Shallene was a wonderful sitter. She was easy to communicate with, clear and responded in a timely manner. We came home to a happy healthy pup who had clearly been given lots of walks and love. She sent us the most adorable pictures on a daily basis, and we felt very comfortable that Annie was in good hands. The house was spotless and the plants well maintained. Ken & Debra were absolutely amazing sitters! They were so excited to spend time with River and it really showed throughout their stay. We met them the night before leaving and they both were very thoughtful about asking questions and learning what to do to make sure River got everything he needed. Throughout their stay, they sent us lots of updates and communicated easily. In all of the photos we received, River seemed to be having the best time with them as they took him out on adventure after adventure. We returned to an immaculately cleaned house. Ken & Debra went above and beyond, replacing supplies around the house they noticed we were low on, even getting new windshield wipers for our car they borrowed during their stay as they were worn out. It was clear they genuinely cared about River, our house, and left everything better than they found it. We’d love to have them back anytime and highly recommend to anyone else looking!

Overall Jamie was an amazing sitter! We were out of service for the first few days of their stay which made me a little nervous with Jamie because she seemed she would be “high touch” but it went super smoothly. She sent great updates of our cat Ashi once we had reception. Best of all the house was absolutely spotless when we got back. Would have her back any day.

They communicated well throughout the entire process and provided us with regular updates on their activities with the dogs. They left the house very tidy and double checked prior to leaving to make sure they were leaving it appropriately. We would invite them in again.

We feel like we’ve won the pet and house sitter lotto with Scott. Most importantly, he’s taken great care of our much loved little dog, giving him a lot of care, affection and attention. He paid close attention when Tingsha began scratching (allergy to an insect bite) which needed vet care, with great communication with us. He even took Tingsha to his agility school class each week (great fun had by all) and to get a groom. We’ve come home to a contented and very happy dog. The house is spotless, cleaner than we left it, with fresh flowers and the bed all made up. Perfect! We had regular contact with Scott all through our five week trip and being “fellow travellers” (in all senses) enjoyed sharing lots of local travel tips and experiences as we each visited new parts of the world. We were happy to lend Scott our car and he’s been great with it, super responsible. Scott is a really terrific guy and a fabulous journalist and story teller (you must listen to his podcast about his travels, it’s a cracker). In sharing our home and trusting our beloved dog with him, we feel like we’ve made a new friend along the way. We recommend Scott without any hesitation and thank him for a wonderful experience, we’d love him to come back and see us, anytime. Thanks a bunch!

Tina was a fantastic house/pet sitter for my cat Trixie - I can’t recommend her enough! She was very communicative and also self sufficient and I felt completely at peace with Trixie in her care. She took it upon herself to water my plants and also trimmed Trixie’s nails, which I always struggle with! She provided perfect company for Trixie, playing with her, brushing her, loving her and giving her daily medicine. She also left my apartment in perfect condition. I would gladly have Tina pet sit again. A 10/10 experience.

Angie and Joe were fabulous pet/house sitters and overall people! Angie sent daily updates with photos. Really appreciate the extra effort they put into watering the grass and garden. The house was exactly the same as when I left (including sheets/towel washed, beds made, frig cleaned, dishes put away and trash taken out...). Pretty sure Mia was looking for them the next day as she ran to the guest bedroom. Already scheduled a second sit! If you're lucky enough to land them as pet sitter then you're lucky.

Kyle was a great house sitter and pet sitter for us. We had a good dialogue prior to him sitting for us, and we also did a short walkthrough the week before. Kyle formed a great bond with our dog Charlie and also took good care of our rabbit Poppy. A couple of minor issues came up with systems in our home due to an unexpected power outage, and Kyle was quick to connect with us and then was able to work 1:1 with the service providers to resolve the issues. We look forward to working with Kyle again.

Jacob sat for us during our holiday in March. We do not have any pets but we do have garden plants etc to look after. Jacob did a fantastic job of looking after the young plants that had arrived by post the day before we went away. He sent us regular updates and photos of how the plants were doing. We came home to a very clean and tidy house and thriving plants. Jacob did a great job and we have no hesitation in recommending him. If he comes back to the Uk and we require a sitter we will contact him first. Well done Jacob.

