Boarded my dog for an out of town wedding nearby. Was very anxious about doing it, as my dog had never been boarded before. Nemacolin was wonderful with answering all my questions and making me feel safe with leaving my beloved fur baby there. Was sent pictures everyday of him playing and was able to visit whenever during buisness hours. Was also surpised by how affordable it was to board him for the high quality of services received. He even was able to get groomed while there. Thank you Nemacolin for doing such a great job!

So we recently stayed at Nemacolin and had to board our pups. This was a great place to do it at as well. Everyday they will send pictures of your pups and the activities they are doing. The staff makes sure they all get cuddle time and snuggle time. We felt very at ease with leaving them there too. They took them on walks and hikes. Bed time stories. There is even a little indoor pool.

I was very nervous to board my dog....I haven't boarded any of my pets since I was in HS... My dog now had always gone everywhere with me...Nemacolin took very good care of my baby... they emailed me pictures every day, and I called for updates. I thought he would have trouble since we have never been apart more than a work days hours. But they made him feel at home, and I also had him groomed while he was there. He came back all cleaned up soft and fluffy. Definitely will be back for the grooming services and would board again in the future if need be. Like I said my baby usually goes everywhere with me

I was so nervous about boarding our GSD. I am so thankful I found Nemacolin Wooflands. It was so much easier to enjoy our family vacation knowing our girl was in good hands. They sent daily pics of Kimber having fun. They took excellent care of her. She got to swim, play ball, enjoy a few pup cups and get a bedtime story. Will definitely board here anytime we need to go out of town.

My old dog LOVED Wooflands and my dog now is enjoying the pool and playing with friends. I highly recommend Wooflands but it’s important to reserve in advance.

My dog has separation anxiety and I usually hesitate putting him at boarding or day care but after walking in and taking a look at the place(impressive facility), I had the sense that he will be in good hands. They sent pictures and that was reassuring that he's doing alright. There was no extra charge for the group play which was great. I would recommend this place!

We just returned from a 2 day 1 night trip and boarded our 6 month old puppy at the Wooflands. I was nervous leaving him but after I saw the facility and met a few of the ladies working I immediately knew he would be ok. Once we heard there would be other dogs his size ( bichon) We upgraded to a package so he would be able to socialize with them, which was a great decision since he only know a few larger size dogs in our neighborhood.. They sent us pictures of our dog while we were at dinner, which was so nice. He also got tucked in with a lullaby before bedtime. He was so excited to see us when we picked him up but also didn’t want to leave. We would definitely use Nemacolin Wooflands in the future.

Wooflands is incredible. We use them for doggy day care, boarding and grooming purposes and our fur babies are always excited to go and happy when we pick them up. We have had bad experiences in the past with other facilities elsewhere, so it provides so much peace of mind and comfort knowing they're well cared for. They even send us photos every day to show how they're doing.

Great people, services, and variety of packages for our pets. Our dogs are eager to see the staff when we arrive for a drop off its like they know they are going to have a great time and look forward to it. Would highly recommend this place.

The staff was absolutely wonderful. It was difficult leaving our young Golden for the first time. When I picked him up it was apparent he had a pleasant experience. He was happy, calm and the staff was genuinely affectionate toward him. Our dog was groomed during his stay and he looked beautiful. I would certainly recommend the pet resort and the all the resort has to offer in general. The staff sent daily communication in regard to his well-being. They made us feel at ease so that we could enjoy our time away. Nemacolin is by far Our favorite local get-a-way for the entire family!

We had an agreed meeting time for between 7 and 9. We arrived just before 8, which is during normal drop off time and no one was there. We called several times and no one answered. One member of our rafting party had to stay behind so our family was split and we lost $100. Very frustrated.

Wonderful Kennel, you can really tell the owner loves each and every dog. Also, very well kept, with tons of toys and fun doggy things to do.

Excellent care of our dog while we were away. Tamara gave her a bath and trimmed our dog's nails before sending home. Clean safe environment for the dogs stay. Highly recommend Mountain Paws for your dogs stay. She also does grooming but we have a short hair dog.

We board our two dogs here (one German Shepherd and one American Bully) some places act nervous about my dogs given the breeds but they are treated just like any other dog here and they are willing to accommodate my needy bully who sometimes won’t eat unless his brother is around. Here they can share a run or be side by side able to see each other and interact with each other. She also bathes them before they go home which is really nice.

