Kathleen has just started cat sitting for my babies. I feel like I won the lottery in finding her! From the first phone call (loved her vibe) to the meet and greet she was so caring and receptive. Her referrals checked out and the rest is history. My cats are both seniors and do require some extra care with meds. She gives my Sassy eye drops 2x a day with no issues. Communication is great! I always receive a text and pics during or after each visit. This means the world to me while not at home and able to take care of my girls. Kathleen is one in a million and you can't go wrong with her and her business. I would give her 100 stars if I could!

Our family and our pets love Kathleen! Our little guys look forward to seeing her for their walks. Kathleen is always professional and very friendly!

Kathleen is dependable, responsible, and absolutely loves animals. She has pet sat for my two reactive and sometimes skittish dogs. They both love her I know I can count on them being safe and well cared for with her.

Kathleen is great with all animals. We have birds, dogs and cats. Even our one dog that hides from EVERYONE has come up and sat on her feet. I love her positive reinforcement techniques. Her compassion truly shines through.

Kathleen has set up her home to be very dog friendly and treated our girls like her own. Her backyard is set up to allow outside time but well fenced, which was very important for our rescue who likes to find a way out. She only books one client at a time so we knew our dogs would just be interacting with hers. Recommended her to a relative who has already used her for a couple of extended stays - highly recommend!

Kathleen is awesome and takes amazing care of our doggos whenever we’ve needed a place for them while we’re away! From feeding, playtime, and text updates with cute pictures, she’s does a great job of communicating with us to make sure that there’s nothing for us to worry about. Highly recommend her services!

November 2024 was the first trip my family has taken since we adopted our German Shepherd, Charlie. She doesn't like being alone and is generally mild tempered. I was nervous trying to figure out a place to house her while we were out of town for a week. We initially looked into a doggy hotel but weren't too thrilled about the limited outside playtime or being potentially medicated if she was too anxious/barking uncontrollably. Charlie isn't an aggressor by any means but she'll stand her ground if barked at. By a stroke of luck I was able to find Kathleen's Pause-4-Paws. I took a leap of faith and trusted everything was going to be ok. We met with Kathleen and her pups before I dropped off Charlie and they all got along well. Charlie has a good sense of people's aura's and she felt comfortable with Kathleen from the very beginning which put me at ease immediately. Kathleen is very warm and inviting. You can just sense how much she loves animals. She kept me updated while I was out of town. With permission she posted video's of Charlie on social media. She sent me links so I could see her. Kathleen was great with communicating and answering any questions I had. It was so nice to be away for a family wedding and not have to stress about how Charlie was doing. I knew she was getting plenty of outside time and playtime. Kathleen was gracious enough to give Charlie treats. Charlie became her shadow and I'm glad Kathleen was ok with that. I hated the idea of Charlie being in a crate for too long every day for a week. Kathleen only takes 1 pet owner's pet at a time and reduces the risk of any potential harm to herself, other dogs, and most importantly, my pup. I'm glad this option worked out so well for us. Kat provides warm and loving care for day visitors and overnight fur babies. They love to snuggle on her lap or couch. Her beautiful dogs Patsy and her tripod , Champ, are great companions. I recommend her highly.

I have known the owner of this business for 10 years. She provides excellent service to her clients. I am really impressed with the extra care she takes with each individual animal ... she really goes the extra mile for them. When dogs stay at her home, it is like a "home away from home" for them. So I needed a dog walker in San Diego who could take care of my best friend while I’m at work. I met Jen and let me tell you something there are dog people in animal lovers and then there is Jen loves pets. They go the extra mile an extra step to make you know and feel comfortable leaving them in charge of your furry friend. While I’m gone, I receive updates of whether my little buddy went one and two, I also receive photos, and sometimes even a video of his antics as he goes for his daily walk It’s very difficult to find someone who cares that much about your animal They don’t treat it as a job they treated as a passion and I can’t believe I looked into finding out about this business because I can’t imagine anyone else walking my Smoky.

This place is a gem! First steps with our puppy such as socialization, some commands and behaviors were so important and helpful to get in place to have an easier time with our dog. We had previous experience, with different dogs we had, with different trainer, but the combination of, Tay, Zoom class and in class dog socialization is brilliant. We took our puppy, Luna, to S.T.A.R puppy course, and Tay in a positive, kind and patient guidance, has helped us shape Luna to a much relaxed, well behaved puppy. As puppy gets so easily distracted, it always good to start with minimal distractions, and add some, once behavior is established, so working from home in Zoom, was an excellent idea, which also left us more time, to communicate with Tay, ask her many questions - to all we got answers. The place where puppies get to socialize, is super clean, you get to see the puppies in video in Zoom, and see how well they manage it. Overall, super easy and enjoyable, not to mention puppy socialization is a must, and well behaved puppy makes life so much simple! Thanks team, and hope to see you in CGC class!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jen and her team! They have taken such good care of our two cats, I will never trust anyone else with them! They are reasonably priced and I love the daily updates and photos they provide. Such a nice touch! Jen has such a kind heart. She really helped us out recently when I was in the hospital longer than planned and we needed last minute care for the cats. I recommend her and her team to everyone I know who has pets!

