Ready, set, go! We can’t wait to meet you and your furry family!
Two amazing calm and relaxed house sitters. We had difficulties with our heating while away and Tammy was so understanding. We came home to a lovely clean house and happy kitties. Would highly recommend.

Travel peacefully:) You are in good hands with us!
Carrie and Ben and the dog Crumley were absolutely wonderful. We immediately felt at ease with them and our dog Bella and Crumley became best buddies. We are looking forward to their coming back if their schedules permit.

Amanda was awesome and very communicative. Our dogs were well taken care of and really enjoyed having her there! We felt so much relief having her with them and the house. Thanks so much, Amanda. We would have her stay again if she was available! :)

Responsible remote worker looking for extended stays around the world
Past house sitters have found my dog Wilbur to be enjoyable to care for, however I recognize that not all pets and humans bond. I sensed that Brian did not really spend much time engaging with my dog. Wilbur had a sore eye filled with matter when I returned and Brian either didn’t notice or didn’t care to inform me of this. I had asked my son to come over for the final feeding/potty of Wilbur so Brian could leave early due to poor weather. My son misunderstood and came over a day early and notified me of Wilburs eye problem. Despite being there another day Brian did not inform me of the eye problem. The house had sticky dirty countertops in the kitchen and bathroom - linens were not laundered or changed out. Brian left items in the house, so overall not a great sit.

Natalie and Christian were dream pet sitters while we were out of the country for 2.5 weeks. From start to finish, they were reliable and professional, with excellent communication. They had took great care of our dog and chickens and left the house and car in great shape. Plus, they’re just a really sweet young couple. We’d highly recommend them as house sitters.
Alyssa was a very organized and caring pet sitter. This was our longest house sitter stay and she took excellent care of our home and two sweet and bossy Frenchies. I liked her communication to touch base the week before and how she initiated a shared photo album. We prefer not to get bombarded with daily text message photos and updates. She came up with a connected solution and touched base throughout her stay keeping us informed and sharing photos without a push. She even shared some travel gems about our destination as she is also a curious traveler and enjoys exploring outdoors. We would be happy to use her again.
Hanna did an excellent job sitting Molly, Eddie, Jasper, and Miley. She communicated well, took notes on our initial meet and greet. She went out of her way to help us get the dogs to a kennel when we experienced a family emergency and could not extend her sit due to work commitments. The dogs loved her and the shy kitties came out of greet her mid stay. She left our home immaculate and well cared for. She is truly a winning pet sitter in our eyes! We hope she can come again sometime.
Martin was a very conscientious and thoughtful house sitter who took excellent care of our pets and our home. He was reliable, self-sufficient, and a very good communicator. He clearly enjoys and cares for animals, and our house was spotless when we returned. We recommend him wholeheartedly!
BriAnna was our first pet sitter and we loved her :). She made every step very simple for us, communication was great, Pastis and Anubis seemed to be very happy with her, and the house was very clean when we came back. We highly recommend BriAnna to take care of your pets and we would love to have her back!
Andrea was the perfect sitter for our older Italian Greyhound and our shy cat. She followed every request to a “t”, and helped us to feel comfortable and care free for a long zeewoi. The communication of photos and videos were a warm reminder of how well they had been adjusting to our absence. Andrea showed care and consistent compassion for Darcy and Hammy. She seemed to enjoy them and our home as much as us! We returned to an absolutely spotless home, without anything left undone. She thought of everything related to us and our pets, so we could have a seamless late evening return. We highly recommend Andrea for any zeewoi, as she is a jewel. Anyone looking for a “perfect” sitter would be lucky to have Andrea as a trustworthy, considerate and kind person to care for their pets and home.
I could not have asked for a better first time sitter experience! Terry & Vinnie were absolutely wonderful people. They took stellar care of my beloved pets and my home. Their communication with me was enough that I felt perfectly at ease during my time away and in turn, they were super responsive if I contacted them. My pets were relaxed and happy when I returned!
