please stay away from this place if you care about your dog. We left our dog for overnight boarding couple of weeks ago here. apparently another dog attacked our dog. The manager called me after the incident and told me when the dogs were playing “a dog’s teeth got caught up” on our dog. We were told they then took him to a veterinary hospital nearby. The whole day I’m thinking it’s a small bike mark of some sort. When I went to the veterinary clinic to pick him up, I was shocked to see half of our dogs leg was ripped apart. I am extremely upset about how they tried to downplay this incident and shared no other information regarding if they had staff watching the dogs, and why no one was able to pull them apart to prevent such a big injury, how it happen, etc. after multiple emails and phone calls. They did pay for the operation, naturally but the whole thing probably could have been prevented. I will never know the facts.!

Jenn and the entire staff at APC are wonderful! Jenn tailors training sessions for our two Schnoodles, and she follows up with a detailed summary, excellent advice and tips. We're already noticing a difference in our two, and we're so grateful to Jenn. Watson and Dottie are happy to go to daycare, which I never expected!

Had to re schedule my grooming appointment once and that was totally fine and understandable, apparently there’s been some nationwide Canine bronchitis that is going on across the United State and APC sent me the urgent message so us customers can be aware! But Stacey gave my puppy a cute haircut look before Christmas and she did an excellent job! Shout out to all of the APC staff for keeping our puppies healthy and Safe! Stanley and I love you guys!🥰🐶P.S. It is not there fault for getting other dogs sick

I go here mainly to have my dogs' nails cut, as I can't do them at home. Stephanie has the magic touch -- she's always been able to trim their nails, even the super-squirmy pups!

We took our dog to the groomer, but they have other services as well. Cut and wash were ok. Scheduling process is very poor. After waiting a month for the appointment, two days before we get a call and the appointment is cancelled and rescheduled for almost a month later. Three days before that appointment, another call to cancel and reschedule again. No effort to apologize or somehow make up for the inconvenience. Employees are ok and seem to like dogs but not exactly friendly toward humans.

Soooo…let’s start from the beginning. 1.Boarded our pup for a few days due to being out of town. When asking about a transport multiple times because our flight wasn’t going to get in until right before pick up hours, they not one single time, reached out to us about whether or not our pup was going to a transport (we asked multiple times) They kept insisting that she stays for one more night. (1st red flag…) 2. When leaving our pup for day care so they could get acclimated, we asked for a report card. We went to see how our girl is doing and if she is making friends. There are no cameras at affectionate pet care like there are at dogtopia. However, there is a SUPER cute window through the gate. She did three days of daycare and not once received a report card on how she was doing. (2nd red flag) 3. When our pup did get back from boarding, she received a report card. TWO days were documented where she did NOT eat. She gets dinner and she did not eat for TWO nights. No phone call, no email, no text message. How can you let a dog go two days without eating food??? (3rd flag.) 4. Our dog ended up with Kennel cough. They have been sick and coughing (sounds like a horn) for the past few days. They are lethargic and we have been having to feed her chicken and rice. (4th red flag.) We Took our pup to the vet once to her primary vet and then to an emergency vet at the discretion of our primary vet, she was the ADMITTED to the hospital for pneumonia in her right lung. I have talked to the owner, Amy, who said she would NOT be informing pet parents that dogs have contracted kennel cough at her facility. She kept wanting the information out our vet and the hospital she was at to try to meddle in the middle. She has done ENOUGH damage to our poor girl. I HIGHLY suggest you read the reviews that have left dogs injured and sick along with the reviews of previous employees. Not only are the dogs getting sick and injured, employees have also expressed discontent with the “facility procedures.” All in all, our experience with Affectionate Pet Care was NOT good. Lack of communication, understanding, and openness was disappointing. If you truly care about the help and well being of your dog, please do NOT go here.

We love affectionate pet care. They take great care of our dog when boarding. The staff is excellent and truly care for the pets.

My dog Lilly has been going to Affectionate Pet Care since she was 4 months. She loves it there. We do daycare several times a week and have done boarding and grooming. I have been satisfied with each. When your dog can't wait to run in the door, you know they must be doing something right! Only complaint--I wish I could see the dogs playing. Either photos (when boarding), viewing area or live video feed. You can get reports on your dogs day that tell you who they played with, but you don't know the type of dog.