So we had good and bad experience while kneeling our pup here for a vacation. We will start with the good. The bathed her and gave her nail clipping for free due to her stay length. They painted her nails which we love. Gave her a cute bandana that she loves. The kennels are nice and you can bring all the toys and bed for your dog so they feel at home still. The cons are they can be hard to get ahold of at times. The only other issue we had was they didnt give her the proper amount of pills a day she was on. It could have been a miscommunication between us and them. Overall it's a good place to take your pup

Our dogs had a great weekend with Tamara. They also look great since they were bathed and had their toenails cut. We will be back again soon!

I am always hesitant to try new groomers when it comes to my fur baby. However, the folks at Ruffin Around were awesome and put my mind at ease from the moment I contacted them. They are very professional, kind, and caring. I felt safe leaving my Champ with them from the time I walked in the door because I could tell he would be in good hands with a group of individuals who are passionate about their jobs. My Champ walked out of the appointment happy, fresh, and clean. I definitely will be going back.

I really enjoyed being able to see our dog everyday on the video camera. We also enjoyed the pictures, videos and messages sent everyday of our dog playing and having a great time. He was taken very good care of and he was happy when we picked him up after being there for a week. I felt very comfortable leaving him there with all of the security and safety precautions that they have. I will definitely use their services in the future. Great staff! Thank you!

Took our 8 month old, large mixed breed puppy for help with leash training and basic commands. By the end of the first session, he was no longer pulling and walking loose leash. Two more sessions scheduled. Can’t wait to see all the other improvements we can make.

This was our first time taking our dog to a boarding kennel & I have nothing but FABULOUS things to say about it here!!!! Excellent care & service in all aspects. The facility is very, very neat & clean. A huge selection of activities to choose from if desired. They were exceptionally friendly, caring, affectionate, observant, communicative & extremely accommodating & organized. I would never go elsewhere. We were extremely satisfied. Definitely would recommend Ruffin Around to everybody. They took the most wonderful care of our fur baby!! All hard workers there! We appreciated every one of them. You can well be assured your pet is in the best hands while you’re away! It’s like a vacation for them as well!! 🙏🏼💗🐶

This was my first time at Ruffin Around. Ken was amazing with my 11 month Aussie doodle. We made an appointment for six weeks to take her back. They are amazing. I also was able to get in quickly. Thank you guys so much.

These folks are a 5-star operation! They are conscientious in caring for the pups! They do a number of things that seem extraordinarily special for a day-care kennel: When you start your dog, they don't just put them in the class. They start with a "Muttesori" school. They assign your pet one-on-one with a staff member. This can go on for a number of weeks. This way they learn your pet's tendencies and behaviors. They get them acclimated to being at the day-care. The pets learn what is expected of them. Everybody, staff and pets, are safer and happier this way. Then they "graduate" to their regular "class". They keep them in a group with others of a similar size. Everyone knows everyone's name and personality. Again, everyone is safer and happier this way. They have special days for birthdays and holidays. The Halloween Party was fantastic this year! They have special activities and send you home some really nice photos of your pet participating! All of the dogs are happy to go to school in the mornings...you can watch them enthusiastically dragging their owners to the front door! This is proof positive that they are really doing something right. They promise you a tired and happy dog at the end of the day. Again, you can watch them at dismissal and they are all very tired and very happy! More proof that they are really doing something right. They are very conscientious about making sure that all pets are current on their immunizations. They will definitely remind you if you forget something. This is reassuring so everyone stays healthy. We have been sending our Gracie to school every Thursday for years now. Not only are we confident that she is well taken care of, but it is also a great idea so that "Mom and Dad" can have some time without the "Kid" once a week! They took wonderful care of our pets! Very kind staff that treated our scared Yorkie with lots of love and cuddles and made our big fat cat feel like a king with his cuddle and catnip sessions! They also took care of our dog's medical needs by administering her medication, so if you have an animal with medical issues, this is a great choice!

Excellent kennel. Very clean and friendly staff. They took very good care of my cat and he seemed to enjoy the catio and the attention the staff was giving him. Definitely recommend this to friends and family.

Meghan did an outstanding job with Miles, our Cockapoo. I provided a photo, and she followed it to a tee. Miles loves people, but isn't wild about grooming. He's free of matted spots, smells great, and showed no signs of trauma. He feels handsome. ❤️

Increased pricing and was not made aware it would be $15.00 extra a day to give medication. At pick up, they didn't have the rest of her medication and said she had taken it all - they returned her with her leash, a small zip loc bag of dog food and her blanket. I called to inquire about the rest of her stuff and also let them know there was a whole bottle of medication so it shouldn't be empty. They then found all of her stuff and said we could come back and pick it up. When returning, her bag still had three cans of wet food and treats that had been untouched. I sent her a can for every day she was there, so she didn't get wet food for three days. This is not the service I have had in the past. I sent an email to the owner thinking she wasn't aware of her staffing....no response. Oh - and I also tipped. Do not recommend.

