We boarded our two dogs (a mini schnauzer and golden retriever, Mipha and Medli) recently and we love this place! I am an anxious mess leaving our dogs with anyone, but the owners helped ease that anxiety by being very communicative and kind. We will definitely board our dogs here again for our next trip. :) Photos are from Medli and Mipha’s stay!

First time boarder, and am so impressed! We have a 5 year old Great Pyrenees who requires a very large kennel, and not many places can take him. Our regular place was booked, so I had to find an alternate. Wow, What A FIND! They were very nice, allowing me take a tour of the place before I booked. It was very clean & they have nice fenced areas outside for the dogs to go out individually to run off some steam. They include 4 walks/day with their price, which is a great deal. The ultimate reason for my 5 Star review is when I picked up my sweet dog, he was CLEAN (even though he had not been bathed by them) and appeared very well cared for. The lady gave me a report on his behavior & eating habits. As we were leaving, she said goodbye to my dog & instead of making a beeline for the door & dragging me out so he could go home, he turned around & wagged his tail at her, then went to her for kisses. That said everything. He felt safe & well cared for by the people there. I am SO GLAD to have found this kennel, and I will definitely be using them from now on.

I moved to Ohio in August of 2024 and needed a kennel to call “home” for my two dogs when we travel. I gave Howliday Inn a shot and haven’t looked back since! In fact, I didn't even want to write this review because I always want them to have a spot for us 😂🫶 They offer add ons (play time, peanut butter kings, pup cups and a night time tuck in with warm blankets) and they also do nails and grooming! Carrie and Ruth are always responsive and easy to work with, and more so they do so well with my big, anxious goofy dog Tucker who doesn’t really like anyone that doesn’t live with us 😂 (But my other boy, max loves everyone and gets so excited to see Carrie) photo of my goodest boys for tax. Thanks for all you guys do!

Howliday was such a wonderful experience for our fur baby Scampers. The staff is exceptional and you can tell how much they care for their clients.

Very satisfied with the service we received. Our Archie was so happy to see us and in good spirits when we picked him up after after a 7 day stay! Great pricing, wayyyy better than anyone around!

This place is great. They’ve been watching my dogs (Sally & Bailey) for a few years now every time we go out of town, I couldn’t ask for better caretakers.

Howliday Inn is incredible, they are flat out the best place to care for your dog when you need to board. They have flexible hours, friendly staff, provide detailed care and great rates. On top of all of that the owners are incredible people who breed and show their own dogs as well as work for Ohio Department of Natural Resources. It's obvious they care about animals and will treat your pooch accordingly.

This is the third time I have taken Abbey here. They are always very welcoming to her. She is comfortable with them which is very important to me. They do a great job and I highly recommend them for your boarding needs!

The owners and workers are awesome! My dog took to them right away... it was clear how much they all cared about dogs. Our dog, Rose, was happy when we returned from being gone for almost two weeks. It was her first time being boarded, and I was a little nervous, but pleasantly pleased when we returned. I'll definitely use them again.

Very accommodating to our last minute cancellation from our dog sitter over Memorial Day weekend. They called us back and let us know they had room for our dog. Great value! Dogs are kept separate, which was great for our dog who is more anxious around larger dogs. Our dog has some anxiety and has been sick from stress when we pick him up from some boarding facilities, but he was perfectly fine after a weekend at Howliday Inn.

Our dog has done daycare, overnight stays, and a week long boarding. We have always had a great experience with Arlissa and Dayton Pet Care. They are very quick to respond, send daily updates, and take the best pictures. Luke always comes home tired and happy from all of the fun activities they do with him there!

Trusting Arlissa and Dayton Pet Care has been an incredible experience. Arlissa has cared for our dog, Archer, in both a daycare and boarded setting where she was professional and timely. We appreciate the ways she’s supported our family and the fantastic photos she’s taken along the way! We continue to use her services and she now watches our puppy, Honey!

