thankful to have such caring staff to take care of our boy Oakley. Dee, the trainer, was the most comforting and sweetest person. She sent updates with pictures/videos daily which eased our minds. On day of pickup, she spent more than the time allotted going over what she taught that week. We are very grateful for all the staff working there, but would like to recognize Jessica, Hayley, Michelle, and Dee for their outstanding customer service. Thank you for everything! Would recommend this pet resort to anyone!
Let’s talk about Training with Dee and Caroline! My almost 2 year old pup did the board and train with these ladies. Apollo had some good training in the past, but needed some reminders and some serious training on focusing and obedience. I’ve never been able to get him to lay down or “place” and lately he wouldn’t even go near his crate. He’s doing amazing now thanks to these loving and dedicated ladies! They worked with him and loved on him every day for 10 days! I’m so proud! But that’s not all! They take the time to educate me as well. They had me practice before I would leave. They explained why and how things needed to be done. I’ve learned so much in just the past 10 days! Top notch training and top notch people who seriously LOVE our pets! As far as A&E Pet Resort goes - These are some of the most loving, kind people on the planet! Always welcome us with a smile and even a hug! They’re not just a business, they’re like a family!
Never again - Read ALL their reviews. A&E is a local marketing powerhouse. They advertise all over social media, and no doubt have happy customers that sing their praises. We used to be one of them. However, our most recent boarding with them and how it was handled was completely unacceptable. We trusted our 2 dogs with them for 3 nights in July since they have been to daycare a few times and done well, and have family pets that are (were)regulars there. When we got them home after our return and they calmed down from the excitement of finally being back home I noticed one of the dogs had fluid filled edema on both of her back legs, and that where she had calluses on her front legs, they had become raw and itchy, and she had lost a good amount of hair around them. She also had a sore in between her paw pad on one of her front feet. She refused to eat that night. She's a true lab in every sense and eats everything in sight, so this was very abnormal. Our GSP had not stopped itching since he came home and had a raw spot on his nose and his entire underside was bumpy and red. 2 days later we took them to the vet because they had not made any improvement. Our labs nose had become swollen, itchy, and she rubbed it until it bled trying to itch it. She still would not eat, and her energy level was absolutely zero, also very unlike her. Vet suggested they were exposed to something, but was not able to sayt exactly what. $340 later we had antibiotics and steroids for both dogs. I sent an email to the address listed on their website. Knowing how active they are online, I expected a fairly quick response. However, nearly 2 weeks later there has been no response. My email was simply to inform them of the situation in the hopes that they could investigate the issue and prevent other dogs from getting into this situation. I did not ask for a refund, I was not rude. I simply wanted them to have the info since, at the time and based on how they portray themselves, I believed they wanted what would be best for the animals in their care. The best case scenario here is that they missed the signs of what was happening. If that's the case a simple "we're very sorry this happened and let us look into it" would've sufficed. They said they were fine and ate all their food while there. I'm sure they seemed fine in that environment. They love being around people and other dogs so there was plenty of excitement and adrenaline flowing. With no response but plenty of positive marketing going on, I simply replied to one of their Facebook posts asking for someone to read the email and respond. Instead, I received a snarky reply of "we're sorry you feel they had a bad experience.....". It's not that I FELT that they had a bad experience. They came home with sores and infection. Literal verifiable proof that their stay was a "bad experience". Then they deleted the post and completely blocked me. After reading their reviews it seems this is certainly not the only time that dogs in their care are returned with skin infections and generally worse off than when they were dropped off. They are unable to take ownership of any negative issue or handle criticism without trying to place the blame back on the pet owner, or ignore it all together. They've grown quite a bit and it seems maybe gotten too big for their own good. The thing that got me the most though, is that not once after they were made aware of the issue and responded in that Facebook post, did they ask about how the dogs were doing. That says a lot to me.......
It is so nerve-wracking, leaving your fur baby in the care of strangers. However, with the excellent care my pup got while at A&E Pet Resort, I will be able to travel for work and be assured that she is getting the best quality care!
We cannot recommend Dee enough for canine training ! Dee trained our one year old puppy Maui, after battling impulse control and pulling on the leash when we walk, for the last year. We are amazed at the progress she has made in a week. Thank you again, Dee, for your vast knowledge of canine behavior training, and your professionalism.