Loved this place when I lived in WV. My 2 guys would always get so excited for daycare...they were even extra patient with my bulldog. Great place and great care.

My dogs love it here, they honestly didn't do well in other places, but they seem to like it here. They also are great for grooming.

Great experience here. It was about an hour and a half for my dog to get a much needed grooming. Staff were kind and considerate, felt completely comfortable leaving my dog with them.

Worst experience ever. Tried to call about boarding our dog, couldn't get through. We stopped by and inquired about boarding. The worst service I have ever experienced. She was younger, and said that since my dog wasn't neutered they wouldn't take him. Policy doesn't state that. She was not professional at all, and by the look on her face and tone she spoke to me, please take your business elsewhere.

I can’t believe it has taken me this long to write a review. They treat my dog like he is theirs! I know I can ALWAYS count on them and I trust them to take as great care of my dog as if he is with me. I moved three hours away but still take him here. It is always clean as well!

Called a month ago to set up my pets for boarding and was asked to send in the vaccination paperwork. Sent it into the email address listed on the website. I was called TODAY at 1:30PM and told that the paperwork was never received. I was then given a DIFFERENT email than what was listed on the website, and then told that my dog did not have ONE vaccine that NO VET HAS EVER EVEN RECOMMENDED I GET. When I called and asked why this wasn't informed to me prior to THE DAY OF- I was told, "It's very busy, and we only have three people working here". I don't know who thinks that this is an intelligent way to run a business, but they should re-evaluate that. Fix your website, fix your process, and fix your expectations. There's no way that I can get my dog a vaccine within an hour and a half. That isn't realistic. Terrible business.

What a wonderful place! They are always clean and look nice. The staff are very helpful and always willing to discuss helpful tips and pointers for our dog. Their prices are a bit more, but you get what you pay for! They don't have any hidden fees like most places; my dogs gets excised regularly and he loves it there. Would recommend to anyone!!!!

My boys love everyone here! Even when they haven’t been there in a few months - as soon as we walk in, all the ladies are greeting both of them. ♥️♥️ they get so happy to go and run with their friends. I also love following the Facebook page so I can see photos of their day.

My son Rockee "The Rock Star" as they call him is always taken care of. He's family to them. I was nervous letting anyone watch him bc I never boarded before but after a few night stays, multiple times, I was convince that this place loves what they do. Rockee loves his other family at Blue Ribbon! I won't go no where else but Blue Ribbon!

Capone and Dutch absolutely LOVE going to see their Fur Friends & Human Friends at Blue Ribbon Daycare!!! I love seeing all the pictures of them playing! I recommend Daycare & Boarding to EVERYONE!

Terrible experience. Use to frequently board 2 Great Danes with Blue Ribbon for both daily day care and long term stays. My dogs are regularly socialized. On the last occasion we had paid to have our dogs in daycare during the day so they weren’t locked in a kennel all day. Mid day, we show up to pick up our Danes to find they are in the kennel. No biggie. One Dane comes out completely confused. Without proof, I’m almost certain CBD or some sedative was used. A super active dog came out of there and pretty much slept for 3 days. My other Dane who is a super personable dog is now extremely afraid of larger people, to the point he will cower if approached. Especially if it’s a large man with facial hair, like the guy who brought us our dogs from the kennel. That was our last straw with blue ribbon. We have not returned and advise that if you have a large breed dog that you seek other local options.

My puppy and I attended the Basic dog training program for 4 nights. The instructors were knowledgeable,patient and professional. I highly recommend the evening classes for your dog training needs, there are a few different classes available to choose from. I urge you to reach out to them for your dog training and socializing needs.

I couldn't be more happy than I am with Blue Ribbon Dog Academy. My dog loves it there and I love the staff. They are super nice to my dog and they know him well. The parents of the other dogs are also nice.

We recently were in need of a dog sitter that we could rely on for our boy Rippy and found Barkbarn! Couldnt be happier with the experience , as she allowed us to have a trial play day first to see how he does with the other dogs. He had a great day and did so well! Pictures and videos were sent to me so i could see how he was doing! Am so happy to have found Barkbarn and am looking forward to our next trip, as i feel my boy Rippy will be so very well taken care of!

