Pet Sitting in Esterillos

Louise and Ian were 11/10 sitters! Communication was superb and their travel plans were carefully coordinated according to my schedule for when Gemma would need care. We came back to a house cleaner than we left it, and I could tell Gemma was happy and pleasantly worn out from her many walks and hikes that she enjoyed with Louise and Ian. I’d love to opportunity to host them again and highly recommend for others. Thank you so much!

Sali was wonderful. This was my very first experience with Zeewoi and I am truly impressed. Sali and I zoom chatted a few times prior to her arriving here. She bonded with Maui and Daisy immediately and I fully trusted her with them and my home! Once I returned my home was cleaner than I had left it and all the outdoor plants were happy and lawn watered as well. I can’t wait to have her back in the future. Im looking forward to using this platform for many more opportunities plus I just might just sign up to also pet sit somewhere else in the word. I see this as a win win to get me off my couch and see places I have never been before. At 72 it’s time right? I’m blessed to have learned of this site and very blessed to have Sali as my first sitter.

Exceptional Housesitters! - Aisling and Shane I couldn't have asked for better housesitters than Aisling & Shane. They were incredibly responsible, trustworthy, and attentive to our home and dogs. Aisling and Shange went above and beyond to ensure our house was well-maintained, even through power outages. Our dogs were so happy that when we returned, they still wanted to sleep with Aisling & Shane! They took special care to play with our pups, and photograph and video fun things that they did with them. They were so kind to also send us pictures and videos daily (since we missed our pups so much). We also had them stay with us for a few days ahead of our stay to meet our neighbors and friends. As a special surprise, they even prepared incredible dinners for us! I would highly recommend Aisling and Shane to anyone in need of a reliable and caring housesitter. We hope to be able to have them back in the future for another sit.

We had the pleasure of having Marie take care of our dog, and she did an exceptional job, even when our dog had some unexpected health issues. Marie handled everything with care and attention, keeping us updated throughout. She also left our home in immaculate condition—super clean and tidy! Communication with Marie was smooth and reliable from start to finish. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter!

Daniel and Tabatha are a very nice couple, friendly and always ready to help when they are not very busy working overseas on their computers. They looked after our 2 ponies (only feeding, bringing to the field and back (no stable cleaning) and Tabatha did that very nicely during the days we were away. They looked as well after our 3 dogs without any problems and they (the dogs) seemed very happy when we came back .Although Daniel and Tabitha took excellent care of our animals while we were away, it's a shame that, despite our request, they forgot to water the heat-sensitive plants in our garden. The same applies to their accommodation (a separate studio with own kitchen, bathroom and terrace). It was perfectly clean when they arrived and I have to admit that it would have been nice to find it as clean, the dishes dried and back in the cupboard and their fridge empty of all their food, drinks and started dishes. An excuse message 1 hour after leaving is nice but a little too easy ;-). Could do better next time.

We would give Santiago and Lorianna a whole tree full of stars if we could! Not only did our Elfie fall in love with these two but we did as well! Santiago and Lorianna came four nights early at our request. Unfortunately the day before they arrived I broke my toe and was really struggling to walk the dog. They just took over with walks and feeds which left us time to pack and organize. We were also treated to a wonderful Costa Rican dinner prepared by both…and totally cleaned up afterwards. We received cute videos and reports daily which we really looked forward to a well as little stories to go with them. The house was immaculate upon our return and our dog, I think, was sorry to see us. We will really miss these two but they are not going far. Hopefully we’ll get the pleasure of a weekend visit …no sitting required! Through zeewoi our family is growing in leaps and bounds. Loved these two wonderfully creative human beings and so did our Elfie.

It was a pleasure to welcome Lorraine to Scotland to sit for my cats, Kevyn and Dorothy. Communication was swift and clear from the very first point of contact and throughout the sit, with Lorraine sending me regular photos of the cats. On my return the flat was spotlessly clean and tidy, the litter tray having been obviously recently cleared and the cats looked happy and well-cared for. I'm more than happy to recommend Lorraine as a house and/or pet sitter - she is a thoughtful, careful and conscientious individual who'd be welcome back to care for my cats any time.

Nella and Andres were great sitters. Lily required some extra care during their trip after a medical treatment she received prior to their arrival and they cared for her wonderfully! They sent regular updates and pictures and administered Lily's medications as needed. We returned to a clean home and a happy kitty. We couldn't have asked for nicer sitters and would happily have them sit for us in the future. Thanks Nella and Andres!

We were thrilled to have Ivón & Jesser dog and housesit for us. This was a 2-month assignment and they were diligent about sending us pictures and videos of our babies. They bonded beautifully with our 3 dogs, including one that doesn’t take to new people easily. The house was clean and tidy when we returned. We would not hesitate to have them sit for us again in the future.

This was our first time on the app, it left some things to be desired. The cats were fine and the apt was clean when we arrived, she communicated her travel plans well and in advance, but there were several things that left us a bit uneasy. The Welcome guide and oral instructions were not followed on several occasions, leading to a potentially risky situation both for the safety of the apartment as well as that of the pets (leaving the garden door open while no-one’s home in full holiday season; leaving the window open throughout the whole stay, even if it was clearly indicated to close it when no-one is at home). We would have appreciated a more proactive communication about the wellbeing of the pets while we were away (not telling us right away one of the cats was missing for half a day, in the beginning had to insist to get pictures). Also the cat litter box was not properly cleaned, leading to urine buildup inside the box. There were several things moved or changed inside the apartment, that left us confused, the instructions for the dishwasher were not followed, leading to damaging some of the cutlery, the freezer was not properly closed since days. And communication in general could be much improved (the night before the sit Magui just assumed we would host her, even if that was not agreed upon beforehand - we did invite her to stay and join us for dinner too, but it felt like a demand, not a request; upon arrival pointing to the open door she abruptly ended communication with us). We believed this site to be a two way street, but it honestly did feel like providing a hotel for someone.
