I highly recommend Barn Dog! We’ve been sending my pup Whiskey since he was about 8 months old. The whole staff is great. We just boarded him there for the first time for 3 nights. I was so nervous to leave him but they reassured me all weekend with pictures and updates. They also offer an exit bath which is the best! He came home clean happy and exhausted!

I cannot say enough good things about Barn Dog. Their staff is friendly and professional, and it's clear they care deeply about all the dogs in their care. When we board our dog while I away they even send us photos so we don't worry. Highly recommend them for daycare and boarding.

We’ve been taking our dog to Barn Dog since she was a puppy and love it! The staff is really caring and clearly work hard to keep all the pups happy and safe. Our pup needs a lot of exercise but always come home from Barn Dog tired and happy.

I initially heard about Barn Dog Day Camp from a friend, I rescued a deaf dog about 4yrs ago. We have never boarded her due to her special needs, and I wanted to see if Barn was a good fit. She has a lot of anxiety, and given she was deaf, a lot of special attention. Peter and his staff were extremely kind and patient with my dog, I appreciate the interview process and all the steps they took. To make sure my dog would be a good fit, that she would enjoy camp, have fun and be safe. Barn dog is very knowledgeable in boarding dogs, and extremely professional. Even though it didn’t work out in our situation I would highly recommend to a friend.

The staff on evaluation day were so knowledgeable. It is very comforting to know how much they know about a dog personality. The facility is very clean. There are great activities and fun stuff for the dogs. My two dogs live it there.

My dog used to be skittish and defensive when meeting new dogs, but I could tell he wanted to make friends. Thanks to Barn Dog, and their super professional handling and thoughtful way of introducing new dogs in the mix, my pup now has a social life, lots of new friends, and new confidence out in the world. He has so much fun at this fantastic facility that now he mopes in boredom when he's at home with just me! I love Barn Dog!

My dog loves going to Barn Dog Daycamp! She gets plenty of exercise and play time with other dogs. The facility is clean and spacious with both indoor and outdoor play areas. Peter’s enthusiastic love for dogs shows in the care he provides at the Barn.

I’m so happy I signed my dog Ace up for Dingo’s. The staff is knowledgeable and love their furry clients! I received pictures of my dog and a cute little “report card” telling me how he did for the day. He is a rescue and can be nervous, but Chelsey and the team at Dingo’s made sure he was happy and comfortable! He can’t wait to come back, thanks again! 😊

Dingos is the best doggy daycare, boarding, walking, and training! Scooby started attending last fall, and during that time, we have utilized all the services offered. The owner and staff are very in tune with dogs and their needs, cornerstoned on animal and human safety! The portal to sign up for services is easy to use, and the staff is great if you need any help! They are active on social media, so sometimes you will get a nice look into the day your pup is having. Shout out to Nancy, the owner, for her care and concern and excellent communication. Marylin, one of the bus drivers and Scooby's walker, is terrific with my dog and a pleasure to chat with during drop-offs/pick-ups. Fae was outstanding for a short little overnight boarding we needed last month. Lastly, Chelsey, their resident expert behavioral dog trainer, has been essential for our success by helping Scooby not only learn some much-needed basics but also helping us through some challenging situations. Another plus is that they offer fun "experience" add-ons for the daycare. Such as puzzle time, glam photo sessions, mini walks, and even some one-on-one fetch time!

Dingo's has been a godsend after getting our rescue pup earlier this year. The staff is truly genuine in their love for dogs, and they go above and beyond in trying to accommodate and build an environment that is safe and fun for these pups. Not only does our dog have fun, but she comes home exhausted and that gives us a much needed break from the puppy madness - double win! Owner Nancy was also super helpful in finding a unique solution for me to find a place for my pup to stay when my entire family needed to attend an out of state funeral. We had no other options and she rescued us on short notice. Beverly is lucky to have such a great business & staff available to us dog owners. Thank you Dingos!