I was told right from the start that "A tired dog is a good dog". All puppy owners should keep that in mind. My puppy Pippa has loved everyday she has spent at APC, from her first day (she was asleep within 2 minutes of getting in the car) to her last. She is the most well adjusted, socialized goofball puppy because of your establishment. For me personally, I can't say enough about the staff. They love their job and it shows in their efficiency and the way they love and care for our puppies. When your dog is excited every time you pull on Pickett St and can't wait to get in the building, you know that they are being well cared for while you are at work or on vacation. I'm by no means a "helicopter (dog) mom" even more so when Pippa has been in the care of APC - I always knew she was in good hands. So thank you all for helping raise the well-rounded goofy puppy Pippa Petals Pittman. We both give y'all 10 stars (or biscuits) out of 5!

Our dogs love going to APC. They enjoy daycare, boarding, and grooming all in one location. They are so happy to see all the staff and their furry friends! They come home tired… in a good way. The staff is caring, professional, always helpful with any concerns. Cullen, Charlotte, and the front desk staff are amazing. We are very grateful to have found such an amazing place for our furries.

Love the staff. Erin was a saint and a great helo with my antisocial dog. He is really opening up. Gabriella is the owner and checks in, ut is wonder to do business with people that care for their clients both human and other.

We need a pet sitter for our two dogs for our holiday vacation and found Gabriela (owner) and her Burke Centre Pet Sitting company on line. We contacted her through email and got a quick response and she did a very thorough and complete consult to ensure our needs were met by her and her team. We met a few days before our departure which was day after Christmas. Within two days of our consult, one of our dogs became ill and had to be hospitalized during Christmas Eve due to reaction to a pain medication and was discharged Christmas Day. We contemplated canceling our vacation but didn’t and relied on Gabriela and her team to take care of our dog while she recovered (slowly). She needed medications, extra attention, as well as taking care of another dog while we were away for 5 days. We almost canceled our trip but glad we didn’t as Burke Center Pet Sitting took care of our fukids and helped our sick one recover during our absence. They communicated every day, checked in our dogs multiple times a day, dispensed medications, and cleaned up after a sick dog. Within the first day we were confident we made the right decision. I can go on about how great Burke Centre Pet Sitting is but the simplest way to put it is we put in their hands a dog that was hospitalized Christmas Eve and they were able to take care of her and make us comfortable to enjoy our vacation. I can’t give any testimony better than that. If you are looking for a local (Fairfax/Burke area), professional, and caring Pet Sitting service Gabriela and Burke Centre Pet Sitting is the way to go. I’m so glad I found this company because we’ll be a loyal customer for life.

Our dog Jack, loves Gabriella and Erin! From the minute we met them he was affectionate with them and he's not like that with everyone! My husband says they speak dog. It's true!! Erin cared for Jack for 10 days while we were away and he was so happy and content with her which was such a blessing! Jack can be a bit of a challenge to get outside when we're away, but they had no problems!! Our neighbors raved about the time and attention Erin have him in our absence! They often come middays and we receive the same reliability and care during those visits too!! We are so grateful to have found BCPS!!

I have used this company for two years for pet sitting at my home. We have an older Golden Retriever named Max. Our main pet sitter is a college student named Chris who is so great with dogs. He has watched our dog for as long as two weeks. Chris is excellent about keeping us up to date via txt messages and photos. We first learned about this company when we moved to Burke, and the military family we were renting a house from ( we are retired military but are now working for the government ) gave us a business card from this company. They told us that this company was the best dog walking / sitting company in Burke. The owner of the company, Gabriela, is very professional and really has your pet's interest in mind when she selects a pet sitter / Walker for your dog. She takes the time to get to know you and your pet, and goes the extra mile to provide the best care for your pet. I cannot say enough good things about this company. I don’t know what happened, but I tried to call the store during business hours, and no one picked up the phone. Also, the address for the store is wrong, which makes the location hard to find.

Teddy loves going to the “hotel”! We have used Montrose for over two years and they have been so incredible. The one on one attention they give to each fur baby rather than group play was really what made boarding him here so stress free. The staff are all so lovely and we look forward to the report cards after every visit. We continue to use Montrose even after moving closer to DC since the experience has been nothing but amazing!