The best kennel my pups have ever stayed at! We leave our dogs there every time we go out of town. The owners, Eric and Aletha, are the sweetest people and the rest of their crew are awesome with all of our dogs. Absolutely love them and would recommend them over and over. :)
My husband and I recently got a 9 month old black Labrador pup and she is so amazing but was a little timid and lacked confidence. So my husband did some research and found The Bed N Barkfest for training. We signed Remi up and she completed her two weeks of training and did great! We got picture and video updates everyday, instructional videos for us to use the training at home and a packet with everything we needed to know. Heather and Abby took Remi on field trips to ensure that Remi was able to complete all the commands in different environments and face stressors with confidence, and when she wasn’t in training she got to socialize and play with all the other pups there. Remi did great and enjoyed going everyday! She is now a more confident pup and listens so well, we have learned a lot also and will continue her training at home! We are so glad we did it!
We came from out of town for a last minute trip with various changes to the itinerary and this facility and staff were more than accommodating. It’s clear how much the staff enjoy our pets and their well being as seen by their effective time management and personalized time with each dog individually as well as in a group setting. Continuous communication is kept with the owners through pictures, videos, and messaging through their portal online. My pup normally has terrible separation anxiety, but didn’t even look back when I dropped him off. And the training I signed up for was not only effective but also practical for a home setting environment with video tutorial for the owners to understand the commands. This isn’t your typical kennel boarding system, it’s quite the opposite. Hank will be back :)
We brought our 3 year old pit mix for play n train with Heather, and it was amazing! He already knew basic commands but needed improvement with listening on the first command, walking on a leash without pulling, socialization, not jumping on people when he greets them, etc. At play n train he had the opportunity to interact with other dogs and do training throughout the day + go on field trips to get comfortable in dog friendly stores. One of my favorite parts of the program was that everyday I received pictures and training videos to see his progress! It’s been two weeks and we’ve already seen so much improvement. After the “training handover” now I know the best approach and commands too. We all learned so much and now I look forward to using Bed N’ Barkfest for doggy daycare, boarding, and grooming!
Took our dogs here for training and love the experience. We also frequent their boarding services, and always have a pleasant experience. Heather and the gang really take an interest in the needs of the pups and they really know how to care for them.
My two standard poodles had a blast at daycare this week. They played and played and Heather took so many pictures of them and all the dogs and sent them to us at the end of the day. Fun! Heather and her team seem to really enjoy the pets in their care and do a great job with them. Dogs came home pooped out...will definitely be going back!
Heather and her team are absolutely THE best with my pup. She loves everyone there and I feel safe boarding her at Bed N Barkfest! Heather sends this worried mama pics while my little girl is there, which is very much appreciated! Heather has trained my girl twice, traditional training and off leash training and I couldn't be happier with the results. Heather came to my house to refresh both me and my dog. The facilities are clean and fun for our furry babies. I am well aware that there are several other options in NSB for daycare and boarding but I will continue to send her there as I know she will be loved and well cared for.
We've been using Bed N Barkfest for our boston terrier puppy, Lola, since she was a little over 3 months old and we are SO HAPPY with Heather and all of the staff. Lola loves getting dropped off at daycare, smothers everyone with love, plays hard all day, and comes home a very tired and happy puppy. The interaction with so many dogs from a young age has made her great with all kinds of dogs. The photos we get totally make our day, too! We'll be using Heather for more training with Lola really soon and she will have an overnight stay in the near future. We trust them, love the ease of pick-up/drop-off, and feel like Lola is in wonderful hands when she can't be with us.
My mini schnauzer loves this place and the young trainers. He gets so excited when I drop him off so I know he is well treated. I highly recommend Heather, Abby and all the staff.
Caspers first stay at the Bed N Barkfest was AMAZING!! The staff was extremely helpful knowledgeable and easy to get in touch with. Casper was only supposed to stay for 2 nights but I couldn’t make it back in time and was able to switch him to an extra night with no issues. The staff always kept me up to date with how his stay was going and pictures of him with his new friends. I also chose to have him groomed while he was there and the results speak for themselves. Casper will be having another play date and spa day with his new friends soon.
Veda's first doggie daycare experience was this week and it's been amazing! Veda LOVES Bed N' Barkfest!! I love that they text me pics of Veda with her new friends each time she's there! 💜 Thanks, Heather and team for taking such good care of her! …
Teresa Birge is the quintessential lover of dogs! From the moment she walked into our home for the meet and great, we knew she had the Midas touch. We have left our Springer Spaniel and American Foxhound with Teresa several times. Each time has been a very special time because she passed out love to them like cookies. They love their Auntie Teresa!