Dingos is the best! The staff will love and care for your dog as if it is one of their own. When I first brought my dog to them, she was very nervous and frightful. They were patient and gave her extra love to make sure she felt comfortable. Now my dog cannot wait to run into the yard and play. They are always accommodating, and will even send you photos of your pup having fun throughout the day. I wouldn’t send my girl anywhere else! Penny and Nala absolutely LOVE Dingos. The staff has been nothing but warm and welcoming with our new pup. Everytime we mention “dingos” both their ears go up and they get so excited to go. We drive 30+ mins to bring our pups here but it is worth it. We feel completly comfortable and love seeing the picture updates throughout the day on Instagram. We highly highly recommend Dingos! ❤️

Every dog sitter who has watched our dog CJ has been awesome, but Fae deserves special recognition for outstanding care last week. We were dealing with the challenges of welcoming a new baby, and Fae and her family went above and beyond to ensure our dog CJ received the love and attention she needed during this busy time. Her dedication and genuine affection for animals truly shone through, and we couldn't be more grateful. She also sends the best updates! We also love sending our pup to daycare because we know she's having a great time with their skilled and attentive staff. Our dog Ralph has been going to Dingos for almost a year and I could not have more great things to say about them. They are so attentive to him and keep a close eye on any medical or behavioral concerns we may have. They are so flexible and helpful to fit him in when we need them too. They keep our minds at total ease knowing that Ralph is being treated so well when drop him off each time. I absolutely love how often they post on social media so we know what the dogs are up to throughout the day!

Dingo's has been a wonderful experience for our dog Raz! Each and every staff we have ever interacted with has been extremely kind and professional. Raz is very timid and anxious, but she has slowly been getting more comfortable in going each week. The administrative staff is also excellent in answering questions around their services and billing. Hound and Country is the best!! They are so accommodating and kind. Not only do they work with your schedule and make your precious animal the top priority, they are so personable and update you with the CUTEST pet photos:) Two Paws Up! H&C has been my go-to dog walker for almost a year. They do a great job, and couldn’t be easier to work with. I love getting their updates and seeing that my dog is having more fun than me!

We can not say enough positive praise for Hound and Country Pet Care. We have used them for dog and cat care for over 8 years with 4 different dogs and 2 cats. From senior dogs who required special senior dog care to young rescue dogs, 6 months old, requiring special training. Their care and dogs walks enabled business travel and working outside the house. They are smart and well educated about pet care and we have benefited from both their care and advice. This continues to provide us with peace of mind when we are not able to be at home. We are so grateful and highly recommend them based on our experiences.

Eddie and Courtney took the time to make my SUPER anxious dog feel comfortable with them. They started off with short visits so that my dog could ease into getting to know them. Eddie and his wife Courtney recently cared for Sailor in our home for a week. They exceeded our expectations in every possible way! Not only did we receive daily updates and pictures, Eddie shoveled our long driveway after an unexpected March snowstorm, our mail was brought in, linens were washed and the bed made, and Sailor was calm and well behaved upon our return. It was obvious to us that Sailor received plenty of exercise, socialization, and attention while we were gone. We highly recommend Wag-N-Walk for your pet care needs.

We left our older nervous pup Sophie with Kim and John for the week while we were on vacation and we couldn’t be happier. They were patient and loving and took impeccable care of her. We used a larger boarding facility in the past and the individualized attention our dog received at Good Shepherd allowed us to relax on vacation even more. Our dogs have found their new home away from home. The farm is a treat for both dogs.. and they are never bored. We receive daily pictures, messages and videos of how our dogs are spending their time. John and Kim treat both dogs like their own. On our most recent trip, one dog's ear infection returned.. and without hesitation, John and Kim took our dog to the Vet and kept us abreast of what was happening. We often take long trips out of town and its such a great feeling to know that they are safe- which of course allows us to enjoy our vacation without worries. We highly recommend their boarding and pet care services. Thank you John and Kim for going over and beyond for our dogs:)