Montrose was recommended to us by a family member a year ago and we've been taking our pup there ever since! Their staff is incredibly friendly and very quick to respond if you ever need anything. They even send you email updates with photos of your pup :) Our dog gets so excited to go! Highly recommend Montrose.

We have boarded our dog at montrose pet hotel a few times now. My dog can be finicky and slow to warm up to new people and environments but he runs tail wagging towards the door the second we drop him off which is the only proof I need. The staff all goes above and beyond. They are so professional, friendly and I can tell they genuinely care about the animals that stay with them. My dog always comes back smelling clean and with a fun little report card summarizing his stay which is a nice touch. I am confident when I leave my dog at MPH he is in good hands.

Our reactive dog stayed for a trial two days (one night) and they apparently made him feel completely comfortable! He even ate, and got along with everyone! Thanks for giving our little monster a lovely time!

Our pets stayed there for an entire week and seemed to have a blast. Any time we called to check on our pups the staff was so respectful and receptive. It was clear that they cared and spent time with our dogs!

Absolutely the best place to take care of my dog and the only place I trust completely. I have used their help on four different occasions over the last two years, my dog is always happy. Everyone I have met there is kind, friendly and patient, the place is always very clean. Communication has also been great: they never failed to send an email with a picture and reassure me that my dog was doing well. I very much appreciate the concern they showed when he got sick one day. We now use the vet in the same building - his experience has been priceless. Many thanks to all!!!

Very helpful with making reservations, they returned my call. Our dogs were well taken care of. We got a sort of report card when picking them up that had a pic of them playing & a few notes on how they did, really liked that extra customer service effort. Friendly drop off and pick up staff. I will definitely use them again in the future.

LOVE Montrose Pet Hotel! We boarded our greyhounds (read: high maintenance!) here in a double cabin. The care takers are so good with each animal - ours are big babies and they were handled with love and care into the kennel area. We received a printout detailing how their stay went along with a picture of each dog during play time. Play time is separate for each dog unless they are "siblings." Knowing that our favorite vet is now overseeing the Pet Hotel gives us peace of mind knowing our fur babies are getting the best care. Thank you Dr T!

Pooch Pals is a seriously fantastic company, and I am so grateful that I found them last year. Josh, the owner, is very professional and based upon my experiences with our mid-day walker, Jodi, only works with the very best. I was very impressed at the speed at which I was contacted after making my first online inquiry into the services offered, not to mention how accommodating Josh was in scheduling a meeting time with me and my dogs that very same day. Our walker, Jodi, is absolutely fantastic and gives the dogs all of the love, attention, and exercise that they need mid-day. I seriously cannot be more grateful for all that they do for me and mine, and wholeheartedly recommend the company to everyone looking for a walking/boarding/etc service in the area.

Had an amazing experience with Pooch Pals! Micaela took great care of our pup, even though he was scared to meet a stranger she coaxed him out and was as happy as ever when we got home. Josh has been great to work w and highly recommend him for dog walks. He’s very responsive and has a really sound operation running - the app he uses allows you to see exactly when he gets to your house, the route of the walk and when he finishes, then leaves a short review. I've used Pooch Pals for several years and have had great service, including week-long stays at our house when we're out of town. Our two dogs are crazy about Josh and Jodi. One of our dogs tends to be aggressive; Josh is great with him and commands respect while still being gentle.

Josh gave us training lessons to practice with our 18 month old puppy. He did a great job demonstrating the intention of commands, explaining the perspective of our dog, and illustrating the positive outcomes. After just a couple lessons, our relationship with our dog improved greatly. Our dog could wait while we greet people, stay back from the table during dinner, and relax around his crate (he’s a crate-traumatized rescue). We also learned a lot from Josh about how to walk our dog so that everyone enjoys the walk (rather our dog tugging and pulling the entire way!). Josh was able to provide the lessons at days/times that met our busy schedule and did so in a friendly, approachable manner. He was happy to take questions and gave additional suggestions for further training to improve recall and social interactions with our dog. Even though we previously had a family dog, we learned A LOT about dogs from Josh, that makes living with our dog and interacting with other dogs so much better. Highly recommend!

