Pet Sitting in Erath County

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. 
Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention.
He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. 
He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. 
The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! 
We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. 
We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. 
Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). 
In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. 
We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Leslie consistently demonstrated outstanding communication skills, both initially and throughout the entire process, and I would gladly give her more stars if possible.

Leslie arrived as scheduled, and instantly the animals fell in love with her and Bennie.  Our cats love our dogs but usually won't come in the house when a strange dog is here but they didnt even hesitate to come meet Bennie.  Bennie was very calm and a true gentleman.

Leslie sent pictures throughout the sit reassuring us the gang were all getting along and enjoying her and Bennie's company.  She read through the welcome guide before we left as well as we showed her around. It was very nice getting the chance to know her a bit before we ledt the following morning.  We felt very comfortable knowing our home and pets were in good hands.

It is very apparent when you meet Leslie that she truly does love animals.  When our Molly decided to hide, Leslie called us right away because she feared Molly may have gotten spooked by a firework going off in the neighborhood and escaped under the gate. I felt so bad for Leslie because she blamed herself because it was on her watch. I have trackers on all my pets and it turned out that Molly was still in the house and just hiding really well. She can curl up.pretty small.  Lealie took our Lab to check the walking route and see if Molly was there.  When I called and told her Molly had to be at the house because her tracker showed her there, she returned to our home and Molly hreeted her as she came in the front door.  I was very appreciative of Leslie's phone call though because she didnt wait hours to call, she searched the yard and house and called right away.  

We decided to cut our trip short a day and asked Leslie if she minded if we came home a day early.  We let her know we didnt expect her to leave early and made sure she was comfortable with our decision.  As a pet parent, it is imperative that we remember the sitters are also on vacation and we didnt want to intrude on her time.  As it turned out, we ended up stopping by the ER on our way home where my husband was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm.  Unfortunately we had both the RV and my car and I needed to figure out how to get them home. I reached out to Leslie who offerred to give me a ride back to the hospital after I dropped o e vehicle off at home so I could retrieve the second vehicle.  BTW, the surgeon was able to repair my hubbys aneurysm and he will be coming home soon.  Leslie was a comfort during this frightening time and even stayed an extra day to help out and care for our home and pets.  She was a teue blessing.

Leslie left the house spotless along with so.e fresh flowers for me when I got back from visiting my husband.  If you get an opportunity to host Leslie in your home, rest assured your home and pets will be well loved and well taken care of.  We.would welcome.Leslie back anytime.  She is not just a pet sitter, she is a new trusted friend.

Amanda was the perfect housesitter and pet sitter for our cat. She is organized and communicative, and took care to ensure she understood the guidelines for taking care of our home and our cat. She left our house in perfect condition and we returned home to one happy kitty! Would not hesitate to have Amanda housesit for us again or recommend her to others looking for a sitter.

Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden.  The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom.  Already scheduled a second sit!  If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.

Bryan and Dana were the perfect sitters for Cella.  We were delighted that they were able to arrive a day early so that we could enjoy dinner with them and get to know one another. Andrea was the perfect sitter for our older Italian Greyhound and our shy cat. 
She followed every request to a “t”, and helped us to feel comfortable and care 
free for a long zeewoi. The communication 
of photos and videos were a warm 
reminder of how well they had been adjusting to our absence. Andrea showed care and consistent compassion for Darcy and Hammy. 
She seemed to enjoy them and our home as much as us!
We returned to an absolutely spotless home, without anything left undone. She thought of everything related to us and our pets, so we could have a seamless late evening  return. 
We highly recommend Andrea for any zeewoi, as she is a jewel. Anyone looking for a “perfect” sitter would be lucky to have Andrea as a trustworthy, considerate and kind person to care for their pets and home.

Debra was a Great pet and house sitter !!  She communicated well throughout our long trip and sent us frequent pictures of all of our pets. She watered our plants and brought in all the mail. If you’re lucky enough to find Anna as your pet sitter you will have peace of mind and well cared for pets whilst you are away and a clean and tidy home on your return. Anna is thoughtful and kind, she arrived the evening before the sit which allowed for some time to hear about her interesting travels and work, kept me updated with fabulous photos and details of the friendship she was making with the cats and even took the trouble to fix a sticky catch on the cat flap. Neil and Anne have just sat for us for a second time, for a week. They are outstanding sitters in every way. Always punctual with communication and arrival. They both have responsible jobs and this is evident as they are both very organised. They care very much about the animals they look after. We were regularly sent updates, pictures and video clips of them, which is great to see when you are away. When we came home we were greeted by happy pets and an immaculately tidy house. We cannot recommend Neil and Anne enough. As far as we are concerned they are perfect housesitters! …...Hopefully they will come back and sit again soon!