Teresa is FANTASTIC!!! I highly recommend her. You will not find any one more caring, trustworthy, and reliable for your fur babies. My husband and I were out-of-town for a week. We did not feel comfortable boarding our dogs and decided to find an in-home pet sitter. Teresa came highly recommended. She came to our house twice before we left on our trip to sit and play with the dogs. That gave us great comfort knowing they were going to be in EXCELLENT hands. We are very thankful for Teresa and will only use her in the future. Daytona Canines Pet Sitting Service is a wonderful asset to the Daytona community. Call her today!! Susan V , Daytona Beach, Florida
Teresa was absolutely incredible with our 2 miniature dachshunds! She sent many photos and videos throughout the day to keep us posted with how our dogs were doing. She was so kind on the phone and in person, and really made it an easy decision when it came time to pick a pet sitter for the day and overnight! Highly recommend Daytona Canines Pet Sitting and Teresa to anyone in the area looking for a great, loving, caring pet sitter!
You will not find a better petsitter than Teresa! She is just wonderful and is so loving and caring. She treated our dogs like they were hers, with hugs and kisses and gentle kindness. She sent us pictures and updates four times a day, and kept a daily log of their activities including outdoor play, potty regularity, eating habits, and indoor fun. We could tell that our two dogs were happy, healthy, and well-cared for, and that allowed us to have a worry-free vacation. I highly recommend her if you need a petsitter, she is simply the best.
Theresa and her husband are wonderful! My dogs have been staying for the day or an overnight stay for over a year now. She also has come to my home to walk them when I have been away. My dogs love going to stay at their home. I feel assured knowing they are in good hands. She really cares. She sends pics to update you while you are away, and takes great care of my fur babies when I am gone. One of my two dogs are skiddish around new people, she offered to meet her before the first stay just so she would be more comfortable the first time I left. It definitely helped, now both of my dogs love it when they go to their home. I can not say enough great things about them, thank you so much for all that you do!
Teresa is an absolutely lovely lady and my Bear came home a happy pup. 100% would recommend her to anyone that needs their dog to be sat. She sends picture updates if the dogs will calm down enough and genuinely cares about other people's pets. Such a great woman.
I have been using Teresa’s services for quite some time now. Whether it is scheduled or calling her last minute (which I’m notorious for) she is always there for my girls. They LOVE her. Teresa and/or her husband don’t just come over, let them out and leave. They spend time with them and play with them, always sends pictures, making sure their food and water are topped off. I know they are in good hands and would recommend her to anyone. She loves all her fur babies. Sandy
What a wonderful, dog loving person Teresa is! We were in town for the races and realized our little dachshund was not happy being left alone. Teresa came and stayed with him, taking him on walks and sent us photos of him while we were away. We could not be happier! She is awesome and we will definitely be using her again. She is the best sitter we have ever had!! Thanks again Teresa!!!❤❤
My dogs love Teresa! She plays with them, she loves on them and she even sleeps with them! I never have to worry about leaving them when Teresa is caring for them. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, caring service.
Theresa is great with animals, she sent daily pictures and kept me well informed! Our 4 cats loved her... Will definitely use her services again in the future. She is very reasonable, cost wise, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent fur-baby sitter!
I could not say enough about how caring and helpful everyone is here. Being new to Florida with two large puppies Don and his staff took wonderful care of them last minute for the entire weekend. When I picked my boys up they were happy and exhausted from all the fun they had on there weekend getaway. We will definitely be back!
I would never take my dog to this facility or any other animal for that matter. From what I was told, it is not safe and the management does not care about the well-being of your animal. If you’re looking for a place to board your dog, I would probably look elsewhere avoid this place at all cost unless you want to be stuck with an injured animal and a large vet bill
My dog loves it here! We haven't been able to go In the past week and a half, and it is so obvious how much my dog misses it! We will be back very very soon! My dog is very timid with other dogs and can get a little snippy. They had him playing with other dogs within a couple hours of me dropping him off! Amazing progress! The trainer Crystal is so fantastic with the dogs! Loki is very much looking forward to making it back there, and soon enough bringing his new brother with him!
Several of my customers use them and the dogs have a great time. They do a great job of making sure all of the dogs have a positive experience, even the introverted ones.