I recently started working with Kim’s Urban Hounds to help me walk my dog. Having certain medical conditions make it difficult to walk and also up and down stairs. Kim and her staff have been wonderful! They’re friendly, accommodating, understanding, supportive, helpful, and caring. Me and my dog always feel comfortable with them. Kim’s Urban Hounds did a great job taking care of our senior “pup” while we were away. Our situation was a little unique in that they were able to partner with some of my family who stayed with him to make sure that he had the medical care he needed. They were very flexible and accommodating to what worked best for us. Our elderly dog Carson has mobility issues and struggles to stand on his own, but I received word that he stood up by himself once when Brandon arrived for his daily walk! That was great evidence that Carson really felt comfortable with Brandon, and was happy to see him. Kim’s Urban Hounds has an app that was very convenient. It provided us with one place for our conversations, scheduling calendar, payment info, etc. They also sent daily reports with how his visits went so I knew how his days were going. This gave me peace of mind. If I had a question or concern, Kim or another member of her staff would return my message promptly. I have 2 dogs and the older one just had surgery and is confined for a few months. I wondered what I would do. Reach out to these folks, received a very positive and quick response. Had a meet and great where my younger dog gave Kim kisses. He's excited every time I get him ready for his walk. He's a beagle and barks like crazy when she shows up. Completely happy with this experience and my dog Rollo is too (that's the most important thing). Highly recommend this company, I get instant feed back from the walks with photos and videos!

I recently moved and was delighted to find that I am still living in the area serviced by Kim’s Urban Hounds. Their dog walkers have always been great! They are reliable, prompt and love dogs. Last year I tore a hamstring muscle and could barely walk. I called Kim’s and they promptly sent someone to walk my dog Samson and continued to walk him until I recovered. I’m doubly pleased to know that Martin works in my current neighborhood—Samson loves him to death!! I look forward to being able to leave home for a few hours knowing that Samson will have company and get a good walk while I’m away!

My wife & I have a beautiful Standard Poodle who is just a year & 1/2. I recently purchased in home camera primarily for security reasons because we live in an apartment. Well! What I did not know was our Poodle was insecure & had major anxiety, crying & whining for hours. We use Kim's Dog Walking Service Monday, Wednesdays & Fridays which the walker is so friendly & we get Report Card after every walk. This was not enough to help with our Poodles anxiety so we adopted an 8 month mixed hound. Wow! Guess what, it worked & Kim's dog walking service would not charge us for the additional new dog we had. Our Poodle had so much fun with our new puppy until our newly adopted dog was struck with a unique pneumonia after having her for just 3 weeks. Our little hound was hospitalized for 4 days with oxygen & was released to us in such poor condition. I could not feed her, she would not open her mouth for me & at the same time my wife was out of town for 4 days. My wife called Kim from Charlotte for consultation & within an hour, Kim is at our apartment taking care of newly adopted puppy. She brought with her food, syringes to help feed & water the dog. I was at work & when I came home my wife told me Kim was going swing by that evening & give me instruction on how to care for my puppy. Guess what! Kim was there & the next morning & evening for 3 straight days providing such loving care. After 3 days on a Sunday morning & my wife still out of town, Kim & I decided we could not save her. Of course it was my decision & Kim even cried helping me carry my newly adopted dog to the car. I have never met such courageous, loving women like Kim besides my wife. Her dog walking service is AMAZING! Her staff does not just walk our dogs but talks with our dog(s) & engages. The report cards are the best. The Great Catsby has been great to work wirh! I moved and then needed a very last minute cat sitter for a business trip. I realized my old cat sitter was out of network, who then recommended The Great Catsby. Callie quickly jumped in to help. Their team is so good with cats! I loved all the pictures I got while I was away and also the comfort of knowing my cat was in good hands. Callie was extremely knowledgeable and asked me great questions to ensure my cat, Pretzel, was well taken care of. I also love the report card! Also, just the level of consideration to checking in with you to make sure you got back! Thank you.

The Great Catsby is the way I can FINALLY enjoy vacations again! My Brownie is asthmatic & uses an inhaler. Callie & her crew come twice a day to check in on her… she gets her inhaler, food, clean litter, & 30 minutes of love, brushing & play at each visit! She rushes to meet them & they let her guide the visit!!! The pictures & reports are fabulous, & Brownie is a happy girl!!!

