Caroline has been amazing with our dog, Elliott! she always on time and takes great care of him, treating him as if he were their own. Very responsible and responsive to any requests, she truly go above and beyond-including after the dog walk making sure Elliott got extra cuddles and fresh water. As a travel nurse I have worked with a variety of dog walkers over the past several years and Carolina is by far one of the most compassionate and attentive. She treats my baby Seamus like he is her own, and it is clear from the pictures she sends (and the interactions I have seen firsthand) that he enjoys her as well. She is reliable and great at communicating, has always worked with me around my schedule, and handled any challenges with ease when they have popped up. We feel so lucky to have found Carol! We received lots of photos and videos of our three pups throughout our trip. We have one dog which hates to see us go and usually is frantic when we return. On our arrival all three dogs were happy to see us, but they had obviously had lots of attention and were not overly excited- a good sign to us! Highly recommend!

Best pet sitter in the Portland metro area bar none. Diane has a passion for pets, and unlike some pet sitters she cares for special needs pets as well. My kitty is insulin dependent, and anytime we are leaving town we can trust to Diane to take care of him and make sure he gets all his medicine and insulin. I don't trust many people with my pets, but I trust Diane with mine. She has a passion for pets, and her kennel free boarding for dogs is top-notch. Any time I have to leave town, I can rest easy knowing our pets are well cared for.

Betsy and Amelia with Bowser’s Best Buddy are a cut above the rest. I see how much genuine love and care they show my pup, while offering positive and consistent training. My dog Otis attends their day program and has truly blossomed, from an excitable 1 year old adolescent to a well rounded, friendly, obedient member of their pack. Betsy has offered such valuable recommendations on how I could continue the training approach at home to keep advancing his knowledge. I found Betsy as I looked for a day program that wasn’t a larger scale “daycare” space. Betsy did a careful screening to make sure Otis would fit well with the other dogs and slowly folded Otis into the mix. Now that Otis is a “regular,” it gives me peace of mind that any newcomers to the program will be similarly vetted and introduced. A year into attending the day program, Otis is thriving and I am so grateful for the Bowser’s team (Finn, the elder pup, included!)

We have been taking our girl to Bowser’s since she was a puppy. Tuesday’s are her favorite day of the week. Betsy treats Pimm like her own and it’s such a relief to not have to worry about her while I’m working. I get pic and video updates during the day, like this gem. We love working with Betsy. She’s professional, a great communicator, and so welcoming to Pimm. If your pup can get a spot, their lucky!

Betsy is a gem! We have two cats, and when we leave to go out of town, we go in peace, because we know they are always so well cared for and loved by Betsy. We feel so fortunate to have found her. Her daily updates, photos, and videos are wonderful to receive and make us feel so close to our kitties, even when we are far away. Upon arriving back in Portland, I needed a dog walker as my remote job gave way to an on-site job. After being ignored by a couple of different providers, Betsy responded promptly, set up a meeting and now my guy, Gary, is the happiest pup on the block. She's priced fairly, provides excellent service (pictures of every walk and attention to Gary's well being), is an A+ communicator and just a generally great care-taker. I couldn't be any happier with Bowser's and Betsy and, as a fanatical fan of my dog, recommend her without hesitation.

Our dogs LOVE Brandy! We’ve been using Brandy from Doggie Deeds for almost 2 years now and we have no plans of stopping. She is very reliable and trustworthy and willing to put up with our anxious doggo who has a hard time with strangers. Doggie deeds is amazing. We have a traumatized rescue dog that just loves Brandy and her team. They were so patient with getting to know her and gaining her trust. When doing overnights, I completely trust them in our house. They have always gone above and beyond to have things clean and tidy and take amazing care of our dog.

I have been using Doggie Deeds for about 2 years now. I first met Brandy through Play and Chase dog care. Both my dogs love her and couldn’t ask for a better dog walker! I have had her and Bekka do overnight sittings and it makes me feel so much better knowing my dogs and cats will be well taken care of as well as my house. The house is always clean and tidy when I get home from a trip.

We have been using Doggie Deeds for years. Brandy and her team have been life savers for walking/hiking/caring for our old dog and new rescue, housesitting, and just once in awhile being there to help during a dog emergency! They get to know the our dog's personality and needs and are a delight to work with!