I took Mr Bear here for dog behavior classes. Bear has great progress in the past few weeks. He’s a two year old American bulldog. He worked on leash training, and leaving it for playing ball. The trainers were great. I highly recommend checking them out if you need some help with your pups. Also I used them for overnight boarding. My dog had so much fun. Bear is stoked to come back!
Donald, Lois, Crystal, Beth, Lola and all the staff at Dog Dayz Inn treat each and every pet like their own. We have brought our family dogs and cats here for 5+ years. The dogs have come for daycare as well as extended over night stays. My diabetic cat stayed with them while we went on vacation too. Off leash, doggie pools, ample shade and plenty of pasture to run. Dogs are separated according to size and demeanor. Brought inside to AC for cooling down time on hot days & sheltered during storms. Complete attention is given to the pets at all times. After a sweaty fun day, you can opt for bath time for a reasonable fee. Professional grooming is available as well. My mastiff would move in if I let him.
Highly recommend this place. It's a Dog Sanctuary there, and the staff seems to truly love the animals. This place came highly recommended to me and I see why. Thank you guys for taking care of Tinkerbell and Tank!
I finally stopped by to check this place out. I was very pleased with what I saw, as well as the friendly and helpful person who greeted me. We have not, as yet left our dogs there. But based on my experience, and the recommendations of others, I'm sure all will be well. Everything looked to be clean and safe. Dogs are segregated by size, with more than adequate space to enjoy a day here. I'm anxious to see how my dogs reaction to the place. They both love people and other dogs, so I expect a good outcome.
Best place for my four legged loved one!!... Other than home. " Moose", my little love nibble, knows when we're getting close and starts directing traffic from the back seat of the car! He gets so excited to go there. Then at the end of the day when I pick him up he is tired and has had a good day of play and is positive in responses to me. When he gets home he usually eats his dinner and is down for the count! I had to go into the hospital and so I needed overnight stays for my Moose. They took the best of care. They also do wonderful grooming. So I had them give moose a bath prior to me picking him up. It was a nice reunion for sure! I find the fees are very reasonable and like I said as long as my four-legged baby is happy so am I.
I took my Boston terrier there and she loved it! The staff is very nice and very attentive to all the dogs,it’s very clean outside where the dogs run and inside the office area. Our dog stayed there twice and both times I picked her up she acted like she was home relaxed yet excited! I will definitely take her anytime I need grooming, daycare or boarding!
We have been boarding with A Place for pets for many years. Best feeling to know your pet is being well taking care of. I highly recomend.
Absolutely feel safe boarding my dog there. Very friendly staff very clean facility.. they were very thorough on the intake questions to make sure all of his needs were met. And to top it off he received a bath before coming home. Just a awesome environment for any fur baby
Crystal & Gwen were amazing! Our dog had a few 'day care' visits, before a great stay this past week. Thank you for taking such good care of our Bella :)
Edit to update that crystal truly loves animals, you have to give them a call to really get the full experience of how a boarding place should take care if your fur babies. They continue to amaze me on how much they care!!! My pets love this place and the owner Crystal and Gwen. They always take sick good care of them.
For several years, now, we've always taken our dogs here for boarding. They're amazing and my boy is always so excited to go there! I can always tell that he's loved, and that he loves them. That peace of mind is priceless! We've added a parrot to our family and boarded him this time as well. There was a price misunderstanding, and the owner called me personally to clear everything up. She was extremely helpful, courteous, and professional. I highly recommend them for any pet family member, without hesitation!
We've been taking our dog to this kennel for 4 years. Good people that really care for your pet. Our dog dances and howls with joy when she arrives. Highly recommend and great price for the exceptional care provided. Wouldn't ever consider another place for our dog.
They do a great job taking care of my dog Lola. She is happy to stay for a few days when I have to go out of town and is always in good spirits when I pick her up. They really show a lot of love and attention to all the animals.
Take my dog for day care. Gives him a chance to play with other dogs for the entire day. If I go to a dog park there may not be any other dogs. The place is spotless inside and large grass area to play. Not open every day. I take my dog every thursday.
Place for Pets provides peace of mind for me, knowing my dog is safe and well cared for. Personalized attention that goes above and beyond makes Place for Pets our go to for daycare and boarding. My dog loves the staff and comes home tired and happy!
Had a dog that has stayed here multiple times. He always comes back upset, scared and won't eat his food. My little sister had also witnessed them being rude to my dog and pulling him across the floor and making mean comments when she came to pick him up, not realizing that she could see them. He has come home with Kennel Cough and bumps on his face. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt because he is a young and energetic dog, which can sometimes be a lot to handle. After our last visit we are questions our return.