We met with Callie months ago and she was thorough in gaining details for our cat (habits, eating, etc). After the initial meeting, I felt super confident we were in good hands. We were first time users with the Great Catsby Care and Morgan/Barbara provided detailed reports and great pictures while we were away! It really helped us to be at ease on our vacation knowing our cat was well taken care of by his team! We cannot recommend enough, the Great Catsby Care!

Morgan & Callie took care of our babies while we were on vacation for a week and we looked forward to their updates everyday! We have very anxious kitties and they brought a Feliway defuser to calm them which was very thoughtful. They played with them, gave them treats, served food & fresh water, cleaned the litter box, and took care of any messes. We were so happy with their services that we already booked them for our next trip out of town!

I have been using Callie and her Team with the Great Catsby Care for a little under a year now and half a dozen visits and plenty more planned. I can't say anything but positive things. We have used Paw pals pet sitting on multiple occasions for our bunnies while we are away. Many pet sitters are not interested in small pets however; Mary and her team, are amazing and we trust her implicitly! We are very happy with the outstanding service we have received from her team including texts and photos of our pets when we are out of town. They always go the extra mile and we highly recommend them!

Highly recommend as pet sitters! Initially, a sitter from the company will visit the house to meet the pets and learn where everything is. Tatiana took careful notes and we got her some spare keys. While we are away, Paw Pals sends sitters to come and look after our boys. They feed them, scoop litter, bring in mail and packages, and they will even manage trash, recycling, blinds and lights so that everything is comfortable for our kitties. Each time they check in, we receive an email message with updates and pictures, which is so comforting when we are on the road. Also, if you don’t let Paw Pals know when you are home, they assume something has happened and will continue to care for your babies. If something were to happen, I know they would be okay. Five stars for Paw Pals!

The folks at Paw Pals pet sitting are fantastic to work with. This review includes a bit of a long story but goes to show how dedicated they are to their job and the care they have for the animals they watch over. I reached out to Paw Pals, even though I live outside their service area, in a bit of a panic because our scheduled dog sitter for our family vacation suddenly wasn't available. The local sitters we've used in the past seemed like they wouldn't be able to accommodate us on such late notice and so we were scouring the internet for other options. When I submitted a request to Paw Pals, I expected to get a polite no thank you - you're out of our service area. Instead I got a call from Jen, who was so kind, helpful and accommodating and essentially bent over backwards to help set up a sitter for us. We met the sitter at her home and it was more of the same. So friendly and welcoming to our dog and fully prepared to watch her for two weeks. We ultimately didn't end up booking with Paw Pals, only because our local sitter had an opening that allowed someone to stay in home with our dog (who is a very anxious senior shepherd-collie mix). But just based on the limited experience I had with them, I would highly recommend Paw Pals. These folks are fantastic and I only wish we lived closer so we could utilize their other services on a regular basis. Five stars all the way!

I have used Paw Pals for several trips over the last few months, and they have been phenomenal every time! Mary is extremely kind and responsive, and she makes sure that my cat and dog have the care that they need every time I am out of town. All of the pet sitters that I've had have been incredibly sweet to my pets, and they treat them like their own! Will gladly continue using Paw Pals every time I need a sitter.

We used Paw Pals for our two cats during the holidays (2 weeks). Our experience was absolutely amazing! From the amazing communication we had with the Paw Pals team and the cat sitters to the amazing job they did with our cats. One of our cats has always been reluctant to meet new people but after these two weeks she's now the first to greet anyone! I love the updates with pictures you get after each visit which is something I always looked forward to while missing our cats. Part of our holiday included being on a cruiseship which left us with very little internet connectivity but at no point did I feel the need to worry as we knew our cats were in great hands. Very positive experience working with Paw Pals Pet Siting. Owner, Mary Telesz, came to our home to meet our pets and get accustomed to their daily routine. When we were away she sent updates and pictures to let us know they were doing well. I (and my dog, Cider!) absolutely love Dog Topia Fairfax City! Cider goes to daycare there once a week (he has the one day, weekly wellness plan option), and he loves all the staff and his fur-iends. He loves going to play, exercise, and socialize, and he enjoys both the inside and outside facilities. Cider also has had his nails trimmed there at the “spa” multiple times, which is very convenient. We are very grateful for Dog Topia Fairfax City!