I was looking for a place to look after my French Bulldog who was suffering from a dislocated disk. The doctors suggest 2-3 weeks rest, with no rough-housing or other strenuous activities. Bark Barn was the perfect place my dog. Talk about TLC. She got it 100 percent. My dog ended up taking surgery and I’m going to use BB for her recuperation period. Just wonderful people who truly love dogs.

We absolutely love Barkbarn! The staff is always amazing and care so much about all the dogs. Our dog Maggie attends daycare and has been boarded multiple times at Barkbarn with no problems. Maggie gets so excited to see everyone at Barkbarn. We always get picture and text updates while we are away. Highly recommend BarkBarn for boarding and daycare!

The owners of Barkbarn are incredible. These two wonderful people will make sure that your dog is not only boarded in a warm and welcoming facility, but that they have ample time to get outside to run, play, and smell. They also worked on little bit of training while our dog was there. We were updated with photos of our dog in their backyard and out on hikes.10 out of 10, worth every penny, and I will 100% be using them again.

My family is so grateful for BarkBarn! BarkBarn has helped us train and care for our very large lab since he was about four months old. He *loves* going to BarkBarn for daycare and boarding, and we trust the BarkBarn team (Alana, Brock, and Hailee) to give the same love and care as they do their own family dogs. We took our Golden Retriever to Barkbarn for a weekend stay after hearing so many glowing recommendations. This was our first time leaving him anywhere overnight since before Covid, and we were a little nervous. We could not be more pleased - the owners are so nice and welcoming & great with communication. We will 100% be using Barnbarn exclusively for our future boarding needs in Morgantown. 10 stars!!

We were looking for a new place for our fur babies to vacation at while we were out of town and we were so excited that we found Barkbarn! One of our good friends reccomended them to us and Barkbarn did not dissapoint! Our pups were well cared for and the youngest (3 years old) acted like she could have stayed there all week - she was so comfortable! The owners provided us with updates and pictures throughout our pups stay with them, and were very friendly and professional. We will definitlaly be boarding with them again :).

Took my 4 month old pup to the Bark Barn for full day daycare and she had a blast! I received multiple text and photo updates throughout the day. Owners are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and care for all dogs like they are their own! Highly recommend!

This was our first time hiring a catsitter and we were reluctant to have someone we didn’t know take care of Cece while we left town for the weekend. I found Fetch and was astonished by their overwhelmingly positive reviews, so I called and spoke to Matt who was extremely kind and helpful in clearly/concisely explaining how their business operates. I told my girlfriend about it and we weren’t sure what to expect but Pam was excellent and super nice! She actually set up a time to come down, meet us at our apartment, say hello to our cat, and ask us everything she needs to know about taking care of Cece before we left. She also sent us pictures every time she stopped in to show us that Cece was okay which is really important to us as her owners. If you’re hesitant about trusting a stranger to care for your pets while you’re away, do yourself a world of a favor and contact Fetch! You will not be disappointed! NOT TO MENTION THEIR PRICES ARE VERY BUDGET-FRIENDLY.

I found Fetch Pet Care about a year ago, and I've absolutely loved working with them! Our cat sitter Becky always takes amazing care of our two cats, and it's so nice to feel assured that they and the house are looked after while we are gone. We use Sarah as our cat sitter and she is amazing! We know our cats are in great hands with her. In addition, this service is reliable, friendly, and always makes sure we have a sitter. This is important especially since we have to leave on short notice. I would recommend using Fetch and if you need a cat sitter, Sarah is amazing. We also use Wendy and she is great too. Wonderful people work here!

We had such a great first experience with Fetch. Our sitter was extremely professional and provided great care for our two cats while we were on vacation. She called or texted me each day she visited to let me know how they were doing which I really appreciated. She even was able to help us by coming over early one day at the last minute when there was a potential emergency situation with water leakage in our home. We will definitely be using Fetch and our sitter the next time we are out of town!

I contacted Fetch Pet Care to take care of my cat when I had to go out of town on relatively short notice. They were very accommodating and flexible, which I appreciated! Aimee took great care of my cat while I was away, and even sent me pictures of him to let me know he was doing ok! It was such a peace of mind to be able to keep my cat at home while I was away. Fetch is now my go-to group for pet care and I highly recommend them!

I have used Fetch for the last 10+ years. When I have traveled I have had the same two people come into my home to care for my cats. I have never worried and whenever I have returned home the cats’ attitudes have been “we didn’t miss you at all“. Beth W has boarded my dogs in her home for the last 5+ years. I typically get a video or two showing them at “Club Med” and I am always amazed at how tired and happy they are when I pick them up. My experience has been that everyone treats my pets like they are one of theirs… Highly recommend!!