Toby and we were SO lucky to have Tom be our home and pet sitter for our Thanksgiving Holiday trip! From the very beginning Tom was responsive and communicative. He was even able to arrange a "meet and greet" with us and Toby before beginning his stay. While here Tom took great care of our home, and, most importantly, provided wonderful care of Toby! When we got home everything was in perfect order and we could tell that even though Toby was happy to see us he was going to miss Tom. I would be thrilled if we could have Tom as our zeewoi again. You will be lucky if he can do the same for you. :)
Anna was the perfect sitter for Tali, Mac and Sox. From the first moment we met Anna we all got on extremely well and we had no worries about leaving our pets in her safe hands. Anna gave them loads of fun time and company, lovely walks and snuggles in front of the TV. Thanks for all the fun we had before and after the sit too. We would not hesitate to recommend Anna for any sit.
What an amazing couple we had as pet sitters for our two dogs! You can truly feel their love for animals. Nancy sent pictures a couple of times letting us know that they were having fun also with our Cody and Carson! Our home was perfect when we got home. They even left a beautiful potted flower and card on our island in our kitchen. We highly recommend this couple! Jim & Wanda

Posh has improved their Eldridge location. My fur babies love going to Daycare and Boarding. They do not hesitate! In the evening, they come home tired after playing all day…makes for well behaved dogs. The manager Lauren is fantastic and my babies love her!
I can't say enough good things about Posh. The staff is absolutely amazing and takes the best care of my Lily whether it's when she is there for boarding or day camp. She is so happy when she knows she's going to Posh. Couldn't ask for a better place, highly recommend!
My puppy loves his Posh time! We appreciate the staff at Posh who not only take care of our pup but who are also very easy to work with no matter the need. Reasonably priced as well! Thank you, Eldridge Posh for all that you do!
The girls and Skyler in Moline are wonderful. I wasn’t impressed with the co-owner when she was working. My dog is handicapped on his front feet and so he feels safer with little dogs and the workers are so nice to him
My doodle has been going to posh Eldridge for many years. He loves Erin and the rest of the crew. They take great care of him when I travel.
Wonderful staff, multiple locations across the Quad Cities area. Day camp is great! I feel my pets will be safe there. They post pictures daily of the dogs. You can even have them read your pup a story or give them a special treat. Great place
My two dogs have been going there for years. Pout when they don't get to go. The staff spoils them. You can tell how well they are treated by how excited they are to be there.
Cabbage loves going to Posh. They always greet her with excitement and vice versa. It’s pretty cute. When I ask her if she’s ready to go play with her friends Luka, Clover, and Henry she gets so excited. We’re glad we have a safe place to take her during the day or whenever we leave town. Thanks Posh! We appreciate you!!!
I’ve used Posh for years, and Beaston prior, for daycare and boarding. My dogs have always been very excited to go to Posh. The staff have been wonderfully professional and truly caring about my dogs. I highly recommend them!
Our dog loves staying here when ever we go out of town. She gets excited and happy.
Love this place. Our dog has had play time, boarding and boarding/train there. Always a great experience. Grace, the trainer, has done an outstanding job with Molly
We took our Bernadoodle for his first grooming. They asked if we wanted a puppy cut that’s just a wash, trimming the feet, and nails. I asked them to do that and trim the rest of his hair “just a little bit to keep the puffball but reduce the matting.” Instead, they cut his hair short everywhere. They sent me back a dog that looks nothing like what I gave them or what I asked for. Will not be going back. Pictures below are what he looked like before the cut and after.
Been grooming my dog there for years. It's now under new ownership. We had an appointment set for tomorrow to have my dog groomed. Waited weeks. They call the day before stating his rabies expired in April, and that he would need to be vaccinated before he could come in. I stated why wouldn't you have notified me of this sooner. She claimed her system only does the day before and that it's not her responsibility to make sure the dog is vaccinated. This maybe true. But the fact she did this the day before and, if it's so required, not to at least do this a week in advance so you have time to coordinate with your vet. Especially when you consider you've been waiting weeks to have your dog groomed, then to be rude and condescending is all it took for me to post this review. Avoid these guys. Very unprofessional and no matter their response don't buy it. I guess it's all about the money and not the pooches.