I highly recommend Dayton Pet Care! They are flexible and easy to communicate/work with. Our puppy, Gia, is always excited upon arrival and exhausted from playing when we pick her up. It’s clear they are passionate about caring for animals, and they always provide us with plenty of photos to update us.

My husband and I had a wedding to attend in Dayton. Being from out of town I did some extensive research on the best place to leave our dog, Molly. Dayton Pet Care had great reviews so that is where we had Molly do an overnight stay. I was not disappointed at all! All through the night I received wonderful texts, and some of the best pictures that I’ve ever seen of our sweet girl. I felt very secure in the knowledge that Molly was being very well taken care of! I would absolutely have no problem highly recommending their service!

My bulldog boys love Dayton Petcare! The team keeps me updated on their activities with pictures and videos. I can see the joy in their faces. I’m very comfortable leaving them when I have to travel. Feels like you’re leaving you’re pet kiddos with family. I would recommend them over any chain establishment. It’s like you’re leaving your pet kiddos with family. ❤️Only problem I have is their exhausted when I pick them up 🤣🤣.

I highly recommend Dayton Pet Care for boarding your cat or dog. They are a 24 hour service, (a rarity) and we were able to drop off our doggo at our convenience. Arlissa was quick to respond after I booked, asked all the right questions and made our dog, Sidney feel at home and loved. She sent updates and awesome photos of Sid during her entire stay. She was properly cared for and exercised and had one on one playtime. Please check them out, you won’t be disappointed!

We had a wonderful experience with Dayton Pet Care! The staff were kind and caring and we were given lots of updates about our furbaby! And our cat got a whole room to himself! If we need more pet boarding we'll definitely go with these guys again!

Dayton Pet Care provides quality care for my dog. He loves going to daycare and playing with all of his friends. They care for the animals as if they were their very own. And they take amazing photos! I am truly grateful for their services.

I simply can not say enough good things about this place! I just left my fur baby there for a week and I got daily updates and pictures letting me know he was doing good while he was there. The owner is very prompt to respond to any questions. And this place has a full on puppy carnival on site! I’m talking playground equipment and a little coaster. 10 out of 10. This will be the FIRST place I call from now on.

This is a long time coming and I apologize for the delay…my mother was a customer for Camp Canine and her Mitchie just loved his time there! He was always so excited to arrive and was completely worn out when he came home. The owners…I’ve never really had the opportunity to sit and talk with them, however, when my mom passed away unexpectedly and we were not able to bring Mitchie home with us they opened early, told us to let him stay as long as we needed. They were a huge source of comfort for us during a very difficult time and for that I will forever be in their debt. Thank You so very much for all you do for the animals of the community! Camp Canine is hands down, the best dog boarding place around. The owners, Don & Janet, are amazing. They are loving and so committed to our fur babies. There are NO CAGES (unless absolutely necessary, I'm sure). My fur baby gets to play and romp with her friends all day & all night. They have a huge back yard to run in (fenced) and comfy chairs to sit & sleep in. I would 100% recommend Camp Canine to every person looking to board their dog. It's important that you allow time to take your fur baby in before your boarding date to make sure it's a good fit. (your dog gets along with the other dogs) They also offer boarding for senior dogs, seperate from the younger rambunctious doggies. My fur baby loves it there. I may or may not get a little jealous when she's excited to get dropped off there.

Oh. My. Goodness. This truly is camp for your fur baby! Jan and Don are so kind and have the place set up for all the pups to have a safe and fun time. My girl loves going to play with the other dogs and she comes home worn out and sleeps soundly for the next couple of days. Out of all the places that are available to leave our girl, this is the only place I'd even consider. No boxed kennels or specific times for walks....just freedom and fun for all!

Don and Janet are the best hosts to my dog, Brutus. They love having him there whenever I leave him there for my trips to Florida. The homey feel he has being in a house and having the run of it instead of being cooped up in a cage/run is satisfying to me more than him. I know whenever I leave him there he is well taken care of, has plenty of exercise, and has many, many pals to play with every day. They care for their charges and it shows. Whenever I come to pick him up, they always say what a pleasure he is. I highly recommend Camp Canine if you're looking for a great day care for your fur baby.