We love Doggie Deeds. Brandy has been with our Arlo since he was just 8 weeks old. She is like a second mother to him. We have been using Doggie Deeds at least 2 days a week, with Bekka and Brandy. It's like Arlo has girlfriends and just looks forward to playing and walking with both of them. Its really nice because we can still keep all of our training gear and it transfers over to both Brandy and Bekka. We don't have to worry about untraining him after their walks. I am not sure what I would do without Doggie Deeds.

I called very last minute in a bind and Brandy definitely went way above and beyond to help and get us on the way. I loved that she was way more concerned for my pup than for idle chit chat, she was very friendly and personable once my dog was taken care of and she had a minute to spare for mere humans. My dog has been visiting Maggie on and off for many years. Maggie is always quick to respond when I check her availability and provides wonderful care for my dog. The environment is like home, there are cozy places for the dogs to be inside, a safe backyard with shade and sun for play, and lots of attention. It's a home away from home for my dog when I travel.

I’ve boarded my pup (Clementine) with Maggie several times now, always for fairly long stretches. I used to be so nervous about leaving her for longer than a few days, but I have absolutely no anxiety about her while she’s in Maggie’s care. When I had a family emergency arise requiring an extension of Clem’s boarding dates, Maggie’s incredible understanding and flexibility alleviated so much stress for me and my family. And even when there hasn’t been an emergency, it’s so nice to be able to leave for vacation and only have to think about your dog when you miss her rather than worrying constantly. Maggie’s home is SO beautiful, as well as very clean and inviting to pets. I would actually kill for her backyard, which has so much space for dogs to run and play. Clem always has the time of her life and I feel good knowing the attention of the person watching her isn’t diverted by a million other dogs; the few she takes on at a time are enough for stimulation without being overwhelming. The near daily photo/video updates are so nice and my family always gets a laugh out of them, too. I love and trust this place so much that I’ve now recommended Maggie/Unleashed to every Portland area dog owner I know. Absolutely worth every penny every single time, I hope I never have to take my dog anywhere else. I honestly cannot day enough good things.

We boarded our dog for 9 days and were very happy with the TLC she got here. Photos and video was posted daily on Facebook so we could see how she was doing. The owner's home is dog-friendly but also immaculately clean. There's a huge fenced backyard for frolicking as well as an indoor play area for rainy days. We wouldn't hesitate to leave our big girl here again.

This is such a lovely idea, hosting a few dogs in your home. Our experience with this business was less than ideal, though. The owner asked us to bring our dog (a 12 year old male miniature schnauzer) over to meet her dogs, because she needs to know our dog will get along with her dogs. So far, so good. Our dog, while far from perfect, loves other dogs. He loves other dogs so much that at TWO of his past doggie daycares, they used him as the test dog to see if other dogs would fit in. He has gone all the way up through advanced obedience classes, has learned circus tricks, and has competed in agility. He even used to work as a therapy dog, visiting long term care homes. He has never been aggressive towards anyone, much less another dog. He is more likely to play himself to death with them. After he met the owner’s dogs (which my husband thought had gone just fine), she let me know she was uncertain if he and her older male lab got along. She wanted our dog to stay for a night at her house while we were still in town to find out if they were compatible. This seemed like a lot of effort, but, okay, I can understand being cautious. We took him to her place (at the cost of $50) and left him there for a night. The next day, my husband picked him up and she did not say a word to him about what had gone on. We assumed that meant we were good to go. We had already made reservations with her for our upcoming vacation, WELL in advance of the time we would be out of town. With less than a week before we were due to leave town, the owner contacted me to let me know that she had another male dog staying with her and she would need us to bring our dog back to her house again to see if our dog got along with this other dog. Seriously? What was she going to do if they did not get along? It seemed glaringly unprofessional to tell someone with less than a week notice that you are not sure if our dog (a much beloved family member) would be acceptable to stay with her when the rest of the family is about to leave on vacation. Talk about stress inducing. The owner’s continued suspicion that our dog will be aggressive towards other dogs was unfounded and, frankly, offensive. We have found other, better options for boarding our little guy. I guess if you have a female dog or a young pup, this might be a good choice for you. The yard she has for dogs to run in is wonderful, and they have lovely little beds to sleep in all around the house. If you have a male dog, especially an older male dog, be forewarned you might want to look elsewhere.