Our experience with Almost Home to this point has been taking our new pup, Rosie, to Puppy Play Time. All the staff are extremely caring and seem to have fun with the pups. The staff chats with the us about the time spent and how the pup has adjusted to it. We are also utilizing Jana and Dakota for home training with Rosie. They want the pup to succeed and magically it happens and we go forward. Could not be happier!!
They are so caring and attentive to the dogs. The dogs love it there. We currently only use them for boarding but plan on daycare in the future. They don’t discriminate on age and “age out” like other places.
Our good boy Rocky comes back home HAPPY this is the first place that has had that effect on him. We love them!
We have always felt confident leaving our dog in their care. The facility is always clean. The staff is great and really loves the dogs. We've even run into employees out and about and they recognize and remember our dog's name. Great place.
The staff members are very friendly and very good with both of my large dogs. Facilities are clean and set up nice for the dogs to get exercise as well as be comfortable. Will definitely continue to use them even though other places closer to me are more economical.
I used to take my dogs here when they were downtown Bettendorf. Going to start aggression training with my one dog soon. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I'm hoping for good results. UPDATE: I give five stars to the boarding end of the business but give two stars to the training side. I had more appointments canceled at the list minute then I did training sessions. We needed help with our dog for aggression issues but received very little.
Absolutely loved my experience with this place! The ladies I spoke with were both very nice and although my dogs didn't stay for the whole reservation (canceled flights are a pain) I know they were in good hands. Definitely found the perfect place for my dogs!
Recently, we began sessions with Donna for our 2 year old GSD. We didn't know her, but after reading all the great reviews, and her qualifications, I texted her. It has become the best choice I've made all year!!! She is a wealth of information about all things canine. My new 411. 😁 Donna is professional, tough, kind, straight forward, helpful, and so caring to our new dog and us. We are already incredibly grateful to her. Looking forward to learning more for our sweet Lovey. Thank you, Donna! 💛
My boyfriend and I brought our 4 year old female mixed breed, very fear reactive dog to Donna. Daisy (our dog) was very anxious and stressed (she would bark/ growl and lunge) when we would go on walks or when people would come into the house or even when she would see other dogs from a mile away. What a difference 6 classes has made in our dog!! She has the confidence to walk by people in a store or while on a walk and even when walking by other dogs she is minding her own business! Donna has been helpful even since our evaluation and gave us the confidence that there was hope for Daisy to have an easier doggy life as long as we were willing to put in the work! Daisy will never be the kind of dog that strangers (people or dogs) can easily approach, that’s just not the kind of dog she is, but with Donna’a help we have seen such a huge difference in Daisy’s temperament and gave us a new perspective on how to approach things with Daisy. We look forward to continue bringing Daisy (she loves working and she loves Donna!) and new puppies in the future! Donna, and everyone at Big River is amazing we’d recommend them to anyone! Thank you so much for giving us the tools to help Daisy!!!
Donna has worked with us for about a month with our 11 month old GSD mix. We've seen a huge difference with our dog's behavior in this short time. We love BRCC!
Donna is simply the best at her craft! She came highly recommended to us for a quality dog training experience. She is professional, communicates openly, and provides the dog owner with just as much training and constructive feedback as she does the dogs. I can't say enough positive things about Donna and her training style. Her facility is spacious and immaculate. Her home "follow-up" visits are helpful, and our dog absolutely loves her. We do too!
Donna is the best! If you want excellent results, this is the place. There aren't words for how much she cares about her clients & especially their dogs. You won't find better within 2 hour drive. Probably further. I just haven't looked past a hundred miles. But I doubt there are any better, maybe some as good, but, none better.
Donna is top tier and cannot be recommended enough. Our introduction to her alone was worth the fee for training our pup. It is no exaggeration to say that we saw immediate improvement in his behavior, and levels of training and discipline. What’s more, the training goes beyond your pet; she trains the owner too, so that you can ensure the best possible life for your pooch. We are excited to continue training, and moving forward, we will only ever entrust our furry family member, Wellington, to Donna and her staff.