We have been taking our dogs, Hank and Howie, to Camp Canine for two years. We have tried every major kennel in the area (including expensive $38.00/day kennels) and every time, the dogs came back sick, injured or hungry from not eating due to stress. The Adams's love on the dogs and their homey atmosphere is great for our dogs, who hate to be in crates or kennels. The dogs practically pull me out of the car when we arrive! They have also noticed several small health issues that we did not see, and we were able to treat our dogs immediately, before a greater problem emerged. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The owners are friendly and the arrangement is a unique alternative to your typical kennel. They are not accommodating to altering their hours for pickup on Sundays, otherwise would give 5 stars.

We've been taking our dogs here for years. We like how the dogs get to play together instead of being caged up nearly 24/7 at other places. Would highly recommend!

Jessica is an absolutely wonderful pet sitter. She has taken care of two of my cats, both quite old and with health issues. I felt so comfortable and safe with her taking care of my cats because I knew if there were any health issues, they were in good hands. Plus, she maintains such good communication, so I knew she would contact me immediately if anything was worrisome. Jessica is so responsible, thoughtful, and loving toward animals. I can't recommend her highly enough!

I absolutely love having Jessica watch my two dogs while I'm away. I have two energetic and quirky young dogs. Before Jessica's first visit, she came over to get to know the dogs and learn about their needs. When I was away, she came to take care of them and play with them. Though I was nervous to leave them initially, receiving videos and pictures from her reassured me that they were in good hands. She even quickly won the affection of my more fearful dog. It is so nice knowing that my dogs are comfortable at home, well cared for, and having fun. I've hired The Pet Keeper Pet Sitting several times, and I recommend them to anyone!

We have used Jessica for several years and she's been wonderful. Our pets love her we love knowing that they're home and well-cared for anytime we go away. She's great about keeping in touch - the photos she sends are the best. It's so comforting to know that someone who knows and loves animals is watching them, and also keeping an eye on our house. Jessica is amazing. She has provided care for our pets for many years now. She has always been here when we needed her! She provided loving care to our very special elderly dog so that she never had to be alone for more than a few hours at a time. She has become a trusted friend.

I was searching for care for my dogs . I was having surgery and hated the thoughts of a boarding kennel. They are used to being out and being able to play. I found Jessica . Best call I ever made. I explained my situation and she came out that same evening. The dogs loved her! Needless to say the dogs got to stay home . She came out several times a day. They got to play and were well cared for! And what a value. Her charges were a lot less than a boarding kennel. Jessica is my go to for my pets needs.

I take my Golden Retriever puppy Louie to Dogtown Huber Heights for daycare 4 days a week. I cannot say enough good things about this location. The staff is incredibly friendly, and knowledgeable. Every time I drop Louie off he is more interested in being with them and his friends at daycare than saying bye to his mom. Whenever there’s been an issue they were quick to message me, and very helpful. I often look in to see how Louie is doing on the webcams and never see potty messes on the ground that aren’t addressed, or dogs fighting, the staff is always attentive and caring. Bringing Louie to daycare has been great for his socialization, and I love knowing that he’s not sitting in a kennel. Their grooming services are also fantastic, and it is so convenient to pick him up all bathed and trimmed and ready to go home. Pick up and drop off have always been quick and easy as well. Boarding there was also really convenient when we went out of town for a night. There are so many fun activities they do! It’s apparent to this very picky dog mom that the entire staff treat Louie like family. Definitely give them a try and see for yourself.

Absolutely love this place! Having recently moved to Dayton it was so hard to know whom to trust my pups with. I have been so thoroughly impressed and happy with dogtown Huber! The team here have been so observant of my dogs noting changes in behavior and even the smallest scratches on them! Great communication! You can tell they love what they do! My dogs are always excited for daycare and come back so happily exhausted! Have boarded my dogs here for trips as well!! Also love that they’re open 24/7!

