I could not recommend Chris enough. He went above and beyond for Millie, I received daily updates and consider Chris a friend now. Millie came back more confident and knowing my dog as I do, I can tell she had a better holiday than me. I cannot wait to use Chris’s services again, honestly couldn’t recommend enough. The quality of his services is priceless.

Chris and Norfolk Home Dog Boarding provided excellent care and attention for our elderly Clumber Spaniel, Hazel. The boarding is home from home and Chris provided super care and attention for Hazel's medical needs. We were so pleased to find NHDB and would have no hesitation in recommending them. Hazel enjoyed her 'holidays' with Chris and Ruth over the summer of 2022 but has now sadly left us. Thanks again for all you did for Hazel.

Absolutely fantastic! Loki loves ‘going on holiday’ with Chris! And I love knowing that my boy is in good hands, has fantastic walks to lots of different locations, get regular updates whilst I’m away and generally have a very happy (and sleepy) hound to come back to! Chris at Home Dog Boarding is quite literally a life savor! My relatives in Kings Lynn have 2 standard poodles who they love more than life itself. When they had to go to the hospital with an emergency, I googled and found and cold called Chris at 6am from the US to ask if he could possibly watch their dogs for a few hours or days (TBD). Not only did he say yes, but he made it to their house within 30 minutes of my call, brought the dogs to his home, made 2 visits to their veterinarian to pick up meds and get instructions (one of their pups has seizures), and is keeping them for 5 days! His stepping up in the clutch enabled my family to prioritize their health without worrying about their beloved dogs, and prevented the dogs from any harm from being left alone. Chris is a gem, I’ve spoken to him several times and he has been beyond responsive, compassionate, responsible, and kind. I honestly can’t find the words to thank him right now! ( incidentally, we live in the United States and I have two dogs ourselves, whom we leave in the care of others when we travel. It’s very difficult to find trustworthy, dependable, compassionate folls who will love and take care of your dogs as you do. Chris is a gem to be treasured by any who need assistance with their dogs in the Kings Lynn area.

Would never take my Labrador any where else. Chris is a top man who contantly reassures you and keeps you up to date when you leave your pet with him. My lab is always happy to stay and always looks happy when I pick him up.

Charlie my labrador, loves his time here and I am really grateful to Chris for looking after him so well for over 5 years now. When I am away I can totally relax knowing Charlie is happy and in safe hands.

Lied about having and giving me kc register papers, poorly kept animals and dogs, doesnt show you the conditions the animals are kept in and 0 after care they only care about money and not animals health or welfare. Should be ashamed, clean the front of the house even the cats are sleeping in rubbish.

Very friendly staff, lovely place, newly done up. Clean kennels. nice spacious area for them to run around with a few exercise equipment too. My dogs have been in for a groom and also used the kennels too. Very happy with both services. Would definitely be using in the future again.

We have had Rosie for about 2 months, a rescue collie cross. We've been fortunate enough to have found Country Kennels where Rosie has now had two stays. Wow, she's so well looked after and the staff are really understanding and sympathetic towards her dislike of other dogs. She was given a kennel away from the other residents each time and Madeline went out of her way to spend time with Rosie. We have noticed a great improvement in Rosie's tendency to bark at other dogs and she is much calmer all round. She is booked in to have 2 more "holidays" at Country Kennels and we would thoroughly recommend these lovely people to anyone who wants peace of mind when they go away. Brilliant all round👍👍😃😃

2nd visit for my Goldendoodle at Country Kennels. Lucy and the team are very friendly and you can tell how much they all enjoy looking after all the dogs that stay or visit the new groom room. My dog was cut perfectly and I could tell he had a great time by the look on his face when I picked him up 5 star service........

very flexible hours and friendly staff who showed an interest in my dogs straight away, my dogs always run straight to the paddock and have a good bond with the staff.

They were not organised and I felt dubious about leaving my dogs there .... when I collected them they stunk and wouldn't stop eating as if they haven't been fed how I instructed. very disappointed and won't be using them again!

My clingy dogs who don’t like it when I ask other people to hold their leads don’t even look back when they jump out of the back of my van and run into Betty’s. She sends me videos of them on their walks, they love her and she obviously loves all of the dogs under her care.

I have 2 dogs that use Elm Lodge for regular day care and occasional boarding. They both love going, they return from day care tired but very happy. They are always eager to go in and really enjoy the experience. The staff are all very caring and Betty has a great establishment.

The owner and team have 100% dedication to the care of the dogs, my girls are in the best care here. I would not go anywhere else! My girls run in and don’t give me a second look! They have fun and are safe! They love it! Totally Faultless! Love poppy and susie x

Our Jasper loves it here to the point where I can actually see the cogs turning in his head, thinking ‘yea, bye dad, whatever’ when I drop him off.

Taking my dog to Elm Lodge Kennels is the best thing I have ever done, she is like a different dog - both physically and mentally. She has lost a lot of weight, thanks to the lovely long country walks Betty & her team take her in every day. She has come out of her shell, and is a much more confident dog, and a lot happier, she has made lots of new doggy and human friends. Molly normally goes weekdays to doggy day care, and boards when I go away. Betty even gets in at very short notice - like when I recently had an unexpected emergency hospital admission. Knowing Molly was in safe hands in a place she loves, put my mind mind at rest, whilst in the midst of the usual NHS hospital madness!