I met with Donna to discuss my young golden retriever's jumping and leash pulling problems. Donna was super helpful and informative on how to correct these issues. Tonight was the fifth of our sixth obedience class and I just have to say I am so grateful for everything that she has taught me and helped me teach my pup. Our lives are truly changed for the better. She has helped shape me into a better dog owner and my girl into a great dog. 10 out of 10 would recommend. The only thing some may view as a negative, is be ready for some criticism. She is not afraid to tell you when you are doing something wrong, and show you how to do it right. All very necessary for getting everything her training classes have to offer.
I adopted a seven year old Yorkie mix male. I am his third owner. He has a history of abuse by his first owner’s SO. Reportedly, he was picked up in his crate and thrown on multiple occasions. He has a high level of anxiety and fear. All was great for about four months and then his true nature emerged. He became aggressive towards me and would bite me at times when he was afraid of sounds outside like the mailman, doorbell and knocking, loud vehicles, etc. There were also bites that originated from his need to be dominant over his territory. Donna taught me techniques to deal with his anxieties and fears. She also stressed the need for me to be the “leader”, the one that makes rules, sets limits and expects appropriate behavior. I learned to walk him, using the lead to control and communicate so that he knew which of us is “in charge”. I went to training expecting Amos to be the learner. As it turned out, I learned much more than he did. He is a happier dog and I a happy mom. I strongly recommend Donna if you are looking for a trainer. She is a patient and caring teacher.
I had a stray coonhound that showed up on our property stay with Donna for a board and train. He was timid, a runner, afraid of strangers, everything. We had him for a year, and we're unable to get through to him. After the stay with Donna, and a month or so for us to know how to react, the dog since has done a complete 180. We are roughly two months out of Donna's training. He learned how to be a family dog, does almost always does what we ask. I've told many people that the money we spent was the best money I ever spent. I would not hesitate to recommend Donna and Big River. Canine to anyone. Thank you Donna!
This is not your usual dog trainer, this is special. This is a level of expertise above others. Donna has a great ability to work personally and individually with the dog and more importantly the owner with techniques that work and are supported long after. We brought our one year old DEAF, rescued American Bulldog to Donna. She was able to teach us how to communicate with him and train him with commands which dramatically changed his misdirected behavior. Donna's expert training allowed us to rescue an amazing dog to be part of our family.
I boarded 3 of my dogs at New Horizon over the holidays. They were super kind and the facility is really nice. My dogs came home and are their happy, regular selves. It seems like they had a good stay! We will definitely board here again.
Our Teeter just finished a 4 week obedience training class. The experience was incredible and wonderful. Teeter learned alot and the different is really noticeable at home. When we picked her up Laura the trainer review all the things she learned and trained us! We definitely highly recommend New Horizon Kennel.
What a great experience for Meg! She has done it all... boot camp, daycare, grooming, etc.. Everyone is genuinely friendly, attentive, professional and exceeds our needs. We plan on a long commitment with them! The birthday celebration was handled by the staff and the pictures say how much she enjoys her time there.
We recently boarded our GSD baby Rubi here for a week. Three days in they called because she wasn’t eating. I explained I have been making her lean hamburgers for some time for her dinner. They immediately called in a Walmart delivery order and the owner started making her maid rites. She takes allergy meds with her meal and they were concerned she wasn’t getting her med or food. From that day on Miss Rubi was being fed what she wanted. The staff were so supportive, kind, and truly cared for our babies well being. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
I highly discourage you to take your dog here. From a former employee, the owners do not care about your dog or your dog's well being. If your dog is sick under their care, they will do as little as possible for you dog. If your dog is there for training the trainer will hardly work with your dog and if they do it will be borderline animal abuse. Many of the owns who take their dogs here do not know the sad truth behind the curtain.
I've been bringing my dog to New Horizon Kennel for 3 years now (she's almost 4). We both love New Horizon. She loves it because it gives here the opportunity run off-leash to her heart's content (something she can't get at home), play with other dogs as she's fairly social, and get great care from a loving and professional staff, including grooming and "spa days". I love it because they take great care of her and are always friendly and easy to talk to about her, and their conscientousness at making sure she and her daycare buddies always stay healthy.