After a bad experience with another pet sitting service (dogs were their priority), we discovered Fetch and used them for over a year when we lived in Pittsburgh. What I love about their model is that you get assigned an animal sitter which I prefer so that our cats get comfortable and familiar with one person. Obviously if they are unavailable, Fetch can arrange for a back up. Our cat sitter was Paulette and she was warm and wonderful to our two cats! She would usually send photos during each visit which gave us piece of mind. She would come twice a day, usually for 30 minute visits. And she was always ready to care for our furbabies on short notice. I highly recommend Fetch and Paulette for peace of mind when you have to go away! Billing is done monthly and you can add a tip if you are short on cash before going away.

This is a long review, but I wanted to be sure to share the details. TL;DR: I would not recommend this facility because of negligent communication that can cause significant harm to your pet. We sent our dog here for daycare for two separate periods of time. We had no complaints during that first period, but when he returned after a six month break, we were informed that he had a run-in with a dog from another room while that room was being cleaned. The next several times we picked our dog up, we asked if there had been any additional issues and we were told by staff, no, he was acting normally. Several months later, I was looking through pictures posted by P4P on their Facebook page and noticed my dog was not present in the room that we had been told he was assigned to. I kept scrolling and saw that he was in the “solo/open” group, which I had never heard of. When I picked our dog up that day, the owner brought him out, and I asked her what “solo/open” meant. She explained that the open group was a smaller group and that after our dog had returned to daycare in the spring, they had moved him to different rooms because he was not getting along with other dogs (showing herding behaviors including nipping and “being too crazy” in her words when dogs would come in and out). I asked her why this was the first I was hearing about this literally four months after his return and she did not have a satisfactory answer. I messaged later that night requesting to see his new setup, and she agreed that we could come in later in the week, and apologized for any miscommunication. When my partner arrived to look at the room that our dog was now placed in, she was rude and dismissive, telling him that she didn’t have time to deal with “this” today because too many of her staff had called out. Another staff member took my partner back to the boarding area, a much smaller area with a smaller run, surrounded by dogs in kennels, and needless to say, we cancelled the rest of our reservations. I requested a refund for the remaining sessions on our package, which I thought was more than reasonable considering we bought the last package (over $300) without being informed of the changes to our dog’s situation, but unsurprisingly, especially based on the other negative reviews on here, she never responded. The bottom line is that I would have expected to be told about any behavior patterns that led to my dog’s care being changed so that we could make an informed decision that would keep him, other dogs, and the staff safe. The absence of communication about the issues that led to his placement in a different situation that we were not told about is unacceptable and unprofessional. We won’t be sending our dog to any daycare facility now, because we’re worried that the situation he was placed in at P4P has made him reactive in large group settings—and he was certainly not like that before sending him here. Beware of this owner and this facility—she will not inform you if there are any issues that arise with your dog as long as she can find a way to keep taking your money.

review is based on boarding from 6/21/24-6/28/24 I recently dropped my just under 4 year old, 5.8 pound maltese off to Pampered 4 paws while i flew home for a few days. He stayed one week in total. I called for pricing and instructions on how to board the morning before drop off. I gave breed, weight, and age when calling and asked for specific instructions on pricing and documentation needed to board. I was given a price for his weight and instructions on the documentation needed to board. we arrived at around 5pm. First impression, the place is nice and looks professional and aesthetically pleasing. No red flags initially. when i arrived, i was greeted by a friendly young lady. I did see that communication was poor between staff when i was asked did i have a reservation, i politely replied no, i have my name and explained that i called that morning about boarding. I was told that they had to make sure there was availability being that they were near full. I felt as though that should have been explained to me when called, but no big deal. I was then told that he would be able to stay. When i asked about meals, i was told that i had to provide food. I wasn’t made aware of that prior to but no problem; i went and purchased food in which i bagged into a medium sized ziplock bag. I then gave my information and documentation needed and was on my way. When i dropped him there, he was freshly washed, as i knew he’d be there for a period of time. upon picking him up the following friday, i was given a price that wasn’t expected. When i asked for the breakdown, i was told i was charged a 5 dollar bagging fee for meals per day and she argued i did not bring food. Which i did, and he came out with the remainder of the food i supplied. I was told that he was placed in the largest suit, which i was not made aware of, even though his weight qualified for the smaller sweet that i was initially priced when i called and inquired about boarding. I feel as though their communication was very poor and unprofessional. None the less, the service was provided, irritated, but i paid the bill owed and remained respectful. my biggest problem is that when i received my dog back, his eye was completed matted with old discharge and was still draining. He is a furry dog, i did not inspect him once they gave him back to me as i quickly left. When i got back to my apartment i immediately noticed his eye. For the prices charged to care for our pets, the quality is not met. Not only did i receive a bill from them with charges i knew nothing about, but i now have a vet bill because of negligence. We love p4p. The staff is amazing and care so much about all of the dogs. They are kind and very helpful. Our dog goes to daycare 2 times a week and gets soooo excited to see his doggie friends. They have birthday parties, Halloween parties, Valentine’s Day, an Easter hunt, it’s really awesome. Cannot say enough good things!