Have only recently started using Elm Lodge Kennels. They were recommended by a friend. The first time on fairly short notice, they agreed to take in our little Jack/Chi. We left her for 4 days. She was very happy to go in. They looked after her really well and sent us photos and videos. She thoroughly enjoyed her stay. Then last week my wife was ill and needed hospitalisation. I rang up and they immediately took her in for another 5 days. We thoroughly recommend them.

Today was “Wiggles” first day there; he had never been in kennels before or day care so I didn’t sleep last night! I don’t know why I worried - all the girls there are lovely and really care for the dogs. They sent me some lovely photos and a video and he had a great time. I cannot recommend enough - I can now sleep knowing I have found somewhere where they are so caring and loving - thank you.

Took my lab at very short notice as the boarding kennels she was booked into I took 1 look at and drove away. Betty and her team are outstanding and so dedicated to the dogs the only issue I have is my girl is now sulking because she's back home lol Thanks again Betty x

Unfortunately I don't rate these kennels, if i could rate this zero i would. my dog stayed here, the dogs are housed in brick sheds, there is not access to a outdoor run, they can't even see the other dog they are sharing with. The door to the access is always shut i asked about this being left open but the answar was no, so they only see someone when they are fed or for a quick walk so they spend there time in solid confinment I sent my own food but he didn't get it I asked about the spare packets I sent and they couldn't find them they should been in the freezer The place is scruffy and run down it has so much potential to be run as a a excellent kennel facility

My frenchie stayed here for 2 weeks and she is a nervous dog but they really looked after her , she was walked every day and made a fuss of thank you for looking after our little girl will definitely recommend this kennels and will be using again .

We had our Tibetan Mastiff boy over at The Lilac Kennels for around 4 hours, it was his first time staying at kennel so we were nervous but all was okay - thank you :) we would definitely recommend!

Our sprocket went when we were moving house a few years ago he loved it and my husband was impressed with care.

Cannot recommend enough they really get to know your dog and their needs wonderful people they take such good care of your dog x

I was always dubious about putting Max in kennels because he is a rescue dog, and I didn't want him to feel that we were abandoning him again. However (and it's a big however!) when we went to see the kennels and met Judy, all concerns were certainly reduced. She specifically asked us whether we wanted to visit the kennels before leaving him there, which we did, and it's an incredibly clean, lovely environment for dogs. We have taken Max there quite a few times, and Judy, along with the staff that work there, know him well and treat him like a prince. When we last called to book him in, Judy's response was, "Why would we ever not want to see Max?"! When we drive to drop him off, he wags his tail and jumps up at whoever comes to collect him, which puts our minds at rest enormously. I couldn't recommend somewhere more. I do get slightly upset that when Judy takes him to the kennels, he doesn't even look back at us, but that just goes to show how comfortable he is there. I could sing their praises for ages, but I'm sure you get the idea of what it's like...

Five star kennels for our dog. She always enjoys her stay here and comes back wagging her tail. Judy and her staff are always on hand to take care of everything and obviously are very committed to looking after your dog.

I'm writing this short review but it is also informed by the excitement of our dog when we turn into the drive. He absolutely loves this place, doesn't even pause to say good bye. Located in a semi rural setting with quiet lanes for walks. The place is spotless clean and well maintained. Time is spent understanding needs of your dog, and importantly the area is secure.

I've just picked up my German Shepherd after 3 weeks away and I can't praise Judy and her team enough. My dog is a rescue and I've only had her a few months and she has some foibles. Not only did Judy cope with them but improved her behaviour as well ! You can rest assured that your pet will be lavished with 5 * love and care while you're away.

Went into hospital at short notice and my dog was with them for this time, all I can say is wow. First thing you see as you arrive is how well kept the place is, everywhere, the cattery on the left looks fantastic and a cat's stay must be comfortable, moving down the drive is the large office and ahead is the kennel block. At the office it's not the office that impressed it's the huge smile you get from Judy with Avi close by, it's infectious and the willingness to show you there facilities, the kennels and runs/play area which are huge they are so proud to show which adds to reasons why we would recommend 100%That my dog would be safely cared for while I went through my time getting well. I will always take Diva there, they are doing this with joy first the (conversation from Judy is free flow and advice if wanted). Well done and thanks Graham Kath and Diva

Five stars all the way. Anyone who needs to put their dogs or cats in kennels for a short time. Then this is the place you need. Absolutely fantastic people, loving, caring thoughtful. The animals always come first here. No need to worry about your loving little four legged children while you're away. They will be well looked after. Honesty as always people. X

My dog was going in for a trial run for one night,she's had first injection, when we arranged the lady said that's OK for one night, got there just cut me off blank saying she's not had full vaccination she can't stay,lady is very mudderling and in your face,seemed OK place need someone on front desk with people skills