Kim and John were warm and welcoming and our 2.5 yo 50 lb Portuguese Water Dog was quite at home. They had only one other tiny dog as well as their own affable 2 yo dog at the time our dog boarded with them in mid-June for 3 days so there was plenty of attention paid to our boy! He slept in his own bed in their house under a ceiling fan and ran outside with the others and played with John in a large grassy enclosed space (former horse corral). Kim and John were most communicative w texts and photos daily. Their place is set far back from any roads so traffic is not an issue and they are very careful not to let dogs out off leash. Our boy was fascinated by the proximity of chickens out back! They are continuing to set up their place for more pets and it may be that ultimately the dogs will sleep in a cooled/heated former garage either in crates or on their beds. This is a work in progress but one with which we were very happy. We would definitely board there again!

I'm VERY particular about who cares for my dog when I travel, and John and Kim are totally reliable, great communicators, and my dog loves them. They have a huge and safe yard for running and a sweet dog to play with, and they give my dog lots of exercise and attention. They are very professional and keep in good touch when I'm away. I've recommended them to my friends with dogs, so that says it all.

I’ve had a great experience with John. My dog, Rudy, can be a handful on walks in city neighborhoods- he has a thing against buses, bikes, scooters, etc. John was more than up for the task- he really enjoyed Rudy’s spirit which made me feel good. He was very enthusiastic and reliable. I strongly recommend him!

John and Kim are absolutely wonderful dog carers and have walked and pet sat our 3 big hyper hounds with consistent professionalism and kindness. They are reliable, trustworthy and I would look no further for people who have fondness and knowledge of dealing with multiple animals. They are able to do basically any service from pet sitting to taking our animals out on hikes as well as care for them as if they were their own and are accommodating of our schedule and needs.

My dog Biscuits favorite days of the week are when she goes to Doggie Depot and she loves her weekly sleep overs at the new “doggie hotel”…She also smells great after her spa day. The staff is beyond great.

I have been sending my two pups to Doggie Depot for two years now for both Doggie Daycare and Boarding. They are excellent!! They are so good to my dogs! They get plenty of exercise, love and attention and come home happy and tired!! The new Danvers location is great addition! All of the staff members are equally attentive and great people to work with! Highly recommend !

We LOVE the Doggie Depot!! Our 1 year old Samoyed, Ruby, has been going to the Beverly Farms location since March and every visit has been 10/10. The staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly all dog lovers—they are so good to our girl! The BF facility is in a gorgeous neighborhood and the staff provides lots of water, shade, and safe activities on hot days. We always know that Ruby is safe and in good hands. We also brought Ruby to the new Danvers location for the first time yesterday and it’s AWESOME. The outdoor space is huge (plenty of space for big dogs to fully sprint around) and very secure—I can’t wait to see the inside. Everything is brand new and so clean! Joel and Marie are so accommodating—scheduling, pick up, drop off, and billing could not be easier. Ruby comes home happy & exhausted every day!

Belle, our lab/beagle mix, has been boarding and daycaring with Doggie Depot since it opened 10 years ago. Their staff are spectacular. It is not uncommon for one of vans to stop to say hello to Belle while we are walking. If they don't stop, they say hello through the window! I don't know how they do it, but there is no rough play in the play area. Belle is now 13, she is a little stiff. We've used the new Danvers facility twice since it opened for 4-5 day stays. Belle loves it. Without a doubt it is the cleanest, most pleasant dog boarding option I've ever seen. The refit took a year and has everything a dog owner should want. Again, staff is key, and I have been consistently stunned by Joel's ability to attract and retain people who love and understand dogs. I rest easy when Belle is at Doggie Depot either for the day or boarding.

Our dog, Waffles, absolutely loves Doggie Depot. Their staff is attentive and professional, and their facilities are safe, clean and well staffed.

