Aniek & Mark are the perfect sitters. They look after our house and Marvin so well I wish I could book them for every time we go away. Understandably they get booked up with other stays as they really are brilliant. In terms of the house it is so well looked after. It’s probably cleaner when we get home than it was before we left. In terms of their pet care they are amazing. We have a stricht routine and commands for Marvin and they stick to them perfectly. They spend more time going for long walks with him than we have the opportunity to do sometimes. Also at home he gets so much care and attention. I am sure he thinks it’s a holiday for himself too when we get ready to leave and Aniek and Mark arrive. We have only had them sit for us one time before, last May, but Marvin recognised them instantly and was so excited to see them this time when they returned. They are also so good at staying in touch and sending us cute videos of their time in our home and with Marvin. They are both so relaxed, easy to talk to and flexible. Their attention to detail is remarkable as they also remembered my daughter’s birthday. I really hope I get to see them both again soon.

Eefje and Dion were great house and pet sitters and we would highly recommend them to anyone needing a home and pet sitter! Our dog loved them and was her happy and healthy self when we got home. Eefje sent daily pictures and check ins which were much appreciated. They also left our apartment clean and orderly.

Yvonne and Hans filled in a gap in house-sitting cover when we at short notice had to extend our stay in UK. Although they only stayed for two days, we were able to arrange video calls with them and also including the previous sitters, to plan for the handover. This all worked very smoothly, and our house was spotless on our return, and our cats were happy and well cared for. Yvonne sent great photos during her short stay, clearly the cats had charmed her and Hans, and got their own way - as they do with us! We would be delighted to have them to sit our house and pets on another occasion...

Unfortunately, we did not have a chance to meet Angelina and Jonas in person because they arrived right after another house sitter had to leave after a two and a half week stay and they stayed the remaining three days in our family home with our dog Ronja. My interview was with Angelina and she seemed to be very organised and was very friendly. Everything went smoothly, they sent us regular pictures and updates and kept us updated so we knew that our house and Ronja were well being taken care of. When we returned home our house was clean and tidy and our dog Ronja was happy. We would highly recommend Angelina and Jonas to everyone and would love to welcome them again in our home in the future!

Kelly was a wonderful pet sitter and house sitter! Our dog Cooper adored her. She sent us pictures several times a day and he was always snuggling with her. She kept in touch with us regularly. We have never left our baby before and we were anxious about it but we ended up feeling totally comfortable with Cooper in Kelly’s care. She also kept our potted plants alive during a heat wave and took great care of the house. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Jacob sat for us during our holiday in March. We do not have any pets but we do have garden plants etc to look after. Jacob did a fantastic job of looking after the young plants that had arrived by post the day before we went away. He sent us regular updates and photos of how the plants were doing. Janis is a wonderful person and also an incredible sitter -- we were very, very fortunate that she agreed to care for our beloved pets and rural log home for 3 days. We were confident that everything would be perfect – and it was. We returned to a home as clean and ordered as we had left it, inside and out. All plants were thriving; outdoor hanging baskets were blooming profusely. Most importantly, our beloved dog and 4 cherished cats had obviously been lovingly and attentively cared for. The koi were also active and happy. Janis is a “cat whisperer”. She is especially skilled and patient with shy felines, so we truly appreciated her patience and caring for our sweet Angie (with a semi-feral background). Janis immediately understood that Angie, despite her reclusiveness, craves affection and was able to start to earn her trust even with such limited time. Among Janis’ many gifts: she is a talented photographer and delighted us with frequent updates and photos of our furry children. They are so beautiful that we, with her kind permission, plan to include several in our zeewoi profile. Janis’ communications, reliability, self-sufficiency, and punctuality were exemplary, start to finish. We made a wonderful new friend and have already invited her back to sit again.