Both of my pups, Roadie & Rio, have been going to NSB Pet Resort for well over a year now. They go to daycare once weekly & when we are out of town on vacation we also board them there. All i can say is that i can barely get the car door open fast enough for them to run straight to the gate to be let into the play yard!! They love playing with all of their friends & it has really been key to making sure we have friendly, social dogs. Very grateful for the staff for always treating my babies like their own. We have tried other daycares/boarding in the area and the dogs would always come home so dirty and gross, but never at NSB pet resort. I cannot say enough good things about the owner & the staff. If you are looking for a daycare/boarding for your fur babies, this is the place!!!
We have been sending our goldendoodle to NSB Pet Resort for over a year. We do daycare twice a week and we’ve boarded him while on vacation. He KNOWS what days he goes to daycare and is an absolute crazy dog before we get in the car. He comes home exhausted those days and enjoys all the love he gets from the staff. We’ve participated in their fundraisers for local charities and love the extras (like special pictures) that come home with him. Both times that we’ve picked him up from boarding he has not wanted to leave; he acted like he didn’t even know us lol! We would highly recommend NSB Pet Resort!
I can’t say enough wonderful things about NSB Pet Resort! Riley just loves to go and you can tell how much he loves it by the way he is so excited when we get his “school” leash out to how he can’t sit still when he gets in their driveway to his jumping and wagging of his tail when he sees any of the girls! Every employee truly cares about the dogs and do so much to make things so fun for them all! Seeing the pictures they post daily shows how happy all of the dogs are! Riley is always “smiling” ❤️ We will never leave our baby anywhere else!
Hines, our 7 month mini golden doodle went to his first kennel stay last weekend- we first tried a day care visit which went very well- we picked Hines up after a 5 day visit- couldn’t have gone better! Pets let you know if their stay was enjoyable or not so good- staff is attentive to your requests- We’re reserving a spot during the Christmas holiday- your pet is in good hands!!
We love NSB Pet Resort, Buster & Ruby love it too! The staff is great and the facility is always clean. At Doggie Daycare they provide so many fun activities throughout the day and post lots of pics on social media
My baby girl Raleigh has been going to NSB Pet Resort since it opened and she has the time of her life. She has met so many friends and she loves everybody that works there so much.
The NSB Pet Resort staff is amazing. Everyone on staff takes great care of my sheepies. Great daycare and boarding facility. They offer fun monthly events and annual birthday celebrations! Buddy & Bella highly recommend NSB Pet Resort!
We absolutely love NSB Pet Resort. When we rescued our hound mix Penny, we knew she needed friends, so we toured NSB Pet Resort. We knew from that day that Penny would become part of their fur family. She looks forward to going to doggy daycare. It’s like she knows which days she goes because she sits in front of her leash waiting. I also love that they have fundraisers for the animal shelters, toys for tots and other causes. The staff there is wonderful, each and every one of them. You can see how much they love all the dogs in their care. I couldn’t imagine Penny being anywhere else.
Bo just had a wonderful 10-day stay at NSB Pet Resort, and everything went really well. He has been going there ever since they opened - both daycare and boarding - but this was his longest stay. The team made sure we were comfortable at drop-off, and did a great job posting pictures throughout the week that showed us what a great time he was having. I was particularly happy to see him enjoying the pool :). Thank you, NSB Pet Resort, for taking such great care of our fur-baby!
We went to 3 different pet daycares and we weren’t comfortable leaving our dog with any of them. Finally when NSB Pet Resort opened we figured we would try them. Well needless to say we found a great one. Jackson goes there twice a week and loves it. The staff is great, the owner is always available to talk to and the facility is beautiful, pet friendly and clean. If you are looking for a place that your fur baby will be taken care of NSB Pet Resort is where you need to go.
We recently moved to the New Smyrna Beach area and feel so blessed to have found Bark n Purr Kennels for our 10 year old Rottie. The staff is wonderful, giving great attention and care to their boarders. The grounds and facility are immaculately kept. We recommend them wholeheartedly !
Our pups Aurora and Tatum had the best time!!! They stayed for about a week and this is the first time we picked them up from boarding and they weren’t acting weird!! They had a blast and Bark N Purr Kennels even bathed them before we picked them up!! Most amazing experience and we will be back!!!