We couldn't recommend AstroCats more! We boarded our cat here for 3 weeks in September 2023. We were a little nervous boarding her because she hasn't interacted well with other cats in the past, but Alissa and Matt were fantastic: putting her in a quieter space initially and letting her own curiosity coax her out. By the end she was cautiously socializing with other cats, something we had never managed. AstroCats itself is clean, has great vibes, and is full of very contented cats. Alissa knew that this was our first time boarding our cat and she was great at answering all our questions and easing any nerves we had. The price we paid seemed good value and the regular social media updates were much appreciated (and very entertaining). Alissa and Matt clearly love the cats they care for. If we need to board again we will 100% be using AstroCats and we'll be recommending it to all our friends.

If I could give ten stars I would!!! Alissa and Matt were incredible with my senior diabetic cat. He needs a little extra attention due to his health issues and Alissa and Matt were so caring and affectionate with him. I loved the instagram updates and Alissa was quick to respond by email and text. My boy seemed super relaxed and very well cared for when I picked him up. I'm so grateful to you both. Outstanding place to board your cat! Alissa and Destiny are very passionate and make sure to provide the best care for your kitty. We always feel that our cat is in very good hands and gets a lot of attention! The place has a „personal“ atmosphere and Alissa and Destiny make sure to adapt to the needs of your cat. How do I even put into words how much myself and my cat LOVE this Astrocats!! When I first moved to the area, I put my cat into a similar cat hotel in Beverly and it was a horrible experience—the woman couldn’t find my cat for 30 minutes when I came to pick him up and he lost several pounds under her care...that should tell you all you need to know about that place. I was so worried to try again, but Astrocats has gone above and beyond every. single. time!! My cat came to them still slightly underweight and nervous after his previous cat hotel experience and the staff at Astrocats sat with him at each meal to make sure he ate and felt safe and loved—he came back a totally different, confident little pudgy man <3 They love on my cat all day every day, send lots of photos and videos, make sure all of his things are sent home after each trip, buy new toys and create new activities for the cats all the time, and the place is CLEAN and even smells great! There is always friends to play with during my cat’s stay, but Astrocats doesn’t allow the number of cats in the hotel to become too much so that each cat is given so much attention and 1:1 time. Every time my cat comes home, he is so soft and well brushed, so happy and cuddly, and smells so good! Now every time my cat hears Alissa, Destiny, or Matt’s voice on video, he will spring up and run around looking for them—He LOVES them all so much! I have no doubt that every time I send my cat, Pudding, there that he will be loved and cared for with the same amount of dedication and warmth that I put into loving him myself!! <3

So happy we have this place near us! We used them for a few overnights for our cat and were very happy with how it went. The place is fun, clean and they posted lots of pictures which was great to have while we were away. They clearly are very passionate and dedicated to the care of their guests. Our cat didn’t even look at us when we came to pick him up 😂

I recently moved to MA with a Vizsla puppy. The staff at Wags has been exceptional - great communication, caring, empathetic and knowledgable and friendly. I feel great about leaving my young dog in their care. I also receive training there - I love the location, the facility and I think the positive reinforcement training is professional and well delivered. They teach owners how to train and it's so much more than other places I explored. HIGHLY recommend!

We've been shopping around for a good trainer for the past several years and landed at Wags several months ago. We were impressed on day one! The positive reinforcement training is as much behavior training as it is obedience training, far more than the standard basic dog training methods of the past. Carol Watkins has amazing insight to animal behavior and a dog's ability to digest a process as opposed to trainers who teach obedience commands. Most training establishments offer education for their clients' dog's; whereas, Wags trains the owners, who train their dogs. Her application of behavior analysis step-by-step approach of owner training includes body posture, eye contact, tone of voice, how the dog perceives the owner and breaks down techniques to improve the owner's communication with their dogs. Each command is broken down in multiple physical phases before introducing the verbal and visual command, making it easier for the dogs to digest and learn each desired action. Carol also encourages the owners to ignore bad behavior by redirecting the attention to a positive action. Consequences such as scolding / punishing to modify behavior (a taboo at Wags) are replaced by positive reinforcement to achieve specific results. She taught us to use the dog's natural instincts for certain behavior, giving the dog time to process the request vs. the desire initially to achieve immediate results. This added patience encouraged us to get to know our dog's characteristics and personality, resulting in better communication to achieve our desired actions without consequences, encouraging the dog's to make the right choice, influenced by the reward of the clicker followed by a treat (or "super" treat if earned)! Carol's energy and positive attitude is infectious and made learning fun! The positive motivational training works!! I've learned more in the past few months from Carol Watkins and Sydney Bates than I have in 30 years of dog classes! Wags has a unique and amazing staff!!! They deserve more stars than the rating offers!!!!