Lulu loves her days at Fairfax Dogtopia! The staff is wonderful and make her feel special, the grooming services are great too! She’s cautious around people but loves the staff and trusts them, it’s really helping her with her anxiety. She gets so excited when we pull around the corner and see the building!

Luray loves Dogtopia Fairfax City! She is excited to go to school to play with the other dogs. I like that there is an outdoor area the dogs can use when the weather cooperates. We love the photo days and the times she can participate in the special treat days! The front staff is welcoming and love Luray too! The report cards are a nice touch!!

With busy school and work schedules and a high-energy Labradoodle, my family sought a safe, fun, and welcoming place for him a couple days per week. Dogtopia in Fairfax City delivered. We can tell how much he enjoys spending time with the other dogs there. The great staff is friendly and caring, too!

I love this place and so does my baby! Let me tell you how satisfied I am with the care she receives: the socialization, the technology, and the caring nature of the staff. She loves them and it's obvious they love her! All I have to say is, "Let's go to school" and she beats me to the door. Nelson and those are wonderful!

Recently joined Dogtopia for day care and future boarding. So far my dog has been very positive here. The other day care we tried he would howl and resist going back to join the other dogs. Here he is happy and secure. That is very important to me as he is a rescue that we have worked hard to protect and reduce stress and separation anxiety. Glad to have found Dogtopia.

Dogtopia of Fairfax City is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!! The staff is truly amazing, they love and care for my dog as if he was their own and in return my dog believes they are his 2nd family. He is always so happy and excited to go to daycare and as his mom, there is nothing I want more than for him to be happy, healthy and loved - Dogtopia of Fairfax City checks all these boxes. They go above and beyond everyday and I am so lucky to have them take care of my furbaby.

Tried to drop off my dog for boarding around 12:30 on 12/24. Just noticed the sign that states the lobby is closed between 12-2. There were 3 workers sitting there not really doing anything. No one had the common courtesy to come to the door to explain to me the timing. They just sat there and looked at me with my dog, her food and bed. Not off to a good start.

Dogtopia has been a godsend! Our 1 year Doberman gets all the exercise he needs. He's a different dog (in a good way). Being able to watch him on the Webcam is a huge plus. Well worth the cost. The staff are great. We love Dogtopia

Dogtopia is amazing - my pup goes to the Fairfax city location. The staff is fantastic and she always has a great time. I have been taking my puppy Angus to Playful Pack both for daycare, and for boarding. He LOVES the staff, the other dogs, and has a wonderful time there. I love the updates, the photos, the live webcam, and the report cards - especially when he stays overnight, its so great to get all those updates and see how much fun he is having. The photo I've attached to this review show more than I can say - his big smile while he is having a great time with all his friends. This is my boy the day after daycare. He plays so hard he needs 2 days to recover 🤣🤣🤣 all staff at Fairfax station is great with my big boy. As soon as we get close to the day care he already knows. He is always greeted with so much love he’s ready for all the day. We have done day care, bath and grooming. All have been very pleasant. He seems very happy and well taken care of. I appreciate being able to see him at any moment through the camera. Everyone there is courteous and very friendly. Thank you for always treating my big boy well. Pricing is fair and competitive with all the other daycares/boarding. I’m glad they took the time to evaluate him and other dog to make sure all behavior with other dogs and staff were appropriate to be around. Thanks for taking the time with Barrett. 💙🤎🖤

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. My 3 year old coonhound mix, Ruby, was always greeted with a smile. She was guaranteed to be wiped out when I picked her up. The staff does a great job with daily activities, providing report cards, and pictures. Highly recommended

Our sweet baby Sunny spent two nights boarded here last weekend, and returned to us safe, happy, and clearly loved. It is so reassuring to know we have a trustworthy spot for our girl when needed. The report cards each day gave us peace of mind that she was eating well and enjoying play time with the pack, and the staff handled her serious food allergies professionally and lovingly. Friendly and easy to work with. Reasonable priced. They are very flexible and great at communicating. Our pup Zelda is a regular and we love the pup report card! The cameras are also great to check in and make sure you pup is treating their staff right.