Tom was the PERFECT pet and house sitter. I went out of town for a while after my dad passed, and I had a few pet sitters bail before he came in for the rescue. He cleaned up the messes and I came home to a clean house and VERY happy babies! My two dogs LOVED him. He is extremely reliable, clean, trustworthy and was incredibly caring to my dogs. My experience with Whitney’s Waggin Pet Care couldn’t have gone better. Whitney was good to keep me posted on Goldie(my dog) and her schedule throughout the day. She would journal Goldie’s routine and send the information to me daily. I didn’t worry about Goldie at all because I knew she was in good hands. I would highly recommend Whitney to take care of your pet.
Whitney is amazing. She is very professional in The way she runs her business. She sent me updates, pictures and video of my pup every single day she stayed with her. She was prompt to respond to my texts and or emails. My dog was so happy there! If you need someone to watch your pet make sure you call Whitney. Roger has trained my hunting dogs since the 1990s. He has a way with dogs and knows the nuances of breeds, their characteristics and abilities, as well as the individual characteristics of each dog he worked with. Our dogs performed well, sometimes placing high in field trials due to his training and our devotion. He is currently working with my dog, a breed relatively unknown in the states. She is developing an intuition for wild birds. I am satisfied with the resruts Roger has produced.
We won’t board our two heelers anywhere else! Roger and his team have been fantastic with our high energy girls which gives us peace of mind when we’re away. They get excited when we pull into the driveway to drop them off which is all we could ever ask for! Roger is quick to respond and always a pleasure to chat with.
I’ve trained bird dogs with Roger Miller for 30 years. I’ve always ended up with a dog that I’m very happy with. The man knows what he is doing with dogs and does a great job training the owner as well. He runs a great kennel and I’ve trusted him to board my dogs while I’ve been away. I also do a lot of hunting of his game birds. It’s really a one-stop shop with my dog needs. I wouldn’t trust my dogs or training a dog to anyone else.
Roger has trained four generations of our English Setters and rescued German Shorthaired Pointers. He's also trained us. As a result, we've always enjoyed wonderful family dogs that know and love their job in the field.
My dog came home with wounds on his legs and jaw. Bumps around his eyes and mouth. Dehydrated and not himself at all. He also won't eat or drink unless we practically force him. He's lethargic and sleeping for only a few minutes at a time. Will not recommend to anyone
Miller Kennels is the best. We are so thankful to have found a trainer/kennel that not only loves our dog, but our dog LOVES going. We started our pointing lab late on training (got him at the beginning of the winter months), but Roger was so patient and persistent with his methods that within a year Wyatt was pointing and holding on birds consistently. I don't have enough good things to say about our experiences with Miller Kennels, and I really don't know what we would do without him. Five stars, two thumbs up, standing ovation- send your dogs to Roger- you will be glad you did!!
Roger is an experienced and savvy dog trainer coming from police dog training to training hunting dogs. He works hard and takes care of your dogs. This guy knows dogs like nobody I have ever met.
The place is amazing for those who want to put in the time into training their dogs in areas such as scent training or hunting ( though you need to put in your time to your dog for the training to actually work ) Kennels are well maintained and during cold he will either bring them into the heated room or add bedding and blankets to it ( the kennels are outdoor but there are places for the dogs to go and stay warm due to the insulation and bedding )

Is not interested in taking new clients. Seems very unfriendly and quite frankly he sounded like a jerk. Would not recommend bringing your dog here to them.

I tried Doggy daycare today after hearing some good Things about Rocky Mountain K-9/ Boarding. So far, it’s all good, he seemed to have a good time today and came home tired and happy! I didn’t feel I have enough of an experience to give a five star rating, but I will update as time goes on! (I just realized that I wrote this back in May but then never took the step of posting it. I have updated from a four to a five because my dog was also boarded for two weeks after his first daycare visit. He came home happy and well fed. I got daily pictures too, so important while I was recuperating from a knee replacement.
Highly recommend this place!! I took my 2 Aussie’s in for a bath and groom and they look great. The groomer updated me throughout the process and took her time on my anxious girl who doesn’t like the blow dryer. I felt at peace knowing they were cared for during that time! We will be back 😁 …
Boarded my dog with Rocky Mountain while I was on vacation. It was my first time boarding her and I was super nervous. I was so happy that they would send daily updates and it looked like she was having so much fun! She was able to play with other dogs as well and came back a super happy pup.
I used the doggy daycare for the first time this week. We were having new floors put in and I had no idea what to do with our dogs, Daisy and Oliver. The staff was AMAZING!!! My dogs were not stressed at all. They actually loved going in. They posted pictures on their account through out the day and sent me a report card with a picture at the end of the day. I absolutely love this place. Thank you very much!!
Ive taken my pup there twice now and I have nothing but good things to say. They always send me photos while she is there and I always get her back in good shape and she’s happy. No complaints.
We’ve been bringing our two dogs to Rocky Mountain K9 in Ogden for several years now. We have used their bathing and grooming services as well as day care and boarding. Our dogs love going to day care there and they have a great time playing outside with other dogs. The humans there are great too! They send us updates with photos of the dog to let us know how they’re doing. It’s a very convenient location for us and we know our dogs are in good hands!
We boarded our pup here for a week. The booking process was incredibly easy, and I was able to add grooming services at the last minute. We felt that our dog was in good hands, and she absolutely loved playing with the other dogs so much. We were very pleasantly surprised to receive a daily "report card" via text, letting us know how she did that day. It even included photos and the occasional video! We will definitely board our dog here again!
I took one of our family dogs to be groomed today by Savanna, at the South Ogden location. Our dog had never done well with groomers and we had no success at all in the past. Savanna was a miracle worker! He’s a big boy at 115 pounds and she instantly had his attention and put him at ease. She let him get comfortable with his surroundings and made friends with him. He sat on the table and let her do all the normal parts of the grooming process. When I picked him up, he was happy and so handsome! Savanna is amazing and I highly recommend her for grooming your dog! Resaonable prices too!
Great service! They got us in quickly and they are affordable. I was so nervous to drop off my girl, but when I picked her up she was so happy and clean. My dog has some past trauma and I really appreciate that they took time to get to know her. It was definately judge free and friendly.
We were a bit nervous to leave our two dogs who have never been to a kennel. We have always had family take care of our dogs. Our vet recommended Rocky Mountain K9. They were awesome! Friendly, understanding staff. Pictures and report every day. Our dogs were clean and happy when we picked them up. We will for sure use this kennel again.