Awesome facility! The employees really care about the dogs here, and take so much time to make sure they're as happy and comfortable as possible. They even have a salon, now! I love how the dogs get to roam a bit more freely rather than being confined to kennels for hours like other places. They maintain safety while giving more freedom, it's really fun!

We've taken our dogs here before and had no issues. Well this time our one dog was "aggressive". Our dog has never been that way not even at dog parks. So they isolated our dogs because we didn't have another option to come them while on vacation. I have talked to others and they have had similar issues after having gone several times. They also told us to bring her in more often as they could train her so they just want us to spend more money on a problem that wasn't even a problem. I watched the cameras and have seen dogs humping each other and others who showed aggressive behaviors but those dogs were not isolated.

Everyone is always friendly and really helpful. They have a lot to juggle but still have great customer service. Lillian is quick and knowledgeable and her confidence makes me feel comfortable leaving my dogs. Also, the groomer was great! I don’t remember their name though.

They were really nice and patient with our baby girl. They cleaned her up really nice and didn't take too long at all.

Love this place! My dog gets so excited when she goes to daycare and just loves it there. Everyone there is just so nice. They have great communication too, so if your dog is sick, just is acting too nervous, or anything else, they will always let you know which I really appreciate! She was even groomed there because it was convenient while she was in daycare and they did such a great job with her! She's a hyperactive dog and they were able to keep her calm. Great prices, open 24/7, and friendly employees! Dogtown is a great place to bring your dog!

He's always so excited to go there in the morning and comes home happy and tuckered out, a sure sign he's had a day full of play and socialization. I love seeing pictures of him playing and interacting with other dogs - it's clear he's having the time of his life! The environment is clean, safe, and organized, with plenty of space for dogs to play, both indoors and out. They really pay attention to the individual needs of each pet, ensuring a good match in play groups and providing ample rest time. Choosing Dogtown for my doggy daycare needs has been one of the best decisions I've made for my four-legged friend. It's more than just a daycare - it's a community of dog lovers who make every day a fun, tail-wagging adventure for my pup!

We took our dog there for boarding while we were out of town. While on our way back, we called and asked if we could have him groomed, and they really went above and beyond and accommodated our request. It was very much appreciated and so grateful for a business like this.

Update: Austin has been going here for 4 years now and I am so thankful for Dogtown! I figured I should update my review from 3 years ago, because they are still so great. They are still amazing! We are so fortunate to have such a great place near us. The staff is so awesome! We have been taken out Bassett Austin here since he was 16 weeks old and is now 7 months old. He love it here so much! The staff is AMAZING and cares about every individual dog! We are so fortunate to have such a great place near us with great staff. I highly recommend checking them out!

The last few times I have brought my dog in for her bath, nail trim and dremel, they have barely trimmed her nails and they never did the dremel even though I paid for it and verified at drop off that they would dremel. Her nails were so long that I picked her up, that I called to request another groomer next time. they said they’re afraid to cut her nails in case she bleeds. My dog has white nails, and you can see the vein…. Then I took her to the vet afterwards, and the tech was able to trim a whole bunch more of the nail before reaching the vein. I also asked Coats and Tails for a refund for the dremel since they admitted they didn’t do it and they said no. The only offer she had was for them to “re-look at the nails”. Why would I bring her all the way back for you to look at them. My vet staff said her nails could be trimmed a lot more and couldn’t believe a groomer was afraid to cut her easy to see nails correctly. Great way to treat your customer if they requested a service, paid for the service and then you admit you never did it and refuse to refund the money. Would not recommend them ever. The communication between staff is awful. They also told me that if I’m unhappy with her nails, that there are other grooming places, so great job at retention too. Clearly do not care about their customers even when they admit they’re in the wrong. I will never return to this place and will find a groomer that actually communicates with their customers and knows how to cut a dogs nail and will pull a fast one and take the clients money for a job never done.