New Horizon Kennel was incredibly kind and helpful from the very beginning!! My husband and I were severely stressed out the moment two out of our three dogs decided to fight to the death (literally😔) out of nowhere! We had always had issues with Kali (our youngest), but nothing to that extreme. Kali injured our middle dog (Harper) to the point where three legs were injured, a fair amount of blood was lost, etc. Even my husband got bit in the process! It was incredibly scary to say the least. However, the moment I called New Horizon Kennel, I knew I was in good hands! Before meeting myself or any of my dogs, Tim Hornbuckle offered wonderful advice and tips to keep my two agitated dogs safe until my husband and I were able to drop off Kali. My husband and I felt shameful that we weren’t able to get our youngest under control, but when talking with Tim and his staff, they reassured us that we were wonderful dog parents! They informed us that we just needed to learn more information about dogs and the way they operate/socialize to make life easier for our entire family. After putting Kali in their four week behavior program, I can confidently say that New Horizon Kennel does wonders!! Our sweet Kali can now respond to various commands, handle being in the same room with other dogs/people, and she can even coexist with her sister, Harper! New Horizon even let us bring Harper to Kali’s graduation day to educate and prepare us on their sibling dynamic and what we can do to improve that. Before Kali would growl and bark forever at anyone and everyone, now she understands that she is safe and my husband and I are the leaders in our home! The place is very clean and professional looking, the workers are helpful and caring, and the owner is very knowledgeable and knows exactly how to train dogs with behavioral issues! We dropped off a hyper, aggressive dog and came back to pick up a calm, sweet angel!🩷 I can’t praise this place enough! My family and I will forever be grateful for New Horizon Kennel and all their hard work when it came to taking care of Kali!
Great people. Very caring and knowledgeable. Our dog Owen loves the place and so do we.
The staff is great! The facilities are the best! Our dog loves going to school! New Horizon is the only place I will board her. Their training is top notch!
My dog loves going to New Horizon Kennels. You can feel their love for all the dogs.
Great place with fare prices and they took incredible care of my litter girl dogs! They were even able to accomplish the impossible... trimming a Corgis nails! It usualy involves an entire team to get them done at home, here they even ground them, so no sharp nails! We'll be back!
Super friendly! Amazing communication! 10/10 got exactly what I was looking for! Went in to get my dog groomed super happy would recommend!
My German Shepherds love going. Everyone there is so nice. The boys come home worn out. And they do an amazing job at grooming them.
We had a great first experience at Happy Pawz in Port Byron. We plan to come again soon. We utilized the grooming service for our small dog. The results were as expected. She smelled great and they did good cutting her hair and nails. The price was fair. Parking was easy and convenient. When making the reservation, Amy was kind and quick. I appreciate the reminder sent out before the appointment. Thank you!
We couldn't love this place more and our pup agrees! He is waiting at the door every morning just begging to go to daycare. They take such great care of him while he is there. The hours are great, the staff is wonderful, and the ability to get our dog bathed after a long day of playing is a huge plus. We recommend Happy Paws to everyone!
My chewy loves the staff and they really do an excellent job grooming him!
I took my Siberian Husky to Happy paws to be bathed because she is to difficult to do at home. The groomers here did an absolutely amazing job! I’m so impressed with how clean and soft she was when I picked her up. They even put a cute bandanna around her neck. I highly recommend this place everyone is friendly
I took my puppy, Dexter, in for his very first grooming. He's really timid and scared of the world, but we had a great experience! Taylor was absolutely wonderful with him and she did a great job keeping him as calm as could be and giving him his first groom. The facility was super clean and everyone was very nice...great service while taking care of my fur baby! We will definitely be back and I would refer them to anyone in need of a groomer or daycare and boarding. Five stars 🐾😊🐾
Loved this experience we will be bringing our pups back in the future!!
This place was wonderful! I brought my two dogs in and they gave them each the perfect haircut for their breed. The service was great - I would definitely recommend for those in need of a groomer!
Such kind and friendly staff. I am confident that my senior large breed dog will be well taken care of here as he always has been! No issues giving extensive medication regiments, which is appreciated! Highly recommend. They also do grooming and nail trims too!
