They provided daily updates and sent daily pics. Chipper is a relatively easy sit and we're glad that Nicole and Gino got to experience some of the Knoxville area in the short time that they were here. Nicole also took care of our plants, both indoor and outdoor, and kept the house spotless. If they are ever available for a future sit, then they are welcome back at any time.

On a scale of 1 to 5 (with 5 as best) we would rate Maria and Lu as 12 or better. They should be the poster people for all house/pet sitters. They dealt with a difficult situation when the Koi began to spawn and left the house better than they found it. They seemed to enjoy their stay and our dog loved them. They even did extra chores above and beyond such as cleaning the BBQ, changing light bulbs, and organizing the garage. Communication was excellent and they even left several home cooked meals for us so that we would not have to cook on our first day back. We invited them back for another stay in August and they accepted. We feel that we not only found great sitters, but great friends that we hope to see often in the future.

Knowing my dog Dolly was loved and well cared for while I was on vacation was a huge relief . Beth and Mark sent me regular updates about Dolly . I knew Dolly was content and happy. We recently had the pleasure of having Gail and her grandson house/pet sit for us, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Gail was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond with all of my pups! They took care of my pets as if they were their own, and I could tell that my animals were happy and well cared for while I was away. Gail was incredibly flexible, communicated well, and sent me daily updates and pictures of my pets, which put my mind at ease. When I returned home, not only were my pets happy, but my house was also spotless. I have never felt more comfortable leaving my pets in someone else's care. Kate and Nate and their daughters, fresh off the plane from the USA, embraced our set up here and were immediately warm and lovely with Buster and Daniel. They cared for our boys and home perfectly over the couple of days they stayed. This sit was the start of a round the world trip for this family - which will end 12 months from now back in England and we hope they’ll come back here!

Pets are the sweetest and most innocent and need love and care always!
Gina kept my babies when i was in Europe for a month. There was a bit of confusion about her arrival time (am vs pm) so I was gone before she arrived. She was very caring with my animals and i am sure my cat misses her brushing time with Gina! She took Darcy to the dog park and arranged to meet with one of Darcy’s friends so they could often go at the same time. My house was in great shape when I came home. It was really like no one had even been there! I would recommend her without reservation!

Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden. The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom. Already scheduled a second sit! If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.

Melissa did an AWESOME job with our 4 pets! Her personal style and communication via text, video, and pics were stellar and super comforting while we were out of town for 2 weeks. She showed up before the sit to go over instructions for the pet care and was even here when we returned (before she left for her next engagement). You would never know this was her first TH sit. She quickly earned our trust, asked for clarification when needed, and overall is just a GREAT PERSON!! Her kindness showed through in the care of each and every one of our furry babies. We were so happy to have Kyle as our house sitter for two weeks. Besides taking great care of our pets and our house, he was very accommodating. We were always able to get in touch with him if we needed to, and he agreed to take on some extra plant watering’s when the weather made a sudden change. Thomas did an amazing job! We were very pleased with how well he was able to care for our 3 active Boston terriers. He was able to handle all 3 on a walk and feed them their special meal everyday. He even ventured out and took them to the beach which is no easy task for 3 excited dogs. Thomas did a great job communicating before and during the stay. We came home to a clean house with bedding washed. We had a handful of other pet sitters through this website and Thomas easily rates at the top of our list. Absolutely Incredible.... I will not lie, I was hesitant because David did not have any pet sits before this one (gotta start somewhere) but because he did the background check I decided to contact him. We had a great phone conversation and the decision was made. He came to my house the night before I was leaving to learn all the ins and outs of taking care of my fur babies and then put himself up in a hotel for the night before the sit date. The next day he came over in the morning to learn a few more details before I left. I could not have chosen a better house sitter for my 2nd house sit . David communicated with me daily, sent pictures and we spoke via facetime. My little guy was feeling sick when David started and with diligence, love and kindness he was able to get my little guy eating again and feeling better. I would invite David back into my home over and over again but I am pretty sure he is going to be in high demand. Thank you David for everything!