Just boarded my pug at Bark N Purr kennels for the last week and he didn't want to come back home with me! Matt the new owner took me on a tour of the facilities and made sure my dog had everything he needed and more. The have 2 huge yards for the dogs and I especially loves the runs with the outside area. I follow the instagram account and they posted pictures of the dogs each day which I thought was a lovely touch. It was great to see my dog happy and having fun whilst I was on vacation. It was a bargain price for the area without reducing the care and attention they receive. I think my dog is looking forward to my next trip so he can spend another week at Bark N Purr! Thank you Matt and Bailey!
I had my border collie boarded for 5 days.. I would like to give this place another chance but honestly I’m unsure I would feel comfortable doing that. I wanted to believe this place was nice, it’s affordable and is on a nice property.. that’s about it.. the company lacks communication and reliability. I called multiple times before tropical storm Debbie came by and no one answered the phone, so I was completely upset for a couple of days not knowing if my dog would be okay..I called and called before and after and no one picked up the phone, the only time I got someone to answer was after I called 5 times and was 10 minutes away..I had finally got an answer, I asked for the total of boarding and she told me $133 on the phone. Got to the place and no one was at the desk, it said to call if no one was there, called three times, waited about 10-15 minutes before anyone came to the desk. This guy came to the desk, asked how long we were waiting we told him 10-15 minutes and then he proceeded to say “oh that’s not that bad”. He then told us a different total which was more than what I was told. The guy didn’t argue with me and fixed it which honestly I appreciated. Other than that.. I don’t know what happened, we requested 5-6 days of boarding and 3 frozen kongs(at check in) but it appears she only got one, I didn’t request a bath or trim but she ended up smelling like she got a bath and also got a trim. ( I dont mind but it wasn’t expected, I don’t let other people groom my dog, except for the groomer I have her set up with. She was due for a groom after we got back..) When we picked her up she has been acting absolutely crazy, and flinches when we go to pet her, nipping at us.. she isn’t the same.. I don’t know what happened but when we got her back she was has been different since. It’s unfortunate, but I’d have to see major improvements for me to come back.
Thank you to all the staff for taking great care of our greyhound Fancy Pants. Special thanks to Rachel who went the extra mile to sit with our nervous doggy. This a wonderful place that you can trust to take care of your canine family member. Thanks again everyone!
Booked here last minute and they accommodated. We chose this place because of the great rating and reviews. Great service and communication when i had questions. Great prices. Already requested booking there again in December.
The owner, and employees of Bark N Purr Kennels have always come through for us. They go above and beyond to accommodate our boys Bear and Shadow. I wouldn’t trust any one else with our boys. We recently have had to use their services again due to a home renovation. Needing longer stays with last minute notice. The staff have gone out of their way to help us mange the care of our boys, and we are so grateful. Larissa & Tyler thank you for looking out for us and our boys Bear and Shadow. Thank you to the owner as well for allowing us to have peace of mind while separated from our boys for these long stretches of time. My husband Bill & I thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
Just boarded Lola here for the second time & both stays were great experiences. Lola was calm & happy when she returned to us. I loved the photo they posted of her on Facebook showing she was having a great time during her stay.
Bark N Purr Kennels is fantastic! Brooke and the rest of the staff always take great care of our quirky Daisy doodle! Brooke takes the time to play with Daisy and since she can be shy, Brooke goes the extra mile to make sure our pup is comfortable and happy 😊 We love Bark N Purr! …
I'm adding to my review from last year because within the past year Bark N Purr came under new ownership. The new owners are as wonderful as the previous owners. We drive almost an hour to take our dog there. Mario is especially attentive and understands it's not always easy to leave our 4-legged family behind. I highly recommend Bark N Purr. Paula and the guys are great. We've been taking our dogs here for boarding for more than four years. Paula also does a great job with grooming. I highly recommend Bark n Purr.
Update: As always the staff at Ormond Beach goes out of their way to take care of our girls Rosey & Ruby! Ruby even had a birthday party! 🥰 Thankful to have Pet Paradise to take care of our pups Rosey and Ruby when we are away or busy for a day. They LOVE coming here for daycare and playing with all the other pups. And the staff is so loving and caring! They also board when we are away and the staff has been great keeping in touch with us when necessary (one of them had a little tummy issue). We trust Pet Paradise to take great care of our babies.
Our boy literally loves Pet Paradise. Not only has he made the best friends to play with - but he loves the humans (employees) that always play with him & show him so much love. We get half a mile away & he goes nuts because he’s so excited to spend time there. They treat him like a total prince & are always so attentive to anything needed. We recommend Pet Paradise in Ormond to all of our fellow dog parent friends!