Booking is easy, but grooming service has long wait times. They offer cute doodle cuts.

My dog attended Pampered 4 Paws for about 3 months while I worked locally. During her last week I got a call that after multiple incidents she was no longer allowed for regular daycare. This was the first I ever heard of any problems so I was shocked. When speaking with the staff they described my dog as sometimes being perfect and sometimes being "bad" that broke my heart because all I ever heard when picking her up was that she was doing well. I'm also not accustomed to people who work with animals calling them "bad" versus speaking to what specific actions are problematic or what environmental factors contribute to their reactivity. We have used daycare in multiple states and never had an issue. I wish I could have known there were issues sooner so I could immediately remove her. I worry now that her experiences at this facility have made her reactive and that daycare may not ever be an option again. I think the limited interaction that pet parents get with staff via car-side pickup/drop-off doesn't lend itself to communicating about how the dogs are doing. Perhaps some kind of emailed report card would prevent important information from slipping through the cracks until it is too late.

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this facility for one day, for doggy day care, and it was truly disappointing and frustrating. The owner of this place was an absolute nightmare to deal with. From the moment I first reached out to enroll my dogs, it was clear that she had no interest in providing a pleasant and respectful customer experience. Initially, I gave her the benefit of the doubt, thinking that maybe she was having a tough day. However, as I continued to interact with her, it became apparent that her behavior was consistent. First and foremost, the owner was incredibly rude and condescending. It felt like she believed she was doing me a favor by allowing my dogs to stay at her facility, which was far from the case. Her attitude was nothing short of disrespectful, and I couldn't believe how poorly she treated paying customers. Moreover, the owner's instructions were inconsistent and confusing. It was evident that she didn't even know her own procedures, as there was a stark lack of consistency between what she said and what her frontline staff told me. It's incredibly frustrating when you're trying to plan for your pets' care, and you can't get clear and accurate information from the person in charge. The entire process of booking and paying for my dogs to stay here was a massive headache. There were an absurd number of unnecessary steps and hurdles to jump through, almost as if they wanted to make it as difficult as possible. It felt like I was begging for the "privilege" of paying them to keep my dogs in a cramped space. In summary, I wouldn't recommend this pet boarding facility to anyone. The owner's rude and condescending attitude, along with the inconsistency in instructions and the convoluted booking process, make this place a real headache to deal with. Save yourself the frustration and find a more customer-friendly establishment for your beloved pets. Dealing with someone like this, let alone an owner, is a complete waste of your time and energy. Go somewhere else.

We absolutely love Pampered 4 Paws! Once we discovered this place, we decided to take our golden retriever to daycare certain days when we are at work so he can socialize with other dogs and play so he isn’t alone all day. Not only does he have a blast at daycare, but they also will groom him before coming to pick him up just for the convenience of it! We’ve taken our golden several places to get groomed and haven’t had much luck in finding a decent spot until now. She did everything I asked and made him look like exactly how I was wanting! I never thought we would find a place that was able to groom him so well and make him look this good. Riki (the owner) groomed him and I cannot say enough good things about her. I highly recommend Pampered 4 Paws for any of your puppy needs!

We brought our dog here several times to be groomed. The staff could sometimes be very rude. While I genuinely appreciate their honesty about my dog's behavior, they accused us of not telling them our dog snapped at the dryer when that was never something previously mentioned at his other groomer and that had never been our experience when drying him at home either. Every time he would come home from here, he would take significant steps back in cooperative care (e.g., being okay/excited with nail trims, ear cleanings, and being brushed). We recognized that this could just be due to starting at a new grooming facility, so we had him groomed about 5 times. Sometimes his quick would be cut on several different nails which would explain his difficulty with nail trimmings at home following grooms. Each time, his groom really looked fantastic, and their pricing was incredibly fair. However, I cannot emphasize enough that he clearly did not feel comfortable here and that has not been his experience at two other facilities where they gave positive reports other than initial nervousness and I had never seen regression in cooperative grooming care at home. I recognize that it is normal for dogs to feel nervous and uncomfortable at the groomer, but there has been a stark difference in his behavior following being groomed at this facility vs others.