Country Acres is the only place we trust to care for our little Stuart when we can't take him with us. Amy is so friendly, caring and kind to all the fur-babies, you can see she loves her job! The facility is modern, clean and climate controlled. Prices are very reasonable, and service unmatched. Our little guy loves to visit so much he books his own appointments.
We love bringing our kids (Wrigley & Jak) to Country Acres. It's clean, the staff is friendly and I can tell when we bring our dogs in the front door they are excited to see the staff again, not nervous which makes us very comfortable in knowing they are kind to our kids as well. I highly recommend Country Acres if your nervous about leaving your "Fur baby" with strangers. You will never be nervous again!
Amy always takes care of our dogs so well when we go on vacation. Of course, it's not like being at home, but they enjoy themselves there.
My dogs love going to see Amy❤️ My Boxer was a rescue and is shy with other people, but he loves Amy and the others❤️ it definitely helps my heart leaving them at Country Acres! A great facility with loving, compassionate employees🥰 …
I cannot recommend Country Acres enough! Amy and the staff will treat your dog as one of their own and love them endlessly while they are their boarding. My dog gets so nervous being without me and in a new place but she absolutely loves being at County Acres! The care is top notch!
Very polite staff, kept us updated, took great care of and accommodated our dogs any way needed, and great pricing!
We have a large breed dog “Saint Bernard” and are very pleased with the service Amy has provided us for both boarding and grooming. We feel very comfortable while he is at Country Acres. Very attentive to our dogs needs and given lots of care.
A high quality well maintained clean boarding facility can be such a challenge to locate and feel confident and comfortable with the care your four legged family member will receive. Look no further!! Country Acres meets those criteria in every aspect and goes above and beyond in concern for keeping your dog healthy too!!! Geneseo friends…it is worth the short drive for the peace of mind this facility will provide!!!
LOVE country acres! Our dog is always so happy to be there and looks great after a grooming. The cleanliness and vaccination policy gives me peace of mind leaving them there as well. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone wanting their dog to experience exceptional TLC.
My dogs and me LOVE K9 Resorts. The staff is always so friendly and caring. Damien literally runs into the Resort. He goes to camp, he has been boarded here, gets baths. Now his sister, Lily is able to go. They smell so GOOD when they come back from their baths. Once at home, they are so tired and nap the rest of the day. I love all the different event days they do and the calendars. I get so happy seeing all their pictures. You can definitely tell that your pets are well taken care of and loved. Thank you for all the work you do with Damien, Lily and all the other doggies!!!
K9 Resorts is wonderful! The facility is beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful, and my dogs were very happy there! The staff even sent me pictures of the dogs during their stay. When I picked up our 3 dogs, they had been bathed and smelled so good! We will definitely come back!
Our 90 lb lab mix Beau was boarded for two nights over Thanksgiving. He’s a very anxious dog but loves to play. He had so much fun at K9 Resorts. He almost seemed sad to leave. Thank you for caring for our dog!
My two goldens love k9 resorts so much- they drag me out of the car and into the building. (Embarrassing) But- I couldn’t be more thankful for the staff- and I know that either daycare or boarding.. my girls are in great hands. And will be coming home completely exhausted from their fun days.
My husband and I needed to board our goldens for 10 days back in Feb 2023. We did a ton of research and decided on K9 Resorts, and it was THE best decision. They did an amazing job taking care of our girls, the peace of mind we had not having to worry if they were being taken care of was priceless. We ended up signing Nova up for daycare and she has gone ever since. The staff is absolutely amazing, Nova LOVES them and gives each one a hug when she sees them. This place is caring, the environment is clean, they have activities for the dogs like pool parties, bubble parties, monthly birthday party, crafts, photoshoots, so much more. It's genuinely such a fantastic place to take your dog. I can't say enough great things about K9 Resorts! ❤️
The Pups loved it! They actually slept through the night afterward which was amazing! They will definitely be coming back when we go on vacation Picture is of them after their playtime:
This was our first time to leave our special needs rescue in a boarding situation. We were so nervous. However, the people at K9 were very reassuring and kind. They explained everything and didn’t make me feel silly for checking on Mollie. We were able to take our day trip knowing that she was in good hands, safe, and well cared for. Thank you! The Chambers
To the service to the staff your pup is well taken care of. I was so nervous as this is the first time boarding my 4 legged friend but they put all my worries to ease. They also did a free evaluation day to get your dog acclimated to the environment. My boy was so tired by the end of the day!!