Maggie loves dogs more than anyone I know. She will always take wonderful care of yours.

My fur child is so incredibly happy the second we pull into the parking lot!!! The staff are welcoming, warm and engaging. I was just using this service as a fill in activity for travel but my little buddy can not live without the Scooby crew on a regular schedule. Can not say enough about how fabulous this has been! Great pricing and the A’ la cart services are awsome too!

Scooby shack continues to amaze me with their customer service, compassion, and hard work ethic! Nyxie loves her plays and stays at Scooby Shack. She's made some good buddies (dogs and humans!), and she "sings" all the way to the Scooby Shack once she knows we're headed that way. The staff takes such good care of our girl. When she stays there, the staff is happy to give updates and pictures. (We know Nyxie is having a ball so this is really to make her parents feel better.) Thank you Scooby Shack for taking such great care of our girl!

Extremely disappointed with this place. We used to bring our dog here exclusively for grooming and daycare but never again. We brought our dog in to get groomed after several years of grooming here and only when I went to pay was I told that the prices increased, over $100 MORE! We'd always brought our dog in the morning to play with the other dogs and then his grooming appointment would be in the afternoon. We've done this for years and not once have they charged us for day care when bringing him in the morning If we also got him groomed. It was only when I came to pick him up that they told me they increased their prices for grooming and charged me for the morning. I understand raising prices as needed but this was a very dishonest way to go about that. They should have let their customers know before they leave their dogs there that they increased their prices by so much instead of waiting until after the service is over. Not to mention the groomer did not even trim some areas we'd requested like around his booty so now I have to do it myself. We will never be coming back and will be telling our friends and family who also go there about this experience.

I'm so excited, Scooby Shack has a new groomer (Hannah), and she is fantastic. I have a Yorkshire Terrier and a Bernese Mountain Dog and I've been through more than my fair share of not so good grooming experiences. Leah really listened to me and did exactly what I asked her to. My dogs look great, and you can tell she really enjoys grooming dogs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her!

I’ve posted before and after pictures of our mini Aussiepoo. As you can see, he had a full head of cute, curly hair that the groomer at Scooby Shack has managed to shave off haphazardly twice. When we picked him up this time, we were in tears; she’d cut his whiskers off, shaved his entire body and only left his ears and tail alone. She said it was because we didn’t brush him enough, but we brushed him every day. I am so disappointed and upset by this groomer. How can you work with animals and do this to them? Do not take your dog to this woman, she clearly doesn’t care about the work she is doing or how her customers feel.

I have taken my dogs to Scooby Shack since 2011. Trulli loves going to Scooby Shack so she can play with her doggie friends and with Todd. I am very happy with the care Trulli receives and have no reservations taking her for daycare and boarding Trulli at Scooby Shack.

Very impressed with this daycare and boarding facility . Very clean and communication is topnotch. They Have staff with the pups at all times -24 hrs. Experienced staff watching and they understand animal behavior. As I’m Watching pups come and go-The pups are so happy waggin their tails , hopping on their feet -such a sight to see. That tells me they had a good time. What great way to socialize a pup in a pack environment. 🤩 They even have a cat condo. Super Clean and have wall climbing area for them. I got to see a cat scratching on a post didn’t even seem scared. Relaxed and strutting his stuff across the room. 🤩

Our dog loves Scooby Shack. He is excited when we take him here, and when he comes home, it is obvious he has played all day long and enjoyed his day. Staff are super friendly and nice.

My dog loves Scooby Shack. His enthusiasm to rush through the doors and get inside is sometimes overwhelming! It's easy to see why. The staff is friendly and reliable. Everyone has a great attitude and welcoming smile. I totally trust them to provide a safe and secure place where my dog can run around with his pals. I never have to worry when he is there. We both love Scooby Shack!!

My lab Millie has been going to Nightshift Petcare since she was 18 weeks old. Joy helped me train Millie and I attribute much of her sweetness to the time she spent learning to socialize with the other dogs at NSPC. Millie attends daycare 2x a week and there is no where else I would leave her for overnight boarding. Joy is the best of the best of the very best!!!

Joy is the best. My pup probably has a better vacation than I do every time I drop them off. Could not recommend higher.