My dogs are on medicine now for respiratory sickness after staying here. They are all sick. 2 of my 3 dogs stayed here (the 3rd came with us on our trip) Saturday 8/3 1pm to Monday 8/5 10 am when I picked them up. Monday night when I picked them up, my most stressed dog who had never been kenneled before started coughing. Then my older girl. And now, the 3rd dog a few days later that did not even stay at Pet Paradise is coughing. Everyone was always polite on the phone. When I asked for my girls to be put in the same run I was assured my anxiety first time stay dog was doing fine but it stressed her out so much. Vet visit this Tuesday, already started meds yesterday 8/9 thanks to my awesome vet. I won’t get a refund from Pet Paradise until they see the vet visit and approve that its from the stay. Unfortunately I won’t stay here again because I feel like the cleaning practice is part of the problem. I could see the vent in the kennel in the front waiting room was black with dirt and cleanliness is what fights sickness. There’s no sound allowed but you can see the dogs bodies tightening when they cough.
My miniature Australian Shepherd, Valentina, was comfortable with the staff, and that was most important. She practically pranced out of the door after her grooming session with Ami, which means she was also quite pleased with the results.
Trust is the main reason I love Pet Paradise . I know Lucy loves the day care program and while she is there the grooming. Lucy is a rescue and does not trust many people. She does Trust Pet Paradise and gets so excited when we turn the corner. Trust is the best thing when leaving a loved one.
Our dogs, Olive and Gillian, seem happy entering the building. More than one staff member greeted them by name with smiles. They seemed happy with staff when we picked them up. No weight loss. Thirsty but in no way seeming dehydrated. When they are safe and happy then we are happy. Thank you!
I reserved my dog boarding in this location. My dog is always with us so she get a lot of anxiety or get nervous if I left her in a place, last time I left her in Palm Coast, but look it was full. The person that did my checking was with this bad vibe, she started complaining for my dog behavior, she took the dog with her for 2 minutes an then came back with her and told I cannot take her because she bite me which is not true. She didn't tried anything with the dog, but went to their system and put a note that they were not able to take her, bad behavior. I did a reservation in Saint Augustine and I went for the check in the guy there told me about a note in the system because what happened here( so she labeled my dog as a bad one) the guy took the dog with him and 5 minutes later came and told me she is OK, she was nervous and we put the tag. I finished the check-in and she stayed there for 6 days. If you work with animals you know that not all the animals are the same, why not give her time to relax little bit and then try, no she didn't want that dog there, but my dog stayed in the Saint Augustine location without any problem.
Sydney loves getting to come to camp and play with all of her friends! She is quite a reactive pup when it comes to people, but she loves every single staff member that works here. We have boarded her as well, and we love getting the updates about her day and seeing photos of her being her stinky little self. The last time we boarded Sydney, we had her groomed before we picked her up and she smelled amazing for days!!! Getting to watch the her on the cameras is so cute and fun and we love knowing she’s having a blast there.
This was my senior dog's first time staying here. The staff made me feel very comfortable with leaving her in their care. The place is clean with no odor. Highly recommend. I'll be booking her another stay soon.