Carol is an AMAZING trainer. I called her for an in-home consult after a move that was affecting my dogs. She takes her job very seriously and gave me a workable plan. We then enrolled in the Wags Basic Manners Class with our two girls and they improved GREATLY. We will be back for Level 2!

This past year with positive training and day care Lisa, Joe and staff helped me with my puppy become a confident, well socialized dog that I am enjoying and can do anything with. We moved away from a doggie daycare that we adored and were so sad because our dog Lyra loved it there. So we are so incredible thrilled to have found Reliable Ripley's Pet Care. Lyra adores her time spent with the walkers. Being home for the summer as a teacher I have seen this excitement first hand and my silly Lyra girl waits in the morning at the door for Max to arrive (see below). Reliable Ripley's Pet Care has also helped us out a ton with pet care during vacations. I am a very anxious cat mama who can ruin the vacation mood with my worries and getting to see photos everyday makes it so much better. Photos during Lyra's walks are also amazing and even my students love to see what my dog is up to that day.

Reliable Ripley’s was local to me, and Hannah was immediately responsive to my inquiry and scheduled a meet-a-greet right away. She has a wonderful way with the dogs, and I knew that I could trust her and one of her team members Dom (also Hannah’s Dad), who handles walks in my area. I originally wanted walks for my male Oscar because he has a lot of energy and is pretty easy to walk. Cleo, the female, is reactive and fearful so I intended to keep walking her myself. Happily, Dom won Cleo over in no time and has been walking her too – a huge relief for me. I also hired Reliable Ripley’s for a few days for in-my-home boarding for a recent trip to Arizona when a family member needed some days off. Dom was also amazing with the dogs for boarding and made me feel so comfortable having him stay in my home. As others have mentioned, they email me a link to a summary of how things went with photos for each visit (also at the end of each in-home boarding day). Finally, the day before I was to return home from Arizona, my family member had an emergency, and I emailed Hannah to see if it would be possible for Dom to return for the last day. He was able to do this, and both Dom and Hannah were so kind and professional throughout the whole experience. I cannot thank them enough. Hired Reliable Ripley’s when my work schedule got a bit crazy and I needed a little extra help caring for my almost 7 year old terrier mix, Boomer. My inquiry was answered almost instantly by the owner, Hannah, with pricing and schedule options! I booked services that day. Our walker is Dom and he is the absolute best with Boomer! Boomer looks so forward to going on his walks with Dom and I always get the cutest photos from him. They go above and beyond with pet journals, always making sure there’s fresh water, treats, and lots of lovings. 10/10 highly recommend, couldn’t ask for a better service for my dog.

When our sitter fell through, Hannah came to the rescue! Max stayed at our home and took great care of Hershey, posting daily updates. When we returned home, we could tell she had received the best! I highly recommend Reliable Ripley’s.

I cannot say enough good things about Ripley's! I have two rather high maintenance dogs and they took such amazing care of them. While I was away, one of my dogs had an urgent medical issue which they immediately brought to my attention, got her supplies and took her to the vet the next day. I was very worried because I was out of the country, but they made me feel so at ease because they are so caring and I knew she was in good hands. The photos and journal entries are really great too! I highly recommend them.