This was Zeus and Apollos’ first experience at the groomer. They turned two on Jan 25! They loved their puppy care day and we will be returning. Service and prices was amazing!

I've been taking my 2 Shi Tzu's here for over a year. They are good to my dogs & cut is just how I like it. Won't go anywhere else!!!

My 95lb German Shorthaired Pointer/ Rottweiler mix Hank first time ever at the groomers! He did just fine and they treated him so well! He looks amazing and well cared for. The price was reasonable only $40 for bath, drying, nail clipping, and ear cleaning. Thank you for taking great care of my pup! Since he has hip dysplasia I was a little nervous but I will definitely be back! Highly recommend checking this place out if you have time on your hands and can freely pick up your dog whenever they are ready!

Coats & Tail grooming is fantastic. They are so kind to our furbabies and groom them perfectly, we have been going there for years and wouldn't go anywhere else.🐕❤️🦮❤️ …

I was very disappointed as a new customer. I have two male Doodles. I called this groomer for a consultation and quote before scheduling an appointment. My groomer was Breezy. She observed both dogs and ask me how I wanted them cut. I actually gave her comb and clipper sizes from my previous groomer as a guide. My previous groomer recently retired from doing big dogs, reason being why I needed a new groomer. I comb my dogs out at least twice a week. I also invested in a professional grooming table. All to avoid matting. Breezy quoted me a price of $150.00. When she called me to pick up my boys, she told me the credit card machine wasn't working and I had to pay by check or cash. I was planning to use my charge card. Also when I got there, I didn't recognize my guys. They were cut so close. Normally their body is close but their legs are full. She told me they had a little matting behind their ears, otherwise they were combed out well. At our consultation, I told her I wanted their faces to stay curly like a doodle, but she cut their faces slick like a poodle. She also cut the hair between their pads so close that two days after their visit, they had licked their pads so much that they were fiery red and irritated. I had to get professional help to get them some relief. Breezy then complained that my boy Blue peed on the floor and that he was cage aggressive when she tried to put a noose on him to bring him out of the kennel. She said she would give him another chance on his next appointment to bond with her. She said she doesn't work with dogs that don't. First of all, every dog's temperament is not the same. Blue is nervous when it comes to strangers. But if you're patient and take a moment to let him settle down, he's fine. Try making friends or offer him a treat. After all, this is his first visit. On the other hand, Boss, my year old is very sociable and loves everyone. Therefore, Breezy didn't complain about him. In addition to my bad experience, Breezy told me that she couldn't schedule my next appointment for 12 weeks and my cost would increase because their coats will be longer. My guys are groomed every 5 weeks. So, she's penalizing me because she doesn't have anything sooner. I took the appointment but knew I'd keep looking for another groomer. I shared my experience with my old friend and groomer. She was heartbroken that we had such a bad experience and told me to cancel my next appointment with Coats and Tails and bring the boys back to her. I'm grateful for my old groomer's love and compassion for Blue and Boss. All groomers should have compassion and a love for dogs. You never know a dogs past experience with people. Some just need a little extra TLC. Breezy did not possess that quality. I felt unwelcomed from the start. I was happy to cancel my appointment and I can't recommend Coats and Tails to anyone with a doodle.

My goldendoodle was extremely matted and terrified of going back to the groomer since we had a bad experience elsewhere. Breezy did a great job without having to shave her completely. I'm very happy with the shop. She offered some good advice on caring for her coat. Great pricing too. I'll be taking my other dog there as well ❤

Today, I took our 9 month old puppy Kelly to Coats & Tails for the first time. We've taken our mature dog Max there several times and have always been happy with the grooming. As previously with Max, the groomer did an excellent job for a good price. I will definitely take both back here for grooming.

We've been using coats and Tails. For over 10years Kathy her mom and the gang that work there. Are truly awesome. First they truly care about the well-being of your pet. On top of that they Do a wonderful job. Of Grooming shampooing nail clipping And taking care of your pet. We used to live close To their store and now we're over 20 miles away.