The best doggy daycare & boarding in Northern VA! This is a locally owned, family business and they are some of the most hard working and friendly people you’ll meet! The staff is great and facility is always clean & inviting. Our 4 month old frenchie needed to be socialized and this is his favorite place. He truly lives his best life with all of his new besties and gets all his energy out (very helpful when we’ve had a long work day)! I love that I can check in on the webcams as well and they will also take update pics ☺️ Highly recommend Playful Pack and they also do free evaluation & daycare if you’re new to the pack! Also opening new locations around nova which is super convenient!

Shadow loves playful pack! The staff is loving and attentive. We can watch on the camera and watch the dogs play and Shadow always comes home exhausted from her play days. We also have had a wonderful boarding experience when having some work done in the house. Glad we have found your team.

This place is wonderful! My dog genuinely gets so excited when we arrive and sleeps so hard when we pick her up. I love that there's someone there overnight when boarding (and my dog gets to sleep in a deluxe condo that fits her whole dog bed), and I love getting the adorable pictures on her report card! So glad we found this place!

The small staff and size makes the experience very personal. They know Jazz when she arrives even when she hasn't been for awhile. I like that the dogs are not crated during the day and get lots of play and human interaction. They also have the doggie cam so you can check in and watch your pup. Really great place for daycare or boarding.

Absolutely love this place. My pup always has an amazing time, comes home tired, and I get to check in on how he is doing with their webcameras. Their daily themes/activities keep my pups mind active. I always know he is safe and that the staff love him as much as he loves them.

Yeah, it's a no for me, dawg. I took my dog to Fur-Get Me Not on Monday, December 9 at 3:15 PM for a daycare evaluation. Upon entry, I wasn't greeted particularly warmly by the front desk staff, but they did direct me to the person who would be completing my dog's evaluation. As the staff member, Christopher, who was actually completing my dog's evaluation was friendly and inviting, I did not think too much about the front desk staff. The evaluation cost $25 and it took about 20 minutes. Christopher took my dog to the back and had her meet other dogs and staff members. When the evaluation was over, he informed me that she had passed and answered most of my questions. I asked him what the pricing was for daycare, because it was not listed on the FAQ page that he provided me. He told me he didn't know, but that the front desk staff would be able to answer my question. After wrapping up to the evaluation, I walked over to the front desk to inquire about pricing for daycare. Keep in mind that while this is a full-service dog care facility, it seems that the main service-- or at least one of the most popular services-- that this facility provides is dog daycare. I asked the woman sitting at the desk about pricing. She told me something along the lines of, "we don't have the pricing listed on the brochure, but it is online." I then asked if she could just tell me the pricing. (I'm literally standing at the front desk at this point where they are supposed to answer questions about their services-- wouldn't you just tell me the price instead of directing me to go look it up for myself?!) She then responds "for what?!" with an mistakable air of annoyance. Now, I would expect a front desk staff member to say something like, "sure, for which service?" The way she phrased her question seems like I was bothering her. I responded "for daycare" and then, she said "well let me just pull up the website and look..." The entire interaction was odd, like she was doing me a favor by providing pertinent info about the business at which she works. Also, why there isn't signage with the pricing for daycare at the front desk, who knows? I do know one thing though: if you act like I'm bothering you by asking you to do things within the scope of your job, I won't bother to spend my coins.

My dog loves it here! He always has the best day and is exhausted when he gets home lol. I love that they do cute activities for the holidays, make training recommendations when needed, and have pretty much everything you need. I love how they divide the groups based on size, temperament, etc, because our last daycare just put all dogs together in one big group, which was overstimulating for him at times. I can’t recommend them enough and every staff member has been SO sweet and helpful.

I can't say enough good things about the dog training classes here! Before we started training, my dog was extremely reactive to other dogs, making walks and outings very stressful. After attending Julie’s and Malia’s classes, I've seen such a transformation in my dog's behavior. Julie and Malia are incredibly patient and knowledgeable, and they gave me the tools I needed to help my dog stay calm and focused, even around other dogs. My dog is able to attend daycare without any behavior issues and even plays with other dogs. She is still introverted and barks from time to time, but it’s much more manageable now. On top of that, my dog has always been very fearful of loud noises, which made everyday situations challenging, especially living in the city with all trains, airplanes, and traffic. Thanks to the confidence-building exercises we learned, I've noticed a huge improvement in how she handles her fears. She’s still afraid of thunderstorms and car rides though. However, the most important lessons I learned from the classes are how to identify my dog’s triggers and knowing how to best support her through those challenges. It’s made our bond much stronger now.