My 14 yr old lab loves it. The staff is very pleasant and professional. The groomer is excellent. My dog hates to have his nails trimmed. My vet wanted to sedate him. The groomer at pampered4pets takes him back and within 2 minutes trims his nails. He is not stressed out.

Pampered 4 Paws is our go to groomer for our Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever Mix! Today I took our new puppy in for a nail trim & had the BEST EXPERIENCE! The standard of care that we received exceeded my expectations! Riki & Morgan were SO kind, patient, & understanding with my nervous pup! They made the process an easy one. I placed my pittie mix there while we were on vacation. He's very high energy and I worried that my mom could not handle how active he is (and she's 74). The staff eased my dog mom anxieties about leaving my baby. I felt so at ease knowing they were going to take such good care of him! And boy did they! They sent me pix and he looked like he was living his best life! The facility was clean, organized, and staff were all amazing! If I could give them 10 stars I would!

Took my rescue, Hazel Jo, Border Terrier, Today and had a very good experience. They gave her a very nice grooming. The people there were very friendly, and the place was clean.

Experienced getting my dog groomed here. Not at all what I asked for or showed a photo of. The groomer just completely ignored my request and shaved him. If I wanted him to be totally shaved down I could have done that myself and saved $100.

I don't know what they got going on. My dogs stayed there for 2 1/2 days and they smelled horrid. My guess they stayed in a indoor pin and just had their waste sprayed out.

I made an appointment to have my 2 year old male golden groomed here this week. The facility is beautiful and the staff were so friendly. I had Checked prices from other groomers and was prepared to pay $$$ for a bath, trim, and full deshed. But no- their prices were great and the work was amazing! My boy was so happy and spunky when I picked him up. I will definitely be a loyal customer here from now on. Thanks for your great work!

Greg is the best!! I have a senior golden retriever with separation anxiety and a little arthritis. He is gentle and kind and she is always excited to see him. She looks so amazing every time I pick her up and she smells wonderful ( wish I could keep her that way) The grooming area/ kennel is clean, bright and quiet. Not stressful at all like a pet store grooming place. I would definitely recommend Greg and Bakers Farm grooming to anyone!

When we started to plan a trip to Italy, I couldn’t get too excited until I knew who would watch our dogs. Our regular sitter could only cover the first several nights, so I had to find someone to cover the rest of the trip. I looked for hours to find someone who meets our high standards and could stay at our home, especially since we would be an ocean away. Once we did a meet and greet with Gabby I knew she would be perfect. Our dogs loved her and she sent us tons of photos, videos and updates. There is no doubt these pups had constant love and attention. I never had to worry about them which allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation. When we came home they were calm and healthy. I would not be able to say that if we left them at a kennel. We feel like we made a new friend and am so happy to know I can trust her with our kids. Our home was clean and all secure when we returned, what a great experience. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Salute!

I don't even know where to begin. Let's just say I have two high maintenance dogs, one being elderly and one being a Jack Russell (enough said on that one!) I always struggle to relax when I am away, because the older dog has separation anxiety, and at nearly fifteen years old, I know her days are numbered. It is hard for me to have peace of mind not being able to be the main caretaker of her. Then I found Gabby. I have never had a vacation where I was able to relax and not be worried about how everything was going at home. Gabby went above and beyond, even with the crazy medication and supplement schedule I have the senior gal on, and the demanding nature of a high drive breed. She sent updates and pictures every single day. I did not have to wonder what was happening or how everything was going. I honestly could write pages about how amazing our experience with Gabby was, but let's just say this.. BOOK HER NOW. I'm already looking for dates for vacation next year so I can be sure to have her in advance. Could not have asked for anything more from her at all. If I could give an infinite amount of stars, I would!!

I have 2 tiny dogs that have super sensitive stomachs and eat 4 times a day. I had to travel out of state for almost a week and was extremely preoccupied about leaving my 2 little ones. I found Melrose pet resort, and let me tell you that Gabby is the most amazing, comprehensive, and pet lover dog sitter you could found. She took care of my babies like they were hers, she went above and beyond to accommodate them so they could be separated from bigger dogs, as I asked, they could have their meals at their regular schedule and she also kept updating me constantly with videos and pictures of my little ones. They had such a great time with her, got to make a few little friends that were staying at her place, and even participated in a Christmas photoshoot!. She gave me piece of mind while on my trip, and I definitely will be using her services next time I travel.