Hannah has walked my dog, Rudy, for many years, and he has also enjoyed sleepovers at her house! I trust Hannah with Rudy as much as I trust myself. I have been home on several occasions when she has picked Rudy up, and he runs to her - with tail wagging - as if she were his best friend...which she is! In addition to taking the best care of Rudy, Hannah has provided me peace of mind by being able to accommodate schedule changes and even an unexpected emergency boarding. As well, my white living room rug never had even a single muddy paw print as Hannah also respects my home! I am so thankful that I never have to worry when Rudy is in the capable and loving care of Hannah.

We had a wonderful experience with Reliable Ripley's! We have never had to leave our dogs for this long, and they are so used to us being home, so in home care was a must. Hannah was so professional and organized in setting everything up. Dom was the actual sitter and he was so great with the dogs. I love the journal entries including pictures. Overall such fantastic experience! We'll definitely use their services again!

Hannah walked my dog, Artoo, every day for several months before I moved away from MA in addition to boarding him in her home several times. Hannah clearly loved Artoo like her own and the feeling was mutual... He was so excited to see her! She provided excellent updates each day, was extremely reliable and is SO considerate and friendly. I trust her completely with my fur-baby and would recommend her to anyone looking for a caretaker for theirs!

We found Hannah and reliable ripleys a little over a year ago. Her and Dom have both walked our rescue pit (who can be challenging at times). They both have been so patient with her. She loves having Dom come by. Hannah is so flexible with the schedule, as we sometimes have last minute changes. Recently, our dog ended up getting sick when Dom was there and they were amazing. They called us right away and Dom even stayed with her until someone was able to get home. It’s comforting knowing they truly care for the dogs they care for!

I cannot say enough about Reliable Ripleys. I hired Hannah when I experienced an unexpected life change and needed someone to visit my little guy and take for a walk on my 12 hour shifts at the hospital. It has been over a year now, and not once have I had an issue. The attentiveness and compassion showed to not only my dog, but to my needs as well goes without saying. Hannah's Dad, Dom, has pretty much become my pups pal. He always gives him lots of love as evidenced by the journal of activity and pictures I receive after his visit. He even sits on the floor to be at eye level and close. Definitely would recommend this service if you are in need of pet services. I, myself, will have them for as long as they are in business. You won't be disappointed!!

We can't express how happy we are with Tina's TLC Pet Sitting Service! Tina clearly loves animals and is very reliable. She took excellent care of our two kitties and was very detail oriented. She was on- time and provided detailed updates. We were very anxious about trying a new pet sitter and Tina's professionalism, caring and reliability made for a stress free time away from our babies. Tina took care of our corgi for 6 days, what we liked most about her excellent service is that every day she sent photos to update us on how our dog was doing, she is always available which is good, we will continue to choose her excellent service.

Like any dog owner, I am a bit of an obsessive dog mama. When my Louie is at Tinas, I feel completely at ease that he is getting just as much love as he does when he is at home! Tina takes care of our cats with lots of love and playtime. She sends photo updates and detailed reports of her visits. Our cats love her!

Tina took care of my two cats while I went on vacation. She has cats as well and treated mine as her own. Tina sent updates with pictures every day and knew how to comfort my cats whenever they were nervous. I plan on going back to Tina for future vacations!!

I have used Tina's pet services several times to care for my cats when I was away, She goes above and beyond, She left notes of what the cats did each day, brought toys for them to play with while she was there. She doesn't just feed and empty litter box, she actually spends time with them. She is the best.

Tina's done a wonderful job, she's taken great care of our cats (who need medication and have some other quirks around eating habits) multiple times now. Highly recommend!

A great family business. They take wonderful care of our "troubled teenager" lab/bull mix. They're always happy to see us and our dog always seems eager to go into the kennel which is a good sign that he enjoys himself while he's there. They have a good secure setup to allow the dogs to get some yard/play time and keep away from other dogs. Tons of runs so your chances that they'll have availability, even during holidays, is pretty good. They can be flexible on pick-up and drop-off times as long as you work it out in advance. Highly recommended.

My dog loves it there and the owners are great people. They treat her very well and she always gets excited when she gets to stay.