Loki loves coming to daycare, even tho he is not neutered yet they find time to play with him and he's always tired when he gets home. The place always smells fresh and clean and all the dogs that we have encountered are so sweet and nice. Looking forward to him getting neutered and being able to play with all the pups❤️ Best place ever!!!
The staff was great for the tour, dropping my dog off, and picking him up. I received updates with photos and my dog appeared to be very happy. I’ll definitely be using the doggy daycare and doggy hotel services again.
Posh took great care of our dogs (with one being almost 16 years old!) A couple days after and our dogs (a lab mix and a mastiff mix) are still worn out. Posh was also great in their communications and very well priced
First time at Moline pash resort I picked my dog up today. After Thanksgiving, he's got 2 cuts on his legs that have been bleeding. He is completely filthy dirty. So I don't know what happened. But I will not take him back.
I believe I have been with Posh Eldridge for about a year now since I have moved here. We have boarded our dog and have used other services which have been helpful and haven’t been much of an issue, however since speaking to past employees my views on Posh have changed quite a bit. Not that it’s the people I have talked too’s faults but I have just been told that other workers and managers don’t care too much for the dogs and promote people who don’t do very much. It is said workers are paid poorly despite putting themselves at risk and because of this many have quite their job. Lastly, I have been told Posh have more dogs coming in then kennels available, yet because of cash-grabs and opportunities to raise prices they don’t turn these customers and pups away. I am most likely going to have to find another place to have my dog stay at from time to time which is unfortunate because I haven’t really had any problems with Posh. Do whatever you want with this information, like I said my sources are ex-workers so things may have changed since speaking to them.
My dogs spent a week here... they came home reaking like urine and feeces. Our little blind dog acted strange for a few days after coming home. Was disappointed for the amount of money we spent there for the care I believe they recieved. We felt uncomfortable you did not get to see the housing for the dogs. I will add the lady who checked us in was very friendly.
When I called to ask questions about cat grooming, it was their closing time so my called wasn't answered and I didn't leave a message, thinking I would just call back the next business day. I received a callback several minutes later, and the young lady answered all of my questions kindly and patiently, completely unconcerned about being there late, so I made my appointment right away. I have a senior cat, who had stopped grooming himself, the groomer gave him a lion cut and, even though he has yet to forgive me for what had to be done, he has been happily rolling around and purring louder than usual - quite happy with not being weighed down by matts. He was also a rescue who had been abused, so he shows signs of stress and mistreatment quickly, he displayed none of that behavior after being handled by the staff at Posh, so I know he was treated well in their care. I'll definitely be bringing him back if I need to, but hoping I don't have to!
I took my dog there this last weekend and will never bring my dog back. First off all when we tried to check him in they tried saying he needed a shot that he already had. They tried giving it to him before even checking his records. My dog is only 9 months old and has never had to go to a kennel before. I asked how he did over the weekend and the lady at the front desk said I don't know. Thats all she said. Wouldn't give me any information. My dog was able to be kenneled with my parents dog, who he is comfortable with. and yet both dogs came home as if they were traumatized.
Super friendly and helpful staff. Our dog Hawkeye has a great time here, either at Doggy Daycare or when he is boarding. He loves playing with the other dogs. I highly recommend Posh!
When I brought my dog home from a weekend stay, she had kennel cough and looking at her closely she has bite marks on her mouth and chin. When I picked her up they didn’t state that anything happened to her. I don’t recommend this place due to the poor service and neglect to tell me if it went well at her stay or not. I will not be back.
Absolutely fantastic! My dog just started going here and LOVES it. Everyone who works here is so sweet and genuinely loves and cares for the dogs — and my pup is all tuckered out at the end of the day! Highly recommend!
First time I've ever boarded a dog, and we will be back for doggie day care, which I never thought I'd do, because our pup enjoyed himself so much. He worked off some energy, and from the pics, made some new friends. I wish they would post even more pics on their Facebook page throughout the day so we can see him throughout our day.