As a bulldog owner I’m always looking for the best care possible since our boy tends to need a little extra attention, and we absolutely found it with Gabby. Gabby’s attention to detail is on another level. She did an amazing job with our dog, Remi. He is a creature of habit, and his transition from us being out of town to Gabby staying with him and taking care of his routine was seamless. She thinks of everything to ease your mind of what is going on. Her love for animals is apparent, and I appreciate that so much. Remi has specific medications that have to be taken, and I was not worried about Gabby covering everything perfectly. I cannot rave about how great Gabby and Kris were with my dog! Being a sitter myself I know I can trust them with my anxious little boy going forward. I have never left my dog with anyone but my family before and him being an older and anxious dog I was not sure how he’d do. But almost immediately Gabby and Kris made him feel so comfortable and right at home. He received all the attention and affection he needed and I also received all the updates and pictures I needed to know he was doing great. Talk about an AMAZING dog sitter and person, Melrose Pet Resort is a far better pet sitter that I ever came across. I came from out of state, and we were recommended to Melrose Pet Resort while we look for a home. Contacted her and immediately got a quick response. I never in my life have as much interaction with her as other dog sitters in the past. I have a Deaf dog and one with diet needs... Gabby constantly send photo's and video's of there activities, and I could see how happy my fur babies were. She is very personal and active with my pets and I am excited to have her again and as well as Chico and Bella. I am glad I am moving to Florida knowing when I need Gabby again, I will never have to worry about my fur babies again, knowing they will be in great care.... WOOF WOOF APPROVED

Hands-down, the best pet sitter I've ever had the honor to work with. It was like leaving the dogs with a family friend. If I even had the slightest worry about them or their care, it vanished in the rain of delightful photos and videos and the constant updates about breakfast, dinner, lizard hunts and games of Ball. It is just possible that my dogs had a better time than I did while I was on vacation. They stayed in their very own room, in crates for everyone's safety, but were out and about quite a lot of the time (certainly WAY more than they would be in a kennel or daycare) and they were treated like family. They got to "help" make dinner and cuddle on the sofa and watch TV. Obi even got to chase MANY BALLS AT THE SAME TIME. Heaven! Obi and Ursa can't wait to stay with Aunt Gabby again!

We recently put our baby Jasmine here after searching for a boarding facility for weeks. And I can't say how happy we are that we decided to choose Melrose Pet Center opposed to one of those facilities. Not only did she get personalized care, she got love and affection the entire time. We know so because Gabby sent us updates daily; mornings, afternoons when she could, and night. She sent Pictures and videos and Jasmine looked like she was having the time of her life. I also loved the cute bandanas she had while we got the pictures. We were even lucky enough to get a pic of Jas with Santa in their home (Thanks Kris!! Lol). Jasmine also enjoyed playing with her dogs, tiring them out all day! If we could give more than 5 stars, we absolutely would! Thank you again for treating our pup like she was one of your own!

Took my cat there for his matted hair. Was welcomed and very pleasant ladies. Left my cat and when I went back to get him he was beautiful. No matted hair he was very clean and looked wonderful. I am so pleased I will return for him to just get groomed. Thank you for the excellent service and care of my animal.

I have never boarded my four-legged companions before. If they couldn't accompany me, I didn't go. I was nervous and didn't like the concept of boarding my 3 mo. old puppy, however, Fancy Paws took extraordinary care of my little girl. Took our KoKo there to get groomed. She was super happy and very well taken care of while there. Have already recommended them to a friend for her dog. Will definitely be back. Was also a much better price then others we spoke with and did more at no extra charge.

Boarded our pups there in August. They did great. Have gotten our dogs and previously a cat groomed there for several years. Always a wonderful job. ❤️

Called us on the morning of our trip to tell us we did not have a recent poop sample on file so our dogs couldn't stay. Didn't try contacting us any time sooner as we had no record of an incoming call or voice mail from the business. Not even a couple days to, you know, give us time to collect a sample and get said sample analyzed or a voicemail to let us know they tried to reach out. Thus leaving us to scramble the day of our flight to find care for our dogs. Absolutely would not recommend, super unprofessional and would suggest finding alternative care for your animals. What kind of kennel business thinks it's acceptable to call the morning of planned accommodations to cancel? It's either badly managed or poorly staffed either way, would you trust your dogs with people that are that unorganized? Edited to clarify that while the business may have tried to contact us they left zero proof of doing so with a voice mail. Honestly being gaslit by a business that does this is fairly unscrupulous.