I am so grateful to the whole team at Fur-Get Me Not for the amazing care that my dogs have received there. We’ve done training, daycare, and boarding, and always had a great experience. Definitely recommend.

I have a dog, Ari, with behavioral and medical issues, specifically the canine version of ADHD (low frustration tolerance, poor impulse control, the attention span of a space cadet), anxiety and diabetes insipidus, which exacerbated his anxiety. When Ari was a pup, his behavior got so bad that I considered giving him back to his rescue but was nervous he'd bite a less understanding person and be put down. (He's a cattle dog. They nip. He was nipping A LOT with little inhibition.) While I was waiting to get an appointment with ABWC, we started doing 1:1 training at Fur-Get Me Not (FMN), and then moved to impulse control classes, drastically improving his behavior, which proper medication helped support. Anyway... I moved Ari to FMN daycare after I noticed how upset he was being dropped off at our last daycare — and after having to extract from staff that he was having ADHD-typical "toddler meltdowns" during the day from overstimulation, during which he'd bark and nip, so he'd end up in "time out" for large portions of the day. (Why didn't they tell me!?) FMN daycare's structured environment with a midday treat and the option to add on the 1:1 attention time Ari needs to have a lower anxiety experience make all the difference. With their detailed report cards, I know if he needs more X or less Y to achieve his best behavior. And midday snuggles help him a lot. Highly recommend!

I first came across furget-me-not training when I was looking for fun classes my dog and I could take on the weekends. My interest was piqued at their Reactive Dogs classes, since I knew it took a special type of understanding and expertise to work with reactive dogs. So I signed up my dog, Arnold, him being a reactive dog. Over the course of the 6 weeks, we were able to feel really reassured that our years of training and work was going in the right direction. I was really appreciative of how patient, kind, and knowledgeable Juliet and Malia were during each class. They were also flexible and attentive to each student - when they saw Arnold was already comfortable with some skills, they would give us helpful tips on how to make it more challenging or purposefully give us opportunities to challenge Arnold a bit more. We were more than happy to practice some skills we already knew in a live classroom AND learn new ones with other dogs in a controlled environment. The tools Juliet and Malia gave us are now engrained in us, and I can genuinely say that it has helped Arnold improve in just 6 short weeks - I haven’t seen this rate of improvement in him over the YEARS we have been practicing on our own. Just the other week, he had absolute no reaction to people cleaning our home, when 6 weeks ago he was barking his head off at them. I feel much more confident in my skills as Arnold’s mom and handler, and I also feel closer and more understanding of my dog. I have been recommending furget-me-not training to several friends, and I stand by it. They know their stuff. I can’t wait to come back for Reactive 2 and explore the other classes that can really help us and Arnold learn the tools and skills that will help him shine and be the best version of himself no matter the challenge! I love that when I drop my puppy off for daycare, her tail starts wagging before I even park the car. The staff greets her by name with lots of pets and attention. She comes home a tired and happy pup. The staff has been very flexible, accommodating and helpful. I definitely recommend this daycare to others.

Not really feasible. We dropped our Huskey here a couple of times, but one employee insisted that we only only bring him on weekends simply because he barked too much at pickup times. This was despite our dog getting stellar behavior comments from the other employees. We explained that he was vocal because it is a standard huskey characteristic, but he simply did not like our dog. Upon further questioning, we determined that he did not even read the directions we left with our dog and did not even know the dog's gender despite multiple corrections. Weekend daycare is useless to us and we have no time for flaky sensitive employees. We use the place down the road now.

In an area with so many daycare/boarding options I can imagine its difficult to compete however Fur-Get Me Not has won us over. Two months of day care, a full week of boarding, and a great consultation experience. Its team is always open to questions we may have and its nice to see a variety of interactive toys locally. I truly believe the environment here has helped our younger dog come out of her shell and be more social. Highly recommend.

I'm new to the area and found Fur Get Me Not through a Google search and I have had a wonderful experience so far! They have been very good to my dog and I really appreciate how much they communicate with dog owners. I think if you're looking for a place that will make you feel better about leaving your dog for daycare or boarding, this is the place.