JenLovesPets is amazing! The team truly loves the pets they care for! They are awesome with more difficult pets too, my dog is reactive when she's on leash and the team stays alert to keep her away from other dogs. I always feel the love in the messages from each visit, and the pictures help ease my separation anxiety from my dog! My dog doesn't always love new people, but she is always ecstatic to see her JLP friends and I'm pretty sure she likes them more than me!

JenLovesPets is amazing! Jennifer and her team are always amazingly attentive and genuinely love their pup-clients. We never have a worry about our babies when Jen’s team is on the job! We have been with her company for over four years. Jen and her team have always been so loving and more importantly EDUCATED on proper care and training (positive reinforcement) with our pups. She even taxied our pups to/from our wedding venue and watched them the entire night of our wedding until we arrived home. I can’t rave enough about this crew! If you genuinely love your fur-family, don’t get a fly-by-app pet service...get the real deal!

JenLovesPets is so awesome! When I had unexpected surgery, I needed a company to come walk my two 8 month old puppies immediately. Jennifer responded and scheduled a time to talk to me almost right away. When we spoke, she was so sympathetic and told me that they could absolutely help. Within an hour, I had a schedule for the next ten days. The walkers have been outstanding! Sweet, kind to the pups, and they send great recaps of their walks. I am so grateful for their support!

Jen Loves Pets is the best pet sitters I've ever used. For the past three years we have trusted them with the care of our cat Mellow when we left town and always come back to a happy and well loved Kitty. Getting daily updates on how he's doing, along with many pictures, really sets your mind at ease. I was always able to relax more knowing he was being taken care of. When I told Jen we were moving she offered to help me find a good pet sitter in my new city. Lisa provides excellent pet sitting. She's reliable, compassionate, and very friendly. She came to our house to pet sit my dogs and birds. My dogs also spent nights at Lisa's where they were well taken care of and able to run around in her fenced back yard---so much nicer than being in a kennel all day! Plus I could call Lisa anytime to see how they were doing.

Phenomenal experiences every time we go. Our dog loves this place so much, he plays and swims and even had a dog bestie! The staff and Lori and Don and honestly everyone we interacted with is friendly and you can tell how much they prioritize and love working with all of the dogs. Don even helped us with some training on one of our long stays and we got a couple pictures too. It is so reassuring to know our fur baby is in such great care when he can’t be with us and also having so much fun. I could not be happier nor could I recommend or rate highly enough! They are by far the ONLY choice for us when we have to go out of town as they loved our pup like he was their own. Thank you so much!

This place is amazing. I cannot overstate how great it is. I work from home 40-50 hours a week. And I have a 5 month old very excitable puppy. Having her go to Two Paws Up twice a week has changed her life and mine. Every single person who works there is great, and I really appreciate them. They really care about the dogs well being in a way that I deeply appreciate. For people looking into dog obedience training, Donnie is great. He's very good at it, and takes the time to explain why to do / not do certain things. I don't do reviews for places very often, but I want everyone to know how much I love this place! And so does my dog!

Two Paws Up is a fantastic facility for anyone looking for daytime, overnight or extended stay options for their dog. The property is divided into different yards and play areas, including a pool. Each animal is treated on an individual basis. Excellent care and supervision is provided by trained staff. Top level customer service at every point in the process. Our 4-yr-old 100-pound German Shepard mix (a rescue) just returned from a 7-day stay (his longest). He came home happy, healthy and clean (free bath w/ extended stay). Our 2 border collies love spending time at Two Paws Up. They have a great time interacting with the other dogs & staff. Freedom to run and play in a safe supervised place makes me happy for them. They come home tired.

I have a golden retriever. We used to go to another place in valley center, but they closed down. And to be honest, I love this place way more!! Someone is always on site, the dogs are not crated but have areas they can sleep and lounge. If you stay more than 5 days, they give you a $20 credit on a dog wash that covers a basic wash. You can also add other grooming services, which is awesome. My dog always comes back clean, happy and tired! My only critiques/what would make it perfect: an up to date IG page for daily pix of the dogs and/or doggie cams...so when I am out of state and missing my dig I can peek in and see all the fun she is having.

Owner Lori really cares about the dogs. I have taken several generations of dogs there and have referred friends to them as well.

Great place! Met the owner, and he was not only su9er nice but gave me some advice on my dog. And all I went there for was to ask, how much? Btw... great price for the services. Honestly, I haven't used the yet, but when I need them, I'm definitely gonna!

These people are the best. My furbabies are my family and I would never leave them with people who didn't treasure them as we do. Lori, Donnie and staff are outstanding. My furbabies are safe, secure and well cared for. The minute we start preparing the car they can't wait to get loaded up to go!! Thank You Two Paws up!!!

I can't say enough good things about Two Paws Up! We have a nervous dog and with Lori and Donnie's experience, they know how to deal with him and help him manage his fears. We send both our pups to the doggie daycare and boarding when needed and they always come back tired and happy. Thanks for everything!

Love, love, love this dog camp! The dogs have fun and they are very well taken care of. My dog gets so excited on "Camp Day" - she loves it there! I highly recommend this dog camp.