I know this review is long but please read before booking. I wanted pet paradise to be a good spot for my dog and tried THREE times. We will not be going back. *First experience - Got a $500 respiratory infection, limping, and scabs on his face. I called a few times to see how he was doing and they kept telling me everything was going great. When I picked him up however, he had a few scabs on his face and they said it was from him playing in the pool. Understandable. When I got him back home, he was limping and had this awful wet cough and it went on for a couple days. I took him to the vet ($499 later), they gave him antibiotics, and a few other things. They said it was either kennel cough or he aspirated water and might have an infection, and that he probably sprained his ankle from running. Aside from the injuries, his food anxiety came back. He had this as a puppy and wouldn't eat unless I was touching his back. He would only eat about half his food (typically eats all of it within a few minutes), and would only eat if I was around. Makes me wonder how often they actually checked on him. *Second experience - Drop off nightmare & 2 of 6 food bags coming back? I made a reservation for a Friday lunch drop off on Monday. Got a confirmation call a few days later. When I went to drop him off, I was told they couldn't take him back because a vaccine had expired. You don't think this could have been brought up on the confirmation call? I was polite and asked the latest I could drop him off I now had to make an appointment and get him in last minute with the vet. I got it figured out and dropped him off. When I picked him up, I got his bag back and didn't really check until I got home. He was supposed to have 6 meals during his stay. They are also supposed to add water to the food and this is something I asked if they even did before requesting it. So I'm a little confused why 2 bags of food came back dry. I didn't call about it, just figured I would ask next time. *Third experience - Their computers apparently shut down and are unable to do their job after 5. I received a called at 4:56 and asked what time I would be there. I told them GPS says 9 minutes away (5:04 arrival) and was told they close at 5 on Sunday. I apologized and said I would be there as soon as possible and that I thought they closed at 7. The lady on the phone told me their computer "shuts down" and they will not be able to check him in after 5. I asked why she couldn't keep the computer running and she just said again that it shuts down and she can't do anything about it. I asked if they could take him and check him in the following morning and they said that was against policy (I get that). I was receiving no help or solution from her except, "you can try the place down the street" & "you could drop him off tomorrow when we open at 6:30". I said multiple times that my flight was 7:30 in Orlando and I would already be at the airport. She also said they wouldn't be able to do an early check in fee either because "the computers are down". It was 5:02 at this point and I said, "so there is no way to check him in right now?" and she said no. So I told her to go ahead and cancel my reservation for the entire week. And wouldn't you know, I got an email at 5:06 for the cancellation. Guess the computers were actually working. Interesting.
Ashley has watched Rex for 2 years now & counting (since we've moved to FL). That was the best decision I've ever made!! I cannot recommend Central Florida Complete Critter Care enough!! Ashley & her team have gone ABOVE & BEYOND!! Not only have I found someone that loves my dog more than me, but have also found someone that provides MORE loving care & attention for him too!! We are BOTH so grateful that we found Central Florida Complete Critter Care & you will too!!
I have peace of mind when Ashley comes to take care of Zeeva. & Bryson. She tells me about the visit and sends several photos so I can see how they are. I HIGHLY recommend Central Florida Complete Care, Pet Sitting and Dog Walking.
I highly recommend Ashley & her mom with Central Florida Complete Critter Care, Pet Sitting and Walking! Our two cats Kahn and Egon love when they come by and give them all the pets and love while we are away. The updates and multiple photos we receive help put us at ease that our cats are in great hands! Thank you for always going above and beyond for our babies!
We used this company to look after our 3 cats in our home while we traveled out of state for a week. Their website was very easy to use to provide details about our cats and instructions on how to care for them. I was also able to request our desired dates for catsitting and pay our invoice through the website. Ashley did a great job caring for our pets and sent us daily updates through text. Our cats are very shy but she was still able to take pictures of them to send us, which gave me peace of mind that they were doing well. We have an unusual setup at home with specific instructions on how to feed the cats, and Ashley did everything perfectly. She also brought in the mail for us and kept feeding and litter areas clean. This company and Ashley are spectacular and I would 100% trust them with my home and fur babies again. If you live in the area, I would highly recommend using this service to care for your pets for any needs.
Great communication, pictures, and follow up including phone app so you know when they are with your pets. A1 care from a family company who are trustworthy animal loving people who care for your pet. I have scheduled and used their expertise pet sitting, feeding and walking services since Oct 2022 and they always make sure they can calendar you in so your pets are well taken care of. Always care, give time, feeding and loving to our doodle, lab and poodle. Thank you!
I feel very comfortable going out of town knowing my fur babies will be well cared for. Ashley is caring and let's me know j how they're doing with pictures and video. I am very happy with their service!
Ashley and Anna were so good to our cats while we were on vacation. Our little "kiddos" got the loving care they needed and were able to be comfortable at home and not lonely. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!
This is a fantastic company with loving and caring professionals that treat your pets with love. They are very reliable, and their communication is top notch. You don't have to worry about your pet being in good hands. If I could give them 10 stars I would.
Ashley and her team are amazing! Being able to leave our pets in the comfort of their own home was a top priority when we went on vacation. After meeting Ashley and her team we knew they were the ones to help us out. We so appreciated them sending us pictures and videos of our pets during each visit. If you need this service, look no further! They are the “angels” you need to save the day! We will definitely be using their services again in the future!
I can’t thank Kelly and her team enough for being our pet sitters when we are out of town! We have used them twice and they have been there for us and our pups! Their communication is amazing and you get lots of updates with pictures and videos. Our last request was a few days before leaving and Ashley was there to take on 5 animals for us. We are so thankful!
